Instead of wasting an episode on Rampart, they should of just had Echo and Rex appear with the coordinates to Tantiss base. At least it would make more sense as to why Echo was missing for five episodes and they could explain that he was tracking down the base location with Rex. But instead the writers went with the guy we haven't seen or mentioned in 20 episodes.

I think we're all just working off of the silhouettes? there's the ones that are in the PV, and then the full-body ones from this tweet (plus a couple of as-yet-unreleased character logos on the bottom); if there's been any other info released, I haven't seen it. so...mostly it's just speculation and wild guesses!

based on the ones we've gotten so far, it's going to be literally impossible to tell who anyone is before they're revealed, but it's still pretty fun to guess! I'm still holding out a tender hope that maybe Fourze or Meteor is hidden in there...somewhere...😔

Oh okay. It’s over for us forever and ever #and the fact that he was still open and still kind of okay before that just kind of makes it worse #that he was just betrayed and left hanging and lost everyone he thought he had in one fell swoop #ascension jades the fuck out of him and you can see it. like through the whole series there are threads of it #his tendency to rely on skinner regresses for a while. he becomes even less functional when scully is gone. #he has far less patience for his informants and he refuses to rely on anyone the way he tried to on krycek #like it’s just. such an obvious shift in his character that you can tell his mindset about his and scully’s life has changed #and that’s a huge part of the show’s tragedy i think. ​there is no peace. there is no rest. it’s never going to be okay

The language part (ie the Main Actual Game) of Chants of Sennaar is very fun don't get me wrong - figuring out when a radical means person, or signifies a verb, etc etc - but the number system is absolutely fascinating

#like it's base 10; this is a language game not a maths one #but the way the numbers are written is like. this would make more sense with images but I'm in the tags now #take the number 1342. that's 1x1000 3x100 4x10 2x1 that's how we write it #instead of place columns this system uses quadrants #there is a central thick line. bottom right is units; bottom left tens; top right 100s; top left 1000s #this is a fun and compact way to write a four digit number! #but what about a 5 digit one? 6? bigger? #I don't think the game needs numbers that big but I'm going to follow this train of thought to a conclusion - just use another line+quadran #fairly normal idea- run out of space on your first one? add a second! #but where it gets fun is that means; putting it back into base 10 numerals and keeping the digit separation the same; a long number might b #grouped like: 1 4637 3427 #and if you are used to the western way of grouping digits that looks weird! I would have more sympathy for people complaining about "Damian being treated as Bruce's only real child because they are related by blood" if Damian didn't literally spent probably over 75% of his existence doing something far away from his father while Bruce doesn't even comment on the fact that he hasn't seen his son in months and has no idea what he's doing.
