Reading a fic that's so well written I wish I could close my eyes and just let the descriptions and atmosphere wash over me, but the dilemma with closing my eyes is, well, I then would not be able to continue reading this fic, now would I.

Replaying da2 just has me so damn fond of Kirkwall and so appreciative of how alive it feels. The way the cast has individualised responses to things like the women catcalling them on the docks, the guards acknowledging Aveline as one of their own, Gamlen’s sheepish response if you approach him in the brothel, the change in address to Hawke from getting sneers in Hightown over their foreign heritage vs being called serah/messare.

The way the city is constantly murmuring around you! Andraste’s ashes grifters! Political machinations around the threat Amaranthine poses to trade! Stupid errands servants are being sent on around Hightown! God, the dumb loveable gossip in the Hanged Man! The roiling tension around the Qunari and then the Mages & Templars! Nobles throwing tantrums about the Viscount not seeing them yet. The entire world going on between the Blooming Rose staff; bitching out some coworkers they dislike and their children chatting to the bartenders AND laughing at some of the outrageous asks of their patrons.

It all feels so alive and it’s wonderful

Riddler being Batman's "Guardian Angel" very nice. I do really like it when Riddler seems to have full control / partial control over the city. Guy in the chair Riddler is where hes at his best. (Also him calling Batman and Yin "Detectives" love that he still remembers her being a huge thorn in his side even if he most likely cant remember her name the narcissistic bitch♡)

This is horrifying. I love all the good shots we get of people being Joker gassed but this one really stood out to me of this goon collapsing Infront of the "camera". (also another moment of appreciation for the kickass Riddler goon look- why doesn't the man himself look more like these guys)

Yin being the one to fuck up the Riddlers plans yet again. Yes queen get his ass.

Gordon looks so cool. Its the coat but like still. Also love how this episode lights him.

I suppose rather well, if not a little bit awkward at first.

If Kaiba can actually find time to hang out with both Mokuba and Eve, it's usually spent in rather big ways. Maybe going down to downtown Tokyo and visiting the tourist trap destinations, or taking everyone out to Kaiba land to visit the guests attending and enjoy themselves, maybe even a night in at their huge private theater watching whatever big blockbuster hit just came out.

It's never really anything small and confined, because Kaiba only gives the best and biggest events he can, especially to the two people he actually cares about.

Though it was a little rough at first, considering Mokuba and Kaiba don't have a healthy relationship, but a healing one, and Eve is an entirely new family member altogether still adjusting to her size, they do tend to get along really well and enjoy each other's company.
