So y'all remember the concept art about Turbo's Hysteria look like this-

So a big changes, Turbo's Hysteria form is taller (kinda like 7 or 9 feet tall). However, Turbo wasn't the one who control it but the Hysteria itself. The design comes with an accurate details to the concept of Cybug Turbo as like the head that shapes like a crown, the claws, and the tail. Oh, and never forget the creepy grinning smile fella!

The Hysteria don't usually talk, but only comes from Turbo's mind, and yeah it confused him a lot.

It doesn't change the expression on their face, but trying to understand the emotions. They always love eating anything like objects, including a dead person. But there is one problem...

Yeah, if you see Turbo's Hysteria start eating weird things, just stop them. Ignore them would be okay (I guess???)

I wish the anime hadn't cut this part out. It really highlights how afo presented himself as a savior to those who felt lost during the dawn of quirks which was how he was able to get such a huge following.

we see him do that during present day too as we see how he exploits those, particularly children, who society forgot about by taking them in and caring for them so they'll remain grateful and loyal to him.

#something something about a41 presenting himself as a messiah I'll get into that in an ask #a41 did so well during the dawn of quirks because there were so many lost people who were looking for someone to bring order #which he then took advantage of #a41 works best when dealing with those who have nowhere to go and are struggling as they're easy for him to exploit #and a41 knows exactly how it feels to be forgotten by society and left to fend for himself with no hope so he just tells them what he wante #to hear as a kid so they'll latch onto him #tbh I wouldn't be surprised if machia had some sad meow meow backstory that caused him to fall for a41 so hard #anyways the point is it sucks the anime took this part out #don't even get me started about how they removed his coat when he was walking among his followers either 😑

so many meals can be bolstered by just throwing a handful of frozen spinach in there while you cook it. scrambled eggs? add some spinach. ramen? add some spinach. mac and cheese? add some spinach, baby!

#eliot posts #specifically i use a bag of frozen spinach so you can just dump some into the pot #the frozen blocks do NOT work for this purpose #unless you wanna add way too much spinach or go at the block with a gd icepick #and i prefer frozen to fresh bc fresh needs to be Kept Track Of or else it will go yucky in your fridge #frozen spinach is fine with being forgotten about for months #idk how much nutrition the spinach actually adds but it at least makes the meals FEEL less depressing #and prevents the dawning horror of ''dear god i cannot actually remember the last time i ate a vegetable'' from occurring #this is no longer a sad 30 cent brick of ramen in sad packet broth. now there is leaf! sometimes even egg/onion too! #i will still eat it directly out of the pot bc i am too depressed to clean a bowl tho.

Hi, do you know where I can find a pdf of the legacy of yangchen, I'm nearly done with the dawn of yangchen, but I cannot find a loy pdf ANYWHERE.

In other news, kavik&kalyaan and yangchen&jetsun make me mentally ill!! There's a line where jujinta is talking to kavik about how he can never forgive himself for the death of his brother, because “the person who could forgive me is not there anymore” and “some acts just cannot be forgiven” and I can't help but see the parallels in this story (and jujinta's character) betw. kavik, yangchen and their guilt over the loss of their older siblings. After the conversation kavik has with kalyaan (he's so funny btw), the fact that he blames himself for kalyaan losing his fingers in the blizzard and the hunts going bad which eventually leads to his family moving to bin-er and losing kalyaan in the first place; I really can't help but connect him with that phrase “some acts just cannot be forgiven” because he never forgave himself for the loss of kalyaan even though kalyaan very much CHOSE to abandon their family in order to work for henshe.

yangchen blames herself for jetsun's death in the spirit world, even though she was just a small child who couldn't control how her past lives affected her and jetsun would never be able to live with herself if she let yangchen die. It doesn't matter how much good she does, she can never forgive herself for her sister's death because “the person who could forgive me is not there anymore”

Jujinta also has the habit of asking forgiveness from the spirits whenever he does wrong (basically whenever he does his job), because his brothers is dead and he needs to find forgiveness SONEWHERE. I think it serves as a nice parallel to how yangchen hates how she has to too often rely on sneakier, morally questionable methods in order to do good, because she feels that she's disappointing jetsun by being this type of avatar. But the more good she does, the more people she helps, the more she is becoming the avatar jetsun saved, etc.

Sorry this is long and maybe inaccurate since I haven't entirely finished the book. But I really love your analysis of these novels and I wish more people read them.

yes! I absolutely endorse this reading, and honestly have nothing to add because I don’t really remember the details of the first book very well (it’s been a couple years since I read it, and I read the whole thing in a day). but I approve this message. also you definitely wouldn’t want to download the legacy of yangchen from z-lib or libgen, because that would be piracy, which is wrong. and if you do, you can’t consider me an accomplice to your egregious crime, because I was explicitly telling you what NOT to do. so there.
