Synastry observations based on personal experience, part 4:

Mars/venus first house overlay: gets a bad reputation, because people feel like this overlay is ‘superficial’ due to the fact that the first house signifies what people show of their personality to the outside, aka their ‘looks’ and also their physical appearance. They forget that what you externalise in the house of the externalised ego is you, your ego. That’s you! Your ego is a very deep and important thing about you. For some people it’s a more important than for others of course. The way you dress, laugh, look and walk and look, that *is* a deep aspect about your personality. Like those things *are* personal. For some people like mars or venus dominant people it’s the ideal placement, because this is a fiery placement keeps people from being ~bored~ with who the other is, which often happens in a bad marriage. It’s why this aspect is called thee great aspect for marriage. It’s great!

Venus opposite saturn: does not pose as big of an issue if the people have either venus in 10th house or saturn in 7th house natally. There is more acceptance, understanding and ‘seeing things the other way’ that way. It can also manifest in the honeymoon stage just being enlonged and the problems showing up later.. with the ‘honeymoon stage’ in this aspect I mean that this bond feels pretty karmic and paternalistic and awesome in the beginning, in a way that feels super attractive, safe and interesting to the venus person who’s in awe of saturn, and super intense, fulfilling and a little anxiety inducing for the saturn person involved, who enjoys venus’s quirks and air for themselves so much that they become against it and will call them things like ‘childish’ as time goes on. This doesn’t happen if there’s good trust and communication in the relationship. Most often the ‘emotional pain’ that is seen as inevitable with some synastry aspects according to some people, are only inevitable for people who really don’t know how to deal with other people in relationships. You’ll be alright when you have some supporting aspects to this.

Mars-lilith: mars and lilith have a lot in common: they are independent, sexual, feisty and go after their own fleeting pleasures. Only mars isn’t a social pariah, stays on earth and lilith is so she’s up in the air like a bird. Lilith, as the outcast, is someone who wants to impress mars to prove something to herself. Mars is someone wants to dominate lilith, to prove something to himself and also to her. You can see they have a lot of natural (sexual) chemistry but they’re sh*t for the long term lol. Mars is still part of the ‘ordinary world’ and lilith is still traumatized by that world. In harsher aspects, the empathy towards each other will be non existent. The same can even go for sympathy between the two. Also, the ‘colour’ of this union will of course depend on the signs they are in.

Moon conjunct jupiter: Why does my pisces moon have immediate soulmate-like crushes on men born in 1962/63? Oh, that’s why. I’ve had it the other way around too and I’ve seen a lovely couple with this, but I feel like this definetely gets exalted in pisces. Jupiter ~loves~ the moon person. Moon person’s entire emotional/private self fuels and twinflames jupiter person’s entire inspirational and idealistic self. The moon person feels safe while still feeling inspired and adventarous with the jupiter person. Jupiter basically adores the moon, and even that gets expanded due to the expansive and almost indulgent nature of this aspect. The moon person wants to be with jupiter. They feel their emotional self inspired and exalted when they are with them and it can be for some (for me) a very rare feeling of being so comfortable and happily understood and inspired by the other. I’ve always found this one of the best relationship aspects you can have, for me at least it’s the best because with my scorpio sun pisces moon and sag rising, that optimistic jupiternan energy on my most vulnurable side is exactly what I’m looking for.

Mars conjunct chiron: the only sexual aspect that will make a man want to marry his female partner.

Sun/venus/mercury fifth house overlay: ever had that feeling of ‘ooh this person is going to be here, now this occasion is worth it/interesting/~a party~’ and you almost saw it as like a crush? Did it feel a little juvenile? That’s this one.

Mars fifth house or in that mix^: oh and you do have a crush on this person, highly likely. Are you going ‘oh my god, oh my god, it’s him/her’ when he arrives in like an almost funny and very juvinile way? That’s this one. Okay so now I’m taking a girl reading this as the norm, but for a guy that crush would happen with venus added in the fifth house. This/these overlay(s) cause butterflies and first love vibes for the house person, giggling like a teenager and thinking the planet person is soo cool and fun and attractive. The planet person releases their inhibitions around the house person and becomes leo-esque, like the party version or radio-edition of themselves.

Saturn conjunct an angle: weirdly enough, this aspect is not much talked about on the internet but I assume that is because people don’t have a lot to add to this one. I do. I believe this aspect can be extremely significant in reading a synastry chart romantically. So, to begin with I feel like this aspect, like a lot in synastry, plays out differently irl based on the genders of the people involved. What I’ve found is that saturn conjunct an angle in heterosexual relationships, where the guy is saturn and the angle person is a girl, the guy is easily bound to fall in love with the angle girl. This is because saturn imposes their mix of care, ownership, restriction responsibility, security, dedication, reality, commitment and karma on your angle which basically stands for a fundamental part slash pillar of your existence. Aka, this aspect is a patriarchal wet dream. The hero-instinct is immensly triggered here. This guy’s (who I also had a pretty large age gap with for our early twenties) saturn was tightly conjunct my IC, the most vulnerable angle, standing for my fourth house of the home and, using other astrologer’s phrasing, where ‘my soul is seated’. We were not together yet, but would unsolicited go “yeah, that’s important that you do that” and after some inquiring about anything “be careful that you don’t” blabla like it mattered to him. The vibe was very much like he could say “look, as your husband” and me reacting like “excuse me??” Same guy also had his saturn tightly conjunct my even younger friend’s ASC and it’s like he picked her to be like his little sister! even though they didn’t know each other that well. He would be very protective of her (although i think he could have done more, but that’s another story) and hype her up whenever she walked into a room, it was very cute. Conjuncting DSC I’d imagine it would play out like saturn worrying about the people DSC hangs out with and feeling a sense of dictatorship(?) over her social angle and who she’s seeking love from. Brooding protectiveness over the fact that DSC has been going out again with many guys who may not be up to good. Like I said, this aspect is the patriarchal wet dream. Conjuncting MC it would be exactly like jiwoo and sungmin from Age of Yourh. Making sure he’s right behind her in her goals at all times to protect her, almost like a cynical bodyguard, but somehow equal-ish partners that compliment each other. Back to saturn conjunct IC, the IC is the ingebakken way of managing things and the way you close your eyes for rest. Saturn conjuncting this part of you is like them barging into your house and giving you pills while you’re, like, there in your underwear. This angle aspect does create a deep kind of bond I’d guess. It’s still lunar! With the AC I think it’s the physical air and appearance that someone gives off that makes saturn think that they’re smol and need guidance. This is what I imagine a first impression would be like! Not getting into the relationship itself but like, you could guess. I’d say the ASC and MC conjunction will flourish as platonic and be doomed when it gets romantic and the DSC and IC conjunction will flourish as romantic and be doomed as platonic. In the right kind of relationship these conjunctions can be like ‘ahww’ and wholesome but in the wrong kind of relationship, these conjunctions could cause a major, and I can’t describe this any other way, ‘f*ck of!!!’ 😂

Moon trine mercury: I call this the best friend aspect because I’ve shared this aspect with every friend I could talk with for hours and enjoy it. Even if you don’t share the same kind of humor you can still laugh and communicate and basically enjoy each other’s brain ! I like this aspect in romantic relationships, too, because this aspect kills the potential awkward silence and it adds that green flag communication with e/o when official. This isn’t like the conjunction were the two bodies are so bang on alike that it becomes like a battle between the one person’s mind and the one person’s emotions. There is a harmonious distance that actually brings the people closer together and creates that intimacy. With the trine you constantly greatly appreciate what the other person adds to the table. This is communication that flows non-verbally as well, like through touches and looks.

Moon opposite mars: chrissttt, not to be vulgar but you both know you just want to.. do the deed together 💀 almost as if after 10 mins of talking you’ve already decided that in your head

Mars sextile moon/venus I feel like the energy that flows through the trine causes sexual arousal and through the sextile it causes a very wholesome emotional arousal. Great aspect no matter which gender.

Chiron conjunct sun: get ready to get your feelings hurt if you’re the chiron person! Well, the way this feels is actually: the sun person will just be hitting you where you’re vulnurable but most likely you’ll like it and feel almost soothed, even. I’ve had this both ways. It’s a great and genuine aspect to have.

• No one wanted her on their crew, both out of fear of what it could lead to from her father and doubts about her abilities. Assuming she must be a spoiled brat with her ego inflated-

• And truth be told- Vivian was terrible with money... horrible infact- She went broke in less then a month and with bleeding pockets didn't know where to turn-

• Till she stumbled on a old acquaintance- non other then her former childhood crush Dracule Alucare- He had recognized her immediately and bought her a meal. The two talking and agreeing to temporarily join together- Especially since

• Both their navigation skills were lacking however and it didn't take long to find trouble again- This time by Alucares old 'Ex' who thoroughly beat his ass {Literally} and took the ship captive.

• Knowing if both of them were captured it would lead to trouble, so Vi being small enough to take cover on the ship and watched Alucare get taken. Knowing he wouldn't be killed off that quickly especially since Lyra seemed to have a vendetta against him and wanted to prolong it.

• So once sure the coast was clear she set off to rescue Alucare and make sure they didn't get killed.

• Weeding through the security to make sure it was light for the escape. She met up with Alucare and a grew of blue haired twins- Later learning they were The Buggy Twins.. Which sounded familiar but she didn't want to think too much on it.

• The teenagers managing a narrow escape from the Marines and setting off to the sea- truthfully without a true plan and only wanting to save their own asses-

• "Where is my Bounty?!" She said screamed looking over the stack of new wanted posters that had been delivered- it had been a week since the Marine Ship incident and Vivian didnt see a wanted poster for herself anywere! Groaning into the table as she felt the papers being yanked from her hands.

Alucare looking over the posters and snorting a laugh. She glared at her peer as he stared at her..

• Despite all of this, Vivian is probably the best marksman of this era- A true devil in her craft as she can hit any target bullseye. The Marines hadn't forgotten her nor her abilties on the navel ship being forgotten... as it seemed the reason the ship seemed to quiet was that the Marines later found 63 men with perfect bullet holes in their forehead well stashed away on the ship.

You felt like a monster, a monster made by Wesker's design. When he took you in he thought you were special. He forced you to be a partner in his schemes.

What did you get for complying? You got to be an experiment for Wesker who treated you coldly the entire time. Only when your blood was coursing with his Uroboros Virus did he show any sort of care towards you.

Even then, that was only because you showed results.

You showed great results. The only reason Wesker began to warm up to you was because you were so similar to him. You became a powerhouse with the virus... yet your strength wasn't quite the same. It was enough to make Wesker happy.

You were enough to earn his praise for being a god-like being suited for him. He praises you because he had a feeling you'd be the perfect person to rule by his side. Natural selection has chosen you to stay in his perfect world...

Which means you are perfect for Wesker and his massive ego.

The methodical man slowly became less cold towards you. After all, his theories were proven true. You are worthy of his attention compared to people like Excella, who was rejected by the virus.

Wesker began to talk to you, from one godly being to another. He could still overpower you with injections and strength but you were similar enough. He always expressed how much he was proud your genetics worked with the virus.

He even spoke of partnership. Not your typical business partnership... another partnership. Something more... intimate.

Wesker is a "man" who disgusts you. He takes you away from the ones you love, he makes you a monster, and what does he suggest afterwards? To be romantically involved with him.

Unfortunately you are in no position to decline.

"You're my everything...." Wesker murmurs against your skin, strong hands holding you still on his lap. His teeth attack your skin like an animal and you try to ignore him. Wesker then laps at the wound he's created, chuckling at your squirming.

"No one else has been able to bond to the virus like you and me..." Wesker hums, wrapping a hand around yours. "You're made for me. Which is why I've chosen to give you all this attention. You were always meant to be mine."

You say nothing, hoping to make him lay off by laying into him. Wesker turns you so you look into his glowing eyes. Eyes that look too similar to yours now....

You weren't able to hide your tears from him it seems.

Wesker clicks his tongue at your tears, using a glove to wipe your eyes. You look away but he forces you to look back at him. For a selfish man... he was strangely obsessive about you.

Was it really because you were a successful experiment?

"You're crying... come a little closer, I'll make it all go away." Wesker sighs in an attempt to be comforting. You're quickly met with a kiss on the lips as he drags his gloves down your back. Despite what seems to be his attempts to comfort you he's still focused on his own desires.

"What are you thinking about?" He pulls away to ask you. There's no point in answering though as your gaze says it all. Even now you still think of those you love.

"Dear... they're beneath you." Wesker says bitterly, holding your chin to keep you from looking away again. "You're so much stronger than them. You're more worthy of me than them!"

"I loved them...." You sigh sadly, only causing Wesker's grip to tighten.

"They never loved you. Only I love you!" Wesker grunts, correcting you before kissing your cheek. "They could never compare to us. We're perfect beings."

Wesker then moves a hand to your thigh, grinning.

"We deserve only the best. We deserve only each other. Everyone else will kneel to perfection... don't think of them..."

Wesker then nips at your cheek, glowing eyes searching for a reaction from you. When he gets a gasping flinch from you he chuckles. Was he playing with you?

"Only think of me, understood?"

You attempt to stifle your tears and sobs long enough to face Wesker. He waits eagerly for your reply, moving his hands back to your hips. The silence in deafening until you finally bite the bullet.

"Understood...."

With that, Wesker rubs circles on your sides with a smug hum.

"Good..." He praises once again like you're still a pet to him."I only need you to focus on me, not worthless scum."

With that, Wesker continues his indulgence of you. You comply to him only because there is no other choice with you now. Far as you know... everyone you once knew is dead by now due to the virus.

Wesker is the only one who will care for you now, maybe in the end he's right?

Autistic individuals are easily susceptible to bullying and they’re bullied almost three times as often as neurotypical individuals.

According to the 2012 IAN (Interactive Autism Network) research report, a total of 63% of 1,167 autistic children, ages 6 to 15, had been bullied at some point in their lives.

What makes dealing with bullying so difficult for autistic individuals is that they might not realize it’s happening to them. Some autistic individuals may not understand body language, tone, or sarcasm. They may take bullying comments literally or even think a kid who’s bullying them is actually just teasing them in a benign way. They also may misunderstand what a good friendship looks like and be taken advantage of and treated poorly. Some autistic individuals tend to have difficulty standing up for themselves something which will undoubtedly make them an easier target for bullies and some are also high empathy and it is easier to reduce to tears which make them the ideal victim for an ego-fueled bully.

A study from the Interactive Autism Network found that the three most common ways autistic individuals were bullied were verbal, such as being teased or picked on; being ignored or left out; and being called bad names. Almost a third of autistic individuals have also been victims of physical bullying.

Any person who is repeatedly bullied will undoubtedly develop insecurities, low self-esteem, and the feelings of stress and anxiety they develop in response to being tormented may make them avoid social situations. It can also cause them to become withdrawn and depressed.

Randi Weingarten said, ‘You can’t be against bullying without actually doing something about it’, and although my hope is that you can stop your autistic individual from being bullied, don’t be afraid to advocate and drastic change if needed to help.

This is new, Maverick thinks, when Ice approaches him after the post-mission debriefing with a face etched from stone and his eyes pale and cold.

For all his namesake, the Iceman is not actually made of ice. Maverick’s always been aware of this, even when Ice would give him bland, cool looks back in TOPGUN like Maverick was no better than a swatch of gum beneath his shoe. No—Ice has always blazed under there, especially nose-to-nose with Maverick, all competitive fire and colossal ego tempered only by the iron fist he has around his composure.

It’s a skill thing, that callsign of his. It’s Ice’s irreproachability in the air, his marble-wrought patience and crystal-cold perfectionism. Hard edges, sharp lines, every piece of the puzzle slotted together with laser-cut precision.

But it’s a whole different ball game, on the ground. On the ground, Ice bends when Maverick least expects it; yields when Maverick most needs it. Those razor-sharp lines become pliant and hazy. Despite everything, Maverick doesn’t think Ice has ever truly been angry with him. Has never really seen him angry, at all. 

Until now, anyway.

Ice approaches, and Ice doesn’t stop approaching, shoving right up into Maverick’s face and bullying him against the bulkhead with his height alone. “What the hell was that?”

“The hell was what?” says Maverick, glancing around. The passageway is claustrophobically tight, overflowing with exposed ductwork and pipes. They’re the only ones here right now, but from experience he knows it won’t be for long.

“Don’t bullshit me,” Ice snarls. “What were you thinking? That stunt you pulled—”

“It was a calculated risk,” says Maverick.

Ice’s eyes flash under the overhead light, the color of an overcast winter sky. “Calculated risk, my ass. It was stupid as shit and you know it.”

“You’re welcome, by the way,” says Maverick. “If I hadn’t done that—”

“I didn’t ask you to!”

“Well too fucking bad!” Maverick’s jaw snaps shut. His voice rings in the meager space, acrid and caught. He hisses between his teeth. Lowers the register. “You can’t stop me from making decisions like that, Ice. You won’t ever stop me.”

Ice’s upper lip curls. “You really think you’re invincible.”

“I told you, it was a calculated risk,” says Maverick. He raises his chin. “Besides, it worked. Got you out of radar lock, and we’re both back on deck. We’re both safe.”

Ice stares at him. Fury strings his entire body taut. His shoulders are rigid as a board, his handsome face an effigy carved into a mountain. 

“You put your RIO in danger,” he says.

“Merlin was on board,” Maverick fires back. “Besides, we all know the risks.”

“That’s right,” says Ice, deathly cold. “We do.”

“For God’s sake, Kazansky.” Frustration pounds in Maverick’s temples. He jabs a finger directly into Ice’s name tape, just above his heart. “What the hell’s your problem? Like it or not, I saved your ass. Just fucking accept it.”

Ice knocks his hand away. The USNA ring stings Maverick’s knuckles. “I won’t,” he bites out. “Not like this. Never like this. I would’ve been fine. Slider would’ve been fine. We could’ve handled it. As far as I’m concerned, you fucking panicked.”

“So what if I did?” Maverick snaps. “So what? What did you expect? I’m not you; I’m not called Iceman. I saw you in trouble and I did something about it. Fuck me for giving a shit, am I right?”

“And you think I don’t?” says Ice, knife-sharp, brittle as glass. “You think I can watch you risk your neck—for me, because of me—and just—what, exactly? Shrug it off? Move on with my day?” He laughs bitterly. “Is that what you really think of me?”

Regret slams into Maverick like a freight train, abrupt and staggering. “No,” he says. The air turns viscous in his lungs. “No, Ice.”

Ice grabs him, his fingers clamping hard around his biceps, trapping Maverick where he stands. His hands are shaking. Not from fury, Maverick realizes now, but from fear. “You’re not alone anymore, Maverick,” he says. His voice cracks halfway. “You’re not the only one with skin in the game. Never do that to me again.”

“Ice,” Maverick says again. He sags against the pipe at his back. Remembers, distantly, Ice’s voice over the comms, fuzzy with static but the alarm unmistakable, Slider shouting in the background. Remembers how his head went light with terror, with blinding panic—the icy fingers that slithered down his spine, slipped ruthlessly between his ribs at the very thought—the very possibility—

And then he thinks of Ice, watching Maverick swoop in like a fucking hero. Swoop in like Maverick had a fucking death wish, like Maverick was ready to leave the whole world behind. Leave Ice behind.

“Fine,” he says. He gathers himself. Exhales unsteadily, throat tight. “Fine. But only if you promise me the same.”

Because Maverick can’t lose Ice, either. He can’t. Not after—not when—

Ice is too close; close enough that Maverick can see the blue flecks in his eyes, the way his gaze flicks over Maverick’s face like he’s searching for something. The distant hiss and boom of a catapult above them rattles the overhead. Voices resound from an adjacent passageway, commingling with the clang of boots on metal floor grates.

This is dangerous. They shouldn’t be doing this, not here. Ice knows this better than anyone—is so scrupulous about it that it actually pisses Maverick off, sometimes, even though he knows, even though he understands. 

“Okay,” Ice says at last. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath. Then another. This time, his shoulders relax. “Okay, Mav.”

But he doesn’t pull away. His fingers dig bruises into Maverick’s arms.

“You should let go,” says Maverick quietly.

Ice’s grip only tightens further. He raises his head, sweeps a look around. Then he leans in.

Maverick’s eyelids flutter as their lips meet. It’s too chaste, too quick. Not enough. Not ever fucking enough. He surges up on his toes, fists his own hands into the front of Ice’s flight suit. Manages to deepen the kiss for only a moment before Ice breaks it off.

Their breaths intermingle. Ice cups his neck, his hand warm and protective. There’s still a hint of strain around his eyes, a touch of tension rippling through his forearm—but his hold is gentle. Maverick aches, fiercely. When Ice finally releases him, finally steps back, he swallows through the bitter pang of loss.

Not a moment too soon; a pair of boots hammer down a nearby ladder. Ice immediately straightens, face closing shut, his bearing collected and aloof once more. They look at each other. 

“I’ll see you topside,” says Ice.

“Wait.” Maverick darts forward. He presses one more kiss to Ice’s mouth, brief and daring, his heart thudding in his chest. “Okay,” he says. “We’re good.”

Ice’s expression softens by the barest degree. He nods. Maverick allows himself to watch his retreat for only a second, then turns heel and exchanges greetings with the lieutenant who’s just rounded the corner.

Only a few more weeks. Maverick can hold on a little longer.

What if Goro Majima was an Italian wolf girl, and also a lesbian? Lappland is a disgraced mafia assassin who hates the famiglia for how they've ruined her country and hurt countless people for the sake of the egos of a few old men. She thinks organized crime is inescapable, though, so her rebellion is to pick fights with other mafioso to justify killing them brutally as possible. She believes turning herself into a violent wild card the leadership is afraid of will stop them from treating her as a person they think they can control. The only person she truly respects is her old rival/childhood friend who DID manage to escape the mafia, whichs fuels Lappland's extremely homoerotic obsession with her that includes at least two duels to the death. At one point her rival is arrested on suspicion of murder, so Lappland visits her in jail to chat and hand-feeds her chocolate through the bars of her cell (it's intentionally her least favourite flavour). The next day she crashes a semitruck into the courthouse in the middle of a hearing to take credit for a car bomb assassination the she didn't do to keep her rival from being falsely convicted. Lappland is the toxic girl shonen rival that tumblr keeps saying they want.

Avrana Kern:

First of all, read Children of Time its great. Avrana Kern was the one of the greatest scientists of old Earth, she spearheaded a project to terraform other planets a principal part of which would be sending down a "barrel of monkeys" armed with a virus to encourage their evolution towards sapience to do a lot of the legwork so the planet would eventually be ready for human colonisation, so great morally grey girlbossing there we can all agree creating new forms of slavery, to her credit she does actually care more about her monkeys than she does other humans but still #Girlboss am I right? Anyway she was caustic, she was blunt nobody liked her but she got the job done what a girlboss. Until an anti technology cult managed to spread a computer virus that destroyed all technology just as the project was beginning the final stages, destroying her barrel of monkeys before if could reach the planet below, Kern was the sole survivor managing to jettison herself from the main station and get into a stasis pod.

Over milennia her body even in stasis began to degenerate until she was more or less fused to the pod, more AI than human. Also spiders get the evolutionary virus and began to develop sapience and a society. The last survivors of humanity arrive on their last ditch colony ship the Gilgamesh and Kern awakens from her slumber, she refuses to acknowledge the humans aboard as human and say the planet below belongs to her monkeys (as we have covered there were no monkeys below, only spiders) and she'll destroy them with her advanced pre collapse of humanity tech if they try to land, they're forced to leave #Girlboss am i right? Eventually the spiders get high enough on the technology ladder to get in touch with her and she basically sets up as their god but she doesn't understand they're spiders, not monkeys so there's a big disconnect there, there's some religious wars done its not a great time in spider society its mostly her fault we gotta say but #Girlboss am I right? Eventually the message gets across that they're spiders not monkeys and she has a bit of a breakdown gets downgraded from god but still very influential in spider culture.

Anyway eventually the spiders develop spaceflight, the spider astronaut chapter is the best its so good, and bring her down to the planet, she now runs on an Ant based operating system and doubles as an AI for the starships created by the spiders. Trust me it all checks out please read Children of Time. This is only stuff from the first book she does more morally grey girlbossing in Children of Ruin and Children of Memory but I won't go into those, have some air of mystery going forwards.

4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?

i almost exclusively write RPF, and so my inspiration for fics comes, 99% of the time, from real-life interactions (which is why i have written so very much landoscar recently, because WOW is there a lot of inspiration). the sterling work of the gif-makers, rippers, and fandom archivists on here does a lot of the heavy lifting for me! for instance, i wrote tell me where it hurts and i’ll make it hurt better having never previously considered fernando alonso in a sexual light because of the post-podium photos and because, frankly, i had taken half a gram of MDMA the night previous and needed something to distract myself while my brain chemistry sorted itself out 🤷‍♂️

following neatly on from that, i also have an absolutely fetid little swamp brain and spend about 75% of any given day thinking about truly disgusting sex stuff, and fic is an outlet for that. often i’ll have ideas floating around my mind for a while before i get round to them or even decide on a pairing, for instance a lot like life which features boot worship and fisting, two kinks i’d wanted to write for ages.

i have a pretty big backlog of horrendous ideas: charles/pierre knifeplay! toto and susie have a terrible toxic threesome with george (not sure i can write this one without accidentally turning it into toto x susie x reader ngl) (it’s me, i am reader)! fernando/lando follow-up with added oscar! toto forces christian to choke him! free use bimbofication lando norris!

i also get inspiration from other writers! whether it’s the line in @lost-decade’s fic you will find me if you let go that inspired me to write born and raised for the job, or all the incredible rule 63 fics like ego death by @beechersnope, trade offer by anon, and first by @flawlessassholes that inspired me to write girl!lando.

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

oh absolutely. i am but a simple goblin. most of my fics explore uneven power dynamics, wet and messy kinks, sadomasochistic leanings, or poor communication.

i use way too many adverbs (stuff like definitely, absolutely, probably) and I have to CTRL+F for “seem” and “feel” before i post anything because i will use them every other sentence if i don’t pay attention.

most of my fics are set in hotel rooms or cooldown rooms. you know that post about hotel rooms being the liminal space in which sublimated desires are realised in sports RPF? yeah, that. i also write a lot about food? i like planning little details about scenes, like what they’re eating and drinking, and i often research restaurants in the area i’m writing about.
