Miss Cinema Lombardia, vince la cremonese Angelica Ferrari  Nello splendido scenario di Bellano (LC) sulle sponde del Lago di Como, ieri Domenica 7 Agosto, al Palasole si è svolta la tappa di finale regionale per l’elezione di Miss Cinema Lombardia 2022, mancano infatti sempre meno posti per la definitiva composizione del gruppo di finaliste che rappresenteranno la Lombardia alle fasi nazionali. Ma non solo, ieri sera su palco si sono presentate per il titolo di Miss Mascotte le giovanissime ragazze che compieranno 18 anni entro la fine di agosto 2023, un titolo quello di Miss Mascotte che ha consentito l’accesso diretto alle finali regionali del tour Miss Italia Lombardia 2023. Per il secondo anno consecutivo il comune di Bellano ha fortemente voluto una delle più importanti tappe del tour Miss Italia Lombardia. Il sindaco Antonio Rusconi e l’assessore Irene Acquaroli insieme ad Alessandra Riva, agente del concorso per la Lombardia, hanno studiato un evento che è iniziato sin dalle prime ore del pomeriggio e ha dato molta visibilità territoriale sul web. Dal loro arrivo le ragazze in gara sono state protagoniste di un’intera giornata di shooting fotografici, riprese video e realizzazioni di contenuti social che ha permesso loro di farsi conoscere all’interno del contesto delle bellissime attrazioni naturali della cittadina di Bellano: dall’Orrido, ripide cascate proprio al centro della città, alle “lucie” imbarcazioni storiche tipiche del lago di Como, facendo conoscere al pubblico del web le meraviglie di questa città. Emozione alle stelle sin dai primi attimi sia per le Miss finaliste sia per le mascotte che per prepararsi al meglio allo spettacolo serale, hanno seguito alla lettera i preziosi consigli di Alessandra Riva di Rial Events, responsabile in esclusiva per la Regione Lombardia del concorso di Miss Italia. Prima delle intense prove le Miss hanno fatto il pieno di energie con un ricco aperitivo al Bar Arrigoni che si trova in centro sul lungolago, per poi dedicarsi al trucco e parrucco prima di andare in scena. Alle ore 21:00 ha preso il via lo spettacolo aperto da una sigla coreografata delle Miss e una sfilata della madrina della serata Miss Kissimo Lombardia Melissa Arnoldi nelle vesti di un angelo, con le ali create da Mia L’arte del riciclo. Giurati della Serata Il sindaco di Bellano Antonio Rusconi, Iryna Nicoli Miss Miluna Italia 2019, Letizia Maestri Make up Artist, Thomas Negri e Paula Christine Cancemi nprenditrice nel settore cosmetico. Sfilata in abiti da sera, body da concorso, bikini ed esibizioni si sono susseguite sul palco durante lo spettacolare evento che ha portato all’elezione della Cremonese Miss Cinema Lombardia Angelica Ferrari che si è aggiudicata così il pass per le fasi nazionali. Angelica, 18 anni, di Capralba (CR), studentessa delle superiori, ha la passione per il mondo televisivo e per la ginnastica artistica: ha portato infatti sul palco una strepitosa esibizione in questa disciplina. Ha anche la passione per lo studio delle lingue, parla infatti spagnolo, inglese e francese e ha studiato per due anni il cinese. A contendersi la corona con lei durante il momento batticuore, Giulia Zengarini,18 anni, di Carugo (CO). Ha studiato recitazione e cinema oltre che teatro, ha iniziato a giocare a pallavolo all’età di 8 anni ed ha appena finito il campionato di serie C, pronta ad iniziare la serie B la prossima stagione, ma con il sogno della serie A. Ha già avuto diverse esperienze nel mondo della moda e della pubblicità e lavora anche come receptionist in una palestra. Terza classificata Simona Pavia, 18 anni, di Gussago (BS). Ha praticato balli latino americani a livello agonistico raggiungendo livelli nazionali. My last day of the CMBYN pilgrimage

I went to Elio's spot this morning. (The only reason I chose today to go, is that the weather report said today would be the only day that wouldn't rain during my stay lmao.) I took the train to Capralba and the walked about 25-30 minutes to get to his spot, which is Fontanile Quarantina (google it then you'll find out where it is). Well, at first I thought I couldn't get in because there is a gate sorta blocked the way, but actually you can go through it from the side.

Anyway, I got to Elio's spot and I could hear Elio telling Oliver "this is my spot, all mine" in my head awwwww —

But then I stared at the water and was stunned by my stupidity that how come I never thought about the possibility that I HAVE TO GO INTO THE WATER to be able to take photos that look like the scene???!!!! (God I hoped I have brought my flip-flops...) So I did. Got into the water. In November.

And you know what's the first thought that popped up on my mind?

ITS NOT FREEZING AT ALL OLIVER YOU ARE SUCH A DELICATE LITTLE FLOWER!!! AND YOU WERE EVEN THERE IN SUMMER!

So now Elio's reaction to Oliver's comment suddenly has some new meaning to me...

I took off my shoes and left them on where I stepped into the water, when I was in the middle of the water I realized my shoes would be in the photos if looking closely, because nothing would block them. But you know, by that point I didn't even give a damn when I had been stepping on pointy little stones which somehow managed to be pointy and slippery, I'm not walking back to put my shoes somewhere that wouldn't be in my photos and walking to the middle of that pond again. (Is that a pond or something?) Anyway, I'm glad I can't see my shoes in those instant photos which aren't as sharp as digital one lmao.

So after my struggle of taking photos and videos of Elio's spot, I planned to find where they first kissed. But the season is all wrong, everything looked yellow and brown and I didn't have a single clue where the damn spot was, even though I knew I was standing there according to Google Maps. So guys, if you ever wanna go there, pick what season you visit wisely lol.

After the advent to Elio's spot, I went back to Crema, and saw three groups of people that I highly suspect were going to Crema for CMBYN, I mean one girl was even in a shirt that looked similar to Elio's "face shirt"... And I was wondering what special day today was that people were coming Crema???

I walked 16 minutes to a place that I wasn't sure was open, but wanted to try my luck before I had to catch a train in an hour. And lucky I was able to get in the place Armie said they shot the scene he hates the most lol.

I know it doesn't really look like the scene in the movie without all the tables and chairs and stuff, but you can see the stage on the left under all those piled up chairs, despite the not ideal angle of this pic.

But in the gif you might have a better idea of how it looks like...

And this place even has an interesting name lol.

I wanted to stay longer, but I had to catch the train to The Train Station Elio and Oliver said their goodbye. And today I got to the station without trouble. (YAY! You know yesterday's tragedy is still vivid...)

And I was lucky to capture the moment that there's actually train stopped on the platform. The movie has two scenes with trains on the platform, one is the train arriving, the other one is Elio watching Oliver's train go.

And then I had to wait one and half hour at some place basically is in the middle of nowhere for the train back to Crema lol. But this station being the last stop of my pilgrimage feels like some mysterious coincidence.

Maybe it's because this is the iconic place of the movie that holds such powerful emotions, and just like Elio, I don't really feel ready for this pilgrimage to end yet.

I don't know, maybe this feels like some sort of closure to me, and I'm not sure I want it to end. But well, I still have some set locations that I didnt have the chance to go, so maybe someday I'll come back again?

Somehow this is getting melancholy lol. Anyway, thanks for all of you who have replied/reblogged/liked my pilgrimage posts, you have no idea how chatting with you guys while I'm in Crema,the place that brings us together makes me feel. It's an overwhelming and unique experience that I think I'll remember forever. I'm so glad I came :D

The bar where Oliver asks what it is people do around the small town. In reality, there is no real bar there and the scene was carefully shot to make it look like there is one.

3. Piazza Gambazocchi - Moscazzano

Elio watches as Oliver joins a game of cards with the locals. And this bar is actually real. It’s name is Bar Belvedere and has the address Piazza Gambazocchi, 7.

4. Laghetto dei Riflessi - Palata Menascutoo Nature Reserve

Elio and his kind-of-girlfriend slip into the water for a late-night swim.

5. Grottoes of Catullus - Sirmione

became the backdrop for the trip of Perlman Sr, Oliver and Elio to an archaeological site.

6. Memorial on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III - PandinoAs

is featured for Elios and Olivers conversation which qucikly gets shut down by the latter.

7. Fontanile Quarantina - near Capralba

became Elio special place, where he goes to read and where the water running down from the mountains is freezing. It becomes the scenery for the first physical expression between the two boys.

Erik

It was mostly Charles that did the talking as they made their way to the parking lot, asking Erik questions about his classes and his tenure at Stanford, and inquiring after the health of his parents and his sister Ruth. Though they had spoken at length about his family, Charles never had the opportunity to meet them in person, still away at Oxford during the Lehnsherrs’ visit almost eleven years ago. It had been the one and only time Erik had returned to the villa, and to Italy, since he and Charles had parted ways in Rome.

At the time, Erik had thought he was happy; with a professorship at his alma mater and married with three year old twins. And he thought he was happy for Charles too, with the news Raven shared about her brother’s life at Oxford, and the relationship that had blossomed between him and a fellow geneticist named Moira. It was gratifying to know that Charles had grown and moved on so successfully, living and loving a full life of his own.

Erik had always known that Charles was meant for great things; things that by circumstance and a disparate upbringing Erik could never give him. Charles’ life consisted of scientific breakthroughs and travel that took him all over the world; Erik’s was office hours and coaching the twins’ soccer team. Though their time together had been painfully short, Erik was grateful for it nonetheless, for in those two weeks and three days they had it all; each other, the world, and a love that was everything.

But the trip to Crema did not lay the ghost of their relationship to rest, and Erik found himself thinking more and more about Charles in the weeks and months that followed. Yes, he’d taken Magda and the children to the village and some of the places he’d visited with Charles, and yes they’d stayed at the villa with the Xaviers, eating the same food and swimming in the same plunge pool. But it was a wholly different experience this time around, somehow lacking in a way that Erik didn’t understand and couldn’t quite decipher.

Then one night Magda had said, “I can understand why you like it there so much, with the Xaviers. Their place is so beautiful, like stepping back in time or into another world. And you…you’re like a different person there. A different Erik, from another life.”

It had shocked him, the realization that had come from Magda’s words, as the reasoning behind his own actions suddenly became clear. The Erik that had gone back had not been the same man that had left, and his own subconscious mind had known the distinction, avoiding all things that were intrinsically tied to Charles in his memories. He had refused the Xaviers’ offer to take Charles’ old room, where he had stayed as a guest that summer, because sleeping there with his wife – instead of Charles – would have been inherently wrong. And he hadn’t taken the kids to visit the reserve near Capralba, to Charles’ favorite hiding place, where he went to read and to be alone and had revealed to no one but Erik for all the years the Xaviers had summered in Italy. He kept Charles apart because Charles was his and his alone; because Erik had never been happier and more truly himself than he was that summer, neither before nor after.    

“Well, this is me.”

Charles had stopped next to his rental car, and was now standing there with a slight smile, waiting patiently no doubt, for some kind of response.

“Are you sure I can’t convince you to change your mind, and come for dinner?” Erik asked, desperate for it not to end; suddenly sure that letting him go would be a mistake, and that Charles would slip away like a beautiful dream and Erik wouldn’t see him again for another fifteen years.

Or maybe ever.

It was unthinkable, and Erik didn’t know what to do or say to make him stay.

“Not dinner no,” Charles answered, making Erik’s heart sink painfully in his chest before he added, “but come have a drink with me. My hotel’s not far.”

“Your hotel…” He hesitated, because he so desperately wanted to say yes, to whatever it was that Charles was offering, even knowing what kind of man that made him. Even knowing what it would do to his perfectly ordered life. “A drink?”

Charles laughed, though his eyes glittered with obvious challenge. “Just a drink, Erik. Not a fuck.”

Was it disappointment that he saw on Charles’ face? For just a split second, before he let Erik off the hook? Or was Erik projecting hidden meaning when there was none, and he was the only one so shaken and affected by their reunion?

He smiled, and shook his head. “Of course, Charles. Let’s go get that drink.”

I Carabinieri trovano un trattore rubato a Capralba (Cremona), ma poi vengono investiti da un trattore. Avevano appena rubato un mezzo agricolo quando sono incappati nei controlli dei Carabinieri. E’ accaduto verso le 03.00 dell’11 ottobre, sulla Strada Provinciale 19 nel comune di Capralba, presso Cremona. Nel corso del servizio perlustrativo, i militari della Stazione di Vailate, nel transitare lungo l’arteria stradale, hanno notato un trattore agricolo che, nel cuore della notte, viaggiava a fari spenti da Capralba in direzione di Campagnola Cremasca. Ovviamente insospettiti, hanno deciso di procedere al controllo ma gli occupanti, capite le intenzioni dei militari, hanno abbondonato in tutta fretta il mezzo dileguandosi a piedi per le campagne circostanti, facendo perdere le tracce.   Investiti  Mentre i militari stavano effettuando gli accertamenti sul trattore per capirne la provenienza, è sopraggiunto un furgone il cui conducente non si è accorto della presenza sulla strada del trattore, dell’auto di servizio e dei militari. Dopo avere frenato e sbandato, è piombato sul trattore colpendo anche un militare che si trovava nei pressi e che è stato scaraventato a terra. Inoltre, il trattore è indietreggato e, a sua volta, ha colpito l’auto di servizio e l’altro militare che si trovava nelle vicinanze. Scattato l’allarme, sul posto sono giunte altre pattuglie dell’Arma dei carabinieri di Crema, i vigili del fuoco, le ambulanze e l’elisoccorso.    Soccorsi I due militari sono rimasti infortunati, fortunatamente in maniera non grave, e sono stati accompagnati in ambulanza in codice giallo presso l’ospedale di Crema, mentre il conducente del furgone è rimasto incastrato nel mezzo ed è stato liberato dai vigili del fuoco. Poi un elicottero lo ha accompagnato, in codice giallo, presso l’ospedale di Cremona dove è ricoverato per accertamenti. I rilievi del sinistro stradale sono stati curati dalle pattuglie della Polizia Stradale, mentre i militari delle altre pattuglie della Compagnia di Crema hanno effettuato degli accertamenti sul mezzo agricolo che hanno permesso di appurare che era stato rubato poco prima proprio da un’azienda agricola presente nel comune di Capralba, ai danni di un imprenditore agricolo del luogo. Una volta terminati gli accertamenti di rito, il mezzo sarà restituito al proprietario. Sono in corso le indagini per identificare gli autori del furto. Read the full article

Da qualche parte nel nord Italia...

Guardando  “Chiamami col tuo nome” è il film candidato a 4 premi oscar di Luca Guadagnino tratto dal romanzo omonimo di André Aciman, non ho potuto fare a meno di notare la bellezza ma allo stesso tempo la semplicità dei luoghi in cui è ambientato. Si tratta della città Lombarda di Crema e i suoi dintorni. I luoghi di cui lo scrittore parla nel romanzo non sono gli stessi mostrati nel film, infatti nel libro il racconto è ambientato sulla costa, mentre Guadagnino ha deciso, di donare un altro scenario alla romantica storia estiva di Elio e Oliver.

Quelli che vi propongo sono alcune delle location in cui è stato girato il film, che ne dite, partiamo?

Il Duomo e la sua piazza

L'attuale Cattedrale di Crema è dedicata a S.Maria Assunta ed è stata edificata sui resti del duomo romanico, distrutto nel 1160 da Federico Barbarossa durante un assedio. La struttura è in stile romanico e gotico. L'interno è diviso da grandi pilastri in tre navate, contiene affreschi,dipinti e tele di vari artisti.La bellissima piazza è oggi il cuore della città, dove è piacevole passare pomeriggi tranquilli in compagnia. 

Sono presenti il tavolino, le sedie e le bici utilizzate dagli attori, ed è possibile scattare una foto seduti al tavolo.

Villa Albergoni

È la villa in cui si svolgono le vacanze estive della famiglia di Elio. Precisamente si trova a Mozzascano. È una location meravigliosa, e gli sceneggiatori sono riusciti ad arredarla in stile anni 80 e a creare un’atmosfera unica.  Possiede  un enorme giardino con vari alberi da frutto tra cui albicocche, un campo da pallavolo e persino una piccola piscina dove potersi rinfrescare. La villa è stata messa in vendita al prezzo di 1 milione e 700 mila euro. Assurdo vero?

Un luogo che ho adorato, soprattutto per le scene che vi hanno girato, (le più belle di tutto il film a parer mio), è molto romantico e si trova nel parco dei fontanili di Capralba,è in particolare il Fontanile Quarantine.

Le origini di questo fontanile sono molto antiche, probabilmente è stato il primo fontanile sorto sul territorio capralbese.

Un altro splendido luogo è Sirmione, sul Lago di Garda, luogo molto amato dai turisti. Qui storia, cultura e relax si fondono. Con la grotte di Catullo, una domus romana costruita tra il I e il II secolo d.C., e un bellissimo lago in cui fare un bagno rinfrescante.

Spero di avervi invogliato a scoprire questi luoghi dall’atmosfera sentimentale e ad appassionarvi a questa storia d’amore estiva.
