TV: Ozzie

Hubo un primer intento en “That 70’s Show” (1998-2006, ocho temporadas), pero pareció tan nimio que desilusionó a quien quería ver más desarrollo para el personaje de Buddy Morgan, interpretado por Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Sólo participó en un episodio (”Eric´s Buddy”, capítulo 11 de la primera temporada) como compañero escolar de Eric Forman (Topher Grace), a quien le da un sorpresivo beso.

Un cuarto de siglo más tarde, con la continuación de aquella historia, otro grupo de adolescentes toma por asalto el sótano de los Forman (Kurtwood Smith y Debra Jo Rupp, nuevamente interpretando a Red y Kitty, padres de Eric) para pasar el rato mientras disfrutan las vacaciones de verano: Leia (Callie Haverda), hija de Eric y Donna, y desde luego, nieta de Red y Kitty; Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide), Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), hijo de Michael Kelso y Jackie, nuevamente interpretados por Ashton Kutcher y Mila Kunis; Nikki (Sam Morelos) y su novio y medio hermano de Gwen, Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan) y, desde luego Ozzie (Reyn Doi), un personaje que parece creado para “solucionar” la desilusión por Buddy.

Ozzie es, podría decirse, un “gay arquetípico”. Amante de los musicales y algo cáustico en sus aseveraciones, también sabe ser buena compañía para Leia, un chico leal. Ya ha salido del closet con sus amigos y ha tomado ese paso con Kitty, temeroso de encontrarse con alguien que lo rechace. el momento es hermoso y le demuestra que sus temores han sido infundados... hasta que se atreva a decírselo a sus padres. Sea cual fuere el resultado, sabe que no estará solo.

Eric Forman x F!Reader

Eric and Reader are dating. One day they go to the mall and one thing leads to another and they find themselves in a wedding shop.

(Y/N) POV

Today started out as a normal day. I walked over to my boyfriend, Eric Forman’s house and entered his basement. “Hey guys!”, I greeted as I took a seat in between Eric’s legs, who was sitting on the back of the couch. “Hey Dork”, Eric responded playfully shoving me. I quickly tried to push him off the couch but didn’t want to actually hurt him. After a mumbled “get a room” from Hyde, we settled down to watch Charlie’s Angels. “Man! Farrah Fawcett is hot!!” Kelso shouted earning a slap to the chest and a glare from Jackie. Kelso’s comment started a fight between the two which Hyde made worse with his witty responses to get his friend in even more trouble. After a few minutes of listening to the couple Eric suggested we get out of there. We hopped in the vista cruiser and headed to the mall. ”Let’s grab something to eat” I suggested. We walked over to the food court where I got a pretzel and Eric got a Cracker Jack box. Once I was done and Eric was nearing his prize we decided to do a little window shopping. Eric pulled out his prize and it was a shiny, fake, ring. It kind of resembled an engagement ring. Eric stepped in front of me got down on one knee and in a mock serious voice asked “(y/n) (y/l/n) will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” In my best, but awful, British accent I said “I do” The people in the mall thought it was real so they started clapping while Eric slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. “What shall we do now your highness?” Eric asked as we started walking through the mall again. My eyes caught sight of a wedding shop so I grabbed Eric’s hand and pulled him to the shop. “We just got engaged and want to try on a dress and suit as soon as possible” I lied to the lady. After picking out a few different dresses and suits Eric and I headed to the changing rooms. “Isn’t this like bad luck or something?” Eric asked nervously. “I don’t know” I shrugged. Struggling to put my dress on I asked Eric to zip me up. With my back to him he gingerly zipped up the dress I had on. I turned around and it felt like I was in a movie. Eric was dressed in the classic black and white tux that hugged his body perfectly in all the right places. His bow was a little crooked so I reached up and fixed it.

Eric’s POV

When (y/n) turned around it was like time stopped. She looked so beautiful in the white laced dress she was wearing. The dress showed off all her curves beautifully. I was so stunned I didn’t even move when she reached up to fix my bow tie. I was standing there like an idiot with my mouth a gap. I looked like a fish out of water trying to say something but no words could define her beauty. I noticed she started to blush. In that moment I knew I had to marry her. For real.

(Y/N) POV

After we left the mall and Eric was driving home I turned to look at Eric and he still had a stunned look on his face. He hadn’t said a word since he saw you in the dress and it had started to worry you. “Are you okay?” I asked. No response. “Eric?” Nothing. Now I was really worried. What if trying on the dress really was bad news? What if I scared him? He’s young. I’m young. Swallowing softly I say “Eric? Please say something?” For a split second Eric took his eyes off the road and spoke “One day, not now, but one day would you really want to marry me? Like me. Eric Forman. Well known dumbass. Would you actually marry me and have kids with me and do all the boring adult stuff?” I could tell he was nervous. He was fidgeting. His fingers absentmindedly drumming on the steering wheel waiting for a response. I took one look at him and I knew that he was going to be the one. The one I marry. The one I have kids with. The one I do boring everyday adult things with. “If that is your way of proposing then no but if you come up with something better then I’ll think about it.” I say with a grin on my face showing him I’m joking. “Yes, Eric. One day, not now, but one day I’ll marry you and we’ll get all wrinkly together.” Eric looked at me a smiled “good because I would need to start on a back up plan if you didn’t.” Laughing we both decided to keep this day to ourselves. A memory and a story for another day.
