to face unafraid, the plans that we've made

Gyro and Fenton decide to head home together, and are greeted with the first snow of the season.

The lab is quiet. Manny went home hours ago, and Boyd and Huey took Lil Bulb back to the mansion for some kind of sleepover. That was… four hours ago? Five? Gyro’s been too wrapped up in his latest project to pay much attention to the clock. If he just adjusts this dial, and attaches the wiring to the panels just right, it might work better than last time. And Fenton’s part should be finished tomorrow, so they can start beta tests on this version, so–

“It’s, um, it’s getting late, is all,” Fenton stumbles through his sentences. “I guess–I, um, I just think you should get some rest too. And now would be a good time! I–I mean, if you want to, that is, I–yeah. Sleep?”

Gyro looks up from the gizmo he’s been tinkering with, catching a glimpse of a fading blush on Fenton’s cheek feathers. He hadn’t been listening, but the sight gives him butterflies–why, he doesn’t know, they’ve been together for a few months now–and he puts down his work. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t want to go home and get some rest now, anyway. They’ve had a lot of late nights in the lab lately, one too many projects in progress, and he knows they’ll both do better work when they’re well-rested, anyway.

“That sounds great, Doctor,” he replies, watching that blush blossom across Fenton’s face again. He’s usually not one to tease, at least not so affectionately, but Fenton’s a sweetheart, and he loves to see him flustered. “Maybe I’ll buy us something to eat, on the way.”

“Oh! I, um, yeah. I–yes! Food sounds great!” Fenton smiles like sunshine, lighting up the lab as he turns to leave. “I’ll, uh, I’ll get our coats!”

Gyro watches him go with a smile of his own. Sometimes it feels like they’re still learning how to be in love. He definitely is. But Fenton… he’s easy to love, with his nervous kindness and drive to help everyone he can and excitement for new, unknown experiences–Gyro really doesn’t know how he ever found Fenton annoying before. His boyfriend is everything he’s ever wanted.

When he returns, Fenton’s bundled up in a scarf M’ma insisted he wear and a pair of mittens gifted to him by a grateful citizen, and carrying Gyro’s coat. Ever the chivalrous gentleman, he helps Gyro into his own coat and scarf, and leads the way to the elevator so he can open the doors for them.

Gyro shuts off the lights, each bank of bright white lights turning inky black with a click. Then, he takes Fenton’s hand, and they head for the surface together.

The ground floor is quiet, a single row of lights left on when everyone else went home. Gyro’s used to leaving this late, if he leaves at all—usually he’d end up taking a quick nap in the lab or stay up until dawn without realizing it—but Fenton squeezes his hand nervously. Gyro draws circles with his thumb on the back of Fenton’s hand reassuringly, taking the lead toward the lobby.

The front doors are giant, with equally large windows looking out at the empty parking lot. The sky is gloomy and dark, even for this late hour, and as they approach the exit, it becomes obvious that it’s started to snow. The big windows reveal small snowflakes drifting down to the pavement in a silent, sparkling dance.

“It’s snowing!” Fenton chirps excitedly, pushing open one of the doors. “Gyro, look!”

“It sure is,” he agrees, pulling the collar of his coat up as if to hide from the snowflakes. “First of the season.”

“Yeah!” His partner looks to the sky with wide, wonder-filled eyes, then spins around slowly as he looks up. “It’s beautiful! I hope it sticks, we could wake up tomorrow to a winter wonderland!”

“Yeah, beautiful,” Gyro agrees. But he isn’t looking at the snow—he’s focused on Fenton’s hair, snowflakes clinging to it like glitter. Focused on his boyfriend’s bright eyes and wide smile, and his delight over something as small as the wintery weather. Fenton’s enchanted by the snow, and Gyro… well, he’s enchanted by Fenton.

Science can explain many things, Gyro thinks, watching him twirl a slow circle under a yellow parking lot light. Science can explain the way that light glows, and why the snow is falling slowly and softly, and science can even explain why his heart begins to race, watching Fenton pause and turn to look back at him. It takes Gyro’s breath away, looking at the way he’s standing, with a glowing yellow halo behind him and sparkly snowflakes clinging to his shoulders.

Science can do plenty, but this doesn’t feel scientific at all. Leaning in for a kiss, bathed in golden light and silent snow, it feels… magical, instead. Fenton’s warm hand caresses Gyro’s cold cheek feathers, and the world beyond this quiet, empty parking lot seems to fade away around them. Gyro closes his eyes, leaning into the warm embrace and pulling Fenton a little closer.

This moment is not science, but magic, and Gyro wants to remember this feeling forever.

Superhero Ducks - Ducktales 2017 - Ducktales AU

Yes, I'm late, but I dedicated this drawing to my follower, whose birthday was last week, and I did it on the theme of superheroes, that is, Justice Ducks, but in the Ducktales reboot way.

Yes, even though I prefer superheroes from comics, OG Ducktales, Darkwing Duck and others, I still tried it out to see how it would look in Ducktales 2017, but I drew it my way, in my style. I drew Duck Avenger (Paperinik), She Venger (Super Daisy-Paperinika), Darkwing Duck (Drake Mallard), Gizmoduck, Masked Top Hat (Scrooge McDuck), Clover Leaf (Gladstone Gander), Red Bat (Fethry Duck) and of course Launchpad McQuack who is not in a superhero suit. I also added Della Duck as Aviator or Rocketquack, Webby Vanderquack as Pink Vanderquack, Lena De Spell (Sabrewing) as Raven, Gosalyn Mallard as Quiverwing Quack, Huey as Huebot (Red Gizmoduck), Dewey as Blue Darkwing, Louie as Paperinik Junior and Gandra Dee as Gizmo-Gandra.

I hope you like this drawing and yes I drew based on the design by @lara-prism-light and @boingodigitalart, to whom I am grateful for such designs and such ideas. And I added some ideas of my own. Of course, this gift goes to @alexcanine, whose birthday was last week, and I wish you all the best and I hope you like this gift. Happy late birthday! And just one piece of advice, please learn to draw properly. Overall, I hope you like this.

I feel like this would be an interesting contrast of personalities…Fenton and Violet?

Well look at you picking two of your favorite blorbos thinking they'd make for an interesting duo, well you're right! I would have loved to see these two together! It would have made for some great comedic moments cause of their personalities. Probably would've made for a great B story in an episode. (They would not get the A story, sorry.)

The sound of a visitor entering the lab caught the attention of Fenton as he stepped away from his work to greet the young sabrewing.

"Well hello!" Fenton happily greeted. "Welcome to the laboratory of McDuck Enterprises. I assume you're looking for Huey since he normally hangs around here, but I believe he is out with his family in Peru today."

"Hello." Violet greeted back. "Actually I'm here because of a school assignment where I must interview someone in the field of science."

"Oh. Well how exciting! But I'm afraid that Dr. Gearloose is also gone for the day, his assistance was needed for the McDuck's adventure in Peru but I thin-"

"I really do not see the point in waiting when you are here, Mr. Crackshell-Cabrera." Violet interrupted with her pen and notepad in hand. "You are a scientist after all, right?"

"Well yes! Of course but wouldn't you want to wait for an adult?"

Fenton stared back at the staring sabrewing who looked at Fenton right in the eye and said nothing, for she did not want to come off as rude or condescending to the scientist.

Fenton was used to receiving blank silent stares and he knew exactly what Violet was thinking based on the look she was giving him.

"Oh...right. Well... how about I show you around?! A quick tour and then you can ask questions."

"Sounds like a good plan." Violet responded as she followed Fenton around the lab.

[about 7-10 minutes of comedic buildup later...]

The two birds ran and hid inside Fenton's office as the Gizmoduck armor ran amok throughout the lab without anyone occupying it.

"Well this is not good." Violet stated as she and Fenton pushed against the door.

"No it is not!" Fenton panicked. "The Gizmoduck armor has a mind of its own and is destroying the lab! Oh it is going to take forever to mop up all that lemon meringue!"

"Well surely there must be a way to stop it."

Fenton rushed to his computer and went on to try to shut off the Gizmoduck armor from there, but his access was blocked.

"Shoot!" Fenton cursed under his breath so Violet wouldn't hear. "The armor is blocking my access."

"Oh no, well that does not sound good."

"It is not!"

"...Well, surely its battery life is not infinite."

"Right! It's still just a machine! And right now, it's at...87%..."

"Oh. Well perhaps we should get something to defend ourselves with." Violet stated as she pulled out a wooden stake.

"...Why do you have that?!"

"Our adventure group STILL has yet to cross any vampires and I wanna be well prepared." Violet answered as she showed off the garlic she had hidden around her neck.

"Huh...and here I thought you had garlic bread for lunch."

"A peanut butter sandwich, actually."

"Ooh, yummy."

"It was. But I'm sorry for getting us in this mess, Mr. Crackshell-Cabrera."

"Hey," Fenton began as he went over to Violet, "I'm the one who is sorry! I should have been thinking more clearly. I'm the adult here, I shouldn't have tried to impress you. I should have been better prepared for an incident like this. At least you have something on you."

"Well it's not like a wooden stake or garlic would do us any good here."

"..." A lightbulb went off in Fenton's head. "Maybe they might..."

The Gizmoduck armor was still going erratic around the lab as it rolled from end to the other throwing pies wherever it pleases

"HEY!!"

The armor stopped in its place and spotted Fenton who now had the garlic around his neck.

"Uh...why don't you try to stop me...Gizmo Armor?"

That was all the convincing the Gizmoduck armor needed to go after Fenton who then started to run. As the suit of armor chased Fenton, the scientist then threw the garlic off his neck and onto the wheels of the Gizmoduck armor causing the machine to fall flat on its face.

"Violet! Now!"

Violet then jumped from her hiding spot and stabbed the Gizmoduck armor in its power supply!

"YES!!" Fenton celebrated. "A direct hit!"

The Gizmoduck armor then short circutied and powered off as the two birds stepped back from it.

"...Will it be okay?" Violet inquired.

"Oh sure! This'll be an easy fix!" Fenton assured as a light fell down from the ceiling. "...I'm just going to have to clean up the lab first."

"Would you like some help, Mr. Crackshell-Cabrera."

"Yes please, and please, call me Fenton."

Violet smiled and nodded at Fenton.

"You know..." Fenton began. "I gotta say I am impressed with how calm you were during all this."

"It may have looked like that, but I assure you on the inside I am freaking out."

"Oh...you wanna grab a soda before we clean up?"

"That would be nice!" Violet stated.

The start of a new adventure

"The sounds of machinery and electricity running can be heard from McDuck Labs.

Most would think this was just another of Dr. Gearloose’s inventions, but they'd be wrong inside the lab.

Three figures could be seen as they are hard at work on the very machine itself.

Dr. Gear loose was running diagnostics on the software of the machine, Dr. Crackshell-Cabrera was handling the programming and was on stand-by with the gizmo duck armor in case of any problems with the machine while their latest intern, 18 yr old Huey Duck was keeping record of the first testing.

Nearby Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Dewey Duck, and Gosalyn Waddlemeyer can be seen just nearby, but wait, why are they there, you ask? Well, the machine in question is none other than the ramrod itself' the very machine that almost folded the fabric of existence itself the very same one that brought Professor Waddlemeyer to an unknown universe.

Today they are beginning the testing phase of the ramrod after 7 years since its initial deactivation.As the scientists continued their work, Gosalyn looked unsure of the situation, she was excited that they could finally find her grandfather but was worried about what might have happened to him.

Unknown to Gosalyn Dewey noticed her worry.“Hey Gos you feeling okay” Dewey saysShe looks at him, realizing she had been too quiet.“Yeah just thinking” Gosalyn told him.Dewey looked at her. After 7 years of being her friend, he knew when something was bothering her.

"Gos are you worried something might happen". Dewey said.

Gosalyn looked at him kinda shocked he knew what she was worried about but realized she couldnt lie to him since he knew her too well.

"Its just that its been 7 years since it happened it just makes me wonder what happened to him" Gosalyn said.

Dewey saw the distraught in her eyes and the worry on her face as she said that.

"Gos everything is gonna be fine if your grandpa is every bit as amazing as you said he is than I just know he'd do anything to get back to you" Dewey said"I know that its just getting harder to hold on for hope after this long I really want to believe he's still out there but its just getting harder to do" Gosalyn said"Gos i know its hard searching for someone that might be gone just hold on hope we can Dewey this" Dewey said with a smile.Gosalyn just rolled her eyes at the pun but smiled at his words.Gosalyn and Dewey walked towards Gyro to check if testing is done.

"Hey Bowtie is it almost ready?" Gosalyn said as she approached him.

"Just finishing the last of the procedures and we’ll be good to go ponytail" Gyro had said under a secrion of the machine.

"So uh not to sound dumb or anything but how does it exactly work" Drake said.

"Unlike the first version of the ramrod this will be a gateway to other dimensions instead of punching holes into them once the testing phase is complete we can help Gosalyn find her grandfather" Huey said.

"I think that should do it what do you think doctor Gearloose" Fenton said after adjusting the coding.

"Hmm it seems fine though have red intern have a look at it Dr intern" Gyro said.

Fenton called Huey over to check it out. Huey double checked the coding and it seemed to be fine with nothing out of the ordinary about it and it seemed to be fine.

"It seems fine to me and the safety precautions have all been handled so I think we can start testing what do you think doctor Gearloose? " Huey said.

"Well everything seems to be in order so I think we can start" Gyro said while double checking the everything one last time.

"Alright than everyone stand on the other side of the yellow line were about to begin testing" Gyro said while starting the machine.

Ducktales s/i redesign! Woo!!

Meet Ellie Cooper, an aspiring comic artist and a childhood friend of Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera. She loves superheros, the spooky stuff, and Launchpad Mcquack

Rambles below the cut as per usual! It's also long, as per usual-

Look I thought about her a lot and never shared it okay 😭

She's introduced when Fenton, Launchpad, Huey, Dewy, and Louie attend a convention (think like comic con). Launchpad heard about a Darkwing Duck booth, Fenton's just a nerd, and the boys are more interested in the comics. Dewey wants to see all the action and comedy ones, Huey wants to see the mysterious and serious ones, and Louie doesn't want to be there. While Huey and Dewey are arguing about which genre is better, Louie gets bired and leaves the group. Then while Launchpad and Fenton are distracted, the duo run off to find their triplet.

While Louie was walking about, he found Ellie's comic booth, kind of barren compared to the other stands and booths. She was sitting there, asleep on the table portion. He gives her stand a small knock, which startles her awake, but she quickly recovers and greets him. Realizing he's a kid all alone, she immediately starts to distract him with her drawings and stories, waiting for a parent or someone to come by. Instead, Huey and Dewey do, also alone and without adults. She offers to draw them as superheros as another distraction.

Finally, after the two adults realize the kids are missing, search around and find them. When Ellie and Fenton see each other, they immediately recognized each other and gave each other a tight hug, Ellie lightly punching his arm. Turns out, they were childhood friends! Both were sort of social outcasts, so they bonded over that. Unfortunately she had to move and they hadn't seen each other since. She's now in duckberg since her old city has crime rates going back up and she wanted to be safe. (There's a whole thing of her yearning to meet a hero like Gizmo duck and Fenton debating on whether or not he should tell her, but that's moreso an episode script and isn't important lol)

She also makes an appearance in Darkwing Duck! (Assuming that show is still coming out and Launchpad is still a part of it.) Turns out, that was her old city, and she was there to visit family (it didn't go well to say the least.) She ends up joining them for some shenanigans sometimes, though there's only one important one for now.

Essentially, Launchpad is driving his limo, Gosalyn in the back with D.D. has he's sorta hurt and Ellie up front. They're being chased by a villain, the who isn't important. When Gosalyn says something, Launchpad climbs in the back to help best he can, making Ellie take a wheel. They're upcoming on a draw bridge, and it looks like it's slowly rising up. Even if they did the jump, they'd 100% percent crash on the other side. With no other choice however, that's just was Ellie does. She warns them all to brace themselves, they're gonna crash. They ride up the now ramp, and do the large jump. The front of the car hits the bridge as it's rising up, causing it to flip over and over as the car essentially rolled to the other side.

In the wreckage, everyone's mostly just bruised, which is lucky for Darkwing. As Ellie brushes bits off her dress and takes off her jacket to brush more junk off, Launchpad has a moment. Pink background, glitter, dreamy music, it's love vision. He, more suddenly nervous around her, comes up and compliments her on the crash, saying it done "like a professional." She giggles and thanks him, to which he nervously asks if she'd want to get coffee once they're back in Duckberg, and she accepts.

Ta-da! Two idiots have now crashed together and are in love

The Best Costume!

Today's the day!! It was Huey's Favorite Holiday! A day full of nothing but Family, Friends, Fun costumes, scares, staying up past your bedtime and of course endless and free candy!!! You guessed it! It's Halloweennn!!

The Red Nephew could not be more excited! He got on his home-made, hand crafted! Gizmo Duck costume and raced to his brothers to show them his costume and his trick or treat plan for tonight!

"This is it, one night, every house in town! And we'll score us enough to last us all year! Suit UP!" He announced as everyone got ready. Huey's face glowed as he got into character

"Blathering Blatherskite! I love Halloween! This is going to be the best Halloween Ever!!!" He fell over on the couch onto his back, flapping his arms with happy stims as the gang prepared for the most epic night ever!!

"Rawr! I am Baylord demon king of the evil eye!" Huey and Dewey tilted their heads at Webby until she explained the roots of Halloween and why her costume is significant they nodded before Dewey spoke

"I'm a pirate on vacation" The pair fist pumped as another voice entered the room

"There's nothing scary about tonight! Halloween is about candy and only candy! Forget the leg work I've got a plan that will make us candy billionaires!" The youngest smirked as he leaned against the doorframe

"And what's your costume supposed to be?" Huey asked before Louie put on one of Huey's hats and acted like him

"You are a lazy costumer and stop stretching my hat!" He ran over to try and take it off him before Louie pushed him back

"We have the same head!"

Huey sighed before smiling and assembling the team "Enough chit chat! Move out!" They all followed Huey as he spoke. And so the best Halloween ever had officially begun

"Okay! First stop, Rockerduck estate's for the big bars and the candy corn relay then! Down to Silverbeak for the Haunted Hayride Spooktacular and I've scheduled bathroom breaks so just hold it till' we get to Mrs Klopecks, Great bathroom, freshly tiled" He finishes before Louie interrupts him, stepping all over his plans

"Orrr we could ditch all of that, go to one place and get all the candy we could ever want!" He said with a smirk before Dewey chimed in

"We're going to a candy store?"

"What no it's night time candy stores are closed"

"WE'RE GONNA ROB A CANDY STORE?!" Dewey said this time with more excitement before Louie sighed again

"No, we're going to Hazel House...the most haunted house in all of Duckburg!"

Louie stepped inside after explaining the myth "we do this and we'll never have to trick or treat again! Free candy for life!!"

Everyone but Huey was excited

"I've never even heard of this place, why chase a phoney myth from a phoney Huey when we can go trick or treating"

"Woodchuck rule number sixty something go in that house now!" Louie yelled as everyone rushed in, Huey reluctantly following them

"So much for a perfect Halloween" He mumbled quietly to himself as they explored the creepiness that is 'Hazel House!' Everything was dark, old and abandoned. It was honestly everything you could think of if you ever pictured a true haunted house

It was a place Huey did not want to be, but there was no turning back now, the doors were locked and Louie was persistent on continuing forward.

"Go for it Dewey!" The middle child in blue gasped lighty before entering one of the rooms

"No screams so I think we're good!" Louie said as they entered. The rest of the night was filled with scare after scare until they reached the end of the house into the outside

"We did it! We completed the house! And with some time to spare we can make the butt end of the trick or treat trails!" Huey smiled as he pulled out his map

"Nuh uh no way! Where was the candy im going back in there!" He tried to go but he was stopped "Hault citizen! Let's forget about this half baked scheme and go get some candy!"

"Last time I checked we were a family of treasure seeking adventurers! Why stop now? Because this house isn't on your precious map! Well I'm putting it on there give it to me!" Louie ripped it out of Huey's hands before he was tackled to the ground as the wrestled for it until Webby and Dewey broke them up

"Wait a minute, you had it on your map the whole time!" Louie said as he spotted what Huey was hiding

"I did yes,,," Huey hung his head low before putting the map away

"You told us it was fake! You tried to get us to avoid it! What were you gonna do?! Horde all the candy for yourself!" Louie said angerly crossing his arms

"It's not like that I-" His speech was cut short when the monsters attacked again capturing the quad in twos!

"We have no candy!" Huey screamed out before everything came to a stop

"No candy? Are you kidding me!" They were put back down on the ground as one of the monsters spoke "It's midnight trick or treating is over and we waisted it all on these fools who don't even have any candy!"

It's over "I missed it..." Huey frowned before walking over to an empty stone wall, Louie not much later following after him taking a seat next to his oldest brother.

"So we made a mistake, at least we're still alive! And we met some monsters so that's pretty cool right?" Louie said trying to cheer him up but every word he said fell deaf to Huey's ears

"On the houseboat Halloween was our biggest adventure every year! We would suit up, face the unknown and sure it was just neighborhood trick or treating but it was ours"

"I was just trying to get an endless supply of candy,,, and thats the problem" Louie sighed as he looked at Huey

"I just didn't want this one to be our last Halloween"

Louie put an arm on his shoulder "Junior Woodchuck rule 99! Who cares about the candy! Let's go home and make it the best Halloween ever yeah?"

Huey smiled and nodded before they grabbed everyone else and went home.

While Dewey and Webby got the living room set up and ready for a movie night Louie went to talk to Huey in their room

"Hey, I'm really sorry about tonight.." Louie said rubbing the back of his neck

"It's okay Louie I'm not mad or upset with you" Huey smiled before patting a spot next to him and opening his arms for the youngest to rest in

Louie sighed in Hueys arms "I just wanted unlimited candy and I wasn't thinking"

"It's okay Louie I understand completely, I should have been more honest to begin with but I was just nervous and everyone was so excited to go in so"

Louie nodded before rolling his eyes "Let's promise to be more honest with each other from now on especially when it comes to our feelings"

Huey smiled and nodded "Deal, that was very smart of you Louie"

"Trade mark Louie Duuu- I mean! Junior Woodchuck rule number twelve "an honest soul never doubts his role"' The pair giggled before Louie spoke again

"You know your costume is okayyy, maybe second best but mine is number one!" The duck in green smirked before pushing Huey's mask over his face

Huey fumbled with it getting it up again before scoffing "You're just me Louie! All you did was put on a hat, my hat! I made this with my bare hands! Plus Gizmo Duck is the best so I definitely have the best costume, technically speaking!" He smirked before Louie smirked harder

"That's where your wrong Huebert! My costume is you, yes, buttt you failed to see passed its simplicity!"

Huey raised an eyebrow out of confusion before Louie evilly giggled

"I am you but which version of you am I hmm Huebert?" Louies smirk grew more as he straddled Hueys legs

"Gehet off of me, I don't know, the Duke of making a mess maybe?" He guessed pushing at Louie

"Great guess but nope immm,,," he leaned closer to whisper in Hueys ear "Tickle Monster Huey"

The Red Nephews eyes widened before he bursted out into giggles as Louie squeezed up and down the length of his sides under his cardboard costume

"Lohohouiee!" Huey tried pushing lightly at his hands as he shut his eyes

"Who's Louie? My names Huey and I'm Louies personal tickle monster" Louie imitated what Huey always says to him as he moved to his stomach

Huey threw his head back onto the pillow before kicking out his legs letting himself laugh

"StAhAHAp IhiHiT! GIhiIzMO DuHuHuck Has Noho! WeHeakNesseS!" He played along as Louies smirk grew

"He seems very ticklish to me" he blew a raspberry into Huey's neck as his helmet fell off Louie gasped jokingly "Another Huey?! Well no wonder Gizmo Duck is so ticklish he's another me! And if that's the case I know exactly the place that will get you laughing the most!"

"Wahahait Louie pleasEEEE- AHAHAHAHA!" Huey's arms flapped around happily as Louie scribbled behind his knees

"Such delicious laughter, now this beats any candy in the world! Tickle Tickle Tickleee~" The youngest squeezed his knees some more as Huey's face turned a light pink

"MEHEHERCY PLEAHAHAHASE!"

Louie stopped, rubbing away the ghost tickles and getting off of him

"I told you I have the best costume" Louie smirked before Huey giggled catching his breath

"Yeheah yeah whatever you say Louie"

"It's true because its based off of the best brother in the whole wide world" Louie smiled before he was tackled in a hug from Huey

"Thank you Louie, for everything"

"Anytime big bro, Anytime"

The sweet moment was soon interrupted by a voice calling out for them

"You two ready? We've got everything set up for the most epic Halloween night ever!!" Dewey smiled at them from the doorway as he spoke

Huey smirked at the youngest before getting up and running "Race you there!"

"Ughh effort!" Louie complained as he got up and started walking towards the living room

'Yep! Best Halloween Ever!!' Huey thought as he shoved a snickers bar in his mouth, wrapped up in a cozy blanket, surrounded by the people he loves the most.

I was curious if the future Hero Team (Gosayln, Huey, and Clara) each have their own villain just like Drake's Darkwing, Fenton's Gizmo, and Donald's Duck Avenger?

They do, they definitely do.

Huey's Gizmoduck villain is Big Time Beagle.

Clara's Avenging Angel villain is this guy who calls himself The Alchemist and causes chaos with potions all over the place.

And Gosalyn's Darkwing Duck villain is, to everyone's surprise but also exasperation, Doofus Drake who did finally snap and go full evil supervillain on the world. Alaska didn't rehabilitate him. It just made him stronger...

Creation info:

The Team Rocket faction in the Aunura region created 76 Mewtwo, with the DNA and data left over from Newtwo's escape.

The 76 Mewtwo we're created by flooding a host's body with Newtwo's DNA.

A Host/Vessel had to be very young, and Psychically gifted: Either a Psychic Pokemon with full IV, or a human child of strong Psychic type trainer parents.

The steel plates on the back of her head and upper-back are unique to her: The bottom plate has a mixture of Dread plate and Dusk stone. When introduced to her bloodstream it forces the Mewtwo DNA to almost nullify completely. leaving her with a human guise. Within the top plate, the dust of a Mind plate can be drawn upon once her 'medicine' runs out. to help with reinstating her true Mewtwo forme.

Fun Facts:

Okita loves listening to electronic music on the lowest setting (she has good hearing, like most Mewtwos).

TC was one of the first Mewtwo artists/bloggers I came across, I fell in love with their rollercoaster series, and brilliant art very quickly after trying to find out more about Newtwo. Newt from the anime (and their story) was and still is so amazing to me! such a different characteristic to her Brother. I can't thank them and other Tumblr blogs I've discovered enough for my first creative spark!

I still can't shake all my nerves about making Fanart, but I loved making this so much! Now I want to draw my OC in a GLaDOS costume for Halloween because she loves robots xD

…and I just finished Ducktales! Here are some semi-random notes on episodes roughly in order:

1. Okay, i’ll admit I am a little sick of kids’ shows always feeling obliged to stick a Real Santa in, but Ducktales did it perfectly. Super appreciate that they even made Santa a contemporary of Scrooge, because what could be more fitting or accurate?

2. The last Fenton episode was great, poor tiny anxious Huey. And Fenton was not faring much better but at least he had a girlfriend to show for it. Also, Mark Beaks acting like a stalker with a crush towards Gizmoduck, which is peak Beaks right there. And I loooove that Huey brought in Louie to lie for him, and didn’t even think to tell him about Fenton! Lol Dewey knew because he was right there when Gizmoduck debuted, Huey figured it out quickly when Gizmoduck was in front of him fighting crime, and Louie never even had a scene with Fenton or Gizmoduck until that moment did he? L O L.

3. I am still a little bit salty that the Talespin episode didn’t even mention Launchpad, but i get why now, it was all about following in the footsteps of the mentors and there really wasn’t room for Launchpad. I will just politely headcanon that Stunt Pilot Molly Cunningham is friendly rivals with Launchpad’s sister. And maybe that Della got home and promptly told Launchpad he is no longer the worst pilot she’s ever met.

4. I’m impressed how many flashbacks they crammed into The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck! And also, Poe! I don’t think even 1987 Ducktales ever gave us Person Poe. Aw how cool. I feel pretty bad for Magica with that story. Scrooge really was a bit of a dick to her, and I’m glad that’s the one he owned up and took responsibility for. As an Animorphs fan, you really do not want to accidentally lose a loved one in bird form. Birds have short short lives.

5. THE FINALE.

A. Definitely felt like we suddenly hit fast forward and had to cram a ton in at crazy speeds, but Ducktales pulled it off!

B. I cannot BELIEVE they crammed a gargoyles reference in there too, Frank Angones you madman. With the addition of Keith David this truly was the correct thing to watch after I finished Community s6. It was practically the same cast!

C. Impeccable division of teams, so that everybody went up against the appropriate villain, teams were logical, and banter was beautiful

D. DARKWING AND GIZMODUCK AND LAUNCHPAD. OMG. I still would like to have approximately twelve seasons worth of bantering between Darkwing and Gizmoduck, and Fenton and Drake, and all combinations in between. Launchpad is everybody’s sidekick, EXCEPT WHEN HE PUTS ON THE GIZMO SUIT AND GETS TO SHINE. AWWWW LAUNCHPAD.

E. Okay I’m going to ramble about Launchpad some more for just a minute here. First, Launchpad’s subconscious has been struggling to tell everyone this intel the whole time??? And without his double-o mission they would have been stuck at square one?!? HOORAY LAUNCHPAD HELPED! Also, who is the first character to say “isn’t family the greatest adventure of all?” or most of it at least, that’s right, Launchpad! He is the HEART and I love him and I am very proud of him.

F. Back to Fenton and Drake, I am now going to assume that both of my suggested scenarios happened. Fenton had a long day and said something like “ugh, don’t even talk to me about Gizmoduck!”, then Drake took that as his cue to start griping about Gizmoduck, and Fenton just awkwardly agreed to be polite at first, and Drake was like “haha, yes! He clearly hates Gizmoduck too! My new buddy!” Also, I find it hilarious that Darkwing refuses to consider the possibility that Fenton is Gizmoduck, possibly because he likes Fenton too much? Which is great. I loved the classic versions getting on each other’s nerves every which way in Tiff of the Titans, but this is an extremely lovable dynamic as well. Especially that Fenton got frustrated enough to try to just tell him. These guys are terrible at secret identities, and yet still Fenton somehow managed to have one from Drake, and from Louie. Somehow.

G. Hooray, I finally know the thing about Webby properly! And yes, there was a TON of foreshadowing and themes about nature vs nurture all over the place throughout this show, omg! Especially as other clones we have seen on the show were (usually?) exact duplicates, while there is no question that Webby is fully her own person, despite having clear streaks of Scrooge in her. Which, to be fair, also could have just come from growing up around him! I wish there was more time to get to know May and June, and I love the way Beakley just kinda… bluescreened and went off on her own over Webby.

H. Seeing Scrooge and Donald and Della together in action was glorious. Surely we saw it before, can’t remember, buuuuut still glorious.

I. also aaaaaaaa Huey’s woodchucking skills saving the day, the parallel with the villain coming together nicely

J. and all the kids getting to shine too!

Okay, I’m sure I forgot a ton of important stuff as I just sat down and started rambling. Now I can look at TVTropes and the whole rest of tumblr and AO3 and everything!
