Small snippet from a WIP of Erestor´s first meeting with the sons of Feanor, here picturing Maglor
“Now tell me little one, if your Amilesse is Carnisen and Anessi is Moriatteafinwe, which are both Quenya, but it doesn´t sound as if your mother is of the Eldar, is Carnisen then just an Epesse?” Maglor asked as he sat down next to the elfling in the family dining room, with a cup of honeyed tea he pushed towards the child, Caranthir having been distracted by a matter involving the sheep’s the fortress had thust they were alone at the moment. “Mother called me Eodred,” Carnisen whispered as he wrapped his fingers around the cup he had been given, “and Eodred av Theo when meeting outsiders.” was added sharply. “Arh!” Maglor exclaimed as he filled his own plate with food, “tell me then Eodred av Theo, where is your Adar?” “Atar!” the child hissed sassily glaring at Maglor up from his cup, “said he needed to see to something but would be back soon.” “Well then, you must live with my presence for some time, I hope you doest not mind that,” Maglor smirked, well knowing to the problems with the sheep’s, as he had been the one coursing it.
Translations:
Amilesse = Mother given name: Quenya
Epesse = Last name/pet name: Quenya
Anessi = First name/Father name: Quenya
Carnisen = Red child: Quenya
Moriatteafinwe = Dark second Finwe: Quenya; I don´t think I abbreviated it right but I did try
Theo = People: Rohirric; I am never going to try and find around in Rohirric again, what a nightmare! Tolkien did imply that the Haladin were the forefathers of the people of Rohan so that´s why I´m using Rohirric
Eo = Noble: Rohirric; Eoh means horse (usually war horse) and Eorl nobleman and looking into the importance of horses for the people of Rohan I´m translating Eo to noble (yes I like the idea of them calling all their horses noble) - it´s also sweet that Theo (word for people) have noble in it
Red = Counselor/Wiseman: Rohirric; this is taken from the name Theodred which means folk counsel and we know that Theo is the people so Red must be the counsel
Eodred = Wise noble: Rohirric
Eodred av Theo = Wise noble of the people

One aspect of the House of Feanor I’d like to talk about is the idea that they all really love children. Like Feanor has seven sons more than any other elf we’ve ever heard mentioned. You’re telling me this guy doesn’t really love kids? So I like to believe that all the Feanorians are all inherently great with kids and just melt every time they see a child.
Feanor hates his half brothers for the whole Indis thing but he’s the only one who gets away with hating them. Anyone else tries it and they are hit with the full force of an angry Feanor. Yes he hates them but he will also be tutoring them because how else will he make sure it’s done right and they won’t disgrace Atar? And no he was not just bouncing Arafinwe on his lap what are you talking about?
Curufin is an excellent father which he inherited from his own father. Tyelpe also has six uncles who never tire of spending hours playing with him. They all fight for the title of best uncle and Tyelko very firmly believes it is him.
At family gatherings it is understood that no matter your reservations about Feanor’s side of the family if there is an upset child a Feanorian will know how to deal with it. Feanor himself will rarely object to being handed a crying baby regardless of it’s parentage. Maedhros has been the assigned babysitter for what feels like an eternity and his abilities are regarded as near magic.
This does not go away once they get to Middle Earth. The Feanorians all go to great lengths to provide adequate parental leave in their armies and frequently stop round to check in with any new parents to meet the child. They know all the names of most of their followers children and ask about them regularly.
One of the first things that endeared Caranthir to Haleth was how kind he was with some of her younger relatives. The children of the Haladin all love him because he plays with them sometimes and brings them little sweets. His good with children instincts are activated with any child regardless of race and it helps him build relations with other races more easily.
When Maglor brings Elrond and Elros back Maedhros is a lost cause within a month. He knows this s unhealthy on so many levels but children. They’re so innocent and tiny and he’s going to protect them. They are both referring to them as their children within a week.
Elrond inherits this. Erestor and Glorfindel see his adoption problem and immediately think oh shit our lord is definitely a Feanorian.

Caranthir & Erestor
Tumblr media
It´s my birthday so I felt I had a right to treat myself to some happy family - and as always Erestor as Haleth and Caranthir´s child
Caranthir is wearing fewer layers than I usually give him, which means he´s not dressed "fancy" in his own eyes (everyone else thinks he´s always fancy/overdressed but that doesn't matter)

correspondence and revelations shortly after Dagor Bragollach for @silmarillionepistolary
To, Caranthir Morifinwë Fëanorian Lord of the East
Dear cousin, it is with great sorrow which I greet you. The attacks of the Enemy took us all by surprise and I mourn the blow the loss of Thargelion will surely have on us all. Though I had never the chance to visit I had heard many great things of the eastern mountains, they were fair to behold, I am told, and I know that you loved it there. Still it gladdens me to hear that you and yours escaped for the most part unscathed. Know whatever aid and support we can spare is already on its way to you as you receive this letter.
I'm sure you know already that Celegorm and Curufin have taken up refuge among my people. You should know you they are well and whole. They, along with I, have sent letters detailing their arrival and stay. I have also sent some papers detailing preliminary adjustments to traderoutes and logistics for delivering aid among our people and allies. I am sure you have more than enough plans of your own and as always i defer to you judgement on such matters.
But all this aside I had another matter I wished to inform you of concerning one of the people of Haleth in Brethil. I have kept it to myself for some time but if anything has come from these last days is that none of us knows when doom will rear its head.
The Lady Haleth herself I met only a few times, when negotiating the terms of her people’s dwelling, and found her to be a woman of brusque and bright countenance. Indeed, when I learnt of her dealings with you I thought that the pair of you must have gotten on like a house on fire, else hated each other entirely. But I digress.
It was upon one of those meetings when I saw a child, I reckoned at the time, perhaps five by the count of Men often about her dwelling. No husband she ever spoke of nor did I ask. The child had her likeness and hearing of the tradgey that claimed the rest of her family, I thought perhaps his father had perished with her kin.
In truth, I thought little of it at all until some years ago, on a visit to the city of Menegroth, when I found a youth milling about the edges of the Girdle. It must have been two hundred years since I’d last seen him, the Haladin had since had two chieftains but the boy looked no older than twenty. He named himself a changeling in his own tongue and told me his father was one of the Eldar.
Erestor he called himself in Sindarin for though he’d lived among his people, at on the request of his mother had not taken her title. Instead he stayed as a counseler for his cousin and later his children and grandchildren. (The translation is a bit off I deem but he having learned more seems loath to correct it and resistant to advice) Either way, wishing to learn more of his father’s people and had come to Doriath to see if he may by his blood be permitted. I spoke with him a while and finding him genuine in his desire, brought him with me and vouched for him before Elu Thingol, the King.
Since then he visits the city every few summers and then returns to his people before the snows set in. He has had little trouble of it, for his mother’s features hide much of his fathers heritage and he is wont to pass through, drawing as little attention to himself as he can. But I found him curious and upon further investigation and despite his protests to the contrary, I am certain his father is Noldorin. In fact, on those rare occasions he does smiles without restrain cousin - were it not for his quiet temperament I know he did not inherit from his mother - I would have wondered if he was your own.
At any rate, considering the time and circumstances I first found him, it's likely it is that his father is among your people. I can think of any number of reasons such a thing would have been hidden from offical records but I truly doubt it could have happened without your knowledge. To the point, I thought, especially in the chaos of these days, you might pass on some news of the boy’s well being. I have had news from Brethil, written in the the his hand, they are well, if overwhelmed with refugees from Dor Lomin. But he is safe. Perhaps that might comfort his kin in Amon Ereb. And perhaps you could tell him that his child is a scholar in training. That he is happy, as much as any of us can be, and untouched by doom or darkness. May he remain so.
I hope I have not overstepped in my assumptions. Always I have hesitated in speaking on this subject. I just have with the loss of don't want to leave anything unsaid that ought to be.
That is all.
As I detailed before, i have sent ahead letters pertaining to more practical means. I have no doubt in your prompt reply. I wish you well, cousin. May Tilion watch your steps before the Dawn breaks.

Fëanorians and their offspring.
Basically fairly random headcanons where Fëanor has nine grandchildren and his line does not die out.
Maedhros and Fingon marry and have baby Ereinion. In this AU, Maedhros does manage to find the twins Eluréd and Elurín, whom he kept under his care; he even baptizes them with names in Quenya.
Maglor adopts (kidnaps) the twins. Following canon, for a change. Although it turns out that Daeron and he fathered a child while they were still married. They divorced after Doriath, so Maglor never knew his husband was in waiting.
After the death of her beloved cousin, Celegorm keeps the only memory of her, baby Maeglin, at her request (Tugorn, who is Turgon?).
After a night of wine without measure, the always neat Caranthir spends hours in bed with Turgon, which results in little Erestor.
Curufin simply disappeared for a year and when he returned he had Telperinquar in his arms.
Amrod and Amras are the uncles who spoil their nephews.
Tumblr media
Space is limited, so I did not include the Feanorians' spouses. Husbands, or of course, in this AU they are queer.
These are completely random headcanons that come to mind.
The canon has gone to hell.

I detested every minute of drawing that horse, I will do it again!
Anyway, I hoped I would get this out before the end of the year, alas it became the first artwork of the year instead. It's the comic I mentioned in my wips notes, and yeah, I know it doesn't make much sense for Fëanor to not recognize Miriel but I needed it for the plot, okay 😭
Plot explanation + Nerdanel bonus under the cut:
Very well, I had this idea stuck in my head for a while due to my dissatisfaction with many post reembodiment fëanorian fic (don't get me wrong, I enjoy the heck out of those fics, they just happen to not fully scratch the itch) and how it's either the fëanorian basically throwing themselves to the ground to apologize to those they hurt, something I don't really see happening, apologizing requires a lot of vulnerability, it's something very raw that I just can't see the fëanorians being able to do right off the halls (and I'm not giving the Valar any credit *harunf*) or, it goes the opposite direction, and none of the fëanorians apologize at all and it's just accepted with at most some control from the Valar, I just can't accept this while also assume they just went back to their regular places in Tirion no problem besides some people being mildly mad at them.
So this was my concoction, the first two stories wouldn't be about Fëanor at all actually, it would be an Aretyel and a Curufinrod stories running concurrently:
The first one is about Aredhel not initially wanting to ever see Celegorm after he used her as a motivation to hurt Luthien, but after Maeglin reembodiement she thinks that if she can take her son back maybe she should give her former friend a chance.
The second is initially basically Curufinrod through the ages as Finrod decides to talk to Curufin despite his better reason saying otherwise, Curufin is at first very scathing and refuses any talk at all but after a difficult conversation with Ëarwen (which is mostly her calling him a bitch) Curufin decides to reevaluate his past with Finrod, eventually reaching Celebrimbor (who is a curufinrodion in this) and their complicated relationship
And then finally, the Fëanor one, it begins some time after the others already began but runs with them as well, the beginning is basically this comic, Fëanor arrives and finds no one besides the woman he doesn't know is Miriel and accepts staying with her rather than trying to talk with his brothers, the truth is that Vairë sent the wrong hour to Arafinwë so that Miriel would get time with her son (Miriel doesn't know this, she also thinks they just left Fëanor alone) (Vairë also thought that at most she would mildly inconvenience a perfectly well paid envoy that at most would get a disappointed look from the king, never imagining that Nerdanel would show up as well)
(Considering having shorted parts for Maglor, who already had his therapy sessions in Rivendell, meeting Maedhros and Elwing again, and another for Caranthir finding out that he and Haleth had a child, Erestor, and not knowing how to go about it)

20 questions for fic writers
Yoinked from the lovely @sallysavestheday and @melestasflight!
1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 65, though one is a compilation of unrelated short pieces.
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 199,601
3. What fandoms do you write for? Mostly Tolkien, though I have a few older bits and bobs from other fandoms hanging around.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos? In terms of kudos, my various Kidnap Fam stories are overwhelmingly my most popular:
A Stitch in Time (Elrond's life as seen by a quilt)
And They Looked Up and Saw a Star (Early-days Kidnap Fam WIP)
Root and All (Kidnap Fam feat. Maedhros, Elrond, and botany)
Speak No Evil (Kidnap Fam feat. Orkish lessons)
Little Drop of Poison (Kidnap Fam feat. injured Maedhros and healer Elrond)
5. Do you respond to comments? I try to respond to them all, but sometimes my responses are very late, especially if the comment comes when I'm having a depressive episode or a chronic illness flare-up.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Leaving aside unfinished multichaps that will have angsty endings but haven't gotten there yet, it's probably either The Hearts of the Eldar (the Third Kinslaying and all that it entails) or Pain Unbearable (Maedhros' death).
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Probably Half Past Ten in the Rose Garden (Caranthir/Caranthir's Wife engagement rom-com). Still debating whether I should add another chapter or wrap it where it is.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Only ever on fics featuring Fingon's wife. Some people get real heated about those.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I don't, nor do I read it. It's very much Not My Thing. I think the closest I've come is The Bed We Share (Fingon/Fingon's Wife, Fingon/Maedhros), which does have a sex scene, but it's not particularly detailed.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? No, though I do enjoy reading them on occasion. I'm going to take this opportunity to recommend Evidence by Camwyn on FF.N, which is the single most delightful crossover I've ever read. (Silmarillion/Discworld)
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! A kind reader translated Root and All into Russian, where it seems to have been moderately well-received, at least from what I can tell using Google Translate.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope. I suppose I'd be willing to give it a shot, but I do have Very Strong characterization opinions that might make it difficult.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Maedhros/Fingon! Though Elrond/Celebrian and Caranthir/Caranthir's Wife are close seconds, and Glorfindel/Erestor and Legolas/Gimli are very old and longstanding favorites as well.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Things ain't lookin' good for The Longest Journey I Have Known (Fingon's wife and Celebrian travel to Valinor). I am Extremely Stuck.
16. What are your writing strengths? Worldbuilding, character dynamics, and description.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? PLOT. God, I am so bad at come up with interesting plots. Also probably pacing, I need to improve in that respect.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I do it rarely -- in fact I think Maps might be the only Silmarillion story where I've done it. I included a Quenya translation of part of a Yiddish folk song, and in that case I had help from the Lizard Council, and particularly from the esteemed and dearly missed Darth Fingon, who looked over my translation and corrected a few errors.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Star Wars, back in, uh, 1999, I think? I've been doing this for a good 25 years.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written? Girl, that's like asking a mother to choose her favorite child! But if I absolutely must pick, it's probably The Flight of Birds, which features Elrond, newly arrived on Balar, dealing with his conflicted feelings about his mother.
Tagging @thelordofgifs, @vidumavi, @cuarthol, @swanhild, @leucisticpuffin, @emyn-arnens, @polutrope, @welcomingdisaster, @zealouswerewolfcollector, @that-angry-noldo, @thescrapwitch, @spiritofwhitefire, @swanmaids, @hhimring, @elfscribe, and anyone else who wants to share -- @ me and say I tagged you!

thinking about a discussion i saw this morning (please accept these very half developed ideas!) and i do think that part of the reason that the silmarillion fandom pays less attention to female characters (outside of misogyny, which is also a huge part of it) is that basically every single woman is a wife, and most of them are mothers?
i can't help but notice that the majority of popular male characters are unmarried and childless (looking at ao3 statistics, with the notable counter-examples of elrond, who is very often a child in fanfic, and feanor, arda's most divorced elf). which is possibly because many of the most influential male characters in the silmarillion are unmarried and childless, but it does feel a little disproportional.
some very disorganized thoughts on this phenomenon, presented with very little confidence because i'm just bouncing ideas around:
queer ships are far more popular in the fandom as it stands now, because it is heavily queer, and there is very little woman-to-woman interaction in the silm. the majority of the most popular m/m ships are based on some meaningful interaction between the characters. many of f/f ships involve characters that have never met (indis/miriel, finduilas/nienor) or have very limited interactions (thuringwethil/luthien). ------------ this does not explain, however, why m/m ships between people who have no interactions at at all (erestor/glorfindel, celebrimbor/maeglin, etc) routinely get more attention than f/f ships.
basically every woman's story is defined in relation to her husband's (and usually children). idril, i think, is the semi-outlier here (and to some extent aredhel). but even then -- the majority of the male characters, even if they are married, have a lot of story outside of their marriage/relationship (so much so that characters like finrod, fingon, and angrod can go from married with children to unmarried in some drafts have very little changed!). can that be said of any married female character in the text? i don't think so. once a woman in the silmarillion marries and has children, the progression of her story is almost always defined very heavily by her relationship to her husband and children. fingon rules the same and dies the same whether or not he has a wife and son -- idril's story would be very different without tuor and earendil. feanor gets to do a lot of things after his marriage to nerdanel -- fingolfin does very much after his marriage to anaire. both of the women disappear from the story once their marriages are no longer relevant. ---- here i will note that some male characters ARE heavily defined by their relationships to their families. turgon, whose motivations are very heavily based around the death of his wife and protecting his daughter, comes to mind. so does thingol, whose wife and daughter are equally central to his story. that said, neither of those characters is popular in fandom.
to expand on the previous point: characters whose main stories are romance stories, including male characters, do not tend to be very popular. earendil has just under 700 works on ao3. beren has just over 500. (elwing and luthien, for reference, have just over 700 and 800 respectively). despite our love for shipping, the fandom seems to be disinterested in parts of the book with a heavy romance focus. is it possible that the fact that nearly every single woman having a prominent romance arc "turns fandom off" them?
only four unmarried women come to mind as counter examples (watch me miss someone obvious). these are finduilas, haleth, findis, and lalwen. findis and lalwen are footnotes that disappear quickly from the story without being given much to do (which doesn't stop us with erestor or caranthir, but still). finduilas, despite being unmarried, is heavily defined by a tragic love triangle. haleth is the notable exception -- i would say she is more popular in fandom than many women, but less than most male characters. the only real explanations i can give for her getting so little fandom attention is misogyny/bias, the general fact that humans in the silmarillion get less love than elves in fandom, and and possibly her having little connection to any of the other popular characters outside of caranthir.
that being said, i do still think misogyny/the general fandom tendency to ignore female characters in favor of male ones is responsible for a good chunk of the difference. i also really welcome feedback on these thoughts because i feel very uncertain of them. the more i think about it, the more i can find counter-examples and outliers to a lot of the trends i'm talking about here -- perhaps i overgeneralized. is there no coherent analysis to be drawn here?
currently leaning in the direction of "this is a vague but not all-encompassing trend in the text, which affects fandom to some extent without explaining the preference for male characters and m/m ships entirely."

Hi Mina!!! Hope you've been doing well :) Can't believe summer is almost over :( anyways, after seeing the asks being sent in about your thoughts on characters and their backgrounds, I'm sending you an ask about Erestor today - what do you think is his background? Could he be the child of Caranthir and Haleth? Is he just a normal Noldor? A Feanorian follower? The steward at Amon Ereb who looked after Elrond and Elros with the Feanorians before the War of Wrath? What do you think?
Hi hi 👋👋. I mentioned this to my friend yesterday and I told her, “Yesterday was January and tomorrow's December. Blink and we're in 2024 next week.”. Honestly, this summer didn't feel like a summer due to the rate it went by 🥲
For your question, I can't really go into details for Erestor given him being a character I have less interest in. However, I will say that I simply see him as a regular Noldor who is stationed as Lord Elrond's advisor and librarian.
Truth be told, I was never on board with the theories that the fandom derived for him and all the other versions in the legendarium. I prefer to see him as a normal, ordinary elf after reading that every other elf came from some royal or special family (a little normalcy is healthy). Most likely born in the 2nd age and travelled to Imladris after it was discovered, and ended up staying there due to his already closeness with Lord Elrond and later became his librarian and advisor.

“Moryo! His ears show he is clearly not of the Eldar! Look, they barely hang! They are stiff!” accused Curufin when the three brothers found their fourth in his own champers before a lit fireplace, with the child curled up in his lap sleeping. “No, but if you had spent some more time with the Atani you would see that their children´s ears do not hang at all, and Moyo´s Yon´s does. If less than the Quendi,” Celegorm shrugged. “The Eldar you mean,” Curufin spat in, in a low barely audible voice.

Behold my first ever fanfiction
Tindómë Ch 1
Erestor gazed at Eilianniel serene expression, captivated by her every feature. Her eyelids fluttered gently as she dreamt, and a small smile graced her lips, making his heart skip a beat. In that moment, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming surge of affection for her.
As he continued to trace the contours of her face with his fingers, his mind wandered back to their passionate encounter. The memory of their intertwined bodies, the heat of their passion, and the deep connection they shared replayed vividly in his mind. He had never felt such an intense bond with anyone before, and he knew in his heart that Eilianniel was special.
Lost in his thoughts, Erestor's fingers gently brushed a strand of hair away from Eilianniel's face, revealing more of her beauty. Her presence brought him peace, and he cherished the times they spent together, whether they were engaged in deep conversations or simply enjoying each other's company. As Erestor lay beside Eilianniel, memories of the past flooded his mind once more, reminding him of the peculiar circumstances that led to their marriage. The alliance between his family and Eilianniel's Avari family had been a crucial move in securing borders and fostering relations between the Noldor and the Avari in Middle-earth. And so, their union was forged with the hope of creating a lasting bond between their peoples.
Erestor, though not of high birth himself, had proven his worth and loyalty time and again. His background as the child of a human concubine to a Feanorian prince was often a topic of gossip among the courtiers, yet his competence and dedication had earned him respect among those who mattered. The Avari, following their custom of matching the stars of birth, believed he was the perfect match for Eilianniel, and it was a decision that had significant consequences for both of them. In the beginning, there were those who ridiculed the Avari for their choice, dismissing Erestor as unworthy of such a marriage. They questioned why Eilianniel was not wed to someone of higher rank or lineage, someone more befitting of her noble birth. But, over time, Erestor's actions and commitment to his people began to silence the doubt.
He thought of his early life. He had been born into a world of war and strife, his life marked by the complicated circumstances surrounding his birth. The tales of his mother, Haleth, being called a seductress and blamed for breaking the sanctity of elven marriage haunted him. Some whispered that their love was true, a bond that transcended the rules of elves, but the judgment and stigma from others had left scars on his heart. His father, Caranthir, was a figure both loved and feared. Erestor knew his father cared for him, but his absence, occupied with military campaigns and other matters, left him feeling lonely and abandoned during his early years. The loss of his mother had been a devastating blow, leaving him with only fragmented memories and a lingering ache for the love he had lost.
Amidst the chaos of Middle-earth and the tumultuous family dynamics, Erestor had struggled to find his place. The disdain he faced from some of his elven kind only fueled his determination to prove himself worthy and rise above the prejudices directed towards him.
The news of Beren's daring act of stealing a Silmaril was a turning point in his life. It intensified the tension among his father and uncles, consuming them with rage and vengeance. It was during this time of making secret alliances that the decision for his arranged marriage to Eilianniel, his own wife, was forged. In the beginning, their marriage might have been driven by political expediency, but over time, it evolved into something deeper. They became each other's pillars of support, sharing their burdens and dreams, finding comfort and love amidst the chaos that surrounded them.
With Eilianniel, Erestor found the strength to confront his own demons and let go of the bitterness he held towards his elven heritage. He learned to appreciate the beauty and wisdom of the elves while embracing the strength and resilience of his human lineage.
The evil rise in Middle Earth again and once again his peaceful moments will be ruined. He has swore to never lift a sword again but he knows war drags everyone down so,he rises from his bed as sunlight enters his room because Imladris and it's lord needs him.

Turning to lay on his back, he looked up and saw standing above him, illuminated by the rising sun, an Edain woman, covered in blood and filth and Orc-guts and so utterly, breathtakingly beautiful that he was rendered unable to do anything but stare.

Posting my list of wips so that I may peer pressure myself into finishing them
(Unnamed, three part series, containing Curufinrod, Aretyel and Fëanel): Celegorm and Curufin (and eventually Fëanor) are out of the Halls and trying to figure out what to do with themselves, the meaning of apologizing and even forgiveness
10 pages (+ 4 bonus) comic that serves as introduction on aforementioned series (specifically Fëanor’s part)
(Maybe, very maybe, a fourth part to this series for Maedhros and Maglor, and mayyybe a fifth for Caranthir with Halenthir angst and secret love-child Erestor)
Fëanor son of Melkor Au: it may not look like it but I am working on this, mainly the kidnap fam 2.0 version of it, mostly trying to figure out what to do with Finwë while the wholesome family stuff is happening and how to balance Fëanor being a different person while also being recognizably him
Small comic strip on Fëanor son of Melkor au, currently too focused on the bigger one
(Modern Au, unnamed, also a three part, Curufinrod, Celeborn/Galadriel, Aretyel, not everyone is related): 1. Teen dad Curufin is too proud to ask his parents for help so he ends up rooming with his former neighbour Finrod 2. Everything is perfect for Galadriel so when one of her tests isn’t perfect she decides to get tutoring (there’s Amroth son of Celeborn) 3. Aredhel has an unfortunate one-night stand and decides to co-parent with her best friend since childhood Tyelko
Miscellanous of things not relating to Silmarillion or too small for a dedicated introduction
On consideration: E&E demi-gods au (with Earendil/Elwing/Maglor)
