a vent, im sorry i just need to get this out
my cousins friends practically played my cousin right back into her (and mine) old cult by isolating her and continue to demonize her and programmed parts, they treated her like an adult when she’s barely been an adult and barely a child, they completely dismiss while claiming not to dismiss her trauma, lashing and feeding into isolating her. she’s living with us rn but sometimes talks about wanting to go back, “go home” because a part of her (she and me have DiD/OSDD1B) is programmed to “not stray from the cult” and she feels like there’s nothing for her out here, neither does the part, i just. I don’t want to lose my cousin becus she might not come back this time since there’s a chance she’ll be ‘punished’ for straying… she feels like she’s too broken to function outside of the cult anymore and i don’t know what to do.
That’s horrible. It’s also normal to want to return to the cult.
Thank you for sharing what is going on with us.

ingo being a. crazy old man suddenly reminded me of an old concept that went through my brain once where Ingo has. FULLY LOST IT. he keeps having visions of emmet that are driving him mad and so many zoroarks take his form that he starts to think that the real almighty sinnoh is like. some fucked up zoroark deity taking the form of a man in a pristine white coat and hat, and that the reason he fell into hisui with no memory in the first place was. because he literally came into existence right in that moment to be the messenger to the almighty sinnoh. (he finds out that its his brother and becomes normal. or he becomes worse.)
WAIT YEAH . I LOVE THIS . I love when old man goes insane and works himself into a religious mania

Screenshotting because I don't feel like picking a fight:
I feel pretty creeped out by this.
I do think part of being, like, a responsible citizen of the world is understanding at least the broad overview of the philosophies and beliefs of the people you're likely to interact with. You don't need to study them in depth, but you should get the overall gist. That will often mean double checking the things you were taught about minority religions growing up, because the majority ideology is rarely accurate and honest about the minority.
But like: if you are recovering from "religious trauma" that goes on the back burner. Becoming a learned individual who understands the worlds religions and cultures is an expectation I place on people who's lives are otherwise pretty good. If you're struggling with the abuse you've been put through, you likely have other priorities.

While I know the Lamb is most likely capable of speaking I do find it interesting that most people headcannon that the Lamb has a scar from their first death. A scar The One Who Waits cannot heal, do you think he could not heal their throat? The prehaps their vessel striken mute without the aid of the crown is familair?

i don’t know who needs to hear this, but you’re not healing if you’re running. you’re not healing if you’re avoiding. you’re not healing if you’re not confronting it. you’re not healing if you don’t trust that there is a future for you on the other side of it.

There's this weird and very gory French + Canadian film called Martyrs (exercise caution when looking it up in terms of images if that stuff freaks you out) and the basic concept is like. Some cult trying to understand what happens after death by bringing people to the brink of it in the most traumatic and agonizing ways possible. And I just realized that that's really some William Afton shit, both for the original motive and for remnant extraction.
(Accidentally wrote an essay in the tags so, ah. Read those I guess)

i'm sure kenjaku has a lot of connections for them to be able to walk into the white house like that but why did they talk to the US president and an international audience of powerful countries using the body of a highly wanted terrorist in japan who was killed not even half a year ago

There’s this thing I heard about it taking an average of 7 attempts for someone to leave an abusive relationship. I wasn’t in a domestic violence relationship but here’s my list of attempts to leave:
2015 - tried moving to college dorms with hope of staying out after that, couldn’t afford it
2016 - tried dropping out to work instead of continuing a major I hated. foiled by literally every concerned adult
2016 - tried transferring schools to the opposite side of the country, got talked out of it last minute
2016 - almost joined the Air National Guard
2017 - moved to a dorm hoping to stay out after that, couldn’t afford it
2017 - almost joined the Air Force
2018 - almost joined the Air Force again
2019 - tried getting into grad school on the opposite side of the country
2019 - spent one week trying to join the military again before I came to my own senses
2020 - ran away to my aunt’s house for a month
2020 - tried moving close by, stayed totally enmeshed
2021 - went partway down the path of getting a job in Texas just to get out
2022 - drove 1800 miles in two days with a car and a dog to a KOA cabin in nowhereville Washington with literally no plan
And somehow that one stuck!
If you’re in your list of attempts right now, keep going. Don’t give up. You’ll be ready one of these times and there’s a lot of the world open to you and ready to help you run when you finally can.

If you were a deity, what would you be god of?
Desire and Sexuality
You're mysterious and alluring. When lovers seek a magnetic connection, they pray to you. You're particularly associated with Eros, erotic love, and mania, obsessive love. You exude intense magnetism and your voice is like a siren call, luring anyone and everyone you desire.
