It's okay to want to be plural. It's okay to love being plural! It's okay to love those in your system, it's okay to be happier working as a team. There is joy in being plural for so many people - for some, it comes from the start, and for others, they have to claw and fight for it. Either way, it's okay to be proud! It's okay to find happiness in plurality. Healthy multiplicity is real

i understand that younger people can get swept up in discourse about not wanting to step on the toes of disabled people (DID, UDD, OSDD etc systems), but back in the day in the early 90s, the people paving the way and pioneering inclusive plural safe spaces were almost entirely endo systems. every single site about multiplicity from the 90s and 2000s focused very heavily on healthy and non disordered multiplicity and how DID (known as MPD back then) was valid and also a form of multiplicity... just not the ONLY one. they also helped dispell myths about DID, and gave links to accurate information about disordered plurality as well
there were people identifying as naturally and spiritually plural way, way before DID even got the name it has now, it's such a normal phenomenon that has numerous causes. sites like kinhost.org and Astraea's Web were all about discussing plurality without mentioning disorders, without passing judgment.
even so, the spiritual and natural multiplicity communities literally helped me realize i had DID. they gave me access to information about real people with DID like Truddi Chase and The Troops, and helped me research actual medical papers and documents. though a hard read, When Rabbit Howls helped me confirm that I also have DID... and I have only ever seen this book mentioned on sites run by non disordered systems. (lots of TWs for the book BTW please ask me or research before reading.)
we work best together. all system types make a great team. let's keep working together.

I hate syscourse btw but like what is the problem with saying an alter is non-verbal?? some of our brainpals are nonverbal nd we think its a fine term? nonverbal quite literally means "not verbal / incapable of being verbal" so what's the issue with alters using it???

I am BEGGING YOU to stop moralizing fusion.
in BOTH DIRECTIONS
not wanting to fuse is okay! wanting to fuse is okay!
pursuing final fusion? Okay! Pursuing healthy multiplicity? OKAY!
Your recovery is not going to be the same as someone else's
I know a lot of this comes from a backlash to final fusion being viewed as the only acceptable way to heal for so so long, but it's not okay to go the other way around and shame people for fusion.
I also want to say that I as a DID system have experience unplanned/unexpected fusions that were DISTRESSING. and there have been times where I have been discussing this (since I think people should talk about it more! It's okay to be struggling to process fusion!) and seen people say things like "well WE would never want to fuse" "I love my system I don't want them to go away"
you are valid but you need to recognize the way that you're saying these things in a way that is shaming. you're implying that someone aimed for fusion (they don't always! sometimes it just happens naturally!) or that they wanted their system to "go away".
it's rude.
recognize that not every system is the same and we need to be supporting each other regardless of if our goals or paths happen to change, whether we hope for it or not

You can't support healthy multiplicity and oppose created systems.
If someone intentionally becoming plural makes you uncomfortable because you think being a system is inherently less healthy than being a singlet, then it logically follows that a system who achieves healthy multiplicity is less healthy than one who achieves final fusion.
Normalizing healthy multiplicity can't happen when the support of many boils down to "I support you in choosing to be less healthy than if you fused."
I don't think that's the intention. These groups haven't thought that far into it, and don't want to confront their own internalized sanism and cognitive dissonance.
But intent doesn't really matter. r/systemscringe and r/fakedisordercringe are listening, and their takeaway is that all multiplicity is a terrible experience that nobody would ever want, and anyone who has positive experiences with being plural are lying fakers.
Every post falsely claiming created systems are unhealthy puts just a little bit more stigma of healthy multiplicity out into the world.

even though our system was technically caused by trauma, we don't typically use traumagenic to describe ourselves. it feels like saying our trauma is what defines us, when that isn't the case. we're so much more than that now. we're a family. we've all helped each other and grown alongside each other. what i went through affects me much less now, because of them. and isn't that the purpose of a system like ours? to heal?

episode six's vaggie-as-an-angel reveal actually clarifies a lot of things about her dynamic with charlie that i previously found uninteresting or underutilized. it's clear that she has some kind of loyalty/utility complex founded on her low self-esteem, which absolutely makes sense if she used to be an exorcist. she comes from a place where blind obedience is key, and a single act of mercy got her cast out and brutalized—of course she would latch onto the first person who showed her kindness and love. of course it makes sense that she would become fixated on the idea of "repenting" for her past violence against charlie's home by devoting herself to protecting charlie's dreams. their relationship wasn't very compelling to me before but this adds so many delicious dimensions to it; if charlie was the one who found vaggie and took her in, who earned her trust and fell in love with her, then of course vaggie would see charlie as the center of her universe, and would see failing charlie as a reflection of her own worthlessness. and it would never occur to her to tell charlie the truth once she found out how charlie feels about angels, because she loves charlie too much to risk earning her hatred or scorn (even though i don't believe charlie could ever hate her).

Prompt 210
The battle had been long. Long and destructive, power rolling from both combatants as they launched at each other and tore through armor and flesh alike.
Islands fell from the skies with every clash, swaths of utter annihilation following as they fought long after their armies had finished. Wings swept great gales of wind that shadows raced to block, fire meeting fire and claws meeting blade as two beasts brawled.
Finess was no longer a thing needed- this was all about who could last longer now. One who fought for itself, for its legacy of tyranny, and another who fought together, as one.
The battle was long, no one quite sure how long but enough to be called as such. It could have been hours, it could have been days, it could have even been centuries in this mauling of what was and what could be.
And finally, the One-That-Was-Many rose victorious over the king before it, dead once more at its talons, wings spread to usher in a new era for the realms.
Or at least, that was how the tale went, according to Marvel. Even he wasn’t sure what parts of it were true or simply legend, but it was an interesting story all the same. It kept the kids entertained at least, and caught the others attention so there was that.

it's okay if you don't know what type of system you are. it's okay if you don't know if you have roles. it's confusing enough to exist as numerous people living in one body, you can take things slowly and if you never get to figuring that out, oh well... figuring out how to survive as a system is far more important.

This isn't the point of that post you made but I can't help but need to comment on one part
"Non-disordered means that you're a system but it isn't a disorder, you just are one(which also isn't possible according to the DSM-5, by the way.)"
And once again these are the same people on the side that says pro endogenics are the ones who are anti-recovery
There's a reason I stay so far away from these people. They are the most 'there's no such thing as becoming healthy, that will never happen' I've ever seen and it's so harmful for the exact same people they insist they are doing all this to fight for
You know, I actually find that many anti-endos aren't necessarily arguing that you can't possibly be healthy even if this rhetoric does strongly come off that way. (Although this is r/systemscringe so maybe this one does believe that. There are plenty there who don't believe in healthy multiplicity. )
Instead, I find that they're usually arguing a very, very stupid technicality.
See, a disorder, once diagnosed, is on your records forever. And that's a good thing as a bureaucratic tool. It means a patient can be diagnosed with depression once, recover, and feel secure that their insurance will cover treatment if they relapse 5 years later.
The problem comes in when one starts viewing disorders not as clinical labels to help patients in clinical settings, but as identity labels that define you as a person.
It seems absurd to me to tell someone who was diagnosed with MDD because of a two-week long depressive episode that they recovered from after a month of treatment that they're "disordered" 30 years later despite never having another episode, just because they technically still have a diagnosis on record.
But this is exactly how people are treating DID when they say that someone with DID, even after final fusion, will always have DID.
Even if being anti-recovery isn't the intention here though, I do feel it at least contributes to creating this environment of hopelessness around mental not only DID, but other mental illnesses as well.

our head hurts, malachi is freaking out because “what if i’m not even real?”, miles is pissed someone made us upset, and we’re blurry as all hell, which isn’t helping
it’s not that hard to not tell someone their system is actually all delusions.
and even if it is, does that make us not a system? or is it just a different type? /gen
