i used to wonder why ppl dont just pirate all their tv shows, but i guess it does make sense if u have a tv. "there's nothing on!', so u go to the streaming apps, which modern tvs have if u have internet at home, and just hope for whatever, as opposed to hopping on ur laptop. though i know the joke nowadays is that its still harder to find anything and u have to spend 20 mins searching while u wanna eat or smth

Lost Media: A Lorax mobile game

called Truffula Shuffula.

Here is the application’s display icon:

Why is Pipsqueak holding a Truffula Tree? Also plastering the film’s logo onto the app icon just makes it obvious that the game is just there to promote the Lorax film.

What is it?

A licenced match-3 Lorax game developed by Blockdot/NBCUniversal Media LLC. It is apparently some sort of Bejeweled/Candy Crush derivative, but with a 2012 Lorax theme.

In this game, you should match three or more tiles that feature things like soft marshmallows, Truffula fruits, Truffula tufts, and Truffula Trees; even Truffula seeds. Also, there are bubble tiles.

You could shake your mobile or press the Shuffula button to shuffle the tiles if you ever get stuck in the puzzle. “Shuffula”s have a limited supply, so you need to use them wisely. There is a “Total Possible Moves” which I do not know how it works, but I guess it is the moves left until the player fails the level.

Other than the Lorax aesthetic, this game feels more like an average dolled-up installment of Bejeweled, and does not add anything new to the genre except just to promote the then-upcoming Lorax film.

Now that I know the context of this game, I can put it into the Crappy Games Wiki if I have enough time, because this game is

NOTHING BUT A BEJEWELED CLONE PAINTED WITH A CUTE WHIMSY THEME.

tbh i havent even gotten that into the mahoyaku story first-hand yet (excluding stuff my friends told me and the stage plays i watched without english subtitles) im just currently obsessed with trying to decipher this game due to the fact that there is no english translation and so many links on masterlists are now broken
