We've started hanging our newest exhibit featuring works by Daniel Danger (opening Saturday) and couldn't wait any longer to share this! One of the new things Daniel has made for the exhibit are these ABSOLUTELY insane triple-layered laser cut prints. Each features three layers that are first screen-printed, then laser cut, and then finally assembled in a frame with spacers. The final result is STUNNING.⁣ ⁣ There are two designs: one 19x13 (shown), and one 13x19, each an edition of 60. His explanation of his own work is borderline nonsense and involves overlapping timelines, references to SIERRA point n' click adventure games, number stations in the desert oscillating whispered converations, the death of ghosts at the hands of foliage, giant trauma shadow beings born of kidnapped children that drip wolf shadows, and 1920s childrens books.  He is the lost boy-king of Ghost Island, and a broken brain'd hoarder of vintage music gear, old toy ambulances, and bad hardcore records.
