born  to  a  soccer  player  father,  who  turned  coach  and  stay  at  home  mom,  tobias  lived  cozy  but  not  spoiled.  both  of  his  parents,  despite  having  a  lot  of  money  in  their  pockets,  refused  to  allow  their  son  to  grow  up  to  be  someone  that  relied  heavily  on  money  and  expecting  things  to  be  handed  to  him

high  school  football  was  something  that  he  signed  up  for  the  moment  he  saw  the  papers.  despite  this,  tobias  didn’t  let  the  popularity  go  to  his  head,  which  was  thanks  to  his  parents  for  keeping  him  humble  at  a  young  age.  tobias  became  ’the  nice  jock’,  where  he  made  sure  that  everyone  around  him  was  included.  with  senior  year  approaching,  he  knew  that  talent  scouts  would  be  hiding  in  the  bleachers  and  he  refused  to  let  anything  cause  him  to  slip.  

acting  accidentally  fell  into  his  lap  post-high  school  after  appearing  in  a  few  short  films  and  movies,  having  a  background  role  and  a  few  one  liners.  while  also  attending  college  for  business  (a  degree  he  would  never  use  in  real  life),  he  continued  to  do  some  movies,  while  also  being  a  frequent  in  reality  tv  with  his  first  serious  girlfriend  being  involved  with  the  cameras.

(pregnany  tw)  at  the  ripe  age  of  twenty  five,  after  a  drunken  night  full  of  self  pity  due  to  a  break  up  to  someone  he  fully  thought  would  be  his  forever  person,  he  got  into  bed  with  his  best  friend,  simply  as  a  distraction  on  both  of  their  ends.  days  passed,  then  weeks,  then  the  little  plus  sign  decided  to  make  itself  known  on  the  pregnancy  test,  changing  not  only  his  dynamic  with  his  best  friend  but  with  many  people  around  him.

despite  the  fears,  fatherhood  fell  into  his  lap  and  he  picked  up  the  label  without  fail.  able  to  change  a  diaper  in  under  a  minute,  reasearching  how  to  tell  what  cry  meant  what  and  willing  to  get  up  during  the  night  to  tend  to  their  daughter;  co-parenting  remained  stressless,  both  of  the  best  friends  having  a  bond  prior  to  this  situation  and  only  flourishing  as  closer  friends  as  the  time  went  on.

coming  back  into  acting  full  force  continues  to  be  exhausting,  especially  since  he  took  a  hiatus  after  the  birth  of  brooklyn.  the  role  of  jake  spoke  to  him,  solely  because  of  the  similiar  backstories  (without  the  shitty  baby  mama),  and  the  role  was  handed  to  him  on  a  silver  platter  by  the  casting  directors.

𝐢𝐢𝐢. 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

quick-witted  :  not  the  type  to  fully  grasp  a  joke  the  moment  it's  provided,  toby  is  still  able  to  make  his  two-cents  known  with  his  ability  to  be  quick  on  his  feet  when  the  topic  at  hand  is  to  his  understanding.  with  a  sarcastic  tongue  he  learned  from  best  friends  and  growing  up  in  the  industry,  he's  capable  of  making  a  few  zingers  without  having  to  hold  up  a  reputation  of  being  someone  that  is  always  on  the  ball  with  jokes.

emotional  :  not  to  be  confused  with  sensitivity,  toby  feels  every  emotion  to  the  max.  if  he's  sad,  he  will  make  sure  everyone  knows  by  shedding  a  tear  or  two,  and  is  known  to  scream  from  the  rooftops  when  something  positive  happens.  he  is  very  exaggerated  in  his  emotions,  no  matter  which  one  it  is,  however  his  sadness  teeters  the  line  over  to  depression  when  something  extremely  detrimental  happens  (such  as  being  out  for  a  whole  season  because  of  an  injury  he  worsened).

oblivious  :  more  than  likely  the  butt  end  of  a  joke,  toby  is  rarely  aware  of  what  is  going  on  around  him  and  is  oblivious  to  multiple  emotions  that  come  from  other  people.  it's  a  rarity  that  he  understands  when  someone  is  interested  in  him,  and  even  more  rare  for  him  to  accept  that  he's  loved  and  adored  by  people  he  doesn't  even  know.  there's  been  multiple  occasions  that  he  thinks  someone  is  asking  him  to  take  a  photo  for  them,  not  with  them.

charismatic  :  although  not  the  type  to  be  intelligent  in  any  means,  he's  charming  without  meaning  to  be.  with  a  smile  of  pearly  whites,  an  ability  to  stare  into  the  person's  eyes  without  moving  away,  having  a  listening  ear  and  always  wanting  to  do  the  right  thing,  he's  definitely  liked  by  many.  it's  just  a  bonus  that  he's  an  amazing  father.

Moulin Rouge Discotrain AU (part ten)

Summary: (Post-game canon) The Conductor and DJ Grooves agree to finally work on a movie together. They come up with 'Moulin Rouge', a musical drama filled with romance. Over time the two directors grow closer and discover that maybe they don't hate each other as much.

Author's notes: I wasn't going to post this up just yet but I feel like I shouldn't leave people on a cliffhanger with the sort of two part piece next. I now have another OC (the collection grows) so meet Cody!

Grooves fidgeted in his seat, unable to stop stressing.

Conductor rested a hand over one of his flippers.

"Quit it. Yer making me nervous too," the owl hissed.

The two of them had agreed to an interview with the press about their new movie.

They'd agreed to only talk to one interviewer, who would pose questions from fans and different news companies.

Which was why Grooves and Conductor were sat side by side, awaiting the questions that would be posed to them.

The cat that was acting as their interviewer seemed nice enough and excited to meet them. They had black fur like most of the Metro cats but had green eyes instead of the usual yellow.

"I'm sorry. I can't help it," Grooves replied.

"If it's about you being Christian then don't worry. You were the perfect choice for his role," Conductor comforted.

Grooves shot his companion a small smile.

"And we're going live in five, four, three, two, one-" the camera person counted the in.

"Hi, I'm Cody and I'm here today with esteemed directors The Conductor and DJ Grooves! We're going to be talking about their new collaborative movie Moulin Rouge," Cody started. "But first off, how are you two doing today?"

"Good," they replied in unison.

"So, what's it like working with each other? Cody asked. "Your infamous rivalry seems to have been pushed aside for this project."

"It's pretty fun actually," Grooves answered, looking over at Conductor.

"I don't know if we have a rivalry anymore, to be honest. This peck neck has actually been half decent. I can see myself workin' with him again sometime," Conductor admitted, looking over at Grooves as he said it.

Cody smiled as the two birds looked back over at them. "And what are your roles? It's well known you always play roles in your movies."

"I won't be starring," Conductor responded. "But Grooves here is going to be starring as one of the main characters. He's the perfect person I could've cast."

Grooves' breathing sped up, chest tightening again.

Cody's and Conductor's words faded into the background as he tried to keep his breathing even, tried to refocus.

But he couldn't. Grooves couldn't drag himself out of the pressure that he felt like drowning in.

What if he couldn't live up to Conductor's expectations?

He forced himself back into focus when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

The penguin looked over at the owl, who had a sympathetic look about him.

"Back with us?" Conductor asked gently, keeping his voice quiet enough that only Grooves could hear him.

"Yeah. Sorry. How much did I miss?" Grooves frowned, keeping his voice at an equal level.

"A bit but it's fine. You clearly weren't feelin' great. Don't worry about it," Conductor reassured, his thumb gently rubbing circles into Grooves' shoulder.

"What's happening now?"

"Advert break. We've got a few more minutes until the second half," Conductor explained.

Grooves sighed, closing his eyes behind his sunglasses.

"Or…we could just leave."

Grooves opened his eyes and looked at his friend.

"We can't do that. You worked so hard to get this interview on our terms," Grooves protested. "Connie, you can't-"

"But yer not happy. You did something for me when I was sad. So I owe you one," Conductor interrupted, standing and pulling Grooves up with him. "Come on. We can go the cinema. On me this time."

Grooves chuckled. "And what's the press going to think of the fact that we both ran off in the middle of an interview?"

"Peck it. I want to make you happy."

"Fine then."

"Let's go."

Conductor held onto Grooves' arm, dragging the penguin back to the room they'd left their things in.

"Oh, hey guys, do you need to go?" Cody asked.

"Yes. Urgent business, you know how it is," Conductor lied, picking up his satchel.

"Oh well, good luck! Can't wait to see the movie when it comes out." Cody offered a grin.

"Bye darling," Grooves said quickly before Conductor dragged him out the building.

"It's not like we have to go so fast," Grooves laughed as the two of them walked quickly down the street.

Conductor slowed down before coming to a stop. "Sorry."

"No, it's fine."

"It kind of works that we left. They're showing one of my movies and one of your movies back to back at the cinema," Conductor said, letting go of Grooves and walking slower down the street.

"You planned this, didn't you?" Grooves questioned, catching up to Conductor.

The owl stared down at the street as they walked.

"Perhaps. But I knew you probably wouldn't enjoy the interview. So I timed it that we would only have to be there for the first half then we could leave and go to the cinema," Conductor explained.

Grooves put a flipper on Conductor's shoulder, forcing the owl to stop.

His co-director looked up at him, jaw tensed.

"It's kind of you. Thanks Connie."

"Shut up peck neck."

Grooves snickered, picking up Conductor's hat off his head. "Very kind of you."

Conductor scowled up at him, swiping his hat back.

"Not kind."

Thoughts on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth [2 out of 2]

Refer to part 1 before reading please

The cast has seen improvements all around Brianna White’s Aerith was already an all time performance for the series and it being joined not only by Suzie Yeung’s Yuffie but also by John Eric Bentley’s Barrett was a great surprise and a huge glow up from Remake. It might be too early to tell but between the interview where they told her to tone down her acting because it was too good (her vomiting noises specifically) and the sheer strength of the cast this time around I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the performance of the year at The Game Awards later this year. As for Barrett the main factor is that Rebirth gave Bentley more to work with and he sure took advantage of it delivering a performance worthy of the nuance Barrett deserves. This is not to say the other performances where bad as Cody Christian, Britt Barton, Max Mittelman and Paul Tinto all did great jobs as Cloud, Tifa, Red XIII and Cait Sith respectively or the side characters like Caleb Pierce, Kayli Mills and Piper Reese all did fantastic jobs as Zack, Cissnei and Elena but we would be here for like 8 more paragraphs if I listed every performance[also wanted to drop here Matt Mercer and J Michael Tatum as Vincent and Cid to finish up the main cast].

Gameplay wise it plays like a faster version of what Remake was doing which is just an ATB version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII’s combat which is to say it plays really good, the game now includes way more commands and allows you to stack even more wacky materia to make your characters as customizable as you can without dropping what made them unique and letting you work with whatever party you vibe with the most (Aerith and Yuffie is the best party and I will die on this hill), the second most important gamemode is the exploration section of the game which unlike 7 Remake or 16 is very open while still filling condensed unlike 15’s huge vastness this one is closer in approach to the always reliable Witcher 3 open world zones but that doesn’t mean it drops the basics of the huge open world trend, like many of its kind Rebirth has the infamous Ubisoft towers, (which hot take but I enjoy in a checklist sort of way) some random busywork and the third gameplay pillar minigames which there are a lot, probably too many to talk about here without making this longer than it needs to (which it already kinda is) but one I do wanna talk about is Queen’s Blood as its questline was a great little distraction with bizarre analogue horror elements that I didn’t expect from the obligatory FF card game at all while also being a somewhat fun game with some interesting strategic depth.

From here on out I’m gonna talk about the ending so skip from here to the conclusion if you want to keep reading spoiler free but otherwise. [First off the second visit to the Golden Saucer is great fun, this time the “date” goes fantastic as you visit Loveless, a beautiful rhythm game and the story of a knight fighting darkness to save his beloved accompanied by some of the best music the game has to offer and topped with a musical performance by Aerith with her singing voice being provided by Loren Allred who performs a gorgeous ballad to close out a contender for moment of the year, and afterwards if you upped your relationship to your date enough you get one of the “intimate endings” which are little character moments between Cloud and whoever he is with that I hope will be revisited in the third game as they are just wonderful. Afterwards we get a slightly better version of the Cait Sith liar reveal during the Dio vs Don Corneo tournament and soon we are, sailing through the Meridian Ocean chasing the turks with the help of Vincent to arrive at the fortress of the ancients, where another moment of the year takes place in the trial, a small section where we essentially make everyone face their worst moments again so that they may be prepared for what comes ahead (special shoutout to Yuffie’s Intermission revisit, it felt crushing in all the right ways),in general things were shaping up great and we were wrapping the most ravishing bow to finish up the gift that was the middle of the VII series, but then suddenly a dog arrived and bit everything, that dog is called the temple of the ancients. That final push started strong with the isolation of Cloud trying to save Aerith from the grim fate she is predestined in the original game and surprisingly succeeding in saving Aerith from fake Sephiroth only for what I can only understand as a convergence of timelines to start happening and switching our Aerith into a different timeline while leaving us with a dead one from another but I will get into that in a second, then everyone is able to arrive and they see the dead Aerith which prompts the start of the bossfight, an interesting detail is that everyone but Cloud starts with their Limit as they are fighting to avenge their dead friend while Cloud still needs to build it up since he is fighting to restore her and prevent Sephiroth from fusing the timeline, in a bizarre way Zack is also there for a bit of the fight until he gets separated into another world again while still being attacked by Sephiroth, what is curious is that for brief moments (synergy attacks in this case) Cloud can join Zack as a sort of projection without entering this dimension fully as well as fighting Sephiroth now in a white void instead of the usual dark one that represents his subconscious even being joined by either the summation of Aerith across all timelines or just our Aerith now aware of her role in all of this to finish the story of Rebirth. At the end we see that everyone Aerith was killed by Sephiroth except for Cloud who is still communicating with her from the other dimension (if he was losing his mind we would have the static and not the rainbow) while everyone else mourns her loss. This leads to the ending cutscene where Cloud and Aerith go their separate ways to finish the story and frankly I kind of hate it, Remake already had a decently open ending that needed some input from the Ultimania (a book about the game that Square Enix releases like a month after the game) to fully get and now it feels like they just doubled down and made the Ultimania a required part of understanding what is going on since everything is just very speculative and borderline impossible to confirm as a thing that actually happened. Maybe it will fix it and an explanation will be available online for people that finished the game to look up but it's still an incredibly scummy way to sell us the Ultimania and a blight in what was otherwise an outstanding game.]

Bringing everything to an end, I really loved this game, despite my issues with some parts of it, it's good to see that like with Remake, VII can carry the franchise while the main series struggles to turn out greatness again. The sheer love that was put into it can be felt all around and the team deserves all the praise they are getting, iIt was a great experience and I can't wait for the final one in a few more years.

A few years ago, when I was attending comic con, one of the panels I went to watch was Teen Wolf. Yes I am that person. I will accept no criticism of this spectacularly craptastic show. Anyway this was later on in the series when Cody Christian was part of the cast. If you don't know Cody played a character named Theo who was awful and seriously messed up. Really a terrible person. But I say this because of something Cody said. I forget most of the context at this point, and I honestly can't even remember if he said it in the panel or one of the interviews from comic con that year, but he talked about how his view of Theo changed a lot when a fan came up to him and said about his character, "why should he apologize for the monster he became. No one apologized for making him that way." And it hit me the first time I heard it. After the recent episode of Kinnporsche and the VegasPete scenes, I remembered the quote again. Vegas is essentially Cody Christian's character. And Pete is that fan. He sees through the evil. He understands why Vegas is the way he is. He doesn't necessarily forgive him but he sees, understands, and gives him what no one else does, his sympathy. And it is changing Vegas in ways he never imagined.

Cody Christian- Comic Con 2015 Interview

A new season of Teen Wolf just aired so we're all at comic con. I'm sat in between my brother Dylan O'Brien and boyfriend Cody Christian. T-pos is next to Cody, Shelley is next to Dylan while Holland and Sprayberry are behind us. Cody places a hand over my leg using his thumb to rub my knee, everyone knows I still have bad anxiety when it comes to interviews

"You ok?" Cody asks me, I nod my head and smile at him

"Ok are you guys ready for the questions?" our interviewer asks

"Yeah!!!" Tyler shouts

"What do you love about comic-con?"

"Whenever I think about the best times of comic-con. I always think of this boat" T-pose says refuting to the boat we're sat on right now "it's like a vacation vibe here. It's so chill... and I love the boat" I chuckle at Tyler

"I actually met YN at comic-con" Cody says looking at me

"Oh my gosh you did!" Holland gasps

"Yeah I was filming for something else and we met in a green room. Then I auditioned for the show"

"That's wild" Tyler says with his eyebrows raised.

"How do you feel before a panel?"

"It's exciting" Tyler answers

"It used to be scary for me" Holland says "I get excited now"

"Yeah, it's exciting, but YN here struggles a little" Dylan pats my knee

"Yeah, the panel makes me want to throw up, I just hate talking in front of a huge group of people who have their opinions on me"

"But they all love you" Holland places a hand on my shoulder

"I get what you mean though. I still get nervous" Tyler says leaning forward to look at me.

"What does it mean to have your show at comic-con"

"It means a lot to me and for all of us, because it was the first thing we ever did as a cast together"

"It's a celebration for us as a cast. It's always been a family vacation. This is our sixth time here in a row" Dylan says looking at everyone

"That's insane" I breath out

"It means our show is till on the air"

"Yeah and people are still enjoying it" I say smiling.

We continue on with questions, Cody always having either his arm around me or his hand on my leg. We then move on to our next interview of the day.

We sit down. This time I'm sat in between Cody and Holland while my brother is sat next to her. Sprayberry, Shelley and Tyler are behind us. Cody has his arm around me and I’m leaning into him a little

"We're a few episodes into season five now, I’m starting to understand what’s happening a little bit” our interviewer Andy says

“Really? I got no idea” Dylan days making me laugh

“I think this has been our craziest season premiere” Tyler says and of course we all agree by nodding our heads

“It was almost like the season finale” I say trying to look at Tyler

“Oh it totally was” he responds

“Well one thing I know for sure is that you beat some ass in Eichen House. How much was that you and how much was that stunt double”

“YN basically did almost all of her own stunts” Dylan says for me

“Really?” Andy replies shocked

“Yeah. I mean Sofia isn’t a wolf so I didn’t have to act like one. I basically just pretended to hit”

“And get thrown into a wall” Cody points out

“How did that work?”

“I was basically on this zip-line type thing and I was just pulled back. The wall I hit was a fake wall so I didn’t really hurt myself” I reply

“And what about the rest of you?”

“I did strange combat in high school so I did most of my own stunts as well” Holland says really proud of herself

“I feel like Jeff is letting the girls really kick ass this season”

“Oh 100%. This season is girls season. Jeff and the creative writing team have always been.. open I guess to all of our idea. I’ve worked on other shows before and it’s a clear dynamic of boys and girls, but Jeff has created such an amazing environment, of course we’re lucky all of us get on, and there’s no divide. We’re all equal”

“You can definitely see the close bond of all of you guys on social media and during these interviews. Now we know Kira is a kitsune, Lydia is a banshee, Malia is a werecoyote, YN do we finally find out what you are this season. We know your super strong, but what are you?” everyone looks at me waiting for me to answer. I shrug my shoulders

“I don’t know, you’ll have to just carry on watching” Cody chuckles next to me

“Let’s talk about Theo, because he’s like a shady guy, I don’t trust him, I’ve seen pretty little liars so I know he’s got bloody in his fridge. He’s trying to earn everyone’s trust, Sofia we saw has started to trust him a bit, but how did you bond with the cast when you joined”

“Everyone here is so incredible. As soon as I joined I just got on with everyone. It’s literally a family here”

“You guys announced your relationship just as the season premiered, and we’ve seen Theo and Sofia getting close, is this a relationship blossoming?” Andy asks. I look at Cody who’s looking at me

“Errr, I’m scared to say to much” I laugh

“Theo and Sofia get on really well, but Theo is very much out for himself, but we will have to wait and see”

“Yeah we’ll go with that answer” I chuckle

“Will we see a super protective brother?”

“Oh 100% Stiles hated when Sofia had a crush on Derek. I think we will see some Dylan shine through Stiles”

“Are you protective of YN in real life”

“Definitely. We’re really close so like any big brother I want to make sure she’s safe and happy”

“Can we have anymore teasers?”

“There’s a lot more Eichen House coming up” Tyler says

“Sofia is pretty much pack mom” Sprayberry says laughing

“You keep them all in check”

“More or less, except when a certain someone comes around and Sofia is putty in there hands”

“Ooo there more than one villain, one of them you have kinda see before, but this time it looks different” Dylan says, I know he’s on about Void Sofia

“There’s a lot of stuff happing in the woods” Sprayberry says making us all laugh

“Well that’s all the time we have for today. Thank you to the cast of teen wolf” we finish the interview. We now have a small break before the comic con panel later.

{ FACECLAIM, AGE, GENDER, PRONOUNS } Is that FIRST NAME LAST NAME? A FRESHMAN OR SOPHOMORE originally from NEW HAMPSHIRE, they decided to come to Ogden College to study MAJOR on an ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP. They’re THE HOMEGROWN HERO on campus, but even they could get blamed for Greer’s disappearance.

ABOUT THIS SKELETON: People from all over gravitate to Ogden College. Including those who grew up nearby. THE HOMEGROWN HERO knew - if things worked out - it would be the place for them. And last year, when they visited for a weekend, a tennis recruit shadowing none other than THE GOLDEN GIRL, they set their sights on not only Ogden, but Greer. Being adored by everyone from their small town wasn’t enough. They wanted to get in with the most influential person they had ever met - Greer Morrison.

But no need for The Jerk Jock to worry !!! The Homegrown Hero may have the adoration of their hometown and all of campus but….at least he has THE GOLDEN GIRL on his side ?? Or he would. When they arrived on campus, THE HOMEGROWN HERO immediately set their eyes on THE FEMME FATALE - because every golden hero needs the perfect partner on his arm. Look at THE GOLDEN GIRL !!! She was never single.

If THE HOMEGROWN HERO was looking for someone to take them under their wing, THE SOCIAL BUTTERFLY was a good option, with their never ending connections across campus - since they can’t have THE GOLDEN GIRL, that is.

Well, THE GOLDEN GIRL may be have disappeared, but at least her very own brother, THE PROUD ELITE, swooped in to become buddies with THE HOMEGROWN HERO - he may not have exactly the same reputation, but it does the job !!!
