Accidentally discovering then watching this video was one of the happiest days of my life.
A little backstory first. When Harmoncountry went around, I knew I had to do something. Dan made a story (Community) that taught me, and the rest of us, to live, laugh, and most importantly, love. He was owed my best. So I decided the best thing to give is what he gave me. That’s when Iowahuasca was born. He expanded my mind, so I hoped I could help expand his. So off we went to Wisconsin! The show was done (Which was amazing and I finally got to see the little baby kick dance) the go-pro was off my head, and we partyed as Harmenians do. I was so scared of Dan that I waited until everyone else went. It was cute because he was eating while talking so I offered to leave him be to eat, but he wouldn’t let me. He made me feel important. Kinda like how Robin Willaims always made everyone around him feel more special than himself.
Anyway, we hugged, I apologized for my Twitter rants, and he signed our copy of You’ll Be Perfect When You’re Dead. But I had one more surprise left in store (And not the five dollar tip I snuck into Spencer’s pocket. We actually had been playing a game with it all night. I tried to pay for his autograph but he wouldnt accept it so we did a cat and mouse game with the bill. It was adorable.) We thanked Dan, Kaitlin told him how much his rapping had improved (Which he didn’t believe of course :P) and we went on our way. As we did though, I walked over to one of the technicians and asked if he could do me a favor to surprise Dan and the rest of the crew (I would’ve gave it straight to him but more people had come up to talk.). That’s where this story segues back into the video. That gift? Iowahuasca (It didn’t come from the dead pile.:). I told them how to use it, answered their questions, and wished them luck.
A year later I was browsing through Spencer’s old Youtube videos and came across this gem. It made me jump for joy, cry, and thank Something all at the same time. There’s nothing better than giving. It’s the best gift of all.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

RIP Harmontown.
Also, in case anyone in the CK fandom is interested, the brunette in the bottom left picture is Randee Heller’s daughter.

A #GIF for the latest @thisfeelsterrible ep, where @erinmcgathy & @alisonspittle discuss the torture of ghosting, the difficulties of growing up in a small town, body image issues, young love & more! It's a feelings packed episode! Listen here: feralaudio.com/88-alison-spittle/ If you've ever been ghosted, it hurts like a butt & makes you a bit insane, so I definitely drew inspiration from this part of the conversation.

Ep 501 Wild Mountain Thyme by The Irish Times Women's Podcast .... When the trailer for Wild Mountain Thyme was released late last year, it was immediately met with widespread criticism, not only for its delusional depictions of modern Irish life, but for its dodgy Irish accents and over the top Paddywhackery. Written and directed by John Patrick Shanley, the film is based on his play Outside Mullingar, which ran on Broadway in 2014. It stars Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan as Rosemary and Anthony, two lonely souls who have grown up beside each other on neighbouring farms. Completing the star studded cast is Jon Hamm and Christopher Walken. After keeping us waiting for almost six months, the film was finally released to Irish audiences on April 30th. We invited comedian Erin McGathy and journalist Jenn Gannon to watch the movie and share their thoughts and observations with Róisín Ingle on today’s episode.

Were I to start drinking again I would need to find people who want to talk absolute nonsense for the rest of the night. Everybody does their Hannibal/Dan Harmon/Tom Walker/Erin McGathy/Demi Lardner impression and we... I just described an improv class.
I want to be on the island because it's chill, but for social and work and brain purposes I need to be on the mainland. If I could just do adrenaline sports to be happy it'd be great here. But I gotta get real weird with it or I won't be happy.
I've been talking with a friend on Instagram who's having a hard time and I make her laugh. I like doing that.
