I don't yet. When I finish up my re-read, I'm going to gather ALL of the DOTC cats and start dividing them up into the three cultural groups. After getting them all in bundles, I'm going to whip them up into proper family trees.

If you're asking about canon's family tree... I can make it if you'd like, but I'd just be showing you the ticking timebomb of genetic diversity they set up for themselves. It's all Quiet Rainkin and random forest cats, most introduced after book 3. None of the other settlers had grandchildren and the living children have no mates.

Lightning Tail died and Acorn Fur was forced into a vow of chastity

None of Turtle Tail's kits have kits; one is in a vow of chastity

There's nothing to "preserve" about the canon tree, unfortunately. It's not really a "tree," it's more like a couple of bubbles with a ton of dead women floating around outside.

So... bottom line is, something like 50% of births were coming out of the Quiet Rainkin family, and they account for something like 30% of cats with existing family at all.

Personally, I think that's awful in a prequel arc that's supposed to be about ancestors. So I'm going to be making whole families for BB.

Dog!mountain hc’s let’s go

- Will. Sleep. Anywhere. Laundry baskets, boxes, on top of bags of soil, and even in the wheelbarrow. In the summer he’ll just nap on the kitchen floor tiles - the ghouls have to be careful not to trip over him.

- ‘if I fits I sits’ very much applies to him. Will curl as small as possible to fit anywhere. Any empty lap is free game. Is especially amusing when he tries to crawl into copias lap while he’s working: often times though, he’ll sit at his feet under the desk.

- Surprisingly food motivated. Can be swayed by someone saying “I’ll get you a snack if you…” It works everytime.

- Belly rubs are The Shit. You scratch him behind the ears though, and he’s putty in your hands.

- Will play fetch, but only when he’s really restless.

- HATES bathtime but will happily jump into a freezing lake. (Will also shake himself dry, mainly to annoy whoevers standing closest)

- Steals peoples belongings for attention. If he thinks Copias been working too much, he’ll straight up walk into the office, steal the shoes off his feet/his pen/or whatever is easiest before scampering away. Copia pretends to hate it, but loves the distraction.

- You thought Dew was bad for chewing stuff? Mountain has special drumsticks he can’t destroy instantly (it’s a comfort thing). Cumulus gave him one of those chewing necklaces when the urge gets too bad - other times he will sit and gnaw on someone’s arm.
