Thanks so much for tagging me @peelingitwithpeels :)
Tagging to play: @nylaporp @catastrophic-bi-tch @impala67-aka-baby @canonsensical
3 ships: Dean Winchester/Castiel (spn), Poussey Washington/Brook Soso (oitnb, I've been rewatching and I'm reminded of the fact that I'll never know peace after them), Nathan Byrn/Annalise O'Brien/Gabriel Boutin (tbsatdh, rip to them and my hopes and dreams for them ect.)
First ever ship: Technically I think it was Nick and Macy from Jonas L.A. (I was very intense about them as a disney kid).
Last song: Monster in Me by Little Mix
Last movie: I stopped in the middle of Guardians of the Galaxy last week, so I guess that counts.
Currently reading: I've put off reading Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell for long enough so I'm gonna start that at some point soon (probably not).
Currently watching: Rebelde (I have so much to say)
Currently consuming: I'm having cold shrimp lo mein.
Currently craving: I'd really like cranberry ginger ale and a banana right now. I hope that doesn't sound dumb.

Jason and Kevin L are bffs from go. Nick L and Nate are attempting to destroy one another both musically also also possibly literally. Shane and Joe L probably start off disliking one another (some sort of hair related rivalry?) and then about halfway through the movie/season become buddies (possibly bonding over their hair)?
I think Stella and Mitchie are having cappuccinos from the fancy machine Brown has in his rooms that Shane doesn’t know exists despite having been at camp for years. Macy is in probably off golfing with Jason and Kev L.
I think Trevor and Frankie L own the majority stock shareholdings of the camp by the end of the 1st week.
I would watch this movie. 🎥
I'm obsessed
Shane and Joe L. hate each other before they meet because Teenster magazine put up a poll on their site over who has better hair - it came out 50/50
And then they met at Camp Rock and realized they had more in common than they thought so they bond over their hair care secrets
Stella and Mitchie bond over their dumbass (affectionate) boyfriends and Mitchie hires Stella as her stylist
Nick L. and Nate G. are upset that their brothers are "fratenizing with the enemy"
Trevor becomes a music video director for both bands
Frankie definitely becomes Jonas' manager when their dad decides to retire at 45

Opening Talent Super Gigolo
Gigi Lolo is an opening talent for Superstars Live in London. She is one of the best and most talented performers on the stage, and she's definitely one to watch out for.
Lea Michele
Despite all the rumors, Lea Michele has been quietly dating former gigolo Matthew Paetz for the last several months. They have been seen holding hands in New York. However, Lea has kept the relationship a secret and doesn't reveal it to the public.
Matthew is a certified life coach, and charges $6000 for a weekend. He also charges $350 for an hour. He also appears in a music video as an extra. He is also a certified massage therapist. However, he does not have a role in Funny Girl, and is not Lea's boyfriend.
Nick Jonas
Besides being the heir to his pop's throne, Nick Jonas is also a talented songwriter, albeit the youngest of three siblings. He also has the distinction of being the only member of his band to go on tour solo. His latest album, This Is Your Life, contains the most impressive collection of songs to date. He also has a burgeoning love interest in Macy Misa.
Nick is actually quite a nice guy. He gets along with his fellow musicians, and his eldest brother, Kevin. He does not like to admit it, but he is also a sucker for a good time. During one such excursion, Nick falls into the sea and learns the hard way that he has a new squeeze.
Rihanna
During a live show in Los Angeles on Sunday, pop star Rihanna announced that she'll open the talent super gigolo for the 2023 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. She also alluded to the news on Instagram. She's been performing in the show for five years, but has never been one of the headliners. The last time she performed, she was accompanied by Maxwell, Burna Boy, and Anitta. In the show, she also introduced her new dancer, Don Toliver. She enlisted a number of celebrities, dancers, and musical acts to appear in the show.
Justin Bieber
Earlier this year, Justin Bieber started the Justice World Tour to support his latest album, Justice. The tour is set to stop in 20 countries, including five continents. The tour will run until March 25, 2023. It features a 24-song set list full of hits from Justin Bieber's earlier career as well as songs from his latest project. It's also got impressive props and wardrobe changes to impress fans. The tour will feature special guests such as Harry Hudson, Eddie Benjamin and JADEN. The tour will be supported by T-Mobile and AEG.

hot take: nick’s feelings for macy didn’t come out of nowhere in jonas la, he thought she was cute in season one when she was a crazy fangirl (watch the, albeit few, scenes they have together, he’s smiling at her in almost all of them, something the show establishes he only does when he likes a girl), and then when he saw her again after months apart, and she was she not such an obsessed fangirl and he could see more of her actual amazing personality, he knew that he was well and truly fucked

Westember :Tall Tale
Tumblr media
@ariel-seagull-wings @amalthea9 @metropolitan-mutant-of-ark @marquisedemasque @theancientvaleofsoulmaking @lord-antihero @filmcityworld1 @princesssarisa
This 1995 film follows farm boy Daniel Hackett (Nick Stahl ) ,seeking to protect his home from the greedy developer J.P. Stiles (Scott Glenn) ,and ends up getting the help of the heroes from tall tales his father Jonas (Stephen Lang ) had told him:Pecos Bill (Patrick Swayze ) , John Henry (Roger Aaron Brown ) and Paul Bunyan (Oliver Platt) . So this film is kind of special cause it is a western fantasy film ,kind of a rarity . As a film it was good ,its an enjoyable movie.ITs alkso really fun as someone who grew up hearing these Tall Tales (John Henry being my favorite as a kid ) .I think the film is gorgeous, really feeling like a fairy tale in places in the production design .The fantastical stuff like John Henry splitting a rock in two, Paul Bunyans blue ox and Pecos Bill riding a tornado are all awesome .I like that Scott Glenn as the villain feels very devilish ,using the kids own words to try to tempt him . We have a good supporting cast with Stphen Lang as the father and Jared Harris as the main henchman, with some fun cameos by Catherine O Hara ,William H Macy , and Burgess Meredith .Roger Aaron Brown and Patrick Swayze perfectly embody the larger then life heroics of these larger then life heroes . Nick Stahl as the lead was good, though his characters CONSTANT disbelief got grating at moments . My main issue with the film is Paul Bunyan : I get that they didnt want to make him a GIANT like in the stories ,but kind of lame to just make him a mountain man , I feels he is written to complainy ,Oliver Platt is really miscasted ,and he really annoyed me .That said ,this was enjoyable

That’s such a sweet memory! So I’m assuming you the jonas brothers are your comfort characters but what are some disney channel characters you relate the most to? (stealing this question from another secret santa) -🎅
Anything Jonas related is my comfort media. I mean since you brought up Jonas I definitely relate to Macy because of her love for all things Jonas and I would love to relate to her because of dating Nick so...
I also love the relatability of the characters that like even though they're secret superstars or psychics or from the future, they're just trying to figure themselves out and navigate the world, ya know?

Folds in Paper (Chapter 8: In the Nick of Time)[Folds in Time Universe]
Fandom: Sanders Sides
Relationships: Janus/Patton, Remus & Roman, eventual Logan/Virgil (maybe more)
Characters:
Main: Janus, Patton, Remus
Appear: Remy, Emile, Virgil, Logan, Roman
Summary: Janus, a disillusioned senior agent working for the Time Preservation Initiative, struggles to find meaning in a world where time travel could change everything about your life’s history in less than a moment. When time distortions start popping up, threatening the timeline and the fabric of reality as he knows it, it becomes a race against the clock to fix the damage before everything unravels. And the problem with time travel… you never how long you have before the clock strikes 12 and your time is up.
With a partner who has more mysteries in his past than Janus had anticipated and an enigmatic free agent time traveler mucking about time always with a clever pun or a time appropriate pet name on his lips, Janus will need to figure out what went wrong with time, and more importantly, how to fix it.
Chapter Summary:
The TPI let’s Nick go... just in time.
Notes: Time travel AU, mystery, enemies to lovers, alcohol
This is a fic I’ve been writing on study breaks that you have probably all already seen at this point. I’ve slightly edited it for wording and grammar, but not for content from my previous posts. Feel free to send in asks to direct it because I’m not 100% sure where this is going and you can help decide if you feel so inclined! You can see the process I went through to build this at this link.
I also have a playlist on youtube (because Spotify didn’t have one of the songs I wanted).

Pat looked up as Janus stepped into the interrogation room. “Hi,” he said with an innocent smile that could cut steal.
Janus didn’t say a word as he took a seat; he just watched him intently. He leaned slightly over the table and steepled his fingers in front of his chin. “So, your name is Nick this time?” Janus asked.
“Nicholas Jonas,” he said. “Always has been.”
“Stop it,” Janus said.
“Stop what?”
“Cut the crap. I know.”
Pat leaned forward, mirroring Janus as he leaned closer, interlocking his fingers and laying his chin on top of his knuckles. “What did you say your name was again?” he asked, pleasantly.
“Janus,” Janus replied.
“No, I’m Jonas,” he said, pointing to his chest.
“Not Jonas,” Janus spat. “Janus.”
“Um,” Pat said, eyes alight with amusement. The bastard. “Those are the same words.”
“No, they’re not. It’s Janus. J-A-N-U-S.”
“Well, that’s confusing,” Pat said with a frown, but his nose was crinkling. “It’s close to my name. You should go by a nickname instead.”
“What?” Janus said. “No.”
Pat hummed. “How about Love Bug?”
“What! No!” Janus sputtered, almost flipping the table, as Pat winked at him.
“BB Good?”
“What does that even mean?!”
“Mandy.”
“No!”
“Okay, okay, how about Macy Misa.”
Janus stared at him for a moment. “Fine. Whatever. What was I even talking about?”
“Hmm. I Believe we were talking about my name and how you think it’s not my name.”
“Right,” Janus said. “So, Nick. That was your roommate, Kevin on the phone, right? He seemed a bit unhappy with you. Any reason?”
“Nah, we’re Cool” said Pat. “That’s Just the Way We Roll.”
“Not because you’re messing up a mission right now?”
Pat’s eyes crinkled together. “A mission?” he parroted. “I’m not messing up a mission.”
“Oh, really?” Janus growled. “Because you’ve been captured by the TPI, and I know who you are and what you’ve been doing.”
“I have no idea what the TPI is,” he claimed.
“Yes, you do!” Janus said, standing up. “You obviously do! Or you wouldn’t be playing this game!”
“Game?” Pat asked. “Macy, I ask you what you’re talking about.”
“This is all just a game to you isn’t it!” Janus said, slamming his hands down on the table in front of them.
“Whoa,” Pat said, putting his hands up. “Calm down. Your face is getting all red. You must be Burnin’ Up.”
“I’m not sure what, but something about what you just said pisses me off.”
“And that is five minutes,” Khalid said, bursting into the room. He felt a tug on the back of his shirt and glared back at Remus who was putting his own body between Janus and Pat.
“There was no way that was five minutes,” Janus growled.
“It was five minutes,” Khalid gritted out. “Clockson, get him out of here.”
“Come on Jay,” Remus said, dragging him back towards the door.
“Remus, I swear to god,” Janus said after the door closed behind them.
“Just chill, Janus,” Remus said.
Janus shrugged him off. “You chill!” he snapped. “He’s playing you all for the fool.”
“Wow, Macy,” Remy drawled like an asshole. “I’ve never seen you so fired up.”
“Oh, my gosh. No one is going to believe me, and he’s going to get away with this.”
“You’re not really helping your case, babe,” Remy said.
Remus grabbed him by the shoulders again. “Here, let’s go get some water.”
“I don’t want water,” he said even as he let Remus lead him to another room to get a glass of water.
“Look,” Remus said. “I know the Mask Guy thing really sucked, but you have to look at the facts.
“I am looking at the facts,” Janus insisted, “and the facts are, he’s fucking with me.”
“You don’t know what Mask Guy looks like,” Remus said. “You didn’t see Nick take the time bomb, he has an ID from this time period and a roommate in this time he called on the phone, and he legitimately seems to not know what any of us are talking about.”
“Did you even listen to our conversation?” Janus asked. “He was screwing with me the entire time!”
“Janus…” Remus said.
“What?” Janus said, narrowing his eyes at Remus’s tone.
“I know you recently had a bad experience, but not everyone who flirts with you is doing it out of evil.”
Janus’s mouth hung open for a few seconds. “That’s what you got out of our conversation?”
“He called you Love Bug.”
Janus felt his face heat a bit at the reminder. “That’s not… I. I’m stealing your cat and then never speaking to you again.”
Remus laughed. “Ah,” he said. “Young lust.”
Janus elbowed him roughly in the side. “No!”
“Yes!” he crooned, pleased.
“You are the worst partner,” Janus hissed. “When I’m right you owe me 10 loafs of your fresh bread.”
“Branching out from poptarts?” Remus asked.
Janus shook his head. He still wasn’t happy about the state of things, but he could feel himself cooling down a bit.
Khalid came out of the interrogation room after a few minutes, leaving Pat with Remy. “What was that?” she asked him.
“He got under my skin,” Janus said.
“We’ll talk about it later,” she said. “For now, we’re letting him go and then going back to looking for the bomb like we’re meant to be.”
“Fine,” Janus relented. “Just do me the favor of tagging him before he leaves. Just that. I beg of you.”
“Sure,” she agreed. “If it will calm you down.”
He nodded.
“Then, let’s go,” she said. When they met back up with Remy and Pat, he saw Khalid make the subtle gesture that would tag Pat like they would have for the Millennium Birds. Pat sent him what could pass as a sweet smile if Janus didn’t know better. Then, they walked him outside, leaving Remy on clean-up duty for the make-shift security office.
“So, I’m free to go?” Pat asked. His bemused expression edged far too much on the side of amused verses confused for Janus’s taste.
“You are,” Khalid said. “Have fun at the festivities.”
His hands went flapping about. “Oh, you too!” he said. “Well, I guess you’re working, but you can have fun anyways, I’m sure.”
“We’ll do our best,” she said.
He gave her a blinding smile and reached forward to shake her hand enthusiastically. Janus rolled his eyes and looked up at the heavens. “It was nice to meet you!” he said, “and you too, Agent Clockson!” He turned to meet Janus’s eyes. “Macy Misa.”
Janus pressed his lips together.
Then, Pat turned and walked away.
“Well, now that we’re done with that,” Khalid said, turning to them. “We have only a few more hours before midnight and we really need to find the time bomb.
“Oh,” Pat called. He’d paused a few yards away and turned back to them. “Thanks for letting me go so easily by the way,” he said, “and just in the Nick,” he winked, “of time too.” Janus narrowed his eyes at him. He smiled back. “Wrist check,” he said holding up his arm to show off the timepiece there. Khalid immediately looked down at her own wrist just to see that the one timepiece that could move through the time lock was no longer there. Pat made a gesture and disappeared.
All three of them stared at the spot he’d been for a long moment.
Janus was the one to speak first. “I want. The yellow. To be erased. From my record.”

Who is allowing me to watch old compilations of Nick and Macy and Joe and Stella moments from JONAS and JONAS LA?
All the memories are coming back and it’s A LOT.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?- well since you mentioned the JONAS tv show- Kev, Joe, and Nick Lucas?
LISTEN
I'm currently watching the show as if it's the first time because haven't watched it since they stopped showing reruns - so like 2011
I don't remember any plots just moments
Overall I HC that after high school Jonas took a hiatus. The three of them wanted to find themselves individually away from each other. Not in a malicious way. But it ended up strengthening their bond as brothers.
For Kevin he stepped back from the spotlight during the hiatus. Met a girl. Fell in love. Got married. He did guest host an episode of Leprechaun Hunter and people started petitioning for him to get his own show.
For Joe I always shipped him and Stella wholeheartedly even before they became canon and I do believe they got married. While she remained the band's stylist, she started her own fashion brand. During the hiatus Joe had a successful solo career which he revisits between Jonas albums.
As for Nick as much as I love Macy I never saw them together in the long run. They had fun together but broke up. They remained friends and she ended up becoming head of the Jonas PR team. Nick had a side project similar to his IRL counterpart (Nick Jonas & the Administration) which he releases a new album with every few years.
Ask me this question again after I complete my binging of the series because I'll no doubt have way more HCs for them and all the characters

Jake Hoot wins Season 17, Kelly Clarkson’s third win
CLOSE
Tumblr media
It was the season of country.
Jake Hoot – the lone country singer in the competition – was crowned the Season 17 champion of “The Voice” during Tuesday’s finale, handing coach Kelly Clarkson her third win in four seasons on the show.
This is something of a Cinderella story for Hoot, who went from receiving only one chair turn during the Blind Auditions to becoming the champion, all thanks to his beloved Hooters.
“I’m a Hooter for life,” Clarkson triumphantly declared, referring to his rowdy fan base that loves to yell “Hoooot” after each performance. Clarkson added, “That’s right, Mom. That’s what I said.”

The Tennessee native thanked Clarkson for helping him grow as an “artist and a person, and with your love of your kids, you’ve made me a better parent.”
Hoot, 31, a single father to 4-year-old daughter Macy, earned a single turn from Clarkson during the Blinds for his rendition of Luke Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours.”
Fellow coach Blake Shelton had his eye on Hoot, but didn’t press his button because he assumed that Clarkson would use her block on him. Shelton assumed wrong, and ultimately missed out on his seventh title as a result.
“Jake, I’m so proud of you. You are a one-chair turn, man, and you’re standing in the finale,” Clarkson said during Tuesday’s show. “I’m so honored to be your coach.”
When the votes were tallied, Ricky Duran (Team Blake) finished in second place; Katie Kadan (Team John Legend) came in third; Rose Short (Team Gwen Stefani) in fourth.
This marked the first time in seven seasons where each coach was represented in the finale and had an equal chance of their contestant taking home the coveted trophy.
“This has been the most talented group of singers,” Clarkson added.

The two-hour season finale felt like a concert, with more than a dozen guest performances and post-competition duets with the Top 4 and their musical heroes.
Kadan and Adam Lambert tore the house down with a powerful rendition of Cher’s “Believe.” Lambert and Kadan have a lot in common: He finished as a runner-up on Season 8 of “American Idol” in 2009.
Duran and Gary Clark Jr. – the finalist’s “all-time idol” and “one of the best guitarists in the world,” according to host Carson Daly – joined forces for “Pearl Cadillac.” But it was their epic guitar solos that stole the show.
Short went back to her gospel roots while singing one of her favorite songs, “In the Midst of It All,” with Yolanda Adams, while Hoot looked right at home next to country group Little Big Town while performing “Over Drinking.”

Some fan-favorite contestants who were eliminated throughout the season got another chance on “The Voice” stage.
Max Boyle, Alex Guthrie, Shane Q and Will Breman – some of the season’s most soulful voices – channeled a boy band during their psychedelic performance of The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin.’ ”

Hello Sunday, Myracle Holloway and Joana Martinez gave the boys a run for their money with a girl group of their own. The ladies showed off their choreographed moves during a sassy rendition of The Supremes’ “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.”
That wasn’t the only girl power during the night. Kat Hammock, Marybeth Byrd, Gracee Shriver and Cali Wilson took on Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Moon.”

Lady Antebellum performed their single “What If I Never Get Over You.” The Black Eyed Peas brought a vibrant light show to the stage with their song “Ritmo (Bad Boys for Life).” (Will.i.am served as an adviser for Team Gwen during the Battles.)
Last year’s “Voice” winner, Maelyn Jarmon, spread the holiday cheer with a candlelit performance of Judy Garland’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” “It feels like coming home,” she said.
She wasn’t the only “Voice” alum to make a return. Former coach Jennifer Hudson offered up a dramatic performance of “Memory” from the upcoming film “Cats,” which she stars in alongside Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson and Taylor Swift, who served as a “mega-mentor” for all teams during the Knockouts.
Other guest performances included Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” and Luke Combs’ “Even Though I’m Leaving.”

The end of Season 17 is bittersweet. Stefani will not return alongside her boyfriend next season. The rocker will be replaced in the coach chair by Nick Jonas, one-third of the multiplatinum Jonas Brothers band.
“I’m so excited to be a part of ‘The Voice’ family,” Jonas said in October. “It’s such an awesome group of individuals, and I can’t wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.”
