I think such a big reason my trans manhood feels almost... bigendered is simply because in the eyes of most people (specifically cis people with whom I interact with most), I straddle this weird line wherein I am a man and often am seen as one, but I am also clearly undefinable insofar as cis theory goes, clearly queer, clearly outside of manhood if one only accepts cishet, patriarchal manhood. This definitely used to be a source of dysphoria for me, but I think now that I've transitioned, it's been interesting to explore this more. Am I wholly a man? Yes. Am I a man of multitudes? Yes. Do these multitudes contradict? Well, that depends on your definition of "contradiction"

didn’t give much context before but we’re going with that the egg was abandoned in winter horns and recovered by a group of waddle explorers

there wasn’t a lot of (known) writing on dedede’s species so figuring out what to do from there was kinda hard and they didn’t really know anything for certain, but between a little research, a gut feeling, and dedede and mk already used to Parenting, they passed the egg onto them to look after and well. yeah

it was definitely a rollercoaster for dedede, to be given hope that there were others like him after all - so it was only natural he’d take it very seriously. he spends a lot of time with them and they’re very clingy because of it. he says they’re like a duckling

being so big also comes with problems because as clingy as they are, they outgrew being able to be held by other people pretty fast lol

i cant help but notice that in the version of the ending where sage doesnt "die" and gets to go home with eggman shes not flashing between color palettes shes white and blue the whole time in that scene . and in all sonic channel art of sage thats been released since the final horizon dlc came out shes been in her white and blue color palette. is that just what she looks like permanently now ..?

what’s really embarrassing is my roommate on the phone with his mom saying “yeah i’ve been getting really sloppy i haven’t cleaned in a week it’s terrible” and my side of the room is just like that. all of the time. and i feel guilty but he also hasn’t ever said anything to my face he moved my stuff some at the beginning of the year but has never talked to me about it and i’m also so fucking ill that i just cant really handle adding that to my list while trying to also not fail school. so here i am being a terrible person i guess. did i tell you guys about turtle-person. have i showed my bracelets. i’m gonna go to sleep but in the morning i need to show my bracelets

conclusion: THEY ARE THE SAME CHARACTER, so obviously i had to draw them interacting

jk they are very different but i just couldn’t stop thinking about this surface level comparison... and i can imagine them getting along for the first 10-15 minutes of their interaction (”ah yes, finally, a fellow intellectual”), then they’d start trying to one up each other, especially who can use bigger words and who understands game’s alchemy better, which would lead to their sarcastic and competitive nature to come out, not to mention Rose’s passive-aggressiveness not mixing well with Donnie’s inability to catch more subtle social cues, aaaaand later Donnie discovers Rose’s fascination with magic and wizards and her general witch-y aesthetic which he very loudly would declare being idiotic and well- it’d be just hell from there :D

And the second half of the Murasa works! Once again, I have no idea what compelled me to chose the instruments I did, but I'm glad about it! The flutes give this theme a very fun vibe! Despite flutes usually being very airy, this still keeps the nautical feel to me. Maybe Murasa's in a different ocean than normal?

more realistically they'd sit in silence for like 10 hours straight but i like the idea of barok feeling the awkward need to talk enough to fill up the space so he just goes on tangents about random shit that happened during his day
