I'M SO HAPPY

so, last dnd session, it was finally revealed that Diego (my character) is the infamous masked killer that wears a golden mask, the Harlequin of Arca.

I've been trying to hide this reveal from the other players for a year, but finally he revealed his secret identity to the others when things got really ugly. I'm really excited to be able to share more info about him!!!

He's been operating as the Harlequin for over a decade, approx. His main targets are usually nobles from the good part of the capital (Arca Alta), and he only kills for money, meaning someone has to hire his services first. He hasn't had any contracts in the last few months, and when strange, magic-burned bodies started showing up near the port on the lower part of the city, people thought it was the Harlequin's doing.

the last straw was when someone tried to kill the current head of the Empire, and fingers were pointed at the Harlequin again. Frustrated, he decided to leave a message to the people, hanging a scarecrow fashioned after a corpse, with a note stating his innocence.

last session, the other party members were being accused of being involved with the Harlequin, so Diego had to intervene. We left the session at a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next!!!!!!

I do!

Part of the reason Diego is so brutal and has such showmanship of it is because if everyone focuses on him, then no one is paying attention to Hunter

He fell in love with Harriet the moment he met her. Someone had tried to kill CJ and she killed them instead. It was the day he devoted his life to her

He hates the feeling of blood on him. He often dissociates in the aftermath of his work due to this

He's afraid to get too close to Anthony. He doesn't want to taint him more than he already is

If he was ever to chose between his family and his partners, he isn't sure who he would chose

Him and Sammy get along surprisingly well considering Diego has a tendency to rile up Harriet. (It's cause he also has a calming effect on her)

At least once a month until Carlos went to Auradon, Diego would ask Carlos to move out of Hell Hall. Carlos didn't have to go to the docks with him or Ivy, he could go stay with Hunter, but staying at Hell Hall was going to kill him. And Carlos's death would've broken Diego

The closest Diego came to death was due to Cruella. He was 11 and it took a 5 hour emergency surgery to stabilize him

Anyways lore thats been spinning around in my head that i havent talked about

Topher and Gandhi are both 41, married for 6 Years.

Topher is a Marine Biologiest who also owns an Italian restaurant called, "Mr.Italy himself".Often travels for business and does what he can to bring her family with him. Owns a boat

Gandhi works as a dance instructor, but also makes/sells his own music(with the help of Topher of course) and works at a trampoline park.

Bianca(12) is Topher and Gandhis daughter (usually an only child,but sometimes i like to add Diego to the mix) Deals with the paranormal watching over her back(typically her grandparents, or her parents dead classmates) Shes highly chaotic with a short temper. Known as a bubbly yet weird kid. A lot on her mind and cant stand to be alone, similar to her mother.

Diego(4) is the occasinally added little brother of Bianca. Quiet, awkward,and a bit of a book worm. Mostly just offers to help and follows his mom around. Very kind hearted and gentle once comfortable around people.

Meet the Encanto Bullies

From this comic

All three of these guys are childhood friends of Chepe. They all bullied together when they were younger haha.

Diego (gunpowder's OC)

He and his parents work on the Velasco farm and that's how he met Chepe. When he was 6, he was struck by Pepa's lightning🌩️ (she would be 5, so at that point I don't think she can control her powers well), scarring his back and turning his hair white. Due to that, he and his parents grew to dislike the Madrigals very much and often gossiped about them. He is the main influencer for Chepe's behavior and he is one of the many reasons why Chepe hides his orientation. He is a terrible homophobe. He and Chepe will always compete on who is the leader of the group. Together they are such asses, but they respect each other.

As an adult, Diego will have 5 daughters and he will still communicate with Chepe but won't socialize in bars or events as much because he will be devoting his time to his wife with the children. His wife will have a serious illness, which Juliet will not be able to cure completely (just as she cannot help Briana), so his wife will always be not in the best condition but will still live.

Now Oscar and Cesar are cousins. Both of them live more in the inner parts of the town. Oscar's family are grocers and Cesar's are Textile makers.

Oscar's family are devoted Catholics and has their son and daughter volunteer at the church. Particularly for Oscar in hopes to put him in a righteous path and to mend his behavior. People think it's his younger cousin that is the bigger bully, but in reality he is. Despite, Oscar calm and and sleepy demeanor, he uses that to his advantage to manipulate people. He always wears a leather hat given to him by his grandpa. He loves cowboys and the stories his grandpa tells him of Mexico and the Wild West of North America.

Cesar is stout and probably the strongest out of the group. He spends a lot of his time helping out his family, lifting the heavy fabric and dyes. He and his cousin will always dress in bright colors. He is easily influenced by his older cousin, and unfortunately sometimes the one who takes the blame for his cousin's misbehaving. It might be because of his resting mean face.
