Yoyo! Could I get something with Cyrus and him having an obvious crush on a very elegant and dexterous party member! It's sad how little fics there are for my boy!
I have more Cyrus in my drafts, so be keep a lookout for when he graces my blog once more!

Crushing on the Reader
Cyrus
Cyrus first saw you when you were seated beside his brother in the theatre in Jrusar. You had a confident air about you that screamed the elegance and finery that he's so desperately attracted to and misses dearly from life before he started adventuring.
When Dorian finally introduced him to Bell's Hells, Cyrus greeted and nodded in respect to the others, apologising again and again for being an idiot and complicating things.
But the moment you offered him your name and held out your hand, he swiped it up and pressed an obnoxiously long kiss to the back of it.
He immediately regretted the gesture, face and ears tinged with a purple blush, mindful of Dorian's facepalm and his friends' sour looks, but you simply laughed and waved his worries away.
When the party came across him at the ball, he was standing at the edge of the dance floor on his tippy toes and trying to catch a glance of you in the crowd in your fancy attire. He never got the chance to chase after you and ask for a dance but whatcanyoudo there were baddies to fight, you were a bit preoccupied
You volunteered to leave Marquet with the two brothers and help reunite Dorian with the Crown Keepers - gods know how much the Wyvernwinds need someone to stop their bickering.
Cyrus spent the entire trip trying to impress and get to know the object of his newfound affections, pestering his brother for info about you - if you were single, what's your tragic but deep backstory, if you have a thing for royalty, if your favourite colour is blue etc etc.
He's stuck to your side like glue when you guys make contact with Dariax, Opal and Fy'ra Rai. They don't like him and think he's trouble (a theme he's getting used to), but you actually tolerate and make an effort to include him.
You impress the heir again and again with your skills and ease in stressful situations. You have the charm of a noble, nimble fingers to swipe important objects without being seen, you can open pretty much any lock by barely touching it, and can dodge an arrow as if it was nothing.
Oohs and ahhs and heart eyes galore, cheering you on at the sideline and scowling whenever someone calls him out on it.
Dorian continuously wants to curl up into a ball and have the ground swallow him whole bc his older brother is embarrassing himself in front of you and his other friends.
He's grateful that you can get through to his sibling though - Cyrus is not as an experienced traveler or warrior or mage as everyone else, so under your guidance hopefully he will get more accustomed to life on the road and the people you come across.
Dorian still gets grossed out when Cyrus clumsily flirts with you tho. Baby brother energy, y'know~

"Blah blah blah Laerryn's only record in history ever is from Ludinus blah blah blah how tragic blah blah blah history forgot her blah blah blah"
I'M SORRY EXCUSE ME YOU THINK LOQUATIUS SEELIE DID JUST ONE RECORDING TALKING ABOUT LAERRYN??? YOU THINK IT'S JUST THOSE LAST ONES IN HIS LAST 12H OF LIFE???
YOU'LL TRY AND CONVINCE ME HE DIDN'T LEAVE A TRAIL ACROSS EXANDRIA OF HIS LOVE FOR THIS WOMAN!?
YOU THINK NOT EVEN ONE EXANDRIAN HISTORIAN FOUND HIS YEARS OF REPORTING HE DID ACROSS THE PLANET AND YOU THINK NOT ONCE HE MENTIONED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD HIS IMMEASURABLY BRILLIANT WIFE
LAERRYN WANTED TO BE REMEMBERED AND DAMN IF QUAY DIDN'T MAKE SURE OF THAT

Never did I expect myself to be mourning the absence of english essays and writing exams and theatre class critiques. Do you understand how fucking amazing of a grade I could get on an analysis of trauma in Critical Role? On Lou Wilson and Emily Axford's finesse in portraying the heavy expectations and double standards placed on children? On Ylfa Snorgelsson's relationship to death? On the journey of a man's relationship to violence? On an analysis of grief in Dimension 20? On the pitfalls of youth? On the dynamic between humanity and religion? On the journey of self-discovery and acceptance? On love in all its forms? On the nature of choice? On everything Brennan Lee Mulligan has to say about capitalism? On the tragedy of im/mortality? On Gerard and Elody's divorce? On the unfeeling and aimless happenstance of the universe? On the role of fate and destiny? I'm not saying it would be easy. I'm saying can you imagine how fucking cool it would have been to turn in 5 pages about a dnd show, feeling good about it?

A therapy session that is preluded by a round of DnD, with the therapist as GM, and they make thorough observations about how you play the game and how you interact with situations, and draw implications based on those, and make assessments about your mental state.

Ok I know I’ve largely been like “there’s not going to be much in the way of remaining lore from this in later campaigns because everyone’s going to die and be forgotten in a war that kills a supermajority of the population and permanently scars most of the planet” BUT I did happen to look at the Ring of Mind Shielding and, well, wouldn’t it be funny if:

I was searching for what type of sexual dimorphism Cerrit would present, being a Phillipine Eagle, and this is what the wiki says:
The level of sexual dimorphism in size is not certain, but the male is believed to be typically about 10% smaller than the female, and this is supported by the average length provided for males and females in one source.
This is reverse sexual dimorphism. Females are not only heavier but have a wider wingspan!!!
Wrayne is (very likely) bigger than Cerrit!
(And even if she's another type of eagle, this rule still applies. The difference can even be higher than 10%.)
