My hot take: Fantasy Flight Games sucks at making game systems. They just buy popular IPs and throw their shitty engine at it and gloss it up in that IPs aethestic.

Playing a homebrew game where every day that the players spend with npc, the more likely they are to become corrupted. Their favorite reluctant grandpa was at 9% likelihood. I roll a d100.

Wow okay so I finished is3 ending 3, (actually as i write this im still playing out the stage BUT i killed the boss in like. 5 seconds because i got spinach, irene, and the 2 sp per attack for guards relic which. invalidated the whole stage) and it is... a very hard ending to actually get because of how it fucks over your light. Like i got lucky getting the dice upgrade relic but if you dont? youre probably looking at like at least 3-4 rejections and if you get a bad one and on even just one of the wrong operators you're GENUINELY fucked completely. I got the -50% to everything one and i somehow avoided it hitting anyone important which helped. But jeez even if i didn't hate this ending it just- it makes the light mechanic seem so fucking shitty?? Cause there's basically no ways for the player to reliably increase it because of the random nature at safe houses, and the increases you can get without ridiculous luck like having the lantern for the irene encounter cap out at FIFTEEN. When the ending 3 relic is -50 and with the other relic means you can LOSE 15 light on any stage if you're unlucky. And it sucks!

I promise I'll stop posting dice eventually, I just realized I never posted most of my Persona sets here so 😅 Descriptions under the read more! All are p5 except for the last two sets, which are 2 and 3 respectively. Also, I have an Etsy!! Some of these are in stock and I'm slowly remaking them all~ Enjoy
I'm going to go left->right for the first pic then the second, sorry if it's confusing!
Joker, Arsene - black opaque base with red flakes pressed along the outside, inked in white
Akiren - silver shimmering base with red metallic flakes mixed in, silver swirls along the outside, a thicker black swirl inside, inked in black
Joker, Satanael - clear base with black and red flakes mixed in, swirls of black along the outside, thicker red swirl inside, inked in white
Skull - yellow base with red and black flakes pressed along the outside, inked in white
Mona - blue flakes pressed against a half black and half white base, bright yellow numbers
Panther - a TON of red and pink flakes mixed together in a clear base, inked in pink (in stock!!)
Fox - clear base with white swirls and blue flakes mixed with white holographic flakes, a black swirl inside, inked in black
Queen - silver base with blue flakes pressed along the outside and black and grey swirls, inked in silver (I have an alt version that's lighter as well)
Oracle - green shimmering base with a faint glow in the dark green mixed in, green and black flakes mixed together, and swirls of a darker green on the exterior, inked in black (also in stock!)
Noir - pink and magenta flakes pressed onto a black base with a pink interference shimmer, inked in pink. I'm currently remaking these swapping the base to white and the numbers to black (pic at bottom)
Pleasant Boy/Detective Prince - white base with gold and red swirls on the outside, inked in white (in stock with both my old and new mold)
11/20 "Justice" - clear base with tendrils of red pushing through, gold and red flakes mixed in (petri pour, looks like blood seeping through)
Crow (post reveal) - dark blue flakes on a black and blue shimmering base, inked in a blood red
Lavenza - deep blue base beneath pressed silver, gold, and black flakes, inked in white (in stock)
Violet - red flakes pressed onto a clear base with silver flakes mixed in, each with a dark black swirl inside (in stock in my new mold)
2/2 "I Won't Fold" - clear base with red tendrils, black and gold flakes mixed in (same as 11/20 but swapping red for black flakes~)
Joker (P2) - pale white base with golden threads surrounding a single purple flower, inked in white then black (to prevent darkening the set)
XIII (P3) - a strip of yellow (similar to a certain scarf 💕) twists between a half black and white base, I ked in a deep blue
Phew that was a lot of descriptions. Ty for reading if you're still here 😂 I feel weird about posting my dice to Tumblr but also I guess it's like fanart?? Idk I'm just really proud of these sets and wanted to share. They're on my Instagram as well but there i mostly interact with dice people so hi persona fans <3 If anyone wants a set that isn't in stock I'm happy to remake them just message me here or etsy
Also here's the updated Noir ones =) I love the first set but it felt the weakest in terms of character to dice, I'm much happier with these and can't wait to ink the numbers in black

"City Honeycombed With Gambling Is Pastor's Statement," Windsor Record. February 17, 1913. Page 1. ---- Rev. F. W. Hollinrake, Methodist Clergyman, Adds That He Believes Police Know About It. ---- DECLARES SOME CIGAR STORES MERLLY BLUFFS ---- Alleged That Officers Tip Off Proprietors When "Chief is on the Beat" - Secret Spring Used. ---- "Windsor is honeycombed with gambling and I believe the police know about it." This was the concluding remark made by the Rev. F.. W. Hollinrake of the Central Methodist church at the Sunday evening service in discussing the gambling evil, which he states, exists in this city.
In his sermon he termed gambling a source of so-called pleasure for which the participants received no gain for what they paid. He termed the gambler a leach, a blood-sucker and a thief in every sense of the word and said although it was very hard to detect, it seemed to go on unmolested, with the proprietor pocketing his ill-gotten gains.
He read an article from a Toronto paper, in which in an interview a reporter of that paper had with the father of a young man who had been convicted and fined for being a common gambler, the man said that his son had got his start in a small cigar store or pool room opposite the paper office in Toronto.
"Change the towns and it sounds mighty like Windsor," remarked the pastor.
The interview further stated that in Toronto the pool rooms and cigar stores were the greatest offenders. Here again the pastor remarked it sounded like Windsor.
Police Powerless He stated that there were men in their graves today who would be living and following their regular line of occupation, were it not for these gambling joints. He said that in many homes in Windsor there were widows weeping, children going without clothing and fire all because the police could not stop the practice.
"I am told that there are places in this city where a man who has just received his weekly or fortnightly or monthly pay envelope and goes into it and when he comes out his money is gone. He is forced to go home to a broken-hearted wife and mother, waiting for this money to buy the children clothing, pay the grocery bill or pay the rent of the house that sheltered them.
"The proprietors of these places will ride to their beautiful home in their automobiles. There is no sign of want. The money that they асcumulate through the gambling curse should be going to help some family where the father has lost it by playing poker or some other game.
Are Gifts Received? "I have been informed that policemen go into cigar stores and ask for fifty cents worth of cigars, and after laying their money on the showcase, a bluff is made at the cash register and the money is handed back to them. These policemen, if they wanted to, could look through an open door and see the gambling tables and other paraphernalia in the rooms for the use of the gamblers, but they don't do it for some reason.
"Some places that sell cigars are merely bluffs. The amount of business they do would not give returns enough to pay the salary of the clerk who is employed. I am further informed that a policeman will be in one of these places and will say to the clerk or proprietor, 'Keep quiet tonight, the chief is on the beat.
"If I were to go around to one of these places a spring would be touch- ed behind the counter, and all the men would disappear into another room and the place would take on the appearance of a place in mourning."
Take Only Big Bets. The pastor told the congregation that in the city there existed places where books were kept where a man could go in and play any horse he liked at any of the different race tracks in the country. He referred to one as a rich man's place where the man with the little bet need not seek admittance. Only the man with a bet from $100 to $1000 need apply.
He stated that some of these places in their efforts to keep the game going, they went so far as to furnish lunches to the players, so that they would not have to go out to eat. An article from a Cleveland paper was read in which the chief of police of that city had ordered all gamblers out of the city and a large number of them moved away. Those who remained in the city were raided and all their tables and other devices. were broken up.
"Could not the chief of police in this city do the same?" asked the pastor.
Mr. Hollinrake stated that in the city at almost every cigar store, men were allowed to shake dice for cigars every day except Sunday. He was informed that one place was kept going on the Sabbath as well as week days. He told of a man who had conducted a place in Windsor for over fifteen years and had been raided only once. He said he was informed that some of the places were protected and the man who told him said the police force was "rotten".
Mr. Hollinrake said he asked the man, "What about the commission?" "They are the same," replied the man.
Distributes the Blame. He stated that he did not blame the police altogether, saying that if mothers and fathers of children children would stay at home and teach their children something about the way they should live instead of expecting a public or Sunday school teacher to do it, conditions could be bettered.
"In conclusion," he said, "let some of the clubs, societies and influential business men of the city be brave enough to start a movement to run these places out of the city and the police, maybe, will be brave enough do their duty. Back up the policeman in what he does while exercising his duties, and Windsor will not be honeycombed with gambling, which I believe it is."
Mr. Hollingrake stated he secured h's information from a man who had been in the gambling business but had reformed.

I read this bdsm story where the sub was told to roll some dice and the they'd have a reward of punishment based on the number rolled, right? Not that weird of a premise for this sort of thing.
EXCEPT they used two d6s! And I am too much of a tabletop gamer to let that shit slide.
That's not how you do it! You roll a d12 or something so that each possibility has a roughly equal likelyhood.
But 2d6 and 1d12 have completely different probability curves! Look, here's a meme:
Tumblr media
See? The punishment/reward most likely is gonna be the one at 7.
Although, I mean... I guess you could argue that this let's you weight the results? Like make 2 and 12 the biggest punishment/reward, so they only rarely roll, whereas smaller punishments/rewards around 7 are more likely.
But I don't know. It seems you'd want to explain that if you did.
Ugh. Another bdsm scenario ruined by unrealistic statistics.

Sukuna hates how petty you can get when you’re fighting.
There is a part of him that loves your stubbornness, sure, like when you huff at him and make him work for your affection, but right now, you’re on day three of the silent treatment, and he’s losing it.
You enter a room and he’s already in it, you leave. You’re talking to yuuji and he comes in, you stop talking immediately. You haven’t been staying the night anymore, and you haven’t given him a kiss goodbye any time you’ve left. Even his ma is questioning what he did wrong, and he can’t give her a concrete answer.
He’s losing it.
Hes spammed texted you, he’s been trapping you in rooms by leaning in the doorframe, he’s been trying to get yuuji to be his messenger, but nothings working. You’re not biting.
“You’re over complicating this,” yuuji shakes his head and thumbing through channels. “Literally just apologize.”
“At this point I don’t even know what I’m apologizing for!”
“Well they’re on their way over, thinking you’re going to apologize, so you’d better figure it out.”
“You’ve been an immense help, thank you, asshole.”
As if on cue, there’s a knock at the door, and when Sukuna takes a deep breath and answers it, you nearly spin on your heel to leave.
“Oh I don’t think so,” he snips, grabbing your hand and pulling you in the house and trying not to focus on how you’re not even fighting against him, and that’s how indifferent you are to him. “We’re talking. Like it.”
“Hey dawg!” Yuuji cheers, clicking off the tv and waving. You wave back, your streak of not talking in front of Sukuna continuing. The younger chuckles, “I’ll let the adults duke it out. See ya!”
The room fills with silence as yuuji leaves, making Sukuna immensely uncomfortable. The way you’re looking at him has him uncomfortable, you’re making him so uncomfortable, and he just wishes you’d toss your pride to the side and talk to him and cuss him out or something.
“You look… good.”
Nothing.
“I’ve missed you.”
Nada.
“I made out with someone else because I got sick of you ignoring me.”
You scowl at him.
“Okay, I was lying. I was hoping you’d cuss me out.”
No dice.
“You’re acting like a fucking child!” He takes a deep breath in to try and ground himself, and you merely watch him with a hurt expression.
Okay. That didn’t help his situation.
“Fucks sake,” he grumbles, making a move to guide you backwards. He’s got you backed into a wall, hands on your shoulders while your arms stay nonchalantly crossed.
“I don’t get why you’re so mad at me; what did I even do?” He snaps, leaning close to your face threateningly.
You blink unamused.
Oh.
You’re gonna speak alright. He’s gonna make sure of it.
“Speak.”
You merely look him up and down and turn your head.
“Talk! Now!”
You let a tired exhale through your nose pass.
“I said i was sorry, and i know you know that was hard for me, why am i still being punished by you?” It’s bait to make you mad and talk, he knows he hasn’t apologized to the most sincere of his ability, but he hasn’t done anything wrong.
“Maybe I’ll tickle ya, how about that?”
That, does, have your eyes widening but you still don’t spare him a breath. He smirks, “I’d bet you’d hate that, huh? Holding in all that laughter and begs for me to stop, knowing I’m not going to until you talk to me… and I’ll do it too. You know that.”
You merely cross your arms over your chest tighter.
He shrugs, “you asked for it.”
And he’s gotta say, he’s impressed with how little you’re fighting back from him scooping you in his arms and tossing you on the couch, straddling you, even taking your two wrists in his massive paw and holding them above your head. Your lips wobble in anticipation, and he’s got you booked now. “Any last words? A quick ‘I hate you,’ maybe?”
You blink, bored, almost calling his bluff, and he comes up to smack his face in frustration. He wasn’t actually bluffing, he did have full intentions of making you scream, but he was so sure you’d crack under his gaze, even a quick kick to him as he was adjusting your body.
No dice.
With a shrug, hands come down quickly to tickle the meat of your ribs, settling in the dips and scratching at the bones maddeningly. He sees your lip become wobblier, and he smirks down at you. “Nothing? Not even a giggle? You must be pissed at me.”
You screw your eyes shut to ignore him and he clicks his tongue, “now you can’t even look at me? That sucks.”
He leans down to nibble at your neck and ear, whispering little words against your skin to make you squeak. But it isn’t until he cheats and uses his mouth to blow a raspberry on your sensitive neck, an area he’s so used to pressing loving kisses to, that you finally crack.
“YOURE SO CHEAP!” You scream, followed by a flurry of laughter and struggling from his tight hold. Your laugh is whiny and desperate, feet digging into the couch while his fingers merely slither up and under your arms.
He smirks against your skin, “gotcha.”
“Fuck off!” You squeal, tugging as hard as you can in his grasp. “Stohop it!”
“Are you gonna keep ignoring me?” He asks. You shake your head back and forth, but he cocks a brow. “Is that a no? Are we going to talk about your issues with me, or am I going to have to tickle you for the next few hours?”
“HOURS?!” You howl.
He shrugs, “you ignored me for three days, least I deserve is to tickle you until you sob.”
“I wasn’t-“ you’re cut off by a flurry of your own giggles. “This isn’t-“ a few more yowls of your laughter when he digs in more. “FUCK OFF!”
“Nah,” he snickers. “This is more fun.” He does, however, stop his torment and pulls back, but he does look down at you impatiently. “Speak,” he echos from earlier.
You let out a few more titters slip past your lips, but you do sober up slightly, “you don’t even care that I was mad at you.”
“Uh, I was about to tickle you until you died, I think I cared too much-“
“No, Sukuna. You just didn’t want me to be mad. You never apologized and you never even bothered to try and make it better…”
This, oddly, has Sukuna’s heart twisting, squeezed with emotions and realization that he did mess up, pride couldn’t save him now and if he wanted to fix this, he’d have to prove it.
He sighs in truce, “I’m sorry, babe.”
“….”
“What?”
“That’s it?”
He rolls his eyes, “what else do you want me to say?”
“I want you to care that I was hurt!” You whine, raising on your elbows. “I want you to understand I was hurt, that you messed up! Not be so prideful and not admit it!”
“Alright, alright, jeez,” he groans. He locks eyes with you, and he knows you’re not going to like it, but he leans down to kiss you, using his two hands to cup your jaw, letting his thumbs stroke your bone lovingly. “I’m sorry. It must’ve sucked having to deal with my shitty ass apologies before. I never should’ve pulled that shit, and I hated not having you by my side.”
This, has you softening.
He presses another kiss to you, “I missed your laughter. I missed you scolding me. I missed you being sarcastic… don’t pull that silent treatment shit again, will ya?”
You hum happily, “don’t piss me off and I won’t have to.”
He blinks unamused, and as the thought of tickling you again crosses his mind, you lean up to kiss his lips giggling softly in the warmth. “I’m kidding. You and I both know you’re not going to stop pissing me off.”
“Love when you answer your own demands,” he chuckles.
The tightness in his soul loosens as you submit to his affections, and he does make a mental note to never piss you off so bad again where you go back to happy to never talk to him again. He hates it more than even he knows, drags him down and he feels like he’s missing a crucial part of himself.
But it is good to know he can get you back out of that funk.
