It’s been a long time since I posted a cob hobbit house, so here’s one on Mayne Island, BC Canada that’s available for short term rentals. But, the way it’s equipped, you can actually live in it year round. Has 1 bd. & 1ba.
This is a pretty spacious living room and it’s cozy, isn’t it?
Love how they sculpted the fireplace and put down stone flooring.
The thing about these is that you actually sculpt them, windows and all. Look at the heating on the left. These homes are typically made w/junk yard plumbing, etc., as well as damaged wood, like for the ceiling, b/c they’re supposed to look wonky.
This is why you could live here- it has a full kitchen, not a tiny house kitchenette.
Look at the cute storage.
Little built-in table and seats.
There’s a staircase to the bd. and bath.
Here’s the area at the top of the stairs leading into the bath.
It’s pretty roomy.
Has a big shower w/a little eye-shaped window.
I wonder how they bent the wood in the ceiling.
Look at the cute little desk in the corner of the loft.
Here’s another eye window. It must be fun to shape your own house.
And, look at the adorable little terrace. Do you love the moss roof?
And, since you’re out in the countryside living the natural life, you need animals.

Heleen & her boyfriend built this cute square BoHo house from scratch, out of cob.
They mostly used natural & recycled materials.
The interior comes from the side road, dumpsters, thrift stores and Facebook marketplace.
The wall sculpture is so creative, but Heleen says she can’t feel her arms after this!
I wouldn’t mind living in this home.
Still not finished, but they’re proud of it and wanted to post the living room and part of the bd. I think it’s looking great.
