Am I the asshole for killing my girlfriend?

So basically I (??, original, F) had been surviving in post-nuclear apocalypse... I don't know. As soon as I woke up (radiation bringing people to life yknow yknow) I met this girl (??, original, F, THEY/THEM) and they were like "You seem really strong. Come with me!" (Not exact words) and dragged me along, and we've been travelling companions ever since.

They were oddly clingy, which I tolerated. When I first became companions with them, one of us would take turns going out to scavenge, and the other would stay home (? Not sure if I could call a grass bed under two metal roofs that). They got weaker due to radiation as time went on though, so we started going out together more.

Oh yeah, they're a daisy flower. That's kinda important because naturally they're frailer because of this.

They gave me fake paper dragon ears, wings and tails on a trip, because they had been reading my own contents (i'm a book) to me and I was fascinated about that. Apparently I'm a guidebook for a game about dragons or something? Anyways, on that same trip they confessed to me and I actually couldn't pinpoint if I felt the same way (I feel different towards them everytime i think about them, I don't know why), but I reluctantly accepted anyways. So we stopped having solo scavenging trips from then on.

Now, from when we met until the end, they've always kept me away from populated areas. They didn't want me to see another person, and at first I didn't question it, until we actually did run into someone else (??, not sure if original or modern, M). My gf and him seemed to have bad history, which I was confused about, and they told me to stay away from the situation). He pulled me aside after the convo, and told me about how my gf is a liar and has abandoned 30(?) people back to back on their long journey of survival across the country? And then he asked me about how we met, so I told him, and he told me that they specifically chose me as their companion BECAUSE I just woke up and wouldn't know anything about what they have done, and also they could teach me anything they wanted.

Obviously, this disgusted me, but I didn't know what to do about it, so I just brushed it off and went on as usual, until one day, when I was sick, my gf found a group of people and decided they should be there next. So they stole my dragon plushie as entrance fee and ran off. Now, I should've mentioned this before, but the plushie meant a lot to me, because I woke up under it and its been with me as a comfort item ever since. And they stole it.

I followed after them, and caught up quickly because they were kinda too weak to have gone far. I asked them to explain themself, and made it clear that I would've been fine with all this if they just gave the plushie back to me, but they only apologized for being a liar. I repeated my demands, and they refused to budge, so I eventually got so mad I saw red. I hadn't realized immediately, but I struck them in the neck and killed them. I didn't even feel anything about it eventually besides anger, so I just left their body out to rot.

Now I feel really really bad about it, was all that wrong of me?

Not only am I going through my big ol’ Schizo mid twenties psychotic breakdown while on so many medications that I can barely function or think or feel in control of myself— which definitely leaves an impression and bias with most medical doctors even when it’s more sensical to believe that there’s a medical problem(there’s noted evidence of medical abnormalities and plenty of witnesses who were cursed to see it happening to me). As well as being with people who are unstable and unhealthy for me but currently no means to leave them, my mental instability is likely going to be Hell to have me taken seriously at all and maybe dangerous in this area. I’m also LGBT+ in a homophobic trad conservative county with a judge who has literally said that gays go to Hell and refused federal orders for same sex marriage equality until the very last moment they were about to be summoned to the fuckin’ ummm idk it was a gov threat of trial so I wanna say Supreme Court but that sounds too wild to be true. I’ll have to google later what my asshole county leadership’s settlement was about lol but I’m pretty sure we were one of if not the last recorded to marry homosexuals anywayyyyyyyyyy yes I get drinks thrown at me from passing trucks :)) and doctors who blame COVID-19 fevers at ER levels on gender nonconformity and who tell me that they cannot believe I’m mutilating the beautiful body God blessed me with while they have tattoos of Bible verses and flowers all over their exposed forearms and a receptionist with fake lips and lifted brows.

I don’t know if my next doctors will help me out. I don’t know if it’s nothing or dangerous because both came up in appointments, and doctors kept contradicting each other or saying they weren’t sure. My family medical history is a disaster, and I unfortunately would be the highest risk out of my siblings to have dormant sicknesses triggered. I had a virus known to cause life altering complications around the same time that this happened coupled with some events that gave me New and Improved Upgraded PTSD. I was also in active recovery from life threatening alcoholism/addiction and trying to learn how to live sober, which I think probably put my immune system in danger or could have thrown off anything that made me more vulnerable to being sick (before then, I almost never was sick. It was a family joke that I couldn’t get sick. I was called Superman when it came to health— almost no sense of pain until 2019, then it was disabling pain by May 2020).

I want to hope I have some toxin exposure that can be eased and undone with time and not Lupus. Or that it’s from injury dominoing that PT will fix rather than a mixed connective tissue disease to live with forever. Let’s hope it’s secondary symptoms from my health declining and not any sort of cancer or autoimmune disorder or genetic condition or endocrine system failure or liver damage or neurological disease,…

I want to be better. The best thing that could happen to me is to be given an answer and treatment and then feel good. I want more than anything in the damn world to walk into the office and have a convo to find out that it’s my thyroid medicine being a bit off with a coincidental injury that strained my body left uncared for but can be helped. That’s all I want more than anything, and it hurts and is frightening and makes me anxious because I don’t think that’s what’s going to happen. I’m scared for my future. I don’t know how to live as a disabled person, and all my passions will be stripped and become dead dreams. I don’t know what I’ll hold onto or look up to anymore. I don’t know who I will be. I don’t know HOW I’ll be because I’m poor and it’s not like I have a support system. I just want to be told that this was all a misunderstanding, and that it’s something harmless that can be reversed or helped or anything that fucking gives me hope for the future. And I’m equally as scared as not getting any answers.

i'm not against therapy (though the therapists i've spoken to haven't been very useful or illuminating), but i do think it's often used to individualize what are really societal problems. and a lot of people don't realize that many individual problems are actually societal problems... like here's a conversation I have:

me: i'm lonely and bored

person: how come? you should go hang out with your friends!

me: well my friends are busy a lot of the time. some of us have incompatible work schedules, or they work so much that they're too tired after work to hang. they don't really like talking online that much too. we meet maybe once every one or two months and it's nice, but i crave a sense of community

person: you need to put yourself out there! go to clubs! volunteer!

me: i go to events when i'm not tired and when i have the social energy, but there aren't as many as there used to be because of the pandemic. many people are nice, but i don't see a long term friendship forming due to lack of compatibility. i've already done the thing where i have a 'friend' who's nice but we don't have much in common, and it's actually even worse than not having any friends at all.

person: you need to stop being picky! what are you, a snob? an elitist? do you think you're better than other people? everyone has an interesting story to tell!

me: i'm sure that's true, but i don't think everyone can or should be my friend. i'm looking for people who i actively enjoy being around and who also like me. i think it's better to be selective and not waste other people's time and energy instead of leading them on.

person: so you're too lazy to hang out with your friends, too lazy to go to new events, and too snobbish to meet new people. sounds like a personal problem!

me: i think the problem is a society where work is expected to take most of your day, where jobs are spread over the city far from residential areas so people are stuck in commutes without public transit, where the city itself is so sprawling that we end up far and isolated from each other, and where the pandemic has decimated previously vibrant scenes, making it harder to find people we may vibe with. many of these problems are structural and not individual. the fact that my friends report having similar feelings tells me this is not my personal failing

OK so obviously this is a fake convo put together from others, but notice how it's always assumed you're not doing enough. The problem is you, by default. I understand that you are the only thing you have control over, but sometimes you do the best you can and things still don't work out. Sometimes you need coping mechanisms for a shitty situation. Therapized interactions assume there is always a solution and in this case, there may not be one, unless you want to give me and my friends millions of dollars to be able to relocate near each other and not have to work for a living?

And while in this example the structural problem is urbanism and capitalism, it's even worse for feminist issues. Like if you complain about sexism in movies, you're encouraged to reframe your thoughts to view whatever happened as empowering... If you actually do it, it saps any political will out of you.

Classes fly by today and now it’s lunch. I get a special lunch made and sit with Katsuki. We sit alone for a few till Kirishima, Ashido and two others come to sit.

“Oooh can you crush bones?” Kiri asks

“Yeah, bones, metal, plastic, rocks, anything basically.”

“Super manly! I can just make my skin rock hard.”

“Pffffffftttt.” I cover my month to hide the laugh.

“Jaws get your fat head out of the fucking gutters.” Katsuki shoves me and I keep laughing.

“You act as if my head ever been out of the gutters.” He rolls his eyes and eats some noodles.

“I don’t get.” Kirishima says

“Don’t you dare tell him!” Ashido says

“Toothy let’s go.” Katsuki gets up and throw his trash away and I follow with a wave to my friends. We head to class early. We talk for a bit and then more kids sit down.

“I AM HERE!” All Might say crashing into the class room.

“Coming through the door like a hero!” He poses and bunch of kids gasp and chatter about him. I tune out this part.

“Welcome to the most important class at UA High. Think of it as "Hero‐ing 101." Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro. And what it means to fight in the name of good! Today's lesson will pull no punches! Fight training. But one of the keys of being a hero is... looking good! These were designed for you based on your Quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started. Get yourselves suited up, and then meet me at Training Ground Beta!” All Might says, I walk away and get dress. I look at the mirror and smile at how I look. The outfit was simple but worked for now. I walk to the training area and wait.

“They say that clothes make the pros, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof! Take this to heart. From now on you are all... heroes in training! This is getting me all revved up. Now. Shall we get started, you buncha newbies?”

“FUKA! YOU LOOK SO BADASS!” Ashido says and jumps on my back. I easily support her and smile towards her.

“Thank you! I love yours!” I say

“Now I wish you made my outfit!” I laugh and she gets off.

“Sir!” Iida says, I roll my eyes and sit on the floor.

“This is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean that we'll be conducting urban battles again?” He ask All Might shakes his head.

“Not quite. I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run‐ins with the most dastardly evildoers take place indoors. Think about it. Backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two‐on‐two indoor battles.” All Might says and Iida thinks before asks another question.

“Isn't this a little advanced?”

“The best training is what you get on the battlefield! But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You're dealing with actual people now.” He nods.

“Sir, will you be the one deciding who wins?” Iida asks.

“How much can we hurt the other team?” Katsuki asks with a smirk.

“Am I allowed to stop him?” I ask, Katsuki groans at me.

“Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?” Uraraka asks.

“Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?” Iida asks.

“Isn't this cape trÃ¨s chic?” I raise my eyebrow at him.

“I wasn't finished talking! Listen up. The situation is this. The villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys either have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes.” All Might says as he reads from a small piece of paper.

“Time's limited, and we'll choose teams by drawing lots!” He finishes and once again Iida opens his mouth.

“Don’t you fucking dare ask another question.”

“I can ask questions if I want!”

“Not without consequences from me.”

“Are you threatening me again?!”

“Yes, yes I am.”

“Young Fuka please just let young Iida finish his question.” I roll my eyes and huff.

“Anyways as I was asking, isn't there a better way?”

“Knew it was a stupid question.” I say.

“Pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here.” All Might says.

“Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness.” Iida says.

“No sweat. Let's draw!” We all go up and get a ball, I get D with Katsuki we stand together.

“I declare that the first teams to fight will be... these guys! Team A will be the heroes, Team D will be the villains. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch!” All Might says, me and Katsuki high five.

“Bad guys, you can go on in and get set up. In five minutes, the good guys will be let loose and the battle will start!”

“Yes sir.” The two say with me and say kay.

“Young Fuka, Young Bakugo. The key to being successful in this challenge is to embody villainy. Think from the perspective of an evildoer.” All Might say with the A team away.

“Easy enough.” I say

“If things go too far, I'll step in. Understood?”

“Don’t worry I’ve handled worse with this guy.” I say he nods and leaves.

“Do you really think Deku has a Quirk?”

“Yeah, I mean everything would add up to that.”

“Was he seriously just tricking us all these years? I'm gonna roast that damn nerd today!”

“Woah calm down, I got a plan if you want to listen.”

“If it involves me beating Deku I’ll hear it out.”

“I’ll stay with the bomb, I can figure out where Midoriya is from there and tell you. Midoriya going to have Uraraka get the bomb and distract you. So you can go ham on him, I will step in even if that means we lose. Keep your ear piece in.”

“Got it, I’ll tell you when she leave.” I nod and go upstairs. All Might start to talk in the ear piece.

“All right! Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D, your time starts now! Pay attention, kids. Think about what you would do.”

“All Might does this place have any power?”

“Yes, young Fuka why do you ask?”

“So the water works?”

“Not sure.” I smirk and whip the wall open with my tail. I watch the pipes and hear some water in one. I break it open and it floods the room. I walk over to the doors and close them shut. The water fills the room slowly. I sit next to the bomb and wait.

“Young Fuka you could cause a flood and harm your partner as well.”

“Katsuki will be fine, if anything I’d worry about Midoriya.” The water is now up to about my ankles.

“Fuka smart, if Uraraka goes in there the water will leave so she’ll know when she enters. Plus it would knock Uraraka out.” Sero says.

“Plus Fuka can swim really good!” Ashido says

“Yes but what about Bakugo? Can he even swim?” Tsu asks.

“I mean their best friends Bakugo should know how to swim.” Mineta says.

“Oh look the bomb starting to float.” Kaminari says. I sigh as the bomb doesn’t sink. I pick up chucks from the wall and to hold the bomb down, which works. I open my harness to grab my pocket knife and walk over to the door. No locks so I can’t fiddle with it to make it lock. I look down to see the water is up to my knees.

“Katsuki, plan?” I ask

“As you said. She’s still here.” I nod and think.

“I’m going shark soon, waters up to my waist.”

“Okay.” I wait till it’s up to my chest and turn. I swim around and feel for anything.

“Hey, who's Bakugo talking to? I'm not hearing anything. Can we get any sound with this video?” Kirishima asks.

“He's got a radio in his ear so he can talk to his partner. I gave it to him before the match started. Along with a map of the building. Also, this. A roll of capture tape! Wrapping this around your opponent means you've apprehended them, and they're out for the rest of the game.” All Might says

“So, there's a 15‐minute time limit, and the good guys have no idea what floor the nuclear weapon is hidden on, right?” Ashido ask.

“Correct!”

“Then the heroes are clearly at a disadvantage here.” Iida says.

“A big one! Real Pros have to outwit villains on a daily basis. That's life. Even when the odds aren't in our favor, we fight!” All Might says.

“She left.” I hear Katsuki say in the ear piece that’s on the pipe. I swim back and forth from the two doors and wait.

“Found it. Now I just have to tell Deku. And try my best to stay outta sight until he gets up here.” Uraraka whisper, I pick up on and turn back.

“I hear you! Now either we do this the easy way or the hard way! Your pick pinky!” I yell loud enough for her to hear. I smell the air and don’t get anything for scent wise but I know she here still.

“Katsuki got pinkypie up here.” I say I hear nothing from him.

“Come on! I don’t have all day pinkypie!” I yell and walk over to the door and feel her hiding behind it but don’t see her. I huff and stay there.

“Um Deku?” I hear her says, I doubt he’s actually here so it must be the earpiece.

“I'm here. How's it going?” I hear him answer.

“Fuka knows that I'm here. Sorry. Right now she’s waiting for me to open the door, she filled the room with water.”

“Where are you?”

“Near the middle of the fifth floor but I can’t even open the door with the force of water.”

“That was the plan pinky. What you think I can’t hear you?” I bang on the door and she jumps.

“Gasp. Have you been there the whole time?”

“I mean you think I jumped out the window?” I ask

“I’m right beneath you. Don’t worry.” Midoriya says

“She heard everything I said!” She grumbles.

“And what he said.” I smirk as we lock eyes.

“Shit.” Midoriya says.

“Young Bakugo! Don't do it! You'll kill him!” All Might says.

“KATSUKI I’LL LEAVE RIGHT NOW AND LET HER WIN IF YOU DO THAT!”

“SHUT UP JAWS! If he dodges he’ll be fine.”

“EXACTLY IF! I SWEAR TO FUCKING WHOEVERS UP THERE I’LL BITE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!” I yell at him and hear him tch and a loud boom. The ground shakes, Uraraka opens the door and water falls out. She floats herself and I hang on to the pipe. I kick her and she falls. I see the bomb float away with the water and let it go. She lays there and coughs, I pick her up and throw her. I slam the door close and break it. I run down and follow the water, I grab the bomb and see a closet and drop it off in there.

I run to find Katsuki no longer caring about the training. I keep running and slow down once I see them.

“KATSUKI BAKUGO! YOU GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE SO HELP ME!” They freezes as I keep yelling.

“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO? KILL EACH OTHER? WHATS FUCKING WRONG WITH YOU TWO? I DON’T GIVE AN ACTUAL FUCK IF YOU HATE EACH OTHER OR NOT! YOU CAN NOT FUCKING BEAT THE LIVING OUT OF EACH OTHER! NOW DO I MAKE MYSELF FUCKING CLEAR?!” I yell as my hand lands on my hip and I talk with my other hand.

“Yes ma’am.” They both say.

“Now apologize to each.”

“Sorry Kachann.”

“Bakugo.”

“Tch sorry.”

“Now Imma go back to the bomb if I so as hear another big ass explosion or any of the sorts I’m telling your mothers. Got it?” They nod and I leave.

“Young Fuka I have it under control.”

“If you did then you’d call this whole thing off and fail both of them.”

“Young Fuka like I said I’m the teacher and I have everything under control.”

“If that’s what helps you sleep at night.” I look over to the camera and walk away to find Uraraka.

“Ughhh.” I hear her and walk up the stairs I grab my tape and wrap her up.

“Sorry Pinkypie but I can’t deal with you and the two toddlers. Do you need anything medical wise?”

“No I’m fine, thank you though.”

“No problem, you did a good job with that trick of yours.”

“Really? I came up with it on the fly.”

“Yeah I mean if you went up against someone else it would have worked. I have a sixth sense that helps me with dodging you otherwise I would have lost.” She nods and I continue to sit with her as I wait for the time to run out. I hear All Might yell at Bakugo about if he uses it again he’ll end the training and the other team wins.

“What is Fuka doing?” Ashido asks.

“Damn she likes a mom with those two!” Kaminari says

“She’s hot. Wish she could-” Mineta says

“Fuka seems to have an easy time with dodging Uraraka’s hits before hand.” Iida cuts Mineta off.

“I remember her saying something about a sixth sense?” Kirishima says.

“Ah of course, she has the ability to do anything a shark can do! Sharks are known to have a sixth sense something about being able to feel the electricity that comes of off anything and to feel the movements in water.”Yaoyorozu say.

“That such a great quirk!” Sero says.

“So she can smell a drop of blood a mile away?” Kaminari ask.

“Actual she can’t, the blood has to be a lot to be able to travel a mile away.”Yaoyorozu answers.

“Make sense.” Sero says

“So that’s how she knew Uraraka was there without hearing her.” Jiro says.

“And how she knew there was a water pipe.” Todoroki says.

“Mhm.” Yaoyorozu says and nods.

I feel the floor shake and I huff and hold on to Uraraka so she doesn’t fly away. Then Midoriya breaks the floor. I get bolts of the electricity go through everything and myself and get sick.

“Uhh the Villain team wins!” I run over to the corner and throw up.

“Uh Young Fuka are you okay?”

“Just give me a minute.” I say sickly and continue to throw up.

“I’ll go get you some water!” Uraraka says and walk out to get a bottle.

“I’m going to kill then.”

“Please don’t young Fuka.” After a bit we all head back to the main room. Katsuki holds on to me as I still feel sick.

“What a weird way for this to end.” Kaminari says. Ashido runs over to me and helps me sit down.

“The only one not hurt is Uraraka.” Jiro says.

“How does the old saying go? They may've lost the battle, but they won the war.” A guy with a bird head says.

“This class is intense.” Sero says.

“I’m going to die.” I groan out

“Aww Fuka it’s okay. You were super manly out there!” Kirishima says

“Here drink some water hun.” Ashido says and holds the water up for me. I drank it and she lowers the bottle.

“Young Fuka do you want to go to the nurse?” All Might asks.

“Nothing she can do for it.” I mumble.

“She can kiss it all away.” Ashido says as she rubs my arm

“Yeah her quirk is healing.” Kirishima says

“Won’t work for her. She has to wait it out, dunce face stay away from her.” Katsuki says.

“Woah I didn’t even do anything! What type of name is that?”

“You idiot she can feel the electricity coming of off everyone and you have a electricity quirk!” Ashido says I groan and she leans my head on her shoulders.

“Shhh it’s okay honey.” Ashido says and continue to rub my arm.

“Well, despite the results. The MVP of this exercise is Young Uraraka!” All Might says.

“Wait what!? It shouldn’t be me! Fuka did great!” Uraraka says.

“No offense but I agree, Fuka was the only one who truly adapted to her assigned role. I'll explain. Bakugo's judgment was clouded by a personal grudge against Midoriya. As you pointed out earlier, launching a large‐scale attack indoors was a foolish move. It could have been disastrous. Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage that he received. He rendered himself helpless. Not smart. As for Uraraka... She let her guard down mid‐battle, and her last attack was far too reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she'd treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she never would've risked using such an imprecise move. Fuka was fully prepared for her opponent's arrival. She had a strategy, and only once lost sight of her mission for protecting the dummy weapon, even if she left Uraraka alone and she could have lost because of that. She did it because she could have lost everything with Bakugo’s pointless rage. Fuka also had a thought out plan that as far as I know went according to plan. The hero team only took advantage of the fact that this is only a training and not a real bomb.” Yaoyorozu says.

“And I was captured, meaning I lost!” Uraraka says.

“I guess the new MPV is Young Fuka.” All Might says.

“One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning. That's the only real way to become a top hero.”Yaoyorozu says.

“As it should be! Good job bestie!” Ashido turns to give Fuka a high five but only to be left hanging with a sleeping Fuka. A couple round go by as I still stay asleep. Ashido wakes me up as we finish the class.

“That's a wrap! Super work. You really stepped up to the plate. And, we didn't have any major injuries, except for Midoriya. You should be proud. Excellent first day of training, all around!” All Might says.

“It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class.” Kirishima says

“Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill.” Jiro says.

“I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater!” I forgot his name but it’s something with an A?

“Now, that’s all folks! I should go and check on Young Midoriya's progress! Now, watch how a pro exits. Like he's got somewhere to be!” He leaves, I roll my eyes.

“Okay, you guys, that is a hero!” Uraraka says

“Aw, I'll never be able to run that fast.” Kaminari says

“Super awesome!” Mineta says. We head to the locker rooms then class.

“Mister Aizawa? Can I bring Fuka to the nurse?” Ashido ask.

“Why? What’s wrong?” Sensei ask with a raise eyebrow.

“ ‘m fine.” I mumble and lay my head down.

“She got sick earlier from her quirk. She really sleepy and I think it’s be better if she would sleep at the nurse.” She continues ignoring me.

“Ashido, the nurse can’t do anything for this. I have to wait it out.” I mumble Katsuki grabs my backpack and grabs my smoothie.

“Drink .” He says and hands me it, similar to chum but cow and stuff.

“Can’t.”

“Just step out and drink it.” He says.

“You can go drank it out of the class.” Sensei says I nod and snatch the bottle and walk out.

“What’s in that?” Ashido asks Katsuki.

“None of your fucking business.” The day flys by and before I know it, it’s time to leave. We walk out and I feel much better.

“Wait up!” Midoriya yells and we stop.

“What?” Katsuki asks.

“I haven't told anyone this secret. Not even my mom. I have to tell you two something. Maybe then, you guys will understand what's been going on. I wasn't hiding my Quirk from you guys. It was given to me by someone else. Recently.”

“Tch.” Katsuki says

“But I can't tell you guys who I got it from, so don't ask! Sounds crazy, I know. It's like something out of a comic book. Only, it's real. The thing is, I don't really have any control over this power yet. I haven't figured out how to make it my own, but I'm trying. That's why... I didn't wanna use it against you in the exercise. But in the end, it was the only way that I had a chance of winning. I've still got a lot to learn. I know that. That's why I'm here! You'll see. I'll work until I have full control of this borrowed Quirk. And I'll finally beat you two with my own power!” He gasps and mutters.

“Oh crap why am I telling you this? I only meant to tell them that I wasn't tricking them!”

“How dumb do you think we are?"Borrowed power"? Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. You already made a fool outta me in that damn training exercise. So? Did you come here to rub it in? That I only won because of y/n. And to make matters worse, you made y/n sick as hell. I came in first in the exam, but that's not enough. When I was watching that ice guy, I realized I couldn't beat him in a head‐to‐head fight. Launching a large‐scale attack indoors was a foolish move. Fuck! I even agreed with what that girl said. My attack was so stupid! Damn it! Damn it, damn it, damn it!”

“Katsuki. Breath, it’s okay.” I mutter to him.

“I'm just getting started! Got that?! I'm gonna end up the number‐one hero, no matter what! You'll never beat me, you bastard. Don't even try.” Then All Might comes out.

“There you are young Bakugo! I found you! Just so you know, pride is an important attribute to have. But while you certainly have the abilities to become a pro hero, there's still plenty you have to learn!” He holds on to Katsuki.

“Let go of me, All Might. Right now.”

“Hm?” He tilts his head.

“You heard him.” I growl at him.

“Save your speeches. I'll be more famous than you, and I'll do it without your help.” Katsuki walks away and I look back to Midoriya.

“I don’t know what your trying to do feeding us bullshit with this “quirk” thing. But if you try to do this bullshit again I’ll drag you to the bottom of the ocean and leave you there. Got it?” He nods.

“Young Fuka-.” He puts his hand in my shoulder.

“I’m not done. Your a fucking shitty ass teacher and a hero. Your fucking lucky Katsuki didn’t get hurt or I would have done so much worse then give you my words.” I shove his arms off and he stumbles a little and I leave. I give a text to Katsuki say that if he want to talk I’m here and if need be my window is open for him to go through. I stay in my room and sleep, not once did Katsuki come in that I know of.

heyy. just wanted to say that your fake script was incredible!! the dustin and will feels were impeccable <333

also, i'm also a film student, but im on the side of set design/lighting and camera work. so more on the behind the scenes level, and it is so cooool to see a writer's perspective on the whole process of filmmaking. i've also taken a few script-writing/cinema analysis classes, so ik smth about that field, but i'm prob not as experienced as you.

AH holy shit i have so much respect for ppl who work on the production level. my brain is just not wired for cinematography and lighting eludes me, so MAD props to you. y’all deserve way more credit than you’re given.

and thank you so much!! i’m glad you enjoyed the script :’) i met a lot of ppl in the industry through my internship this summer (doing script coverage for an agency/production company), but bc of the area i was working in it was mostly agents, managers, and development execs. at school, my profs are either all writers, haven’t worked in film since the early 00s, or i JUST started the class and don’t rly know them yet lol. i don’t get on set nearly as much as i want to (hoping to change that this sem) or get to talk to ppl on the production level. i have a couple family friends who are editors.

I feel like you're the only blog that wouldn't take this wrong way tbh, but the fandom is just ridiculously sensitive in the wrong ways.

1) bts cover missing you

straight up became racist as if they don't know the meaning of the song for black people or the message or even understand the meaning of rap. All I saw regardless of blocking people was people saying "how they're gonna bring hate, some stupid ass Instagram account called the shade room or whatever is gonna ruin them, they're gonna disrespect the song and dedicated it to army's" then them just cover it and it not being an issue at all???? They showed so many wrong colors then.

2) people getting worked up over using "spoiler" when talking about namjoons upcoming album. Got off of Twitter bc I kept getting recommended these convos, but people are mad at the fact tweets are saying "namjoon has been spoiling the album in last year" which isn't wrong or true. Full on saying "you're making namjoon look like a fool and not giving him his credit" that sounds like projection, knowing he has given hints of so many things of their work. By why whole threads about it, it's silly, and you're distracted over that....depressing.

3) Jungkook in qutar.

Basically, within the last decade, lots of south Asians had died, around 1,6k and probably more uncounted died from poor work conditions. They were immigrants as well. Some people were aware and didn't like the fact big hit & jungkook were promoting it bc of that. Right now people seem to not realize you can care about both sides without seeming like an insensitive asshole the bread makers of those who have now passed and to seem like a Jungkook anti. Like yes I'm happy jungkook can perform in such a stadium like that, however the lack of awareness of lives taken is sad. There's people being straight up being Islamophobic or just worried about jungkook being in the country knowing what's happening in surrounding or like countries being called "Islamophobic" or just throwing the word around.

4) Crush situation and people turning on hoseok. Straight up took some girls side, a girl who manipulated the situation to being artists down. Was proven in her tweets that she tried to take down multiple group and solo artists for "anti blackness" when they weren't doing anything wrong.

There's being protective and being an ass for no reason. Like the fandom is just so bad in this area,I mean weak as well. It's just blank fake support or care tbh, so many peoples colors have been shown ( both racist & human insensitive & anti ) I can't even say only a certain percentage, it is always all or none. I always appreciate it when they defend us, however, we need to take a few hits to change and better our fandom as it's just depressing at this point.

When actual issues come up, most all turn selfish and turn into hungry consumers and not the "we'll protect you bangtan, we care <3" ex June 14 2022 and the sale drop.

2. Namjoon is a smart guy, I agree. He also has a team of other talents working with him to ensure that every "spoiler" is deliberate and received favorably by the fandom.

3. Jungkook is in Qatar to shoot his music video and perform at the world cup. It's completely unrelated.

4. I don't know about that situation either. Koreans can be pretty racist, but I think Hoseok isn't because of the collaboration and inspiration he draws from other diverse artists.

idk if youd be comfortable with it but i'd love some advice for like how to get in the bowl ive been curious about it for awhile but have been nervous to start, super intimidating on my own

i'll take a crack at it below the cut.

step 1) be 18+, average-to-attractive, & fairly conventional (slim/athletic, good fashion sense, feminine). sounds shitty, but fat folks, trans people, alt/tattooed/pierced people, etc. don't do very well in the bowl, or else really need to "dig" to find an SD who's looking for that 'niche' kind of identity. there is a market for gay cis men, but it's also narrow. i was still moderately successful with a mohawk for the month or two that i had one, but only cuz i dressed up to compensate + settled for a less lucrative/more short-term arrangement. 'cute' really doesn't cut it in the bowl, you'll just end up with like. low-end losers LOL

step 2) live in a big city, highly-populated area, or popular business travel destination, ideally a rich one. this is a big one. if you go anywhere smaller, the pool shrinks down to like 5 random dads looking to pay $50 for a quickie

step 3) be comfortable having sex with older (& married) men, or at least able to fake it convincingly. this is Also a big one. i'll say it straight-up: it's rare to find anyone young, attractive, and single seeking a SB, and if you do, chances are they have something else wrong with them (cuz let's face it, no one pays for a sexy younger girlfriend unless they have Something wrong with them, in terms of either looks, schedule, personality, WEIIIRD kinks, or being attached). to add to this, if you take issue with participating in infidelity/cheating, the bowl is not for you.

step 4) have a thick skin. be prepared to talk to a lot of creeps, a lot of time-wasters and salt daddies, and a LOT of scammers. (never accept e-transfers, paypal offers, or amazon GCs from anyone until you've progressed into an in-person relationship, this is a common tactic.) also, sugar mommies, cyber-only, and no-sex relationships do not exist. they just don't. these are all scammers.

step 4) BE SAFE. for the love of god, have plans, backup plans, emergency contacts (plural), escape routes, all of it. never use your real phone number, it can be tracked. never post a photo that you've posted elsewhere on any social media, it can be tracked. never give out your paypal, it can be linked to your real identity. if you have a unique first name, make a fake one. if you have tattoos, cover them. always meet-and-greet in a public place, watch your food/drinks, and tell two (or more) people where you're going, what time, vague description of the POT, etc. every single time. never give identifying information like your school, job, or neighbourhood until you've progressed far enough into an arrangement to build trust (and even then, be careful). never agree to have sex right after the M&G. you might want an allowance, but always start with PPM (pay-per-meet) and get your money first, in cash. i really can't emphasize this one enough. so many people are idiots about this shit^^ & end up getting scammed or sexually assaulted, it's brutal

step 5) if you're really committed, and you're really, truly, 100% sure you can be smart and safe about it, you might want to start by making an acc on seekingarrangement. it's the biggest site for this stuff, and it's not the best (like 80% scammers and bots), but it'll show you POTs in your area, and some of them will be legit. (you'll also get like 200+ messages a day if you're new, and most of them will go nowhere.) you can also check out r/sugarlifestyleforum to do more research or get advice or profile reviews (profile blurbs + good, full-body photos make or break everything!!!), but idk, it's maybe not the most newbie-friendly forum.

step 6) once you get chatting with someone and get a good vibe, don't discuss finances on the site (or any other site). take the convo elsewhere, or maybe save it for the M&G if you've got a good feel for the situation. also, SET YOUR PRICING BEFOREHAND. this will depend on where you live and what is expected of you (e.g. how long is each meetup, will there be sex, what kind of sex, is it a sleepover). don't get lowballed, don't lower your standards. negotiation is normal, but haggling and bartering is unacceptable. (also ..... gifts are fun, but cash is king.)

it takes a while to get the hang of chatting with POTs, but i typically just like to have a quick and friendly convo to get the vibe of his personality, expectations/what he’s looking for (weekly, monthly, once in a while if he’s in town for business, is it necessary to be discreet...? etc.), maybe share pics, then move the convo to a different app.

this^ is all really just the very tip of the iceberg, so please do a lot more research and PLEASE think carefully before going ahead with this. the bowl is, as a whole, incredibly intimidating and overwhelming, & frequently stressful as shit. a lot of people have a really romantic sugar daddy fantasy where they get pampered and spoiled just for going on a date every so often, but it's typically not like that at all. it's basically like another part-time job, requires an immense amount of time and effort just to sort through the lowballers and scammers, & to be frank ... your average SD is a much older, overweight married guy. it's not that glamourous.

it'd be immensely hypocritical of me to say "don't do it", but like ...... once again, please think really, really hard before you make this decision. no matter what precautions you take, it's never safe (STIs, homewrecking, being robbed, raped, stalked, etc), and the money isn't always good. sugaring is all about business transactions, but you should be aware that the men on these kinds of sites are transparently looking to take advantage of younger women. like... that’s an innate part of the game. that’s how it works. the line between sugar dating and being a prostitute is very, very fine, and in some cases, it just disappears altogether. (also? be prepared to commit tax fraud, or to do some funky, shady shit to disguise your income LOL.)

with that said, i'm happy to try to answer any other questions about this stuff, i know it’s not something a whole ton of people are super informed about. i don't sugar anymore (since a little while before i went on T), but i somewhat enjoyed it for a period, and it did help me to get my feet under me in terms of financial independence.
