Release: January 22, 2013
Lyrics:
The sky is red tonight
We're on the edge tonight
No shooting star to guide us
Eye for an eye, why tear each other apart?
Please tell me why, why do we make it so hard?
Look at us now, we only got ourselves to blame
It's such a shame
How many times can we win and lose?
How many times can we break the rules between us?
Only teardrops
How many times do we have to fight?
How many times till we get it right between us?
Only teardrops
So come and face me now
Here on the stage tonight
Let's leave the past behind us
Eye for an eye, why tear each other apart?
Please tell me why, why do we make it so hard?
Look at us now, we only got ourselves to blame
It's such a shame
Tell me
How many times can we win and lose?
How many times can we break the rules between us?
Only teardrops
How many times do we have to fight?
How many times till we get it right between us?
Only teardrops
What's gone between us has come between us
Only teardrops
(Tell me now) What's gone between us has come between us
How many times can we win and lose?
How many times can we break the rules between us?
Only teardrops
How many times do we have to fight?
How many times till we get it right between us?
Only teardrops, only teardrops
Only teardrops
Only teardrops
How many times can we win and lose?
How many times can we break the rules between us?
Only teardrops

Wrapped 2023 (Aijamisespava Edition!)
Oookay, taking a break from my messenger role in Eurovision Land to bring you something different (buckle up, this is going to get long). Yesterday was Spotify Wrapped, and while I'm off celebrating my favorite songs that made it to that top 100 list, I also become a wild statistician and bring you my stats.
General Stats: Well...I listened for 139,902 minutes (more than my friends and family), my top artist was Taylor Swift with Evanescence, Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, and Loïc Nottet rounding out my top 5. I'd go into my top 5 songs but.....Loïc Nottet took 3rd and 4th with "Mélodrame" and "Mud Blood" respectively. What about the rest? That's what I'm here for.
Welcome to my Eurovision 2023. Any Eurovision song that makes my Spotify Wrapped is in my Grand Final. So countries can participate as many times as they appear. So here is my list. I'll have their actual placement on my Wrapped in parenthesis.

Honorable mentions go to "Gladiator" by Jann and "Novi Plan Drugi San" by Filip Baloš for making my Wrapped at 21 and 32, respectively. They may not have made it to the Eurovision stage, but they have a soft spot in my heart. Unfortunately, I did not have any Junior Eurovision songs make it. But if they did, they would be listed.

Eurovision Fact #456:
Tumblr media
Since 2009, the jury and televoters' pick for who should take first place has almost always been at odds. However, there have been a handful of times where the jury and the public have managed to agree on a winner.
There were only six years where this occurred:
In 2009, both groups agreed that Norway's Alexander Rybak was the clear winner; the following year the same could be said about Germany's Lena.
2012 started a three-year streak of the jury and public agreeing on a winner. Both groups agreed that Loreen, Emmelie de Forest, and Conchita Wurst should be the winners of the 2012, 2013, and 2014 contests respectively.
The last time the public and jury came to an agreement was in 2017 when Portugal's Salvador Sobral took home the win.

Since 1956, there are women who compete in Eurovision Song Contest. Asides, most or some of them brought their gorgeous and sexy vibes even on live stage [like a goddess or diva].
Now, here is the 1st batch for my list of the MOST BEAUTIFUL female Eurovision acts (based on my own thoughts and criteria which are: physical appearance, personality or attitude and presentation on the live ESC stage).
Its alright for me if you could agree or disagree with my list because I'm sure, some or most of you here in Tumblr could have their own preference of who are the most beautiful female Eurovision acts (may be similar or different) as we may have different opinion, taste and choice. You can also put down your own list of them in the comment section below this post and of course, I totally respect it. 😊
STAY TUNED FOR BATCH 2 SOON….😁
