When a Corrie with a bright smile takes the seat next to him at the bar, Boil has no clue why the brother picked this spot on the periphery of a big group of 212th. By his fifth drink and the Corrie's—Waxer's—fourth, he still has no clue, but he doesn't care as long as Waxer keeps smiling at him like this. Wooley and the rest of Boil's squad, who outpaced him a while ago, have stumbled over a few times to try and drag Boil and his 'new friend' into the raucous crowd, which now includes a handful of Corries. Thankfully, Waxer has seemed content to take Boil's lead, declining Wooley's invitations much more politely than Boil has bothered to. Drifting from topic to topic, they go on talking about the brothers in their units, about Kamino, about friends and batchmates, about the planets Boil has fought on and the countless levels of Triple Zero Waxer has patrolled. Every time Waxer leans in to be heard over the music, their spaulders taps together, and Boil is pretty sure the bar hasn't gotten louder over the past few hours, but he's not going to complain when Waxer's breath keeps tickling his ear.

Why Depa Billaba & Captain Grey are my ship?

To me the most underrated Jedi Master is Depa Billaba. It's because she wasn't in the battle scene at Geonosis in AOTC, wasn't in ROTS and only had a cameo in Season 7 of the The Clones Wars. It wasn't until the Kanan comic book and the 1st episode of The Bad Batch that we learn of her death when her clones (including Captain Grey) turned on her and her Padawan Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus). It is one of the best Order 66 death scenes and saddest. You see her blasted by the clones a couple of times as she screams to Caleb to run. You never see her death, just Caleb running and hearing her screams and this makes this the saddest for me.

In the Kanan comic book her death is shown more as Grey shoots her in the back.

Now everyone has a favorite Jedi besides the main characters like Obi-Wan and Anakin. Mine happens to be Depa Billaba. Like Obi-Wan who treats Anakin as a brother, she treats her padawan, Caleb almost as a son but she still comes over as a badass.

Everyone has a clone ship, like Rex & Ahsoka, Bly & Aayla, etc. Mine is Depa Billaba & Captain Grey. Your going to ask why, after he just gunned her down in the back. Well many love the Bly Aayla ship even though he gunned Aayla down in the back too. Many feel Bly kept firing on Aayla to give her a quick death. For me it's different with Depa and Grey. They had been together from the beginning of the Clone Wars and he was one of the only survivors of a battle with General Grievous but had stuck with her when after she healed from her battle with Grievous and helped create a new Battalion with her. But it is in the Kanan comics, when the clones are hunting Caleb and Grey shows his real regret for what he has done and blasts the Imperial ship's control panel to save Depa's padawan Caleb.

So this is my reason, saving Caleb, it's almost like a mother and father saving their child. It also makes me feel that because Grey saved Caleb there might have been more between Depa & Grey and that's why they are my ship. They would also have made a great couple Post Order 66 AU ship.

"Mmmh?" Waxer hums, turning his head toward Boil without quite opening his eyes. "Just covering you up," Boil whispers, barely audible from Rex's position. Tucking the blanket securely around Waxer's shoulders, Boil runs a hand over his scalp to cup Waxer's flushed cheek. "Go back to sleep." With a deep breath through his nose, Waxer nods a little and goes limp again. When Boil turns away from the bunk, Rex murmurs, "Should we relocate to my office so he can get some rest?" It's not very late in the evening, and unlike Waxer, neither of them just finished a double shift, so he doubts Boil is sleepy. Besides, Rex's office, with its larger desk and three chairs, is accessible from his quarters as well as the corridor outside, so they don't even have to get dressed to go over there. Boil waves a hand dismissively. "Nah, he'll sleep better if there's at least some noise—especially if he can hear our voices." Still, when he pulls the chair away from Rex's small personal desk next to the 'fresher door, Boil is careful not to let the legs scrape loudly. Glancing between Waxer and his camouflage-patterned ARF armor stacked in the corner of the room, Rex frowns. "So does he... have trouble sleeping on scouting missions?" Rex asks, then holds up a finger. "Actually, hold that thought. Do you want some caf?" Sitting down on the plasticene chair, Boil perks up. "Caf? Yeah, as long as I don't need to put any clothes on," he says with a roguish little smirk. It's unfairly attractive, and his tousled curls only make it worse.
