Dreamt of a new fandom concept called cannonballing. The idea was that someone who had seen all of a show (the weirder the better, Riverdale was the one in my dream), would have someone else with little to no knowledge binge watch the entirety of the show. The person who knew it all would be the "sponsor" of the person who was going to watch it. They have them come over to their place and have food and snacks for them and stuff.

That's sort of as far as the dream explicitly went but i got the impression the person watching it would compare it to other stuff theyd seen or whatever show they were super into and that maybe they're reactions would be recorded (which as i understand is already kind of a thing?) and either livestreamed or not.

Oh the term cannonballing came from jumping into the pool as the way to get into something, i.e. getting completely immersed in it with no warning/prior knowledge. Also since riverdale was used as the example I guess maybe you'd do like a season a day rather than going without sleep but I think you'd go into the next season the next day and the next the day after that without stopping.

Anyways what shows would you use for a cannonball?
