Seeing comments on Facebook like “Buck was always a ladies man” or “he’s never shown any interest in guys before” is why this story arc is so important.

Bisexual people exist and so often get dismissed or told to pick a side or that they just can’t commit to being gay or some other shit.

Just because you show a preference to one gender doesn’t mean you can’t be attracted to another.

And you don’t have to have your sexuality figured out at a certain age! It’s fluid! It changes! You could not discover something about yourself until you are away from toxic noise and finally are in a place where you feel safe.

I’m just .. I’m so thankful for Oliver and Tim and how they’re wanting to tell this story.

ok ok this is another one of those posts where i’m being angry over something only i care about to let it out. okay. sorry about that. but hope if you read it you enjoy my rage. 

so bring me the horizon kind of changed their image in recent years (i’d argue that sempiternal was the turning point but for some reason ppl insist this era is still old bmth so idk). they’re leaning way more into scene culture and mix more pop-ish aesthetics into their image and music by collabing with artists like babymetal and ed sheeran or even just with visual changes, and i fucking love it tbh i think it’s really cool and a nice way to adapt into the modern music industry while still generally sticking to the same genres, just giving them a new twist

but as i mentioned this affects their aesthetic as well, and a few days ago they uploaded a pic of oliver dressed in rainbow clothing and i think makeup too? and that outfit genuinely fucked so hard i thought it was awesome and like, most of the comments on their posts are usually supportive so i like looking at them, but this time it was a mistake bc my god. 

(edit: just checked and a key detail i forgot was the caption of the pic was just a pride flag emoji and a credit for the photographer. so yeah this def impacted the comments lol)

it was all people talking about bmth changed (as if it hasn’t been like. nearly a decade of that??) or making these lame cheap jokes with homophobic/transphobic undertones that ppl tend to make when they see a man be just a smidge too feminine for their taste, making jokes about bmth being like sensitive snowflakes or w/e and laughing about how bmth is “woke” now? for uploading a pic of their lead singer in colorful clothes????

I fucking love going into work sick and despite telling my emps that i am there sick and need them to be on their a game still having my 4-8s whining to go home early. Had a 5-8 who walked in at 5:48 and a 5-CL who never showed up. Ran 1am on 11.48% labor despite keeping three drivers after their out time. Pre-closed the entire damn store and took over a driver’s chores who had to leave for a family emergency with just my #1 manager and i.

Im so exhausted. I still feel like shit. Almost snapped on the whiny ass 4-8. Like oh you’re overwhelmed by this job? You work 18 hours a week! And spend most of the time on phones or just abandoning prodo. And leave early every fucking shift cause i aint got the fucking time to make sure you’re productive and would rather not waste labor on you. I close this bitch all weekend every fucking weekend. Prepping for OA i worked over 14 hours. Even on my days off im working from fucking home unpaid communicating schedule changes and call-ins with actually on site managers and finding coverage.

I do not normally post "political" content. Political being in quotations because I do not consider this a political issue but the world does.

The genocide of the people in Gaza has been going on for 130 days (+75 years). It is estimated that 20,000+ Palestinian civilians have been killed with presumed thousands unaccounted for buried under the rubble.

This is collective punishment and it is a war crime. Collective punishment is a war crime.

I waited so long to speak on this here because I wasn't really sure how to. Before Oct 7th, had no clue of what was happening between Israel and Palestine through every fault of my own. I have been reposting from creators on other social media platforms but I was unsure how to do so here.

Another company to boycott is Starbucks, they are not on the BDS list but a grassroots boycott has been started. This is because the company filed a lawsuit against a union of Starbucks workers who posted pro-Palestinian content. They are also very well known for mistreating their employees so it's really worth not going for multiple reasons. Support local coffee shops, they taste better and cost less money :)

They are an account on TikTok who has created a spreadsheet with the GoFundMe's of Palestinian trying to leave Gaza. On the spreadsheet you can see how much progress the family has made with their fundraising, why they need help, and can allow you to connect with that family or their representative via their social media. Drop the recipe bestie!

I am genuinely surprised people love this so much, but it's very easy! My mom's friends on FB also asked for the recipe.

I put some chicken in a baking dish and then covered it in fresh tomatoes, filling in the gaps with fresh garlic cloves. And also made some regular white rice.

Then chopped a bunch of fresh basil and sprinkled that on top, then cracked a lot of salt and pepper and drizzled with olive oil. Then put slices of fresh mozzarella on top of the tomatoes, and drizzled balsamic glaze on top of everything.

Baked it for 15 minutes at 380, took it out to check the temp of the chicken and poured the juices into some cooked rice to give it some flavor.

Then another 5 minutes at 400, and then under the broiler for a few minutes! My boyfriend put oregano on his, and we both put extra balsamic and basil on after he plated the baked mess onto a bed of rice.

Are there any new fics you plan on working on in 2024?

Hi there!

I plan on continuing/finishing if not today, maybe tomorrow because it's been on hiatus for quite a while now, but I've been so busy with liquid gold and my RC fanfic that I kinda lost track of intmt. The problem with planning new fics is that fb is constantly putting out new content and people lose interest in previous seasons almost immediately.

Take S7 for example: I'm not even halfway through lg yet, but the season is already over and S8 will be released in February. No one will give a shit about Alex. I talked to @libelle949 about it and we both said we're just sick of it and have lost our motivation to continue our S7 fics because of fb.

So it's safe to say that I won't be posting any more content for the newer seasons (or maybe just focusing on one-shots instead of chaptered fics) and would rather go back to the "older" seasons (I'm mainly talking about S1-4). In a way, those LIs are easier to write anyway because they feel like full fledged characters, whereas the LIs of the newer seasons are almost always interchangeable and you basically have to make up your own headcanons for every detail about them.

Phew, I just had to get that off my chest, sorry 😩

So, what are my plans?

finish my ongoing chaptered fics intmt, lg and Dead of Night

focus on one-shots and especially challenge myself to write for LIs I haven’t written for before
