Stopping humanitarian aid IS collective punishment -and the fact that most politicians, ministers, or people in the positions of power in governments will not recognize it as such as an absolute travesty. Vulnerable Palestinian people who will only become even more vulnerable because of something like this... it's beyond disgraceful.

Egyptian Foreign Minister against Hamas
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shekri, manages to upset all Hamas supporters on social media, with what he said this evening at a conference in Munich:
Hamas is outside the Palestinian consensus.
We need to come to account with those who financed it and strengthened it and deepened the Palestinian rift.
##
The Egyptian Foreign Minister kicks Hamas in its difficult hour, in front of the cameras, at an international event.
It's not something you see every day.
The Egyptians are the ones who sit with Hamas at the Rafah crossing, on their doorstep...
And regarding responsibility for financing Hamas, the Egyptian minister alludes to the direction of Qatar...

HUNGARIAN FOREIGN MINISTER SLAMS U.S. ORDERS TO RATIFY SWEDEN'S ADMISSION INTO NATO
Hungary's Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, slammed the United States Thursday for giving orders to Hungary demanding the Hungarian parliament quickly ratify Sweden's admission into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Speaking on Wednesday, U.S. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, warned the Hungarian authorities that American patience has its limits and that Washington is waiting for Hungary to ratify Sweden's ascension into NATO.
In response to Sullivan's comments, Szijjarto dismissed U.S. concerns and slammed Washington for interfering in Hungarian affairs, telling reporters with Russian news agency Ria Novosti, "First of all, I want to be clear: everyone must understand that Hungary is a sovereign country. And it is not only that everyone must understand this, but that everyone must respect it. Regardless of whether it's a superpower of the East, a superpower of the West or any other country, they must respect that Hungary is a state and the Hungarian parliament is a sovereign body," adding that Hungary will never act on instructions coming from another nation.
"These kinds of statements are completely unnecessary, they show disrespect for Hungary. We never criticize US decisions. We never criticize congressional decisions. We never interfere with what they put on the agenda or what they don't included in it. And we expect the same from others,” Szijjarto warned.
“So, to be honest, we are not concerned about such instructions. Because we are not the 51st state, but a very sovereign country,” the Hungarian Foreign Minister added.
Previously, the Hungarian parliament failed to pass Sweden's admission into NATO due to a "lack of quorum" resulting from a boycott by opposition parties in Hungary's main governing body.
Turkiye's Grand National Assembly previously ratified Sweden's bid to enter NATO in mid-January, meaning Hungary remains the last holdout for Sweden's ascension into the alliance.

The brand new French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné made a point of making Kyiv his first official visit since taking office this week.
On Friday morning, Séjourné said support for Ukraine was one of his priorities alongside working toward the reform of international institutions and promoting Europe as "a powerhouse." "Helping Ukraine guarantees the victory of democracy over totalitarianism," he said as he took over responsibilities at the foreign ministry. Séjourné's trip to Ukraine comes on the heels of a visit from U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who pledged to give Kyiv £2.5 billion in military aid in 2024/25. The former Renew Europe Group president also said he would visit Warsaw and Berlin in a bid to "revive the Weimar triangle," a reference to the regional alliance between France, Germany and Poland set up after the Cold War.
Along with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Mr. Séjourné visited the Memory Wall in Kyiv.

"You need to give a lesson to a whole generation of politicians that breaking the constitution, breaking the law, is not without consequences. Constitutions are only as good as the integrity of the people in key positions to uphold the rules. And when they don't uphold the rules, they need to see that it is detrimental to their careers, and worse. Constitutions don't defend themselves."
— Radek Sikorski, Foreign Minister (Poland)

🚨 IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER SPEAKS TO UK FOREIGN MINISTER IN CALL ON ISRAEL'S SIEGE AND GENOCIDE IN GAZA
In a phone call Friday between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and the United Kingdom, Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told the Foreign Minister of the UK, James Cleverly, that the UK must adopt a "realistic" approach to the developments in the near East, and told the British Foreign Minister that the roots of the crises lay in Israel's occupation of Palestine.
"I advise that the British government adopt a realistic approach to the region's developments," Iran's Foreign Minister said.
"In whatever approach, one should know that Palestine's crisis is rooted in occupation by the Israeli regime."
Hossein told Cleverly, "From the perspective of the international law, the people of the occupied country enjoy a right to legitimate defense."
Iran's top diplomat went on to urge Israel's immediate cessation of hostilities on Gaza and demanded the entry of humanitarian supplies.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, 9'299 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, with more than 25'000 injured in the latest round of fighting.

Rumors spread like wildfire among the diplomatic circles that South Africa's Foreign Minister had whispered something about the BRICS Bloc's possible expansion. Though no one could confirm what exactly it was, the suspicion that it involved a substantial number of new members was enough to get people buzzing. Of course, that was no surprise, as the BRICS alliance had been gaining momentum for years, ever since it was founded just a short decade ago. What could the foreign minister's statement mean? Speculation ran rampant, and the possibilities were endless. Was it the dawn of a new era, or an ominous sign of things to come? The details remain wrapped in mystery, and only time will tell as to what this sudden announcement could portend. It's only certain that those within the diplomatic circles must've sensed a shift in the winds, and the ripples of the turmoil are sure to spread far and wide. What the future holds is still unknown, and the truth may never be revealed. But as the speculation rages on, one thing is abundantly clear: the BRICS Bloc is about to become something entirely new.
