Synastry observations based on personal experience, part 4:

(18+!!!)

Mars/venus first house overlay: gets a bad reputation, because people feel like this overlay is ‘superficial’ due to the fact that the first house signifies what people show of their personality to the outside, aka their ‘looks’ and also their physical appearance. They forget that what you externalise in the house of the externalised ego is you, your ego. That’s you! Your ego is a very deep and important thing about you. For some people it’s a more important than for others of course. The way you dress, laugh, look and walk and look, that *is* a deep aspect about your personality. Like those things *are* personal. For some people like mars or venus dominant people it’s the ideal placement, because this is a fiery placement keeps people from being ~bored~ with who the other is, which often happens in a bad marriage. It’s why this aspect is called thee great aspect for marriage. It’s great!

Venus opposite saturn: does not pose as big of an issue if the people have either venus in 10th house or saturn in 7th house natally. There is more acceptance, understanding and ‘seeing things the other way’ that way. It can also manifest in the honeymoon stage just being enlonged and the problems showing up later.. with the ‘honeymoon stage’ in this aspect I mean that this bond feels pretty karmic and paternalistic and awesome in the beginning, in a way that feels super attractive, safe and interesting to the venus person who’s in awe of saturn, and super intense, fulfilling and a little anxiety inducing for the saturn person involved, who enjoys venus’s quirks and air for themselves so much that they become against it and will call them things like ‘childish’ as time goes on. This doesn’t happen if there’s good trust and communication in the relationship. Most often the ‘emotional pain’ that is seen as inevitable with some synastry aspects according to some people, are only inevitable for people who really don’t know how to deal with other people in relationships. You’ll be alright when you have some supporting aspects to this.

Mars-lilith: mars and lilith have a lot in common: they are independent, sexual, feisty and go after their own fleeting pleasures. Only mars isn’t a social pariah, stays on earth and lilith is so she’s up in the air like a bird. Lilith, as the outcast, is someone who wants to impress mars to prove something to herself. Mars is someone wants to dominate lilith, to prove something to himself and also to her. You can see they have a lot of natural (sexual) chemistry but they’re sh*t for the long term lol. Mars is still part of the ‘ordinary world’ and lilith is still traumatized by that world. In harsher aspects, the empathy towards each other will be non existent. The same can even go for sympathy between the two. Also, the ‘colour’ of this union will of course depend on the signs they are in.

Moon conjunct jupiter: Why does my pisces moon have immediate soulmate-like crushes on men born in 1962/63? Oh, that’s why. I’ve had it the other way around too and I’ve seen a lovely couple with this, but I feel like this definetely gets exalted in pisces. Jupiter ~loves~ the moon person. Moon person’s entire emotional/private self fuels and twinflames jupiter person’s entire inspirational and idealistic self. The moon person feels safe while still feeling inspired and adventarous with the jupiter person. Jupiter basically adores the moon, and even that gets expanded due to the expansive and almost indulgent nature of this aspect. The moon person wants to be with jupiter. They feel their emotional self inspired and exalted when they are with them and it can be for some (for me) a very rare feeling of being so comfortable and happily understood and inspired by the other. I’ve always found this one of the best relationship aspects you can have, for me at least it’s the best because with my scorpio sun pisces moon and sag rising, that optimistic jupiternan energy on my most vulnurable side is exactly what I’m looking for.

Mars conjunct chiron: the only sexual aspect that will make a man want to marry his female partner.

Sun/venus/mercury fifth house overlay: ever had that feeling of ‘ooh this person is going to be here, now this occasion is worth it/interesting/~a party~’ and you almost saw it as like a crush? Did it feel a little juvenile? That’s this one.

Mars fifth house or in that mix^: oh and you do have a crush on this person, highly likely. Are you going ‘oh my god, oh my god, it’s him/her’ when he arrives in like an almost funny and very juvinile way? That’s this one. Okay so now I’m taking a girl reading this as the norm, but for a guy that crush would happen with venus added in the fifth house. This/these overlay(s) cause butterflies and first love vibes for the house person, giggling like a teenager and thinking the planet person is soo cool and fun and attractive. The planet person releases their inhibitions around the house person and becomes leo-esque, like the party version or radio-edition of themselves.

Saturn conjunct an angle: weirdly enough, this aspect is not much talked about on the internet but I assume that is because people don’t have a lot to add to this one. I do. I believe this aspect can be extremely significant in reading a synastry chart romantically. So, to begin with I feel like this aspect, like a lot in synastry, plays out differently irl based on the genders of the people involved. What I’ve found is that saturn conjunct an angle in heterosexual relationships, where the guy is saturn and the angle person is a girl, the guy is easily bound to fall in love with the angle girl. This is because saturn imposes their mix of care, ownership, restriction responsibility, security, dedication, reality, commitment and karma on your angle which basically stands for a fundamental part slash pillar of your existence. Aka, this aspect is a patriarchal wet dream. The hero-instinct is immensly triggered here. This guy’s (who I also had a pretty large age gap with for our early twenties) saturn was tightly conjunct my IC, the most vulnerable angle, standing for my fourth house of the home and, using other astrologer’s phrasing, where ‘my soul is seated’. We were not together yet, but would unsolicited go “yeah, that’s important that you do that” and after some inquiring about anything “be careful that you don’t” blabla like it mattered to him. The vibe was very much like he could say “look, as your husband” and me reacting like “excuse me??” Same guy also had his saturn tightly conjunct my even younger friend’s ASC and it’s like he picked her to be like his little sister! even though they didn’t know each other that well. He would be very protective of her (although i think he could have done more, but that’s another story) and hype her up whenever she walked into a room, it was very cute. Conjuncting DSC I’d imagine it would play out like saturn worrying about the people DSC hangs out with and feeling a sense of dictatorship(?) over her social angle and who she’s seeking love from. Brooding protectiveness over the fact that DSC has been going out again with many guys who may not be up to good. Like I said, this aspect is the patriarchal wet dream. Conjuncting MC it would be exactly like jiwoo and sungmin from Age of Yourh. Making sure he’s right behind her in her goals at all times to protect her, almost like a cynical bodyguard, but somehow equal-ish partners that compliment each other. Back to saturn conjunct IC, the IC is the ingebakken way of managing things and the way you close your eyes for rest. Saturn conjuncting this part of you is like them barging into your house and giving you pills while you’re, like, there in your underwear. This angle aspect does create a deep kind of bond I’d guess. It’s still lunar! With the AC I think it’s the physical air and appearance that someone gives off that makes saturn think that they’re smol and need guidance. This is what I imagine a first impression would be like! Not getting into the relationship itself but like, you could guess. I’d say the ASC and MC conjunction will flourish as platonic and be doomed when it gets romantic and the DSC and IC conjunction will flourish as romantic and be doomed as platonic. In the right kind of relationship these conjunctions can be like ‘ahww’ and wholesome but in the wrong kind of relationship, these conjunctions could cause a major, and I can’t describe this any other way, ‘f*ck of!!!’ 😂

Moon trine mercury: I call this the best friend aspect because I’ve shared this aspect with every friend I could talk with for hours and enjoy it. Even if you don’t share the same kind of humor you can still laugh and communicate and basically enjoy each other’s brain ! I like this aspect in romantic relationships, too, because this aspect kills the potential awkward silence and it adds that green flag communication with e/o when official. This isn’t like the conjunction were the two bodies are so bang on alike that it becomes like a battle between the one person’s mind and the one person’s emotions. There is a harmonious distance that actually brings the people closer together and creates that intimacy. With the trine you constantly greatly appreciate what the other person adds to the table. This is communication that flows non-verbally as well, like through touches and looks.

Moon opposite mars: chrissttt, not to be vulgar but you both know you just want to.. do the deed together 💀 almost as if after 10 mins of talking you’ve already decided that in your head

Mars sextile moon/venus I feel like the energy that flows through the trine causes sexual arousal and through the sextile it causes a very wholesome emotional arousal. Great aspect no matter which gender.

Chiron conjunct sun: get ready to get your feelings hurt if you’re the chiron person! Well, the way this feels is actually: the sun person will just be hitting you where you’re vulnurable but most likely you’ll like it and feel almost soothed, even. I’ve had this both ways. It’s a great and genuine aspect to have.

Synastry Observations #2

💙 Their Mars in your 3rd House makes them want to talk to you all the time. Conversation tends to flow freely. You inspire each other's thoughts and ideas. They tell you things about their siblings or neighbors. You enjoy running errands together. Frequent talks about sex and sexting isn't unusual for this overlay.

🤍 Moon overlaying the 9th House can indicate that there is significant distance between the two of you. Long distance relationship. Person from a different culture or ethnic background. This overlay also indicates that you may share similar religious beliefs or philosophies on life.

💙 Venus opposing Uranus can also indicate a relationship between two very different people. This aspect in synastry brings excitement, especially in the beginning. The Uranus person sends electrifying signals to the Venus person, who is drawn to the Uranus person. There needs to be some grounding and enduring aspects in the rest of this synastry for a relationship to last with this one. This aspect can also manifest as an on/off relationship because the two are activated towards each other through transits.

🤍 Having Mercury square Mercury in synastry can be tough. Here the people involved struggle with communication and understanding each other during critical and even non-critical moments. When Mercury squares in synastry, even small misunderstandings can quickly escalate to bigger disagreements. Because squares are typically created by signs of the same modality, but different elements, the minds of these people clash because the approach is different. For instance, a Cancer Mercury and Libra Mercury both are Cardinal and the mind works fast for these signs. But Cancer's mode of communication is filtered through the emotions (Water), while Libra filters through the mind (Air).

💙 When their Venus is in your 7th House, you find them very attractive. They embody what is beautiful to you. As the House person, you have the attributes and qualities of what Venus values in love and partnerships. The Venus person values you. This overlay can also indicate the Venus person coming into the House person's life to increase value or make money together.

🤍 When a person's Mars conjuncts another's Chiron, the Mars person has come to help facilitate healing for the Chiron person. As long as the rest of the synastry supports it, Mars isn't afflicted, and the Chiron person has already done some shadow work to address wounds, this is a very positive aspect in synastry.

💙 I've noticed when Saturn conjuncts the North Node in synastry, it can indicate a lifelong friendship. Of course, this can develop into a romantic partnership, or even start off romantic and end up as friends. But essentially, the people involved become bound together with this aspect. It is often the Saturn person who gets stuck on the NN person. Saturn initially introduces structure and discipline to the NN person. The NN person shows Saturn how to lighten up and allow lessons to evolve naturally. This aspect in synastry can also indicate creating 'good' Karma in this lifetime. Often there is an age difference involved.

🤍 Neptune conjunct Vertex in synastry can be a beautifully fated connection or an extreme nightmare. When Neptune is positively placed within the natal and in synastry, this aspect brings a brand new, positive perspective to the Vertex person about compassion and unconditional love. But because of the nature of Neptune and the potential for illusions and deceit, if Neptune is ill placed or badly afflicted, Neptune will teach the Vertex person about seeing clearly, setting proper boundaries, and using their intuition.

Chiron in 1st House Synastry

Chiron is very strong in the angular houses, ie, 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th, since it is felt very personally. The Chiron person is going to transform how the house person looks at themselves. This is more physical than mental, but Chiron person will change the house person literally in many ways. On the challenging side Chiron might make House much more insecure, and even 'jealous' of them. But if taken positively, Chiron will make the house person look at themselves with so much love. Chiron will make you glow and radiate beauty from within. You will feel extremely confident about being yourself with Chiron. The Chiron person will encourage you and tell you how beautiful you are, there will be this sense of empathy and adoration by them, for who you are as a person. [I think that's the reason why I appreciate Capricorn risings so much. They make me proud af.] The Chiron person will love to shower the House with compliments or really appreciate their outlook on life. If this is taken negatively, the Chiron person might get overly jealous or butthurt over the house person's opinions in life and might not communicate in a healthy way at all. And the house person's self esteem and confidence will be greatly affected.

Chiron in 2nd House Synastry

The Chiron person will teach you (the house person) to accept themselves more and more. The 2nd house is all about the image we have of ourselves from the outside, ie, our style or looks, or how we are satisfied in the material world. This also has do with our beliefs and values. Anything that we own. So Chiron will make you see your worth in the best way possible. The Chiron person will trigger you to become more self reliant, if this is a committed long term relationship. If this relationship isn't built on a solid ground or is not something 'positive', the Chiron person will trigger the House person, a lot, and make them feel repressed or that the house person has to become someone that they are not. The house person would feel useless or worthless in Chiron person's presence. The house person will always ask, "Am I good enough?" While in loving relationships, the Chiron person will motivate the house person to become more and more confident in the way they show up for themselves and express themselves. The Chiron person would shower the house person with compliments and will love to tell the house person how amazing and inspirational they find them to be. The house person generally would love this type of attention from Chiron, and will feel very confident in their skills and abilities because of the Chiron person.

Chiron in 3rd House Synastry

When Chiron falls into someone's 3rd house, the Chiron person really challenges the house person to stand up and communicate their needs. The house person finds the Chiron person to be very talkative or very dominant in a sense that Chiron would give them knowledge about so many things, and somehow it would feel 'oppressive'. This is pretty similar to gaslighting, because Chiron dismisses the House person's voice. The Chiron person will straight up say what is bothering them, and the House person needs to learn to communicate their own needs in a healthy way. The house person will be shown their wounds related to siblings or their locality, and the Chiron person will ask of you to heal those relationships and even accept any childhood trauma that your neighborhood might have given you. The Chiron person will want you to express your thoughts and opinions, and if you don't, then the Chiron person might start to feel that they smother your conversations or cut you off all the time, so that you can listen to them. With this placement, the house person needs to learn to communicate without feeling the fear of judgements. In healthy relationships, Chiron will encourage the House person to share their thoughts and ideas, and Chiron will show a genuine interest in learning what the house person has to offer.

Chiron in 4th House Synastry

This is a very deep placement! It can either feel extremely challenging or it can be a really good factor for personal growth. The Chiron person will leave you wondering about how your entire childhood/memories of the past has been, because Chiron will trigger the deepest emotional memories that you have saved within. This person will strip away any mask that you have and will show you your core emotional wounds. You will feel extremely transparent and vulnerable in front of the Chiron person. The Chiron person will see the House person to their deepest and most private self. Chiron will make you introspect heavily on your private life. In more negative or immature relationships, the Chiron person might show stalking tendencies towards you/the House person. The House person will be called to embrace their vulnerable self in front of the Chiron person. The Chiron person will also trigger you to have a better relationship with your house and your lifestyle. They will teach the House person to become more accepting of being alone and feeling authentic. The House person will feel encouraged to embrace their emotions in the presence of Chiron. For the Chiron person, you will feel like a safe space for them to open up. In challenging relationships, the Chiron person will make it extremely hard for the House person to open up and trust.

Chiron in 5th House Synastry

With Chiron being in the House person's/your area of life that deals with creativity, pleasure and joy, the Chiron person will help the House person realise the meaning of letting go and truly enjoying the journey. The House person will feel like a child again in the presence of Chiron. Chiron will teach you to become more intune with your creative side and to not take everything as something that needs to be constantly worked upon. In the presence of Chiron, you will feel more expressive and will start to feel like a child again. You will notice that the Chiron person helps you heal your inner child, they encourage your creativity, and they pull you closer towards understanding the meaning of true joy in life. In challenging or immature relationships, the House person will feel extremely stagnant and somehow stuck when in the presence of Chiron. The house person will feel as though they don't have enough freedom to just be themselves and enjoy the things they usually do. Chiron in 6th House Synastry

When Chiron is placed in the 6th house, the house person will feel the need to constantly be working or improving their daily habits. Chiron will trigger this sense of urgency within the house person, and the house person become very willing to look at their routines and how they cope with day to day issues. With this house placement, Chiron can end up teaching the house person how to become responsible and take action in life. The house person will feel this energy of a "mentor" from the Chiron person, because the Chiron person will help the house person look deep where they are slacking off or wasting their time. In negative or immature relationships, the Chrion person could become extremely nitpicky and will criticize every single habit the house person has. In conflicted relationships this can show up as having very different lifestyles that don't give you freedom to follow what you wish to follow. The house person will learn to manage their time and energy better. And the Chiron person will learn to become more independent and take responsibility for themselves. Both the Chiron and house person will teach each other new routines or introduce to better lifestyles. This couple will push each other to become healthy and live a life where health is the main focus. This couple will be able to manage a household together very nicely.

Chiron in 7th House Synastry

The 7th house is another angular house which means the energy is felt quite strongly. So when someone has their Chiron in your 7th house, or vice versa, you will literally be learning the way to maintain healthy relationships. This sounds very broad in a sense because "maintaining a healthy relationship," covers every area of life. But actually here, the Chiron person will teach the house person to express their needs to other people. The Chiron person will act this mirror to the house person. The house person will realise their own shortcomings and will understand the real way to build a connection on mutual trust and understanding. This is a very karmic type of placement because you are literally teaching the other person how to be in a relationship, how to open up and love somebody. This can be extremely healing and the House person might see the Chiron person as their "other half". Because the house person will feel seen and heard by the Chiron person. In immature relationships, the House person will feel used or manipulated by the Chiron person. The Chiron person will project their insecurities onto the house person, and it won't be pleasant. However in a healthy relationships, Chiron person will realise their own shortcomings and won't project their insecurities onto the House person. The House person will naturally feel drawn to Chiron's presence in their life, and will enjoy having Chiron as their partner.

Chiron in 8th House Synastry

8th house is about what we share with someone else. People think it's a bad house, but no it isn't. The thing about this house is, that when humans bond with other humans, due to their pride and jealousy they tend to create 'bad' bonds. And this is the house of bonding and sharing. Honestly this can be one of the most abundant houses, if you know how to deal with people and not accumulate negative emotions from others. So the placement of Chiron in someone else's 8th house, the House person will like be in a complete bind. The House person will find healing in what they share with the Chiron person. And this bond is mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. The Chiron person will touch the deepest parts of the House person's pysche. The House person will feel exposed because Chiron will be able to look so deep into them. They will be like this inseparable duo. The healing will come to each other through getting completely involved in understanding each other, being completely honest with each other. In positive relationships, the House person will feel as though Chiron just gets them and there is no barrier that Chiron can't break. Chiron will feel extremely drawn to the House person and will want to understand them as deeply as they can. In immature relationships, this can turn into psychological harm, manipulation and the House person will see Chiron as someone they can't share anything with. The house person will see Chiron as flaky and will be distrustful of their intentions. Whereas in positive relationships, both Chiron and House person will feel like they found their "best friend". Both will feel extremely drawn to each other's energy and will be very involved in helping each other out through anything.

Chiron in 9th House Synastry

The 9th house in Synastry is all about how two people influence each other to pursue knowledge and wisdom. It's the house where you become wiser with the experiences of life, the house where you value learning, adventure and seek greater meaning of life. Chiron person will teach the house person to open up their minds and look at life with a fresh new lens. The House will realise there is more to life and that adventure is not lost. Chiron will feel as breath of fresh air around the House person. In immature or negative relationships, the House person will feel suffocated or neglected because the Chiron person will dismiss the beliefs and ideologies of the house person. The house person will feel a need to break free from the way Chiron suppresses their views on life. This is giving like a strict political leader who's wife is extremely unhappy at how caged her beliefs are because of him. So, in more positive and healthy relationships, the House person will learn a lot of new things because of Chiron's genuine curiousity about life and philosophy. Chiron is really like a teacher to the house person, and will also learn immensely by teaching the house. They will expand each other's minds about life, values, being open to the idea of different cultures, traditions, philosophies etc. There is a great potential for healing in this area of life.

Chiron in 10th House Synastry

This will be felt very personally by the house person. Chiron will expose you to the world, almost. They will shed light on how the house person shows up in front of the world, if the mask they are wearing for the public is authentic enough, or if the house person is confident enough wearing their social mask. Chiron will be like a mentor to the House person. The house person will realise a lot of things about their work and career, about how they show up in front of the world etc. Chiron will act like an advisor and a mentor to the House person. In conflicted or immature relationships, the Chiron person can make the House person extremely self conscious of they appear between people, or give them social anxiety, degrade their confidence etc. The house person will feel controlled and smothered by Chiron because Chiron might tell them things that will make them insecure of themselves. This is very much like a controlling mother who wants her daughter to appear perfect in front of everybody. The house person will feel pressured by Chiron and Chiron's tendency to appear a certain way and look totally perfect as a couple even when things are not that way in reality. In healthy relationships Chiron will teach the House person a lot about maintaining a good reputation, having a stable career etc. Chiron will feel like their efforts to build a successful person aren't going to waste. These two will help each other professionally a lot!

Chiron in 11th House Synastry

With the 11th house of hopes, long terms plans, networking, making connections, achieving goals, Chiron will inspire the House person to take action towards their goals. The house person will reconsider their long terms plans because of Chiron's influence. The house person will see Chiron as a part of their future and will consider Chiron to be a big influence on how they plan for their ambitions. Both Chiron and house person will inspire each other with new ideas and hope, and Chiron might introduce the House person to very important people who might help House achieve their goals. There is a sense of motivation that Chiron fills the house person up with. In immature or conflicted relationships, the House person will feel like Chiron always shatter their dreams or never let them dream. House person will feel extremely neglected and as though their hopes and aspirations doesn't matter. Chiron will also limit the house person from networking or socializing or simply becoming a decent well liked person in their community. Chiron will somehow become disloyal or really taint the house person's name in the social circle. In healthy or positive relationships, Chiron and the House person will immensely support each other's dreams and goals. Both will help each other to meet with important people, build important friendships etc. The Chiron person will act like a guide for the House person. They will educate the house person on social life, making friends, achieving goals, etc. Both will achieve many beautiful things together as a team!

Chiron in 12th House Synastry

The 12th house is about the unseen and everything to do with our mind. It's about the un-ordinary and the fantastical. When someone has their Chiron in your 12th house, you will feel like your are healing, but won't realise how. Because the 12th house is so subtle, and so unconscious. The House person will be healing in every tiny interaction with Chiron person. They won't realise they are healing each other, but it will be subconscious and subliminal. In unhealthy relationships though, it'll feel as though Chiron can read you so well and that they have this key to unlock your inner world, but they aren't making a good use of it. The Chiron person will know how to fuck up the house person's psychology. Often times though, in immature relationships, nobody will realise this, expect the house person might feel intuitive hints that the Chiron person is not good for their mental health. Chiron will screw your mind, if you don't realise it quickly enough. In healthy relationships though, Chiron is going to heal you very subtly. The house person will feel a genuine lift in their mood/energy whenever Chiron is around. Chiron will almost act like this perfect parent, to the little child that is the house person. Because when a baby is developing, they pick up very small clues and signs, and that shapes their mind in the long term. So Chiron in this aspect, will be healing the house person to great depth. Infact both will heal each other, both will feel more positive around each other, and yes, both will trigger each other enormously because of the deep seated emotions and fears. But these two will also come out stronger on the other end!

Part 2: Chiron in Synastry

Now that we've established the mythical and astrological meaning of Chiron, let's look at what happens when Chiron is aspected in synastry. (And, like in my last post, I'll be referencing 'Chiron in Love' by Liz Greene, which is a book I would really recommend to anyone wanting to learn a little more about this topic.)

Chiron and Compassion - Liz Greene explains that Chiron is quite common in synastry charts with people we have important relationships with, saying, "Chiron is often found forming close synastry aspects in the charts of people involved in significant relationships of every kind. These might be romantic or familial, but Chiron's involvement also turns up in important working relationships as well as relationships between nations and their leaders." (Greene, p. 71) She goes on to say that the prominence of Chiron in love relationships may be surprising to some, as Chiron isn't necessarily romantic. It doesn't provide a relationship with that 'spark' that planets like Venus or Mars do. But remember that love is not synonymous with romance, and while Chiron may not bring much allure to a relationship, it can bring compassion. Which every relationship needs. Greene points out that, "Our most enduring emotional bonds with others are built on shared suffering. Compassion doesn't just bind us emotionally and make us feel needed. It also opens the gates to the imagination, beginning with the capacity to imagine ourselves in the other person's shoes. We're no longer trapped within our own private loneliness. Think about what happens when people are grieving, whether it's an individual, a family, or a whole society. Shared suffering makes people care for each other in ways they might not ordinarily experience. Collective disasters like the Twin Towers or the Southeast Asian tsunami of 2004, or the deaths of greatly loved figures [like Princess Diana], draw people together through shared grief in ways that don't happen in other circumstances." (Greene, pp. 78-79) When Chiron is present in synastry, these individuals can care for each other quite deeply. The compassion they feel for each other, particularly coming from the planet person, can lead them to do things they ordinarily wouldn't. The type of care the planet person provides the Chiron person with will be coloured by whichever planet of theirs is being aspected. If it's Venus, they may try to soothe Chiron's pain by showering them with love and affection, and through outward admiration and appreciation. If it's Mercury, they may feel pulled to talk through Chiron's issues with them, acting as bit of a therapist. If it's the Moon, they can nurture the Chiron person, providing them with vulnerability, safety, and connection. You get the gist. These two might have quite a soft spot for each other, they tend to care for one another in ways that aren't usual for them, or that are more 'profound'. The planet person may feel determined to erase the Chiron person's pain. But, as we went over in the last post, there's no 'cure' for Chiron's wound, no quick fix. This is no different in synastry. While the planet person may be able to bring the Chiron person's wounds to the surface and try their best to soothe them, they cannot entirely rid Chiron of their hurt. But, with the willingness of the Chiron person, they can help them find ways to accept and deal with their pain, which can, in itself, be quite healing.

What Happens when your Planet is Aspecting their Chiron? -

"I've been focusing mainly on natal Chiron constellated by a planet in someone else's chart. But what about the other way around? What if it's our planet making an aspect to someone else's Chiron?

Audience: I would be doing the same thing to them.

Liz: Yes, in a general sense - there is an activation of something within you too. But the planet is different, so it's not quite 'the same thing'. They aren't triggering your wound; you're triggering theirs. A planet in your natal chart is stirred by the other person's Chiron, which means that their complexity, defensiveness, pain, and perhaps also wisdom and compassion will activate something within your own psyche and help bring it to life in a new way. The way might be difficult and you might decide you would rather be elsewhere, but there is a meaningful pattern at work." (Greene, p. 74)

Similarities between Saturn and Chiron - Liz Greene notes that the frequency of Chiron in close relationships can be compared to that of Saturn. Saturn and Chiron, of course, have their own respective meanings and both bring different things to a relationship, but there are a few notable similarities between the two. Greene says, "Like Saturn, Chiron in synastry reflects subtle, often deeply unconscious issues activated in the relationship that could lead to creative transformation or profound hurt and disillusionment, and frequently both. Also like Saturn in synastry, Chiron requires effort, honesty, and consciousness on the part of both people to express its most creative dimensions." (Greene, p. 71)

'Profound Hurt and Disillusionment' - I'd like to touch on the 'profound hurt' aspect of Chiron synastry for a moment, as the theme of pain is inherent to Chiron and can't exactly be ignored. I don't believe that Chiron's presence in synastry always points to a painful relationship. But everyone has a Chiron in their own natal chart, and therefore everyone already has this profound hurt somewhere deep inside them, whether they're conscious of it or not. And when our Chiron is triggered by another person, we're forced to face this hurt. Which not everyone is ready to do. Some may react quite negatively, and sometimes in particularly volatile ways. Greene describes this type of reaction, saying, "When Chiron is lying in his cave howling, between the wounding and the relinquishing of his immortality, he is in extreme agony. He's incoherent and incapacitated. He's not likely to greet visitors by inviting them in for a cup of tea and asking them to talk about their problems. He will be savage toward anyone who intrudes on his agony. Horses, when injured, kick and bite or run away. Chiron's reaction to extreme pain is an instinctive, visceral reaction, and it's sometimes savage." (Greene, p. 43) If the planet person attempts to soothe, or even merely address Chiron's pain, this may be the exact kind of reaction they're met with. There's a tendency for Chiron to pass on its wounds, especially within the family, but in other kinds of relationships as well. Chiron can lash out and project their hurt onto the other person, and this hurt may then be absorbed into whichever area of life Chiron's wounds are being cast onto. But the Chiron person is not the only one capable of causing hurt in the relationship. Chiron is a very sensitive spot in a person's chart, and in the context of synastry, the Chiron person is the one embodying this sensitivity. They can be easily bruised by the planet person. Every hurtful thing, no matter how unintentional, deepens the Chiron person's pre-existing wounds. In extreme cases, the planet person may act callously toward the Chiron person, using Chiron's fragility to make themselves feel more powerful. Another unfortunate, albeit much less extreme, way that Chiron aspects can play out in synastry is through 'disillusionment'. "Disillusioned, adjective: Disappointed in someone or something that one discovers to be less good than one had believed." Chiron synastry, while challenging, can feel quite promising. Enchanting, even. Especially to the Chiron person, who may end up deluding themselves into believing that the planet person is their knight in shining armor coming to save them from all their pain and misery. Our natal Chiron can make us feel completely powerless in dealing with our suffering, so the fantasy of another person saving us from this pain can be quite comforting and can potentially lead us to act in slightly delusional ways, including placing unrealistic expectations onto the other person. But once this illusion is shattered, the Chiron person will likely be left feeling hurt, alone, and disappointed.

This has been a very long post, so I'll end it now with this quote from Liz Greene:

"Whatever planet is involved with Chiron in synastry, consciousness in both people is needed to work with the aspect constructively. Both need to be willing to look inward with honesty. It can't be entirely one-sided or it will fail. That's asking a lot, but there are no free lunches in Chiron's world... Close Chiron synastry aspects can feel like hell at times. Not everyone is suited to this kind of complexity or introspection in their relationships, nor wants to make the sacrifices required... It can be very tricky to handle Chiron aspects in synastry. Yet if we're willing to try, it can be profoundly healing because we actually have to let another human being see the place inside where we feel unfairly and irrevocably damaged." (Greene, pp. 86-89)

Uranus/Neptune retrograde could mean struggle to exit a toxic group, “friends”.

I’ve read a lot of comments about black moon in lilith 7H that says they could be part of a 3rd party or be “the other women”. I have that placement in my natal chart and already a couple of times my friends who end up a 2 year relationship propose me to be their sneaky link. also, it could mean that the girlfriends/ boyfriends/partners of your friends could be jealous of you, the Lilith 7H person.

9H stellium in solar return signifies improvement, learning, to expand your horizons, to start a new period of high/education/learning.

in this whole period of time I’ve learned about my needs and how to communicate them (Chiron 3H in solar return): for example, I’ve seen people and I wanted something casual but didn’t know how to make myself understood. I didn’t even know what I wanted, so I’ve learned it during this period. It doesn’t count only in situationship stuff, it’s an example.

I wanted but my subconscious was telling me to keep calm so all the trust or time i gave to build that environment won’t be wasted. then, unintentionally, I broke that diplomatic environment after my birthday. it felt really good, like it was me again😩

natal saturn 1H why so conservative and traditional? I’m not affirming is a bad thing but this placement often behaves exaggeratedly, too disciplined/formal. they could be too focused on what should be and how things should work instead of appreciating the whole situation. they could end up judging others too much, evidencing the amount of criticism they have on themselves.

🪬Juno/Lilith aspects in the natal chart indicate there’s something taboo about the natives marriage or marriage partner… (class difference, race difference, wide age gap, etc.)

🪬Mercury in gemini in the fire houses (1,5,9) of one’s natal chart like fast cars

🪬Scorpio’s are more passive aggressive than Libras. I had a best friend with 5 of her planets in Scorpio and let me tell you….😂

🪬You typically get the sign or opposite sign of either your parents sun sign or rising sign (i.e if someone mom is a cap rising the child may end up getting a cap sun or cancer sun or if someone’s dad is a Gemini sun the other child may get a Gemini or Sagittarius sun)

🪬Watch out for mercury opposite Jupiter in synastry. This aspect in synastry can cause lots of arguing to where the two just don’t see eye to eye. The persons way of thinking (mercury) conflicts with the other persons belief system (Jupiter).

🪬And since we’re on the topic about Jupiter… also watch out for Jupiter conjunct/opposite mars in synastry as well. Jupiter talks about expansion whilst mars is about explosion. This aspect has the potential to cause lots of arguments as well as unpleasant emotions that can make the relationship become toxic overtime.

I have and know somebody with this aspect and it’s like we’re always at war with our appearance and always find something about ourselves that we think other people are judging us for. As someone with this aspect, there’s a lot I could say about this placement 🫠

Chiron 8th house overlay

Thank you for your question! Generally, any heavenly body falling into the eighth house will be meeting with the house person in the place where there are the house person’s secrets, their sexuality, their depth and hidden darkness. An 8th house overlay will play out depending on the nature of that heavenly body. Chiron is a wound and a healer at the same time. Of course, falling into someone’s eighth house of darkness and shame/pain and sex and have chiron meet a person in specifically that side of them, is bound to be very much felt. I’d say that house person would happily want to keep chiron’s secrets for them, and will nurture the intensity of that wounded healer side to the chiron as much as they can, wether they do this consciously or subconsciously. Chiron can feel extremely passionate, almost like a responsibility, to drown in the 8th house person’s trouble and ugliness. I feel like this can play out in two ways: either the house person will feel chirons effect on them as a healer and instinctively hide (but cave) from them, while chiron basically gets their medicine from being involved with the house person. Compare that to chiron receiving prescribed drugs from a questionable doctor. Or chiron will be the one who is initially disturbed by the effect the stuff of the house person has on them, like they’re watching a family member get buried, but they cave and can’t look away of course, out of love from that person and as the person who helped the arrangements of the funural.

This aspect has a big influence on the sexuality of the two people. Chiron may feel kind of dirty after doing it with the house person. This can manifest in a good way and of course bad ways as well. The house person can feel like they’re tainting a wound of the chiron person, depending on the house placement of the chiron person, by having sex with them. For instance, if someone has their chiron in the second house overlaying an eighth house in synastry, the house person may feel like the ‘tramp’ in the lady abd the tramp. Like they know the chiron person ‘could’ do better or worse than them, but didn’t. Be careful with abuse !
