Pairing: Hawkwitch/Scarlethawk (Clint/Wanda)

Prompt: Sharing food.

As Clint was back at his farmhouse with his sister-in-law, Laura and her kids, he went outside.

He stood, on the deck of the farmhouse, and sighed. He removed his bow-tie, of the suit on which he hated wearing, and threw it perfectly on a nearby bench.

It had been a chaotic few years for him.

Just then, a car horn made Clint look over towards a red car. In the driver’s seat, was Darcy Lewis and in the passenger seat was Wanda Maximoff.

THE Wanda Maximoff that he took care of after her brother died. He was happy to get Wanda for Steve so they can help him and Bucky get Zemo.

“Wanda? What happened?” Clint went over to her as she walked out to him and standing there awkwardly, looking down on the ground.

Darcy also got out of the car and made her way towards the pair.

“Are you Clint Barton?” She asked him, adjusting her iconic purple beanie. “Yes... And you are?” “Darcy Lewis. Astrophysicist and member of SWORD. Are you the legal guardian of Wanda Maximoff?” “I... guess I am. What is this about?” He wondered in confusion.

Darcy sighed.

“Wanda here, decided to change reality and resurrect Vision.” She explained to the archer. “She is... not ready for the world, as of yet.”

Clint looked over to Wanda who had a gulity look on her face.

“It’s okay. I can take care of her until she is ready.” Clint said to Darcy.

She left Wanda with him and after the astrophysicist drove off, he went and hugged Wanda. of course he was taller than her, so her head was on his chest.

“Don’t worry, I know what you are going through and I will take care of you. We will go to my apartment in Brooklyn and you’ll be safe there.”

Wanda just nodded. Clint told her to stay where she was as he went back in the farmhouse to pack his things. He said goodbye to his family before heading out and to his truck.

“Wanda! Come on, we’re leaving!” Clint called out to her.

She jumped into the passenger seat of the truck and started to fiddle with her long brown-blonde hair.

As they are on their way, Clint noticed Wanda being very uncomfortable. He looked over to her. “You hungry?” He asked her.

She just shrugged.

He stopped outside a diner, just off of the motorway. He helped Wanda out of the truck and ordered themselves some food. He was sat opposite her.

An awkward silence between them both.

“Are you going to tell me what happened then?” Clint asked her, eating a hamburger out of his two hands. “Should I?” She replied softly, softly chewing a chip. “You don’t have to. I know you miss Vision, but to change reality? That is a bit too far...” Clint muttered. “I know...” “If you were upset or anxious about something, you should’ve came to me, instead of causing chaos, Wanda.”

Wanda nodded and tears fell from her eyes. Clint dropped his burger and sat next to Wanda, hugging her from the side. 

“It’s okay, Wanda. It’s okay.” Clint whispered to her, still hugging her softly.

She smiled at Clint and put her head on his shoulder. He slid his meal towards him and smiled as he ate his burger. Wanda took a chip and put it near Clint’s mouth. She mouthed, “Eat it. We can share.”

Clint chuckled as he gently snatched it out of her hand and into his mouth.

Never Be The Same (drabble)

Requested by @westrangestudentheart: Doctor Strange brings Wanda to life (as he didn’t die). He only was allowed to bring one life back at the Avengers reunion.

Timeline: During Avengers 4

Steve Rogers had called everyone who was alive for an Avengers reunion party after Thanos has been defeated. Of course, Rocket and Nebula was invited.

But everyone wasn’t celebrating... They were mourning. But, the only person at the party who mourned more than the others. That was Clint. 

He took out a picture of him and Wanda, at his safehouse, messing around in the nearby lake.

He looked at it

And now she was gone.

“Hey Clint. I’m sorry for your loss. I know you loved her...” Natasha sat down next to him and comforted him.

“Yeah, but she didn’t know I did.”

Just then, the door slammed open. Everyone went silent.

“Who’s that?” Tony wondered out loud.

“Tony. Bruce. Wong.”

“Doctor Strange?!”

“Yes, I’m alive. Don’t make me explain it all. I just had a massive breakthrough.”

“What is it?” Steve sternly said as everyone stood up.

“I can bring back someone from the dead!”

Everyone cheered. Steve suggested Bucky. Nakia suggested King T’Challa. Thor suggested Loki. And so on...

Natasha looked at Clint, who was still sad. 

Then, she looked at the others. She had to do something for her best friend. Then, she shouted, “QUIET!”

Everyone went silent.

“What about Wanda? Clint,here, loves her to bits and he’s the most saddest person in the room. What do you think?”

Everyone felt sympathy for Clint. They all agreed to bring Wanda back.

After Doctor Strange and Wong revived Wanda back to life by her pile of dust, she opened her eyes.

Stephen came out of the room.

“Clint, she’s about to wake up.” Clint rushes into the room and saw Wanda, lying on the sofa.

“Where-where am I?”

“Wanda?” Wanda stays lying down in agony as she looks at Clint. 

“Clint?” 

“I can’t believe you’re alive.”

“I know you’ve been mourning me...My spirit was still alive. I know you have something to tell me.”

(ignore the text)

“Do I?” 

“As I said, my spirit was still alive...” There was a long awkward silence until Wanda broke it.

“I love you, Clint.” Clint smiles.

“I love you too.” Clint kisses her forehead. Then, Wanda pulled him down to kiss him on the lips. 

Clint had got his Wanda back.

Wanda went to turn to face Clint to find out what he meant when she was pushed against the wall. A small surprised squeak came out of her lips before she thought to ask him why. When his lips pressed into hers that was when she realized why he had done that. Out of instinct, she found herself wrapping her arms around his neck. Running her fingers through his hair as she melted into the kiss. Only once he broke the kiss that she was able to speak. “V-V-Vow. . . I didn’t expect zhat.” Her cheeks flushed from embarrassment and the passion that she felt from him. “I didn’t know. .”
