❥ request: HIIIII i absolutely love your work! this is my first ever request and i was hoping for a sick (like having a cold or something) reader x bsd port mafia. im not sure if someone has already requested this but if you do accept this thank you so so so muuch 🖤

he’s kind of in the middle ground of all these characters

he knows how to take care of someone when theyre sick and he knows not to get to close to you

which means he should be perfect at this right...?

wrong!

he constantly wants to be around you when youre feeling ill, what if you need his help and he’s not there??

like he will refuse to let you out of his proximity for even a minute, so he’ll do one of two things

1. move you into his office at the port mafia base (this includes all your belongings as well. all of them.)

he literally bought a pull out couch that turns into a bed just so you have somewhere comfy to sleep

cue akutagawa walking in to talk business with chuuya and youre just passed out on the bed

“... what is all this”

“she’s sick, obviously”

and then he continues to dump all his missions on his subordinates because obviously he needs to be around you!!!! what if u need water!! or food!! or anything!!

or 2. he will move his office into your apartment you kind of prefer option 1...

this once resulted in MORI coming to the apartment because he needed chuuya and chuuya was too busy helping you to pick up any of his calls.. 😭 having mori in your apartment while you were a snotty red faced mess was not exactly how you wanted your afternoon to go

despite him being a pain in the ass you always appreciate his efforts and at the end of the day, even if youre still feeling unwell, you find being around chuuya always makes your sick days a little better

akutagawa

he takes sicknesses so seriously !!! he knows it isn’t something to take lightly at all and he really tries to help you when you are sick

will try finish all his jobs as soon as possible even if it means killing literally everyone in his way just so he can get home and tend to you

if he’s rly worried over you he’ll ask mori for a day off... and mori gives it to him i mean when has akutagawa ever been this desperate before

i headcanon that gin does all the cooking so he will call her and ask if she can make soups or whatever food you want and she always delivers (i mean youre her brothers partner!! she loves u sm !!!)

he’ll take your fever and will literally hand feed you if your bodys too sore to do it yourself

u only let him stay so close to you because he wears a mask for his own safety when he’s around you

when ur asleep sometimes he’ll sneak you a little forehead kiss but ONLY when your asleep he has an image to uphold here!!

he’ll run you warm baths and will pour in whatever scent and salts are your favourite

and if you’re really sore he’ll even help you wash your body

and these r your FAVOURITE moments with him ever there is nothing better than akutagawa pressing circles into your back with your favourite soap

he’ll end it with a kiss to the top of your head, letting you know he’ll be just outside the door if you need any help HES SO CUTE

he rly just tries anything to make you feel better, he know’s how horrible sickness is, even if all you have is a small cold

when you mention how much he mustve missed you when you’re cuddling in bed once youre feeling better he’ll mumble a small “you wish” but you can feel him smiling into your back

tachihara

hes a bit hopeless... 😭

but will he try his hardest? yes!

he’ll mainly just do whatever you ask him

want water? done! want more blankets? done!!!!

just be careful cuz he will try to cuddle u... you have to push him off of you because

he will usually just prompt to getting take away another boy who cant cook and will order your favourite food to keep you eating

or if he thinks you need something a little healthier he will also call gin this poor girl 😭😭 and beg her to make u something

usually she would say no there is no way she is going out of her way to help him... but since its you she’ll give in (everyone at the pm is obsessed with you, in gin’s words “i’ll never understand how he managed to pull you”)

if your body feels really sore he’ll give u massages

sometimes you lie about feeling sore because nothing is better than sitting between his legs while he works on your back

and if he catches on to your lie he doesnt even care! nothing is better to him than making you feel comfortable

usually the day will end with him putting a movie on (only if you want to watch something) and he’ll wrap you up in a mountain of blankets and make you some tea

you usually fall asleep during the movie so he’ll give you a chaste forehead kiss and snuggle up next to you cue you getting angry when you wake up to him clinging onto you

gin

just like her brother she takes them seriously

she’ll spend all her free time at your side (despite your protests) and since you refuse to let her indulge in cuddles she’ll prompt to sitting next to you and holding your hand.. and plz just let her do this she misses u sm

since she can’t kiss you she’ll randomly bend down at times and kiss each of your knuckles 😭😭💔💔💔 and if you try to protest she doesn’t care she needs to kiss you one way or another

one time you gave in and let her cuddle you because she was practically begging and it ended up with the two of you sick in bed the next day... you don’t let her do that anymore!

and it’s finally time to use her cooking skills for her own priorities those scabby boys

she’ll cook you soup after soup because she knows even if you do want something that’s not a liquid you’re not gonna be able to eat it anyways, so she spends her time making meals she knows you’ll actually be able to eat

if you’re struggling to eat she’ll sit with you and take her time eating her own meal just so you don’t feel any pressure to rush yourself

and if you can’t eat that’s okay too!! she’ll make you some tea or just water if that’s all you want and will leave you to drink it as you please

she’ll also massage you if you’re feeling sore, she loves doing it too the tenderness of it makes her heart melt

she’ll rub small circles into your forearms, knead the skin on your back and legs, whatever you want!

when you’re tired and want to sleep she’ll layer as many blankets on top of you as you want

she prompts to sleeping on the couch and you usually try to protest because after all she’s done for you she deserves a good nights rest but she refuses your pleads

you usually wake up to her sleeping with you, but you can tell she’s tried to distance herself from you by the gap between your bodies and when she wakes up she’ll greet you with a quick kiss to your crown, you decide she deserves it

Gintoki/Takasugi reacting to their S/O introducing them as a friend

A/N: low effort post of the day woo

Gintoki:

You thought it'd be fun to pull a prank on him, wondering whether he'd get jealous or mad, even.

The perfect opportunity came up when you stumbled upon an old classmate in the middle of the street.

“Friend? Friend?!? Wait a minute, why am I your friend? Oi, Y/N, do you not hear me?”

Even after your acquaintance left, Gin didn't stop pestering you, bringing it up every three minutes seconds on the way back.

When you got home, he kept pouting and nagging, sighing dramatically out loud. “Can you hand me the remote?” “Sure thing, FRIEND.”

Brings up the incident days after, unless you make some sort of public declaration regarding your relationship status and promise to stop introducing him as your friend.

Until that happens, Gin refuses to touch or kiss you, acting as If you really are just friends.

Says that if that's all you are, then you wouldn't mind him becoming friends with Ketsuno Ana he wishes.

When you are about to enter Yorozuya so that you can go to bed together, he closes the door on you, saying that friends don’t sleep with one another.

Even if some time passes and you go back to being intimate, he might ask whether friends really do such things or whether you do such things with all your friends.

Makes you memorize an entire repertoire consisting of ways to introduce him to others. wouldn't mind you addressing him as sir or master

Overall, the most petty out of the four.

Takasugi:

You did not just call him your friend. Him, Takasugi Shinsuke, your friend.

It was probably a bad idea, but even so you were curious to see what would happen. Would he get jealous? Would he even care?

His glare was enough to both set the world ablaze and freeze the seas, I promise you that much.

You can hear boss music coming from your side and all of a sudden you see three hearts pop up in the top corner of your screen.

After he is done glaring, Takasugi will go along with the name you assigned him, quietly escorting you and your friend to dinner.

He actually behaved himself, acting kindly and even offering to pay for the whole thing. It looked as if he wasn't bothered in the slightest by your comment.

How disappointing.

But when your actual friend asked whether you could handle eating your portion and you said it was too big to handle?

“That’s not what you said last night.”

He said that in the calmest and nonchalant tone, sipping his drink as if it was nothing.

It was your turn to go silent, glaring at his smirking expression, while doing your best to change the topic.

Supposing you got your lesson, he won't make a big fuss out of it. He is petty, but not that petty.

However, if you still tried anything similar on him, then he'd make it so that you'd never be able to call him your friend again, leaving a visible trail of marks upon you that speaks of your relationship on its own.

Takasugi doesn’t like to be called your friend, but make no mistake to call him your boyfriend either. Who knows how he'll react?

Akutagawa and his tea

First off, he loves his tea.

Akutagawa enjoys the taste and warm feeling it brings, in an inconstant world, it's calming to him.

It wasn't something he drank in the beginning, bc why would you drink boiled leaf water?

However, knowing what his health is like, Gin essentially forced him into it.

She'd sit him down and start boiling some water whenever there was a moment of time.

Akutagawa didn't really get it, but it's Gin, so he just went along with it, since she seemed to be happy when he drank it.

At first, it wasn't really to his liking, but after a little bit, he grew to become an AVID tea-drinker.

Not only does he enjoy the tea, but he found the time spent with his younger sister precious.

Given the little amount of time they could really spend together, he'd use the opportunity to really listen to her and talk.

He may really suck at emotional stuff, but he can be a good listener when he wants to be.

Whenever Gin has something to tell him, he'd go quiet and listen intently to everything, only interrupting on occasion to ask for clarification.

During these times, he could be incredibly patient.

Normally, he really couldn't care less what's going on in other people's minds, but he deeply cares for his sister and is almost always willing to listen to her.

At first, he would only drink tea when they were together, but soon enough, Akutagawa would start drinking it on his own.

Especially when he's separated from her for extended periods of time since it makes him feel like she's still there.

Although when he first started brewing his own tea, he was TERRIBLE at it.

Aku didn't want to ask for help but also had very little idea of what he was doing.

Usually, he'd either end up leaving in the leaves for waaay too long or would take them out too quickly.

And even if he'd manage the time well, he didn't know what temperature to heat the water to and would end up burning the tea.

Eventually, after watching him struggle for much time, Gin would intervene and teach him how to brew tea properly.

He ended up extremely embarrassed, but grateful to her for the help.

From then on, Akutagawa would bring a couple cups for them both whenever he noticed Gin looking tired or unwell.

Although, he still made a lot of mistakes and Gin would be forced to hide her grimace at the incredibly bitter flavour.

Especially given Aku's intense stare while he watches her expression, hoping for a good outcome.

Still, she'd always be grateful for the gesture.

Before long, he's figured out the ins and outs of tea and ends up taking it very seriously.

He knows the effects of each type he drinks and how to properly brew it.

Due to being tired after missions and his lack of time, he usually won't put a whole lot of effort into brewing tea.

However, every so often, he'll take his time and really do the job right.

Usually, this is when he's making it for Gin or when he really just feels the need to destress.

Overall, Akutagawa is an AVID tea-drinker and you cannot convince me otherwise.

fav!character who loves seeing his frame devour you. the way his clothes just swallow you whole, your thighs barely visible. he thinks it's fucking adorable. you tried his pants before but wore his boxers instead. that sight alone drove him mad.

the times where you had to physically climb him in order to get something off a shelf or on the top of the cabinet, he loves it. instead of volunteering to get it for you, he knew you were too prideful to let him do all of the work. your hands grabbing onto his large biceps and toned back, his thin shirt giving you a glimpse of his nipples.

the little things where you still choose to sit on his lap other than any chair available, where he gets to wrap his big arms around you, completely engulfing you.

or when he's wearing a hoodie a little too big for him, (which was huge for you) you like to crawl underneath it, feeling his mellow skin warm you up more than any hoodie or sweater can. he loves it, trust me, he fucking loves it.

he loves helping you out. he isn't sure if his love language is acts of service, or he just loves the way his name rolls off your tongue, cause he's the first one you shout out for when you need help. he's always one call away. ''___'' ''___?'' ''___!'' and he's sprinting to where you are.

whenever he sees you doing something, if it's painting your nails, doing your hair, drawing, brushing your teeth in the morning with messy bed hair, he just loves seeing you in your element.

ACT 1, SCENE 3: blue lock headcanons

sae is into skincare: lotions, serums, the whole set. he and rin used to have self-care nights as children during which they would sit in bed with matching face masks and watch cartoons on the family tablet. if they were in a good mood, they would let you join.

barou listens to classical while working out. no joke. this man is so insanely focused he will shoot goals and play paganini at the same time. his work ethic is low-key why you were attracted to him the first place.

nagi is lazy to the point he will deliberately buy five pairs of the same exact pants just to save himself the trouble of having to choose an outfit in the morning. thank god for reo otherwise nagi would still be dressing like he just crawled out of bed. he still can't do much about his bedhead though.

rin desperately wanted to join sae in the deeper end of the community pool; however, he was deathly afraid of drowning. his only logical solution was to cover himself in pool floaties while he dipped a single toe into the water. even to this day, he still has traumatic memories of that experience. you need to hold his hand every time.

kaiser acts like his football prowess comes entirely from natural talent. in reality, he trains to an obsessive degree behind the scenes. you could come home at midnight, and he would still be there replaying every single highlight of his recent game. he is the type to keep detailed notes about all the players he went up against.

isagi likes to walk around his hometown of saitama and just observe the snapshots of life around him. whether it's a street vendor, children playing on a grass patch, or a couple in the sunset, he secretly enjoys these little vignettes of human experience. he would become sentimental when it comes to you. sometimes you have to pull his head out of the clouds.

nagi has parents who work overseas, so the most he sees of them is through video calls or holiday presents. occasionally, he also gets a birthday card shipped through international mail. when you threw him his first surprise party, he secretly felt touched because his family was never big on physical celebrations.

sae is ridiculously good at anything that involves data and calculations. he participated in a math competition one time in junior high, and he would have made it to the national level had he not been entirely focused on football. refused to tutor rin in algebra though because apparently his little brother has to figure out everything for himself. if it were you though, he would begrudgingly agree.

bachira holds the world record in procrastination. his notebook, pencil, and eraser are still as untouched and pristine as they were on the first day of the academic school year. he does not know what a book is, nor has he read one. he only studied because you refused to cuddle with him otherwise.

ego eats so many cups of instant ramen noodles that his glasses begin to fog up from time to time. anri has to clean the frames and lenses weekly just to make sure his myopic self can even see. at this point, she's the real MVP of the entire series.

barou likes to open the windows right after it rains because he enjoys the sweet smell of petrichor. his ideal day would be spent lounging on a couch with some tea and a novel. it would be even more perfect if you snuggled under the blankets with him.

niko sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night, immensely insecure about his forehead. he thinks it looks giant though it really isn't. you have to brush his fringe back and pepper kisses down his face and remind him that a big forehead means a big, sexy brain, so it really isn't that bad. he believes you and goes back to sleep.

shidou would make fun of boomers. in fact, he'd ridicule every single person he considers past their prime. he does not believe in any form of authority, nor does he like being told what to do. if he had his way, he would have turned the entire world into anarchy a long time ago. the only reason why he doesn't wake up and make himself everyone's problem is because he doesn't want to upset you.

kaiser knows he is very well-endowed physically, so he purposefully walks around your apartment shirtless. if he catches you eyeing him, he will make a big deal out of it. tries to not-so-subtly flex his biceps every time he reaches for the milk carton.

reo loves cocktail dresses, especially in the wine red shade. something about the accentuated figure and natural curves gives him goosebumps. his favorite part of you is when your tummy slightly protrudes after you've eaten too much. you might think it's embarrassing, but he thinks it's adorable.

rin only uses shower gel, mostly because he learned his lesson after using the locker room shower stalls. never use bar soap, always use bottled. he's also the type to always have shower shoes. sae taught him that.

bachira is the type of student to completely misread the question and still not feel bad after the teacher points it out. oh no, he was actually supposed to solve for x, not just circle it? he'll shrug it off like nothing ever happened. at least he tried. the teacher should be grateful for his effort.

sae says he does not understand the sentiments behind cute couple traditions but then proceeds to get upset when you show up to his game without wearing his jersey. would definitely get you matching bracelets for your anniversary.

aiku has a high spice tolerance. he would definitely drown his food either in sriracha or buldak sauce. if you can't handle spicy though, he would set aside a separate plate just for you and manually spoon out the food just to make sure you have something to eat too.

aryu never has dry cuticles. he is always trimming and filing to perfection. sometimes he has beef with your nail tech because he thinks he could have done so much better on your acrylics. refuses to let you go to a salon because he already has all the tools and expertise necessary.

sae does not know how to cook. his manager has always ordered take-out for him. the one time he tried to use a microwave, he completely misread the package instructions and nearly burned the entire building down. called you up with the straightest face afterwards to tell you that the smoke alarms were not shutting off.

barou unconsciously caves into peer pressure. every single new trend makes him rethink his personal style. however, he views it all with an old man mentality. like what are these youngsters doing these days? dying their hair every possible color of the rainbow? he has to do that too. proceeds to call aryu to add red streaks into his own hair. sometimes you have to remind him that external opinion should always taken with a grain of salt.

chigiri has a major sweet tooth. if you so much as bake him one single treat, he will have made plans to put a ring on your finger before he even finishes the damn pastry. his ideal partner is someone mature and understanding who can take care of him well. definitely likes the homemaker type.

gagamaru is the seeing friend in your relationship. no matter how many trips he makes to the optometrist, he will always come back with perfect 20/20 vision. definitely a nature enthusiast, and he loves hiking. even if you're blind as a bat, he will always be there to hold your hand in the dark.

"No, y/n. I suggest you start on them now so you may go attend your plans for the evening," Shunsui speaks softly and you press your lips together.

"Please, Shunsui! I'll do anything in return! I'll write every one of your reports, I'll buy you an endless supply of sake, or I'll even suck your d-" your voice rambles on and Shunsui's heart skips a beat at the last sentence that you don't finish.

You slap your hand over your mouth as your stomach twists into uneasy knots. You lock eyes with your captain and you feel your face go red hot.

Kensei's wide eyes don't leave yours and you gulp. You're glad that Kensei is usually calm and collected.

He lifts his head up from the paper and sets his pen down. He turns his head towards you and his eyes have a tired gleam over them.

"What's wrong?" Toshiro asks with a firm voice.

"Nothing," you mumble out. Toshiro shifts his weight and shoots you a glance.

"Tell me," Toshiro demands with a harsh tone and you roll your eyes with annoyance.

"I have an important dinner with my boyfriend," you explain and you feel Toshiro's gaze sharpen and darken.

"And you think that dinner with your boyfriend is more important than your duties?" Toshiro asks, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Of course not, but come on! I'll do anything for you! I'll cook, clean, hell I'll even suck your d-"

Toshiro's breath hitches in his throat and your jaw drops open to the ground.

You can't believe you just said that...out loud.

"Do you really think that's appropriate to say to your captain?" Toshiro scoffs out, raising his eyebrows. Toshiro's snow white hair covers the tips of his ears turning bright red and burning.

"No, Captain Hitsugaya," you mumble out, lowering your head with shame.

"Geez, what an embarrassment. Go home, y/n and have dinner with your boyfriend if you're that desperate," Toshiro scoffs out, hiding back a smile.

You glance over at him and nod your head, mumbling a soft sorry before bolting out the door.

Isshin: You and Isshin steal glances over at each other from across the room. You've been arguing about him letting you go home early and he won't budge.

"Oh, come on, Isshin! I'll do anything for you. I'll cook for you, I'll clean up everything, I'll even suck your di-"

The color from Isshin's face floods away and his cheeks turn bright red. His breath hitches in his throat as he slowly turns his head to you.

You're awaiting for his reaction, expecting a bad one. Isshin starts to burst out laughing and you knit your eyebrows together. He slowly walks up to you and pats your shoulder.

Your body rattles and his laughter rings in your eardrums. "Of course, you can go home early!" Isshin chuckles out and your eyes widen.

You waste no time in leaving Isshin's office, sure to be ashamed of your words tomorrow and everyday until your death.

Gin: You and Gin are relishing in the silence in your shared office.

"Hey, I'm going to head out. I have some dinner plans," you explain and Gin lifts his head up from the pile of papers.

"Ah, I don't think so," Gin speaks up, that stupid sly grin still across his pale face. You scoff quietly and pout, pushing your bottom lip.

"Why not?" you whine out, huffing and puffing.

"I need you for 10 more minutes. You can do 10 more minutes, right?" Gin asks, towering above you.

"No, I really can't! Come on, Gin! I'll do anything for you. What do you want? I'll make you cookies, bring you sake, or I'll even suck your di-"

It's like Gin doesn't even react to the words that just came out of your mouth, he just stands there and stares at you. Your heart is slamming against your chest and you just wish Gin would stop staring a goddamn hole through your head.

"Well, since you're offering," Gin shrugs his shoulders, that stupid sly smile across his pale face. Your eyes widen in awe as Gin's hand slowly reaches into his uniform and down into his boxers.

You quickly spin around on your feet and bury your flustered face into the palm of your hands.

"I'm kidding. Go home," Gin chuckles out, shaking his head with disbelief. His narrow eyes watch as you rush out of the office, refusing to make eye contact with him.

I was going to make it into pure married life, but I really wanted to include how the whole proposal and wedding happened. So yay for freebies ^^

Being Gintoki's Wife Headcanons

Warning: slight nsfw towards the end.

Congratulations, you married the protagonist of the anime. That's the equivalent of hitting the jackpot, except you wouldn't be so broke after guessing the winning numbers to the lottery. Hey, no one said that being Yorozuya Gin's wife wouldn't have its disadvantages!

Proposal

The way he proposed to you was... quite interesting. He was a nervous mess and tried to calm down by going down the booze route, which led to him being both inebriated and awkward. You'd been dating for quite a while and he was certain that he could finally tie the knot with you (Thank Kagura, Shinpachi and Otose for pushing him to it). With you he felt comfortable to be who he is, knowing that you loved him despite his flaws. He was always at home whenever you were around, though actually proposing was nerve wracking.

If he was left alone to do it, perhaps he'd just toss you a ring and leave it at that. But, because communism exists, his marital business is Yorozuya's marital business and they'd sit him down and explain that unless he tries to at least be a bit romantic, you'd be disappointed. In reality, Kagura said that you'd leave with another man if you did that, a fact that managed to get him all stressed up in the first place.

And so, Gin really did his best planning a memorable proposal. He took you out to a fancy restaurant, wore his *rented* tuxedo, bought a ring worth of 10 rents which he placed into the champagne glass (courtesy of Otae). It was the perfect night! Or... so it was, until he started chugging glass after glass, eventually forgetting that a ring was placed in one of them and... yes. He swallowed the ring.

I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't noticed and went along with his proposal, voicing the little speech he had prepared with the guys the previous night, though be it half slurring and messing up halfway. It was a wonder you said yes, but it was a bigger wonder that he had managed to swallow a wedding ring without even being aware of it. Of course, that was something he kept hidden from you, and will probably keep it hidden even until after your children have children of their own. It's embarrassing, don't blame him!

At the end, he admitted leaving it at home, a far less shameful option. You parted ways and no one really asked why he spent the next 6-8 hours in the bathroom. The next day, you had a gorgeous shining ring around your finger, and an exhausted Gintoki by your side.

The wedding

Most likely Gintoki wished for a simple ceremony with those closest to you. Mainly because it would cost less but also because he isn’t one for extravagant parties. A wedding is a union and while he never hid your relationship, he’d be a bit flustered about saying such important words in public.

He did tell Kagura and Shinpachi, as those closest to him. And of course, Shinpachi told Otae, who told Kyuubei and then the entire Yagyuu clan had to pay their respects. Perhaps Gin also let Katsura know, not actually expecting him to show up, though he did and so did the Shinshengumi. At the end of the day, the entire cast was standing before you, some arguing and throwing bombs at one another, while others were too busy stuffing food in bento boxes. The quiet wedding you dreamt off turned into a bit of a fiasco, but everyone enjoyed themselves and so did you and Gin.

Honeymoon Period

I doubt that Gin could afford a proper honeymoon vacation, but perhaps Otose chimed in a bit, giving him enough money to take you somewhere decent as a wedding gift. Don’t think Hawaii or Paris or anything, but he did take you to an idyllic little fishing village or to a lovely mountain settlement.

The time you spent there was quiet and peaceful, unlike your everyday life in the city. It was a welcoming change and for once, you found yourself wishing that it would last more than a few days. Before you knew it, vacation time was over and you were back at Kabukicho.

Married Life

During the first few months, Gintoki would probably put on his good face. He'd be sweeter than usually to you, even going as far as to plan "romantic pizza nights in front of the tv" with candles all around. That would be his basic idea for a date night, but don't worry, he'll keep it up in the future too, minus the candles.

Another type of date time would probably be board game nights, either with just the two of you or his friends. If you end up winning too much, I wouldn't be surprised if Gin decided to flip the table or go as far as to cheat. If you catch onto him and scold him about his behavior, then he'd try to use other means to "win" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) He is shameless, after all.

Surprisingly enough, Gin isn't bad at doing chores, though he does complain about it. Considering the nature of his job, it's not too uncommon for him to have days off, and so, if you are the one with a more stable 9 to 5 kinda job, he doesn't mind taking over the housework. Mostly to keep cockroaches at bay ;-;

If he is the only one to do chores, he'll start nagging about how you married him just to turn him into a housewife. Bribing him with something tasty, whether that is food or you, is bound to make him forget about it, for the time at least.

Speaking of food, a fun activity Gin would enjoy, is cooking with you. He mostly enjoys eating whatever it is that you make for him (supposing it's not burnt tamagoyaki or rice with egg on a daily basis), but if you suggest making something together, he'll find it just as fun and exciting. He doesn't always follow the recipes and a lot of the time he ends up slacking off, tossing ingredients such as flour on your bare face just to get a laugh out of it. In no time, such a notion would lead to an all out kitchen war. Just make sure that he cleans the mess afterwards, considering it's his fault.

Despite Gin picking up on chores, he can be very messy, turning your house into a dorm. Half finished ramen, jump magazines scattered around, tissues and cans, he leaves disaster in his trail. He will clean when he realizes you need a boat to pass through each room, or, if you order him to.

Perhaps at one point, you both tried to better yourself and engage into some more sophisticated hobbies, such as wine tasting or museum touring. Every couple gets to a point when they look at other couples and wonder if they are doing things wrong. But neither expensive wines or impressionism did it for you, and so you went back to your old habits in no time. It's better when you don't have to pretend around each other.

After a quick detour, back to Gin's messiness we go. He is the type to spend an awful long time in the bathroom, not because he is doing anything weird, but because he takes his jump with him. He can sit on the toilet for hours on end, not even realizing how long it's been.

Whenever he showers or baths, you will definitely know because of the endless stream of water and hot steam following after him. It looks as if someone copy-pasted Venice in your house and Gin isn't apologetic in the slightest over it. The main cause of it, is because he refuses to dry himself up, choosing to wander around the rooms with just a towel. Now if you scold him, he has no issue jumping on top of you with the sole intention of drying his body against your clothes.

Naturally, it doesn't take long for things to get heated, and I can definitely imagine him smirking while saying "Now I'm not the only one who's wet". Shameless, I told you. Besides, he is also the one who jumps into the shower with you if he is in a hurry, without even bothering to ask if it's fine.

Gin isn't against self care. He doesn't admit it, but in order to keep his hair tamable, he uses A LOT of products. Could have an entire shelve dedicated to hair products only, no surprises here. He might tease you if he sees you using a face mask sheet, though if you offer him one, he'll allow you to pamper him, asking you to check how soft his skin is 24/7.

A nice thing Gin does from time to time, is massages. If you come back tired from work, he'll have no issue rubbing your feet, your shoulders, and anywhere else you need him to *wink wink*. Again he'll bring up the "housewife" argument, but he is more than happy to take care of you.

On the contrary, a nasty thing Gin most definitely does, is start calling you old hag. Even changes your contact name to that and acts as if you are some old lady, despite being of similar age to him. Don't, just... don't ask.

Generally, you don't argue a lot and your fights consist of really petty and childish arguments, such as who gets to watch what on the tv. Usually it ends with him sitting on the remote to prevent you from touching it. Or, on cold winter nights, he ends up hoarding the blanket, leaving you to shiver alone while playing tug war with his sleepy self.

At times, Gin experiences severe nightmares about his past. It's something he can't let go off completely, and although he chooses to ignore it in his daily life, he can't control his subconscious. There isn't much for you to do, as he won't be willing to talk about it. However, wrapping your arms around him, assuring him that it's fine, that you are there and that he did his best, will definitely help.

His sex drive does die a bit after you get married, but it's not much of an issue. If you initiate things, he'll almost always be up for it, and he definitely has his "hornball" moments. If you are doing the dishes, he'll be doing you. If you are in it for a relaxing bath time, he'll have you sit between his legs. If he sees you all dressed up for a work event or an outing with a friend, he'll most likely undress you first.

Randomly slaps your butt from time to time whenever you pass before him. If you scold him, he chuckles while giving you the look to know that if you are up for it, he is also up for it. Lots of heated times on the couch, considering he is sometimes too lazy to move things to the bedroom.

Finally, kids is not something in his immediate plans. In fact, he'll try to postpone such talks until you enter the second year of marriage, if not more. He'll always go "La la la la la" at the mention of such things, but if you sit him down and ask him to have a family, he'll groan and take you to bed right away. After all, how can he say no to you?

🩰 Every time his s/o makes some type of “kinky” commentary, every word reverberates inside of him hitting against “the barriers” he voluntarily choses to build. His frown gets even more serious, but his lips separate with warm air passing through them. He is glad his pants are that flowy, or else his hardness might start showing.

He stops pushing you against the desk, slowly helping you to stand up. Lovingly turning you around, kissing your lips so carefully.

“I know you are the purest flower of my garden… you pushed my limits, I should have behaved, and for that I’m sorry” he mumbles, planting a kiss on your forehead.

“No, Byakuya-sama. Please take me, show me, enlighten me, and punish me”

🦢 Gin is not as patient as Byakuya. He won’t let you mess with him for too long, because he will definitely take advantage of your attitude. He knows very well, as wise as he can be, your true nature. You can’t fool him. Gin is not an innocent man.

🦢 He discovered that you were inexperienced way before you could even realize. All this time, he has only been playing dumb.

🦢 He in fact, will try to push your limits even further, even to the point where you could be publicly exposed for such “indecency”. Some sort of humiliating game that really, really gets him hard and drippy.

🦢 During one of those weekend gatherings, where captains, vicecaptains and soldiers get together to have some sake fill their veins, Gin pulled you closer to him. He remembers every word you said before coming, all the things you joke you wanted to do in the bathroom.

His long fingers, cold and bony, curled around your waist. He kept pulling you towards him, to the point you finally sit on his lap.

His nose, also cold, buried in the crook of your neck with him inhaling your scent. His closed eyes, were shut tight. His lips, planted a sweet kiss on your skin. Before the eyes of everyone there, a depiction of lustful immorality was about to be shown.

“Since you are such a degenerate, why don’t we show them all, all the things you want to do to me?” he asks, very low, in your ear. His hand, snaking down your pants, relying only on the table to cover it up.

“Gin… I- I swear, I don’t- I didn’t mean it” you desperately try to whisper back, this is not the place… nor anywhere else for that matter.

He laughed. He laughed at you.

“I know, I know.. I was just joking. I know you are not exactly what you seem to be. Look at you, all worked up! How fun!”

— how i think some of the bsd characters act after they realize they’re in love

Pretty much acts the exact same way, however they linger more often, whether they mean too or not. That can be in regards to their actions or simply with how long they look in your direction.

— Atsushi Nakajima, Edgar Allan Poe, Gin Akutagawa, Ranpo Edogawa, Saigiku Jōno, Sigma

Confident about it. They don’t necessarily care if you know how they feel or not even though they’re more than likely not going to tell you that out loud yet. They up their actions and teasing (if they do something like that) so people will know how they feel and hopefully back off. So long as you’re comfortable with it, of course.

Pretty sweet. They may not act that way all the time, especially around others but when you’re alone or with very few people, they have such an obvious sweet spot for you that would sell them out in seconds. They’re always going out of their way for you and if you’re lucky enough, you can see how much they adore you when they meet your eyes.

Relatively mean about it? They don’t really know how to feel with the realization and they hope that if they’re mean to you and pushing you away, they’ll stop thinking about you and it’d make them feel better. It doesn’t work, of course, and as they warm up to you and the idea of being with you, they can be sweet. You just need to be patient with them as it’d be worth it.

Absolutely convinced they’re not in love and it’s just in their head. Sure they like spending time with you and you are normally the reason why they have a smile on their face but that doesn’t mean anything… right? WRONG. They’re so in love and the more their friends tease them for how they act around you or with how painfully obvious they are when they look at you, they know they’re screwed and it’s not in their head.
