Here are my first batch of sketches! I apologize if the text is very light or sloppy looking, when I’m drawing I’m not thinking of anyone reading but me lol! Below are text and translations as well as context.

1 + 2.) Simply wanted to draw bara Paps in my style but with daisy dukes, no I’m not going to apologize. (1.) Bara Papyrus aka BEEFCAKE)(2. Hood instead of scarf)(3. Daisy dukes)

3.) Small doodle* Money being a little shit n getting caught stealing Mutts (sf!red paps) cash, I hc Money being very skilled at pickpocketing and being able to get into almost anyone’s pockets without noticing, until recent moments..

4.) Small doodle*anotha one. No im just playin lol but just two swapfell Sans’ minding their business not much to say on this page considering it’s so empty! I do wanna say I used a ref for Maroons jacket cause I couldn’t for the life of me remember how exactly leather looked on paper, references are truly a blessing.

5+6.) Finally! A warm up doodle of Sans that turned into a skelesona spread🌚. In truth I always told myself I would never make one of these because of cringe, but let’s be honest this is a self insert tumblr how much lower can I get😂. All jokes aside I made this in inspiration to @absurdmageart ‘s fic Making a Monster bc that fic is SO GOOD!!!! Probably some of my favorite interpretations of some of the skeletons! Especially the swapfells, I feel like they never get enough love 💔. Anyways,, I decided to keep her with a human soul even though she’s technically a skelesona, I kinda wanted to pay homage to the fic (even though I can’t really remember if Lisa had a human soul or not it’s besides the point). She was obviously very shook when the transformation first took hold, but after a few days you can see she’s adjusting fine(especially when she finds out limbs are detachable and pain free~)(1.First day, Skelesona lmao, “oh god”, “Y’all look what I can do lol”, “Y-you guys?!”) (a lot of the stuff on this spread is just rambles and such so most can go ignored)

a flee response as atp soldat oc lmao. Man with fastest reaction (enough to catch falling colleague before they break their bones, or pull them away from bullets. He does it quite often.) Feel free to doodle my guy or draw them interacting with your ocs i guess. more info:

a nervous touchy animal who'll just run away if he is being yelled at or insulted too hard (being yelled at by allies and superiors feels much worse for guy than any loud noise or gunfire. poor thing) And even breaks windows to jump away from any height and floor. He really doesn't care and ABSOLUTELY ain't afraid of height. Luckily manages to survive. Fucking gymnast-acrobat. But how annoying he is. TO WORK WITH. You just stand close. sneeze at him not gently enough and HE DISAPPEARS. He gets along with colleagues pretty well... Well, by my AAHW metrics. He isn't popular or favorite, but he gets along with others pretty well and nobody avoids him. He is seen as very non-threating and weak. Or cute. However they call it. He is also pretty tactile (may occasionally try to hold hands or hug someone) and gentle in general, friendly fella. Gets along with mags pretty well and tried to comfort one when saw first time. Extremely good at chasing. Somehow manages to bounce around busy roadways and not become a pancake in the road, getting in windows, getting out, survive and not die on missions. Can do tricks on bicycles cooler than many bikers on motorcycles and usually steals any transport of that kind (but gentle enough to put it back after using). Very expercienced as someone who is being chased. Flee just runs out of AAHW casually without even any plan if triggered, breaks any shit on his way on impulse. And then gets back because Flee doesn't really know how he would survive, doesn't have a plan, and really don't want to leave job. Or, well, gets captured by agents and not even getting so far. His hair was torn out by other soldat who tried to capture him at first attempt to run away, but got kicked (Dan). They're becoming bffs later. Why he got such a weird reaction? Well. In my au every atp gets +- unique programs and modifications which makes them extremely mentally ill useful in different ways lol. ATPs gets their brain messed up and minmaxed in worst and unnatural ways, that's why many scared of it. Amnesia also isn't a good part. Flee was created in AAHW, and his modification ruined his fear-response, too much training created steel reflexes like unavoidable instincts, and messed ability to recognize threats. Guy is very fearless about combats, heights, insane tricks, absolutely doesn't care about risks of breaking any bone or dying (still will do a lot so colleagues won't), but will shit himself from fear and overwhelm if you just say smth mean to him loudly. If it would be done by few grunts he will get nightmares and flashbacks even. Because his sense of being punished and shame is also messed up. For the good of AAHW, of course. At first he was threatened and insulted a lot for this defect, because everyone was confused, then he was used on a trainings because damn he's like a cockroach. And then he was given a little safe place to run in it and not just out of aahw on the streets. aka personal space lmao, until they find out to fix it. But many coworkers find doing little pranks and scaring him funnier because the reaction is just too funny with all that jumping on highest surface in room, or running on all walls and then comedically hit head and FALL. Aaand he doesn't beat them up for it, he just runs as first reaction. Can even bump right into the agent who did it, like an NPC trying to run in a wall, pushing the poor guy like a fucking box in a videogame. Extremely funny idiot. So yeah he gets a lot of occasional jokes for not being aggressive enough. Not to coworkers. :D

Final refs incoming! Hope you enjoy big ol' beefcakes because we got three! :D It took me over a month to finish the Gol3ms.

I decided to give them a blue tint to envoke a sense of partial decomp, as these two are made from the flesh of various grunts. Plus we do not know how fresh the corpses used were, or if they were preserved at all. These designs are based on previous sketches and designs I had made for them. :)

When making this big fellow, I decided I had to give him even more muscle groups than others, due to sheer size. Especially on the legs and upper arms. This entire project was fun and a good excercise for my anatomy skills and research into muscle groups.

Omg Krystal, these are amazing! :D Church and Jorge are looking good; I love how you detailed their stitches and included a more "deathly" looking skin tone to show their G03LM traits. Plus, I also really like how you used the metal plates from their original designs here, it fits really nicely. (Also, this is more minor, but Church's hair is A++, I love the longer back to it lol.)

The sketches are also adorable, as always. I literally caught myself thinking "Haha those rascals :)" unironically, so you definitely characterized them very accurately lmao.

Finally, we got the best boy Torture! First off, I can see how much detail you put in with his anatomy, and given his status as a MAG, it makes sense. The skin that grunts have also is also quite stiff, so the fact that his muscular structure is so visible can be attributed to that as well. (It's likely even more accentuated by it being like Kevlar. Which I'd imagine is also pretty painful, thanks AAHW.) Also, as someone who struggles with drawing anatomy, I really appreciate the work that you put in to do it so accurately here. The attention to detail is always spectacular, but this is something else haha. <3

Of course, we have to mention the little doodles too, and my favorite is definitely the one of the engineer and agent telling him about the Player. There's just something a bit comical about how far Torture has to stoop down just to listen to them, but I also really like how it emphasizes the differences between him and normal-sized grunts. I also find the interactions you drew of him actually with the Player really cute; he's just sort of a big cat around them, and I love how soft he is shown as being towards him. These were just great, and I love them very much. Thank you!! ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡♡♡

Just like talking abt my guys… first ref w Lawrence specifically! He’s so funny to me idc. Was sort of a sidekick/ally to Sierra’s mom, and his whole thing was just being rlly fast LMAO. Speedster if u will… he managed to run himself into the future and at some point during Sierra’s Bplt era ran himself back and just retired as soon as he found Paige, one of the last living ppl in his family besides ppl out of state. He’s living comfortably to say the least!!! Paige also is good friends w Leah and Sierra!

Ellie oohh… lovingly married to Cal and a proud choir teacher fr! Loves her students a ridiculous amnt! Her shtick is being able to control certain parts of ppl, which she’s still working towards LMAO, but she mainly sticks to vocal cords, eardrums and parts of the brain related to speech. She managed to let herself go crazy w her voice without hurting anything and has a craaazy range LMAAOO.

T.V. and Carmen…. Carmen specifically is a menace on her blog, which she purely posts abt the latest hero/villain news, including drama shit and general news happening. T.V. is her little sidekick and manages to get whatever info they need, though she has a very easy time doing it on her own. Cam also runs the yearbook club and does the same damn thing with her own school. T.V. is much more chill and aspires to be a big comic artist, very much taking inspo from ppl like the Blaukers :-)). They also have a secret dream of hosting some sort of television segment or show LOL.

The Blaukers… both retired from being comic artist/writers interchangeably but Chris is more seen from his art and Bobby’s more seen from his writing. They met from both starting comic series abt Carolina’s Bolt, and eventually started to make the series together, making probably the most memorable series of any real-time hero. They sort of got the trend of it going as well, but at some point retired due to realizing that it was a bit immoral to treat heroes that way LMAO. They’ve been lenient on speaking on the issue seeing how more modern heroes act but are still very invested in the comic industry, even if they aren’t directly in it. Definitely caught in what’s going on and know everything happening with everyone

Kyra and Sean yaaayy! Not much to say abt them, but Sean is Sierra’s step brother and the both of them have always had a big influence on both Sierra and Luka. Mostly Luka when he was still with the family!

Chief Frye is just funny i just like thinking abt her sometimes

A Wee Bit of Catching Up With This Mess

Soooo originally this was going to be a big post on my main tumblr blog @abyssforphantoms , but I got thinking about it and it just made more sense to make this on it's own blog and repost it over there if I feel like it... instead of spamming my main with this au stuff.

Anyway, Welcome to the mess that is my brain and They Came From The Deep Au. I will not be going too deep into the story in this post, but will do a short summary and explain my prosses behind my decent into madness with the various stuff I have accumulated for it over the year.

Summary:

After the final quest the Abyss Crew was fine. Cannoneer was back, safe with the rest of the crew, and they have gotten what they wanted when they went down to those accursed depths (even though they almost didn't make it back if it weren't for the skykid). So everything should be fine, back to status quo... right?

Well it was for a bit.

Then strange stuff started happening.

Supplies keep disappearing and shifting around the reef. The members of the crew feel like they are being watched from a distance, and the sea almost seems more restless. Every one has a sense of unease...

None more so then Cannoneer,

because of the weird dreams they keep having, and now the crew is saying they did things they didn't do. It was like they were at two places at once.

Then they saw it-them from a distance... they looked almost exactly them! but something was off...

Now it's up to Cannoneer to figure out what is going on, what does this doppelganger (a.k.a Doppelneer or Cannondoppel) want and convince the crew this isn't another one of their "embellished stories".

Meanwhile other things deep down start to stir... and they aren't going to be as "friendly".

And yes Doppelneer will be a big part of this post

"What if the doppelganger wasn't nessasarly evil but thought they were the person and the person they are a doppelganger of was a doppelganger that took over their life, thus kinda wanting to sabotage the person's life a little?"

I would like to draw a lot more :D I think it's a lot of fun to look at historical eras and try to make parallels and connections!(either through my OCs or my F1 boys) But god, when I look at old paintings for ref, the level of detail in the clothing is a bit scary... but I still think it's very interesting to do research into it and design it :)

Bit of historical rambling:

I said in the tags that this AU could really only be Vettonso, and I will explain why. I mean obviously at first, I was only comparing that statue to Seb because uhhhh he looks like Seb!!! But I researched a bit more into that era and guess what's happening at this point: The Spanish War of Succession. Which was when the Spanish Throne was up for grabs, and the two main candidates were a Spanish Duke and an Austrian heir to the Holy Roman Empire. See where I'm going with this?

But the Spanish Duke ends up getting the throne, rightfully, but the Austrian ends up becoming the Holy Roman Emperor even though he wasn't first in line, so who really won in the end!

Lmao I think this AU would end up being: well, guess how we can reunite the Austrian and Spanish bloodlines again....arranged marriage plot!! Canon Divergence in both the matters of them being replaced with Vettonso and also with the war not happening

God help me, I read way too much about the Habsburgs, I blame my trip to Austria 🤧 My German prof, who is from there, always seems kinda proud of the history so I wonder what he'd think if he knew I was looking into it this much....and bastardizing it

⭒ Up first is decafcoffee00 - decaf's art is so next level, everything is so SHAPE and there's personality in every line istg. Surprisingly, this one didn't fight me as much as I expected! I don't think it's half bad, and I had an easier time w/ this one than any other lol, but fr if you're not following him uhhh you should <3

⭒ The next to the right, minksinty - phenom's art inspires me SO so much, the way they colour things is absolutely stunning and life just flows through it, even the doodles! I think this one is probably the one I did the worst on lol, idk! It just doesn't seem to have any of the right energy, but it'd be more than worth it to do a more thorough study bc uhhh absolutely gorgeous art fr

⭒ And the third in the top row, bonetrousledbones - the only one I've actually tried before! So I had a liiitttle more familiarity with it, but it's such a fun, super expressive style. Their art just seems to translate the characters feelings and personalities so strongly, it's like. A narrative art style. If I had more time and focus I'd have loved to do a full body shot like this, especially to get more into studying their Clothes Technique, of which they are a master in their craft !!

⭒ Now on to the bottom row✨ jnpie - this one is small bc I was so happy w/ the first sketch I didn't want to try making it bigger and having it get all fuzzy lmao, but! Jnpie's style is so cute and like. Idk what would be a good word for it, sincere? It really is an expression, and you can feel how much they put into their art just by making it, it's just so -gestures emphatically in a positive way-. This is also the only one that didn't have a direct ref to look at! So pls forgive any discrepancies 🙏

⭒ On to the right, savestar - her art always exudes such a softness to me? Almost like a somberness that I don't quite know how to describe but its sooo pretty and makes their stuff feel very nostalgic when you look at it. It probably comes in second for the ones I struggled w/ a bit and feel I couldn't quite capture, but you can make the judgement for yourself by checking out and following her :*)

⭒ And last but certainly not least, owl-bones - this one was very fun, I'm not sure how obvious it is but his art has definitely been an influence on whatever direction mines taken for how I draw these bone boys, as it should! Rayne's art is sooo cool and pretty and this is another style I'd love to try doing a full body shot w/, the way he poses and draws clothes is so fluid and appealing and !!!

azalea loves her parents!!! DESPITE how much work she's left to deal with... she knows her parents are working so much because they want to keep their clothes shop open, (despite the decline of customers) so she doesn't blame them because she has a similar passion when it comes to her own lil shop... they have both been explorers in the past, and when they stopped doing that they still kept travelling around to know more about fashion found in different areas and cultures, but that was many years ago.. they have a lot of stories and knowledge from their trips, but due to them settling down in a pretty isolated place for many many years they have started to become a bit out of touch lmao

they took azalea's transition super well....her isolation from the world outside the forest caused her to worry about her feelings, since she'd never heard about pokémon transitioning before... however her parents were really good at reassuring her that people like her actually exist in the world! however they weren't able to memorize everything, so for a long while azalea didnt even know what trans people are called lmao

(her first trans friend made sure she knew though lol)

this is getting really long so i'll spare the details of each parent for when they have proper refs... but here's a little doodle of her mom, Flora :]

SADIE SADIE SADIE I HAVE AN IDEA

Imagine Lauren... but in the Mum swap au

Kaisa would know about her probably since she and Johanna were close friends but would she try and look for Lauren? What happens when Lauren comes back, and it threatens the life she’s had to build with Hilda?

(If you don’t know what Mum swap is please ignore my rambling, I just have a lot of brain rot today XD)

Soooo I was really hyped to get this ask because I LOVE mumswap, but then I forgot about it for ages LMAO. Anyways, Caleb and I talked about a few different ways Lauren could be incorporated into the AU, and we ended up with around three options I think, but in the end, we came up with this-

Lauren runs away at the same time as she does in her canon timeline - before Hilda is born, and before Johanna leaves Trollberg. So she was gone before the whole Johanna-gets-deathly-sick-and-Kaisa-steals-a-child thing, meaning she has no idea she even has a little sister. She leaves for similar reasons to her canon, which I won’t get into because they might conflict with the mumswap timeline (see this is what I meant in this post when I said Lauren is THIS close to breaking the timeline). Her time in the wilderness doesn’t change, as this doesn’t involve any mumswap characters, it’s when she comes home that the changes become more prevalent -

Lauren comes home and reunites with Johanna a while after Hilda and Kaisa come to Trollberg, but before any Johanna-is-Hilda’s-bio-mum reveals. The kids know The Librarian fairly well at this point, well enough to be reasonably surprised when a grown woman claiming to be her daughter shows up out of nowhere

But Johanna quells any of their worries - and she’s delighted to have Lauren back, and given everything she’s lost, she’s….a little protective (and very affectionate)

With all that in mind, Lauren becomes a familiar face around the library, and many other parts of Trollberg, as her endless hunt for a stable job leads her all around the city. She adores Hilda and the kids, and is always happy to help them out on their adventures.

In terms of how this effects Kaisa-

We thought it would be fun to go the comedic route with this

Lauren and Kaisa know eachother, which means in order for shit not to hit the fan, the two of them can’t meet. However unlike Johanna, Lauren is not confined to the Library, so they’re more likely to come in close contact. But by some insane coincidence, they keep just missing eachother

Hilda, doesn’t notice anything off about this, she has no reason to believe she’s connected to The librarian or her daughter. As for Kaisa…

Yeah there may be a slight communication issue there

Lauren, of course, isn’t sceptical either, why should she suspect anything from the cute little girl who frequents the Library? There’s nothing suspicious about any of this

As you’ve probably notice by this point, Lauren’s design changes for the mumswap au! This post is pretty long already so I won’t include it here, but I do have a full ref for her! And I’ve got at least one more doodle I’m working on for this AU…

You’ve probably already noticed this but for this ask and the upcoming ref, I incorporated aspects of @calebs-hangout-corner’s style! It was very fun to do, and I really like this style so I’ll probably steal some of this stuff permanently :))

Heyo, so I got a Deltarune thingy

I put this up before hand, and decided to put it back up here! It’s a mouth full to explain so I might as well just sorta sum it up the best I can without diving too much into it. It was sorta this fangame idea/ AU that takes place during PRE-Deltarune. Course, I knew I’d never have the motivation to ever make the game, lmao

I bring you,

TALE OF TWO BIG SHOTS (yes, I made a very shitty comic for this, lmao)

So, the premise is fairly simple. The story starts with Addington G. Addington trying to become a [[BIG SHOT]], and there’s even a beginning segment similar to the vessel maker, but you’re trying to design a product to sell before Spamton scraps it and heads to the Cyber grill. 

Back to the topic, you eventually meet this young little lad who wants to learn how to sell things. Why does this young, aspiring program turn to a barely known salesman? Because the other Addisons either didn’t want to put up with teaching a kid, or they truly were just too busy. Or they just didn’t even know where to start.

So, the desperate kid asks Addington (He isn’t called Spamton until what basically amounts to Act 3/The Fall of Spamton) for their help in becoming a salesman! Addington, of course, accepts. The kid wants to be a big shot like him, who is he to crush his dreams? Besides, if the kid becomes successful, so does Addington, and Addington was getting lonely anyway. So, Addington takes in “Sponge” (This is his nickname for him, since the kid absorbs information like, well, a sponge.)

While the story itself is in three acts, each going over the span of Spamton’s rise, triumph, and ultimate downfall, you also get to see Spamton have a friend! That’s the best part! 

Sponge, I imagine, would end up being the support character of the party. Think of Ralsei. He kinda looks like Ralsei, actually. It’s funny how that works, lmao.

I’m honestly kind of excited to see what you all think. And as much as I don’t wanna spoil the real name of “Sponge,” it’s sorta inevitable when I eventually post the ref, lmao.

Either way, I think I’ve rambled on for long enough. Hopefully, you fellas like my shitty doodles.

DragonTale Sans ref/notes!!!

Ok so, I haven’t really been able to bring myself to draw much due to a recent surgery and being out of it. But!!! I was feeling better today and decided to finish up this doodle page for DragonTale! Here are some of the anatomy notes, as per usual! I’ll be going more in to detail about Snowden accomidations and stuff as well, cause I have to split a lot of the anatomy between Sans and Paps lmao.

ANYWAYS:

Notes:

- Out of all the dragons I’ve designed, Sans and Pap are some of the most chimera like. They both have a LOT of inspirations for structure and aesthetic because nothing is really quite like a Gaster Blaster. For example, Sans is mostly comprised of an unholy mix of Felidae, Ursa, Primate, and whatever the fuck a oppossum is traits. There are also some influences from lizards and porcupines.

- Speaking of porquipines, let’s talk about those back spikes. They are usually relaxed, but flare up when he’s experiencing an extreme emotion or using magic. Each spine can raise, if not only slightly. At the upper portion of the tail they dull out before stopping completely.

- He has a prehensile tail! It’s strong enough that he can hang (and sleep) upside down like a bat! That, combined with his sharp clawed paws and smaller build allows for him to climb very easily. He’s practically built for the trees, and naps in them more often than naught.

- He’s only 4’8 tall and 5’ long at the hip. From snout to tail tip though, he’s a good 8’6! So, at least he’s got that going for him!

- His fire power is a... difficult process. Sans can’t exactly open his mouth wide enough to allow for a beam of raw magic to get though. At the very least, not without disintegrating his teeth. Luckily, his skull can separate into 3 separate pieces! Baisically, his jaw unhinges then separates at that middle crack, allowing for and easy shot. It makes a lot of gross cracking noises and is very unnerving to watch.

- Instead of knocking using his paws, he uses his tail to whump against the door! It’s even gotten a few small cracks from particularly eager jokes.

- His eyes dialiate and restrict like a cat’s! They also grow brighter or dimmer depending on mood and energy!

- His power set is also the same, albeit some of the actions used are slightly different. Telekinesis is a lot harder when you have to use your head or tail to direct the blows.

Ok!! Now some facts about Snowden town:

- It’s much more spread out than in game, with the woods pressing in tighter at all sides.

- Most of the houses are closer to primitive shacks and burrows, thanks to most residence lacking hands.

- Grilby’s is one of the few actual buildings, but is closer to a Medieval style tavern.

- The most advanced building in town actually belongs to the skelebros. It’s like. Literally the same as in game but slightly bigger and with more grooves from Papyrus’s massive horns. No one knows how they built it because neither of them have hands.

- Also here’s a picture of what Lesser Dog looks like this in this Au. It’s important.

Hello! Not sure if you will see this but just wanted to say that you're art is amazing! Anyways hope you're doing well and if it's not too much to ask, do you have any tips for beginners artists?

hi anon!! omg this means the absolute world to me idek what to say 😭I'm so honored you like my art, thank you so sO much aaaaa and I hope you're doing well too!

as far as advice, everyone's art process is different, but there are a few things I live by for art that have always helped me! (this unintentionally got pretty long, so I put it under a break lol)

the first thing is that it's probably tempting to try to develop a style right away, but you've gotta learn the rules before you break them, so whatever subject it is you wanna learn- people, animals, etc- do lots of studies with references!! no matter what anyone tells you, refs are not cheating. they're a valuable tool, bc you can't draw something unless you understand what it looks like!

something else that's helped, especially when i'm drawing something new or unfamiliar, is to do a warmup doodle or two before I start. it's something very messy and low-pressure that I don't have to worry about getting perfect; in my case, it's usually a cat face bc i grew up drawing cats LOL but it can basically be anything! not only will it warm you up and loosen your wrist, but I've found it can also help lower the pressure of approaching your actual piece.

since this is getting long (sorry! lmao) the last thing I'll offer is this, n i'd argue it's the most important one: as an artist, especially a new one, it can be really hard not to compare yourself with other artists, and their journeys. but your own journey will be a lot more fun if you remember along the way that your journey and their journey are completely different. if it's okay, i'd like to share a quote from page 34 of the book Art and Fear by Daniel Bayles and Ted Orland (which I'd absolutely recommend giving a read, because it's full of incredible advice, and it's affected my art journey in a really positive way.)

"But the important point here is not that you have —or don't have — what other artists have, but rather that it doesn't matter. Whatever they have is something needed to do their work —it wouldn't help you in your work even if you had it. Their magic is theirs. You don't lack it. You don't need it. It has nothing to do with you. Period."

simply put i adore louis and i like purple and it just rolled off the tongue lol, but i also had a list of possible urls i also liked and i had to snatch this one up while i could!

yes i have four....i'm not one of those 'everything goes on main and you can deal with it' type people.... but i have an inspiration blog @prickelndauge (art insp, lots of fashion, cool photography), an art-only blog @swmpwxtch, one just for spooky/creepy content because i'm really into horror manga and scary movies and that kind of stuff but i keep it off of main because i know a lot of it can often be triggering to others! (i also don't post much there but @bonepickng) and one for art references, life tips, random resources, and more donation sharing @am-ref!

soooo long i thought i'd be gone by now tbh. i know i signed up in 2011 after just browsing the site through random blogs and tags for ages, but i didn't start actively using my own account until early 2012!

when i actually remember to tag things i have queued i'll use 'i'm sleep queue' because all my early morning posts everyday are queued....i am an insomniac rip

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

keeping up with my interests better! i was like 15/16 at the time so it made sense. back in Ye Olde Days much like now—i really have come full circle lmao—it was mostly just for 1d and then some random tv shows/franchises i just to see content of semi-often, as well as finding cool art!

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

rn it's just a regular pic of louis! as much as i like using my collages or little edits as my icons, you can't see much of anything and it looks too busy sometimes (but also the photo i have rn....i am always thinking thoughts about it soooo)

7. why did you choose your header?

it's pretty! i wanted everything to follow a color scheme + i love embroidery and fancy gowns!

ok i thought it was gonna be one of my old larry chibi doodles because i know a few of them hit 1k+ notes, but i deleted those in 2017 and apparently now it's this 6 year old like....funky photo study i did of dan howell from 2015 when i still watched him and amazingphil a lot?? i mean at least it's something i was once proud of lmao....there's a few art posts i have with semi decent notes that i pretend i Do Not See

in the past i have had some....issues with other people i've met on here but never directly had confrontation with them? most of the time that's happened i figure it's been one-sided though because i can get irritated with certain behavior really quickly—like i always say my heart is big and open but my bullshit tolerance is dangerously low—but when that's the case i'll just unfollow or block without saying anything?

although back in the day there was one instance (and seriously if anyone remembers this you deserve a medal because this shit was Ridiculous) where i kinda but not really called out another 1d fanartist who posted untagged noncon fanart they'd done of at least two of the boys, and then acted like it was no big deal (like. 1. those are irl people my dude and 2. untagged noncon art?? in front of my salad??) and their friends kept defending them for it and tried to come for me claiming i was a proponent of Purity Culture when i'm not and literally all i said in my post on it was that in my own opinion it was kinda fucked up to draw noncon art of real life people—not characters played by actors! but actual real people as themselves—in the first place, but if you felt the need to post highly triggering content like that the least you could do was tag it accordingly

but i think that was the last time properly so i guess times within this fanbase are still chaotic as ever just in a different way?

[04/14/21] - This isn’t really new art, but I started to work on giving the four OCs of mine without a full name full names... I have not finished this bit, though. So Hunter and Akira have full names, and Warlock and Assassin only have temporary names. This may end up like Seven where I put in their names as a temporary name (7th OC I’d made at that time) and it just kind of... sticks. Lmao.

[04/20/21] - Alone on a Friday Night? God, you’re pathetic. I didn’t colour this one because it was a half-attempt at a meme image I still like it, though, so I might end up colouring it. It’s gonna appear again whenever I do my “unfinished drawings art dump” at some point probably in... June? I know I said I’d post them last month but forget it, lmao, it’ll happen eventually.

[04/20/21] - A D&D Map! This was to help me visualize the layout of my D&D character’s ship he used to be on. Also for my DM if they ever put us aboard the ship. The little fella in the corner is just there to vibe. This map is made of free to use assets from This Website, so while I’m gonna say DONT USE MY MAP WITHOUT PERMISSION, feel free to make your own!

[04/26/21] - Lesbian Day of Visibility drawing of yours truly, the disapointment! That’s... really all I have to say about this, honestly. It was just for that one day and that was it, lmao. I mean, I accidentally lined it in dark pink, so.. .That’s different, I guess?

[04/30/21] - Do Astral Seas dream of Ensorcled Sheep? Does the City know what Sheepleb is going to do? What crimes he may commit? Who knows! This was fan art of Critical Role ep. 134 if I remember correctly, right at the end when they jumped into the portal into the astral sea and Caleb was a sheep. Using my knowledge of the German language, I knew the word for “shit”, and had to use it.

[05/07/21] - This was already posted, but it’s going in here to dilinuate that it was drawn at this point. Also, aside from playing Miitopia, this is all I have to show for myself until the 12th.

[05/12/21] - Hex Maniac Ender challenges you to a Pokemon Battle! WIll you win against my team? My sis, who loves fairy types, pointed out to me that there’s a fairy girl and hex maniac duo, so I’d be the hex maniac. I spent... Over a week drawing this, because I basically had to redraw the Hex Maniac art from scratch in a higher quality size, and then draw myself over it. So... You can excuse the low-effort background for once. It was basically this, and then my birthday doodle from May 1st to May 12th, and then I took a break to draw up several D&D characters quickly for fullbody references.

[05/12/21] - Remember this art I made several months ago? I finally added my other two completed characters! I have three more named but without character sheet D&D characters, so for now this is just Kara, Axel, Golden Shadow, Kau, Cecillia, and Miri. Kress, Tempest, and Melia will have to wait until I make character sheets for them to be posted, and... For when I probably make more D&D characters. I have at least 9 additional, incomplete character ideas floating around, so... I’m never gonna be done this art, huh?

[05/12/21] - Speaking of D&D characters, did you know I’ve been making them as Miis in Miitopia? So here is their finished full body art next to their Miitopia self! Some of them look a little off (Golden Shadow, Cecillia) because of limitations of the editor and shading issues, some of them look a little off (Kau, Kress) because this is a human face canvas that I’m using to make a non-human face, and some of them (Melia, Axel) look REALLY GOOD. Common traits among my D&D characters include green eyes and tall. You wanna know why? Because I am tall and... despite having red eyes, I do have green eyes under the coloured contacts.

[05/15/21] - More D&D stuff! This is based around my D&D group’s current Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign where our Goliath Fighter, Nioh, ends up getting a little bit of hate for being cocky, and our little (well over 6′) hater, Axel, is just a man full of irritation. These are the tallest two characters of the group at the moment. Someone send help. Nioh belongs to one of the other D&D players, Axel (and his stupid additude) belongs to me.

[05/15/21] - This is what me playing D&D feels like. Me, the demon entity trapped inside the head of my D&D character, yelling at them to do things while the dice decide that they’re gonna get bopped a hundred times by a yeti and somehow still survive. This is also a reference to our first or second game where I just ran off like sixty feet to one side of the battle map to fight a Crag Cat and was just in Gay Baby Jail until like two turns later when I could run back to the others. I also drew him not in his winter gear even though this is a bit from when we were atop Kelvin’s Carin in an icy cave, so maybe that’s why he’s at low HP.

[05/15/21] - Melia has good gardening tips, such as Use A Mars Mii Trap To Hide A Body Because They Are Endangered And It Is Illegal To Dig Them Up. I love her a lot, because she’s the youngest of four, all four sisters based around the different seasons. She’s based around Autumn, so she’s all orange and yellow and brown and is so cute. Also she’s Chaotic Neutral, as if she didn’t need to be mildly more threatening.

[05/15/21] - Cecillia is my Tiefling gal who lived in a very northern town plagued by cold weather and snow, and Axel is my Pirate guy who spent most of his time further south on the high seas and warmer weather. So, naturally... I’ll use the guy more acclimatized to the hotter weather in the campaign where we spend 99% of it in the snow. She uses Tarot Cards as her spell focus, and I decided to sneak my other D&D characters onto her Tarot cards so naturally, Axel is The Hanged Man, given his backstory and personality. She’s a very cheerful and friendly Tiefling Necromancer of the Hexblade, so she’d for sure take care of those around her to ensure their success. Especially if they’re on her Tarot Cards, and their spirit comes to her aid when she asks for them.

[05/16/21] - Content Warning; Ryma thinks too much into local stupid moron’s lack of knowing how to answer a question and thinks too much into the reputation of Pirates. Poor Axel, man doesn’t know how to socialize with people who aren’t pirates and is used to being hostile towards everyone, so when he’s asked a question that his answer to is “uhh... no?”, he panics and ends up making a mistake that leads him to think that Ryma can read his mind. Ryma belongs to another of the D&D players. I guess me drawing all those spicy Cow Costumed OCs earlier just brought me to drawing Axel being a bottom in this, huh?

[05/16/21] - It’s Mermay, which means more OC drawings! Here’s Theo after drinking some potion that turned him into a mermaid, and Seven, tiredly, collecting his stupid boyfriend so that Lailah can fix the fact he’s turned into a mermaid. Mer!Theo is based around his sword’s colours of indigo-purple with red accents, which looks a little weird since Theo is the Blue one of the group, but... it looks cool, I guess. Seven’s just the same outfit as always, just no gloves this time.

And that’s it for the art dump! This was, frankly, MASSIVE. I’ll try and remember to upload both on Twitter and Tumblr at the same time, but... Ah... I have been drawing a fair bit. Just mostly sketches and linework that I haven’t finished and may not actually finish. If they’re not completed, I’ll dump them all into something at the end of the month or whatever. Maybe you’ll get the old sketch of the Axel face in panel 3 because in the sketch phase it was an Ahegao face, in the clean sketch it was a lip bite, and in the linework and final it’s just horny face. lmao.

Top ten things I have to remember for drawing: AXEL HAS A SCAR AND GREEN EYES. I remember his eye colour now, but if you look at his fullbody ref, he’s got brown eyes. And, naturally, I keep forgetting to put in his scar. He has more, but most of them are located in areas covered by his clothes. So if I ever draw him shirtless I guess I’ll have to place them somewhere.

Also maybe finish the reference sheets I have left to finish so I can post more of them, since I have two “Pets” completed (Roko and Mona’s nameless pet), but I have to do up Hunter, Warlock, Assassin, Akira, Myuut, and Stella. I’m betting when I do complete two more, it’ll be Hunter and Akira. Those two are the most fun to draw, at least.
