"This is Kenma," the tall boy in front of you grins, "and he's our setter. I'm sure the two of you will get along great."
Kenma groans but finally looks up at you. You're shocked for a second as his eyes widen as his gaze meets your own. Kenma quickly looks away and struggles to get out of Kuroo's grasp.
Ritsuko continues to explain to Kuroo that you're going to be practicing with them the days the girls' team doesn't hold practice.
"Well have fun, Y/N," she says as she pats your head, "Thanks for looking after her, Kuroo."
After Kuroo assures Ritsuko that you're in good hands she takes off, leaving you there with a bunch of strangers crowding around you.
"Who's your friend?" Kuroo laughs.
"My captain," you groan, "she's the worst."
Kenma then mutters something under his breath that's inaudible to you but results in a slap on the back of the head by Kuroo.
"Ouch," he quietly complains.
At the sound of the loud smack, you give Kuroo your undivided attention, worried about how strict he's going to be with you. However, his face gets soft as he looks back at you and smiles. He wraps you close around his other arm as he introduces the rest of the team to you.
You take this moment to analyze the rest of the team.
Thank God he's not here. I guess he's not on the team anymore.
"So how long has it been since you last played volleyball?" Kuroo asks as he releases you from his grip.
You watch as Kenma finally breaks free and walks away, cursing under his breath. The second you catch yourself staring you snap back your attention to Kuroo.
"Oh uh, I think a few months. I had a broken arm last season and then I didn't get to play over break," you tell him.
Kuroo nods as he listens to your story. He tells you that he understands and then ushers the team over, letting them know he's going to start practice.
"Y/N you can warm up with Yaku, sound good?" he asks.
You nod as you turn around and see Yaku running over to you.
"Hi Y/N!" he shouts as he pulls you over to a free spot.
"Yaku where's you coach?" you ask as the pair of you sit and begin stretching.
Yaku looks around to make sure his coach isn't there.
"Hm I'm not sure," he shrugs, "but he'll probably be here in a few minutes."
"O-Okay," you respond nervously, "are you sure it's okay for me to join the group even though your coach didn't okay it?"
Yaku nods and lets you know that Nekomata-sensei won't mind.
The two of you then move on to warming up. Yaku gives you a simple exercise to do with him and you willingly go along with it.
"Is this the whole team?" you ask as you look around the room.
"I think so," he shrugs.
A few minutes go by as the two of you warm up until Yaku finally lets you know that the vice-captain is missing.
Fuck, he's still on the team.
Just then Nekomata-sensei walks in and begins greeting the team. Yaku immediately yanks you over to him and begins explaining you to him with the help of Kuroo.
"Well of course she's welcome to join the practices," he grins.
You bow and politely thank him.
——
During practice, Kuroo and Lev ask you to set to them so you begin walking to the furthest court to practice.
"Okay go ahead Y/N!" Lev says to you.
Kuroo tosses you a ball and you gently set it to Lev, but it's way too low.
"Uh sorry," you say nervously, "I guess I didn't realize how tall you were."
"It's alright, try it again!" Lev responds.
You nod and give Kuroo a thumbs up, letting him know you're ready for the next toss.
Once again your set is too low for Lev. Kuroo then calls over Fukunaga. As Fukunaga runs over, Kuroo approaches you. He turns you to the side where Lev is and positions his hands over the back of yours. Your body stiffens as he leans down at your height and presses his back against yours. You allow him to move your hands to where he knows Lev is going to jump to.
"This is a good angle," he whispers to you.
You get chills throughout your body as Kuroo speaks to you.
"Lev you ready?" he asks over your shoulder.
You look over at Lev who gives a thumbs up slowly, a bit flustered just watching how close Kuroo is to you.
"Ready gorgeous?"
You roll your eyes, finally catching on to what Kuroo's trying to do.
"Of course, handsome," you smirk.
Kuroo chuckles and calls for Fukunaga to send the ball to you. Kuroo backs away slightly and you set to Lev, way better than it was before.
You turn around and look at Kuroo, shocked that he was actually able to help you.
I guess I misjudged him.
"Are you sure you're not a setter?" you tease.
"Nah," he chuckles, "but maybe I should be since I'm better than you."
You roll your eyes playfully before thanking him for his help. He congratulates you and then relieves Fukunaga from his post.
"Ready Lev?" you say excitedly.
He happily nods and you turn back to Kuroo who's already grinning back at you.
"Let's go!"

1 | Fluorescent Lights
Pairing: Mikey x Fem!Reader
Undercover Masterlist
A rundown warehouse hidden away in the seedy outskirts of the city houses where you work- an infamous underground fighting ring. Its rusted metal walls seem to echo with the whispers of forbidden battles that had taken place within its walls. The air is thick with anticipation, a palpable mix of adrenaline, fear, and the putrid scent of sweat.
Dimly lit by the flickering fluorescent lights hanging from the low ceiling, the ring itself stood as the focal point of the room. Its canvas is rather worn and stained, bearing the marks of countless intense matches. Surrounding the ring, rows of rickety wooden benches provide seating for the eager spectators, their eyes hungry for the raw display of violence.
You, dressed in black jeans and a faded leather jacket, stand near the edge of the ring, holding up a tattered sign with bold letters announcing the upcoming fights. Your eyes dart across the crowd, taking in the diverse assortment of spectators from rough-looking men in leather jackets, women with smudged makeup and curious expressions, and even a few suited businessmen, eager to witness the brutality.
As the current fight concluded, your boss, a wide man with a greasy beard and a half-drunk demeanor swaggers over to you. He removes the cigar from between his lips and lets out a boisterous laugh, slapping his companion on the back. "Hey, Y/N, fancy joining the fray tonight? I hear you've got some moves!"
You arch an eyebrow, your lips curling into a sly grin. "Oh, Frank, you know I"m not one to back down from a challenge, but my talent lies in holding up signs and stirring up the crowd, not throwing punches."
The man beside Frank, a muscular and tattooed hulk of a man, joins in with a playful smirk. "Come on, Y/N, don't be a buzzkill. Let's see those hidden fighting skills of yours. I'll even go easy on you."
You tilt your head, a glint of mischief dancing in her eyes. "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into," you tell him. "But tonight my role is simply to ignite the crowd, not become their main event."
Frank erupts into a hearty laugh, swaying slightly on his feet. "Alright, alright, Y/N. Just remember, the offer stands if you ever change your mind. We could use a firecracker like you in the ring!"
With a nonchalant wave, you turn on her heels and saunter toward the exit, leaving behind the clamor of cheering and the aura of the underground ring, instead relishing the cool breeze that welcomes you into the night.
When you get home, you push open the creaky door of your shabby apartment, the worn-out handle offering a familiar resistance as you enter. Inside, the dimly lit space greets you with a mixture of comfort and weariness, the atmosphere a reflection of the struggles you face every day. Your gaze sweeps across the room, taking in the sight of Hakkai and Yuzuha lounging on the old, worn couch.
Hakkai, with weary eyes, is slumped against the cushions with a visible air of discontent surrounding him. He had tossed his school bag aside, a silent protest against the academic burden that weighs him down. You shake your head, your voice laced with a mix of sympathy and regret. "Hang in there, Hakkai. I know school is tough, but education is important. Don't make the same mistake I did."
"Oh, you're home!" your sister's voice chimes in, her hunger evident in the slight whine that accompanies her next words. "I'm starving. Is there anything to eat?"
You glance at the meager supplies in the kitchenette, sighing at the limited options. "We're low on groceries, but I'll go out later and get something. We still have bread," you say, retrieving a slightly stale loaf from a tattered bag.
Yuzuha scrunches her nose in distaste. "Stale bread again? Ugh, it's like chewing on cardboard."
You manage a half-hearted grin, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, I found some soup too. It's not gourmet, but it'll do for now."
Your two siblings gather around the small table, the flickering light from the television casting a hazy glow on their faces. You then join them and take bites of your small meal.
"What're you guys watching anyway?" you ask as you glance over at the television. The sound of new reports then fills the room, detailing the rising tide of gang activity in the area. "Oh, lovely."
Hakkai points at the screen, his voice laced with concern. "Look at it, Y/N. Gang violence is escalating. It's getting out of control."
You lean forward, a flicker of determination in your eyes. "I know, Hakkai. That's why we need to stay safe and look out for each other. We can't afford to get caught up in that world. Besides, you know exactly who is to blame for the world going to shit."
Yuzuha's brow furrows, her voice tinged with worry. "But what if we can't avoid it? What if he comes knocking on our door?"
"He won't," you assure her. "We've made it this long without him and we'll be fine. I have my job, you're looking, Yuzuha, and Hakkai, you're still going to school. Don't be an idiot like your two sisters and drop out."
"We've come a long way, haven't we?" Yuzuha smiles softly at you. "From all the crap we've gone though."
Hakkai nods. "Cause we've had Y/N to fight all our battles for us."
"That's not true," you disagree. "We've done everything together for the past six years."
As the last remnants of your simple yet comforting meal disappear from the chipped plates, the news reports of gang activity have subsided, replaced by a lighthearted comedy that elicits genuine laughter from all of you. It's in these precious moments, amidst the chaos of the world outside, that you find solace in the shared bond of family.

1 | A Literary Affair
Pairing: Sanzu x Fem!Reader
The Book of Salvation
The red carpet stretches out before you like a river of shimmering lights. You stand in the spotlight, side by side with your two closest friends, Nairobi and Amaya. Cameras click constantly, capturing the heart of the fleeting moment.
Nairobi, a vibrant presence on your right, has her hair woven into two buns, flaming her face like a crown. Reddish-brown glasses sit across her nose, adding an intellectual edge to her style.
A reporter approaches Nairobi, a microphone held out like an offering. "Nairobi, your influence in journalism and activism is undeniable. What's your next battleground for change?"
Nairobi's smile is a sunbeam breaking through clouds. "Thank you. I'm turning my attention to giving voice to the LGBTQ+ community in African and Asian societies. Their narratives deserve a spotlight, and I'm committed to shining a light on their journeys."
Amaya, standing on your left, is a portrait of elegance. Dark hair cascades down her shoulders like a waterfall against her skin. She radiates an air of quiet confidence, a visual effects virtuoso in her own right.
A different reporter turns to Amaya, their curiosity evident. "Amaya, could you share the intricacies of your recent project?"
Amaya's eyes gleam with pride. "My recent venture involved crafting intricate digital landscapes for a film. The challenge lies in translating the director's vision into pixels while honoring authenticity which I'm so glad I was able to accomplish."
The reporter's intrigue then lingers. "And if 'Dawn of a New Era' makes its cinematic debut, would you weave your visual effects magic into it?"
Amaya's gaze shifts to you, a knowing smile playing on her lips. 'Dawn of a New Era' is your book, your baby, and she'd be more than thrilled to get to be a part of it. "Absolutely. If the stars align, I'd be honored to lend 'Dawn of a New Era' a touch of visual marvel."
Amid the sea of camera flashes and applause, lenses begin to swivel towards a towering figure entering the scene. Amaya gasps softly, her eyes widening like a child's. Following her gaze, you see what the paparazzi are so excited about- Haruchiyo Sanzu, the heartthrob of Earthpig, the new musical sensation everyone's talking about.
Nairobi leans toward you, her voice a playful tease, "He's a fine sight, isn't he? If I were even in his league, I'd be swooning."
You smile at her comment. "He is, but what's all the fuss? Did they drop new music or something?"
Amaya shakes her head. "When the rising star in the music world dyes his hair back to pink, everyone wants to get the first look."
Sanzu's eyes meet yours for a moment, and your heart stops. It feels almost silly to have such a moment, but he truly is quite handsome. But then Amaya breaks the spell, causing you to look away. "Aw, Nairobi, you are in his league. If you're interested, you should totally go for it."
Just as she finishes speaking, a reporter redirects your attention once again. "Could you please remind us of the premise of your recently published book, 'Dawn of a New Era'?"
"Of course," you smile. "It's a romance thriller set in an apocalyptic world," you then add, managing a composed smile despite the flash of the cameras competing for your attention.
As you continue to answer questions, Sanzu's ability to move through the reporters as if they were transparent draws your gaze. But then, another reporter seizes the opportunity to ask, "Did you mean for your book to come to a rather predictable ending?"
Your words falter, the unexpected question catching you off guard. Luckily, you haven't had to face much criticism for your new book, but right now you're starting to get overwhelmed. You look toward your friends who are now a small distance away, both in their own small interviews.
Then, another question comes. "Did you steal from Miki Okawa's 'Gomorrah'?"
Your reply to this one is swift. It's not the first time you've been accused of something like this. "No. I would never do that."
Your gaze involuntarily returns to Sanzu, his eyes locked on yours once more. This time, however, he's making his way in your direction. Your heart quickens, and a gulp passes your lips. Suddenly, the weight of the situation dawns on you.
"Sorry, that's all the time I have," you manage to say, feeling the nervousness creep into your voice. All you want is to return to your friends' side.
However, the swarm of reporters inches you away from your friends. Panic bubbles up as you struggle to manage the stream of questions and the relentless camera flashes.
Before you can fully exit the frustrating situation, a comforting hand lands on your shoulder. You turn, and there he is – Haruchiyo Sanzu, the heartthrob of Earthpig, standing by your side.
Sanzu's presence immediately instills an unexpected calm within you, even as your heart races because the commotion of the event just landed on your shoulder! You're too aware that this moment will be all the talk for weeks to come.
In a move that both unsettles and strangely comforts you, Sanzu slides his arm around your shoulder and places his hand on your arm. The cameras continue to click relentlessly, capturing this moment from every angle. You manage a tense smile, feeling the pressure of the cameras and the curious eyes of the crowd.
You can't help but voice your confusion quietly, "What are you doing?"
With a gentle firmness, he spins you around so his back faces the paparazzi, effectively shielding you from their intense surveillance. "I saw you struggling out there," he admits, his voice carrying a genuine concern.
You scoff, trying to dismiss the unexpected assistance. "This isn't my first red carpet, you know."
A small smile tugs at his lips, a hint of knowing in his eyes. "I'm aware. I've seen you before. But I've never seen you get this much heat for your book before."
"I guess you've got a point there," you scoff. "Sometimes I wish it didn't get that popular."
Although you speak aloud to him, heat rushes to your face as you slowly begin to realize what he's just admitted to you. But before you can address it, his attention shifts back to the crowd. With an authoritative tone that surprises you, he addresses the photographers, "Give us some space, please."
It's strange. His voice carries a rare combination of authority and kindness, momentarily mesmerizing the photographers. Much to your surprise, they begrudgingly comply, creating a buffer between you and the relentless flashes.
In the brief moment of silence, you find yourself face to face with Sanzu once again, your chest nearly touching his. "Thank you," you say softly, still shocked that the idol from Earthpig has come to your rescue.
"You're welcome," Sanzu replies. Without hesitation, he then takes your hand and leads you away from the chaotic red carpet, guiding you to a quieter corner of the venue. Concern is etched on his face. "Are you alright? Damn, those photographers can really be relentless."
You nod, appreciating his concern. "Thanks to you, I am now."
His smile is reassuring, but your thoughts linger on the touch of his hand, wishing for that warmth again.
As the conversation flows, Sanzu extends an invitation that catches you off guard. "You know, there's an afterparty at my place. Would you be interested in joining?"
You pause for a moment, then grin. "Only if I can bring my friends."
He chuckles. "The more, the merrier."
You hand him your phone, and he smoothly texts himself his address. With a wink, he gives you a playful smile. "I'll see you then."
Just as he walks away, your friends appear, practically squealing with excitement. Nairobi's eyes widen. "This is amazing! I can't believe he was flirting with you."
You laugh, your disbelief mirroring theirs. "I can't believe it either."
Amaya's curiosity can't be contained and she asks, "So, are you gonna... you know, hook up with him?"
You shake your head, a grin playing on your lips. "Of course not, that'd be gross and weird, especially since I've got his number."
Amaya gasps, her eyes fixated on your phone. "Oh my god, I can't believe it."
Nairobi's playfully accusing tone enters the mix. "You bitch! How did you manage that?"
With a shrug, you admit the truth. "Honestly, I have no idea. But if you're in, we can all head to his afterparty later."
Simultaneously, both Nairobi and Amaya exclaim, "Of course!"

The Book of Salvation
The next day you ask Sanzu if you can come over to his house and talk. After he agrees, and apologizes profusely for ditching you yesterday morning, he leads you to one of his long sofas in the main room of his house.
As the two of you settle down, you begin to share with him the idea of creating exclusive merch for the Osaka concert in order to make a big profit his bandmates are looking for.
His eyes light up with interest as you explain the concept to him. And then, without a word, he leans in and kisses you. Your lips meet, and his hand slides behind your head, tangling his fingers into your hair.
"I knew you were a smart woman," he says against your mouth. "You're always full of ideas."
"I can't take all the credit. My friends helped out a lot, too."
You return his kiss eagerly, sliding a hand into his soft hair. When he breaks the kiss, your foreheads touch, and he stares at you intently. "You're so perfect. I'm never letting you go."
A shiver runs down your spine. His tone is not quite a joke, and it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. But when he kisses you again, you melt against him and let yourself fall into his touch.
That night, after Sanzu spends some time on the phone with his bandmates discussing the merch idea, he returns to you with a huge smile on his face.
"They love the idea. We're going to do it," he says.
"Really?" You gasp. "That's amazing!"
He nods, and then leans in to kiss you, cupping your cheeks with his hands. You deepen it, allowing your tongue to explore his mouth.
When Sanzu sits beside you, you straddle his lap, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and running your fingers through his soft hair. He grabs your ass, giving it a squeeze and presses his growing erection into your core. You sigh against his lips and grind your hips down against him.
"I'm so glad I met you," he breathes, pulling away from you and moving to kiss down your neck. "I need you, Y/N. Please say you'll be mine forever."
"Yes," you breathe, tilting your head back. "I'm yours, Sanzu."
"Then I think you're going to need to start calling me by my first name, princess."
You nod. "Yes, Haruchiyo."
"Good girl."
After another deep kiss, Sanzu stands up, lifting you up with him and carrying you bridal-style to his bedroom.
He gently places you on his bed, and climbs over you, kissing down your jaw, and neck, and chest, tugging at your shirt and exposing more of your skin.
He leaves hot, open-mouthed kisses down your stomach, and when he reaches your hips, he looks up at you through his lashes.
"May I?"
"Please," you beg, desperate for his touch.
Sanzu pulls down your skirt, revealing the wet spot in your panties. He groans, and kisses the wet spot, then begins to pull down the fabric.
"Haruchiyo," you breathe.
He takes off your panties, tossing them aside. "So wet," he murmurs, running a finger through your folds.
You squirm, bucking your hips towards him.
"Be patient, princess," he hums before pushing his middle finger inside of you, pumping it slowly.
"More, Haru. Please."
He adds a second finger, and starts to fuck you with them, curling them upwards and rubbing against the sweet spot inside of you.
You moan, throwing your head back and bucking your hips to meet his movements. "Haruchiyo."
"That's right, baby. Say my name."
He leans down, and his tongue swipes up through your folds, his fingers continuing to work their magic. He sucks your clit into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it.
You cry out his name, your legs trembling. "Fuck, I'm so close."
Sanzu's fingers and mouth continue working your body, until you finally feel the familiar tension coil in your stomach, and you release, a loud moan escaping your throat as you cum on his tongue.
When you catch your breath, Sanzu is watching you with a pleased look on his face. "You're so beautiful when you cum, princess."
He moves back up your body, kissing your lips, and then reaching into his pocket and pulling out his wallet. He removes a condom and puts it on.
"I can't wait any longer," he whispers, lining himself up with your entrance.
He thrusts into you, and the two of you groan. Sanzu starts a slow rhythm, holding your hips and pulling them against his, thrusting into you deeply.
"Haru," you moan. "You feel so good. Please don't stop."
"I could fuck you forever."
He increases his pace, pounding into you harder. You can feel the familiar heat building again in your stomach, and you start to move your hips to meet his thrusts.
"Fuck, Y/N. I'm so close."
He wraps his arms around you, bringing your chest flush against his. He buries his face in the crook of your neck, sucking on your skin, and you can feel his hot breath on your neck.
"Cum for me, princess," he grunts.
Your toes curl, and you release for the second time that night, moaning loudly and wrapping your arms tightly around him.
You can feel his cock twitch inside of you, and then he pulls out, tossing the condom aside and releasing his load onto your stomach.
Sanzu falls onto the bed beside you, panting. "I could do that forever," he whispers.
"Me, too," you agree.
He wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you close, placing a soft kiss on your cheek. "I can't believe I'm the one who gets to have you."
"Let's get cleaned up and then go to sleep, okay?" he asks.
After you nod, Sanzu brings you to his bathroom and cleans you up. When the two of you crawl into his bed, you curl up beside him, your head resting on his bare chest, and his arms wrapped around you.
"Goodnight, Y/N."
"Goodnight."

Pairing: Sanzu x Fem!Reader
The Book of Salvation
On Tuesday morning, your phone chimes with a text from Sanzu, asking for you to meet him at the train station. You quickly respond with a simple "Yes," your curiosity growing by the second. Why would he want to meet you at the train station?
As your day begins, dark clouds gather in the sky. It looks like it's going to rain. When you arrive at the train station, you notice the gloomy weather is only getting worse. Thankfully, it's not long before you spot Sanzu, wearing dark glasses and holding a sleek black umbrella.
You can't help but laugh at his attempt at camouflaged style. "If you're trying to be undercover," you tease, "you're not doing the best job."
Sanzu sighs and removes his sunglasses. "The paparazzi is always around," he explains, "I can't chance it."
"Alright, fair enough," you nod, "now can you tell me what we're doing here?"
"You'll see."
Sanzu takes your hand and leads you over to the train platform. The train has arrived, and Sanzu guides you aboard. He hands you a ticket and motions for you to sit down.
"Seriously, where are we going?" you ask.
"It's a surprise."
"Why are you being so secretive?"
"It's more fun that way."
You can't help but chuckle and smile at him. His childish behavior is endearing.
"What, are you trying to win the Most Anticipated Destination Award?" you roll your eyes.
"Nah, I'm just excited to get out of Tokyo," he answers honestly.
"Really? I thought you loved it here," you hum.
"I do. But sometimes you gotta mix it up a bit. It's all about balance, right?"
You nod, but you can't help but wonder why Sanzu would want to go anywhere other than Tokyo.
When the train pulls into the next station, you're surprised to see the sign reads "Osaka."
"Osaka?!" you exclaim. "We're going to Osaka?!"
Sanzu simply nods and helps you out of the train.
"Why are we going to Osaka?"
"Jesus, Y/N, do you hate surprises or something?" he chuckles.
"No, I love surprises," you insist. "I just have no idea where you're taking me..."
Sanzu's lips curl into a mischievous grin. "Don't worry, it'll be fun," he assures. "Come on."
He takes your hand and guides you towards the exit. You follow him off the train, sharing the umbrella to shield yourselves from the rain now.
As you walk together, he leads you to a large building. You both walk around to the back entrance, and Sanzu slips inside, you in tow. He closes his umbrella as you look around, trying to piece together your surroundings.
Inside, you realize that you're in a concert hall, smaller than the one Sanzu played at last weekend. He guides you around and brings you to the stage, where you can't help but wonder aloud, "Are we allowed to be here?"
Sanzu grins and shakes his head. "No, but that's the fun part."
You both settle down on the side of the stage, taking in the view of the empty concert hall. It's pretty amazing. You've never stood on a stage like this before but now you can at least begin to imagine how he feels when he's onstage.
Sanzu then begins to speak, his voice laced with nostalgia. "This is where I had my first concert ever with Earthpig. It's a special place for me, and I want to play here again. But," he sighs, "my bandmates don't want to because it's a small venue, and they won't make a big profit."
"Why are you telling me all of this?"
Sanzu shrugs, avoiding eye contact with you. "I don't know," he mutters. "I guess I wanted to show you a part of me that not a lot of people get to see. And," he looks down at the ground, "I feel like I can trust you."
You smile and place your hand on top of his. "Well, I'm honored that you trusted me enough to share this with me."
You're touched by his vulnerability and the fact that he feels comfortable enough with you to share something like this. However, before your conversation can continue, the sound of a door opening nearby interrupts you both.
A man's voice calls out sternly, saying, "Hey, what are you two doing here?! You can't be in here! You're trespassing!"
Sanzu reacts quickly, pulling you by the arm as he says, "Get up!" Together, you make a fast exit, leaving behind the forgotten umbrella. As you burst outside, you're met with a downpour.
The two of you sprint back to the train station, soaked from head to toe. Luckily, there's a train just about to leave, and you both hop on. As you find your seats, Sanzu says with a smile, "Shit, that was fun. I like having moments like that, with no cameras, just you and me. I finally feel like a real person."
You laugh at his statement, but you understand what he means. Sometimes it's nice to not have every move of yours being watched.
Once the train arrives back in Tokyo, Sanzu leads you out and hails a taxi.
"So, do you want to come back with me, or do you wanna just go home and change?" Sanzu asks as the cab pulls up beside the sidewalk.
You smile. "Can't I just change back at your place?"
"Of course you can," he replies, opening the door for you.
The two of you slip into the car, and the driver starts the engine. You're still a bit wet, but at least you're out of the rain. As you drive through the streets of Tokyo, you can't help but think about the fact that you're about to go back to Sanzu's huge mansion again.
When you arrive, you can't help but gasp. Even though you've been there before, the house is too beautiful. You're amazed at how rich he must be. You enter the house and take off your shoes, placing them on the shoe rack.
You look up at him, smiling. "Seriously, Sanzu, your place is beautiful."
"Thank you," he says with a chuckle. "Now come with me and I'll get you out of those clothes..."
You both rush into his bedroom, shedding your clothes as you go along. Sanzu reaches for a shirt in his wildly oversized closet and tosses it over to you.
"Here, wear this," he offers.
You put on the shirt, and it's rather large on you.
Sanzu walks over and wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you close.
"Wow, Y/N, I think it looks better on you than it ever did on me," he says softly.
"Oh shut up, no it doesn't," you roll your eyes.
Sanzu places his hands on your face and tilts your chin up to look into his eyes. "No, seriously," he whispers, his gaze burning into yours. "You're beautiful."
He leans down and kisses you deeply, and you kiss him back with equal passion. Your hands wander up his muscular chest and arms, and you can't help but let out a soft moan as his tongue explores your mouth.
Sanzu breaks away from the kiss, panting slightly.
"I want you, Y/N," he says, his voice low and husky.
Your body is responding to his touch, and your mind is racing. You swallow hard, unsure of how to respond. It's so frustrating how easily he can make you feel like putty in his hands.
"I want you too," you say, your voice barely audible.
Sanzu smiles and places a soft kiss on your neck. "Good."

Day 0
Just after sliding your feet into your sneakers, you stand up and kiss the photo of your parents by the front door goodbye. "I'll see you guys when I get back," you smile. "I'll tell Takemichi and Hinata you said hi."
You place the photo back down with the rest of the little shrine dedicated to your late parents. Today's finally the day you've been looking forward to for the past two weeks- Grow Tokyo, the weekend-long festival that has just started about one hour ago.
"Shit, I'm late," you whisper to yourself as you grab your keys and run out your front door.
After closing the door behind you, you walk quickly to your car and put it in reverse to pull out of your driveway. For some reason, you find yourself pausing just as you're about to put the car in drive. You look back toward the front door and something inside of you tells you to go back home. But no, you've been so excited to go to this festival, you'll be fine. You'll be with your two closest friends.
When you get to the festival, you meet your friends by the entrance.
"Y/N!" Hinata waves when she spots you. "You're here!"
"And you're late," Takemichi reminds you. "It started well over an hour ago, ya know."
"Okay, so then why didn't you go inside?" you chuckle. "I could've walked around 'til I found you."
"Because I insisted on waiting for you," Hinata smiles softly as she pulls back from your hug. "I mean, you came here alone. I was worried for you."
"I told you that Y/N would be fine. She's tough for a girl," he shrugs casually.
"Oh really? And what exactly is that supposed to mean Hanagaki?" you look at him with narrowed eyes.
"I, uh... that you can handle yourself. You don't need us to watch over you all the time," he replies nervously.
"I'm pretty sure you're the one who'd need to be saved in some kind of horrible situation," you laugh. "Tell me I'm wrong."
Takemichi grinds his teeth as he looks between you and his silent girlfriend for help. "Can we just go inside already?" he then grumbles.
"Yeah," Hinata chuckles. "Let's go."
"I'm starving. Think we can hit the food trucks first?" you ask the two of them.
"I'd love nothing more than to do that," Takemichi nods. "I could eat a horse right now."
"Oh gross," Hinata fake gags.
"Hey, look!" you interrupt as you point toward a black and blue food truck. "There's an egg roll truck over there."
"Ooo, let's check it out!" Hinata beams. "I was craving one earlier today!"
After the three of you approach the food truck, you each buy an egg roll and walk towards a large tent where other people are standing and eating.
"Mmm, this is amazing!" Hinata remarks after taking her first bite.
"Mine's really good too," you agree as you devour nearly half in one bite.
"Same here," Takemichi adds while he attacks his food as well.
Just as you're about to take your next bite, a loud high pitched noise rings in your ears so piercing that all three of you drop your plates to the ground. Your knees give in next and you cover your ears with your hands while your forehead touches the earth below.
It takes about thirty seconds until the noise finally stops. When you sit up, you take your hands off of your ears and hold them in front of you. The noise had been so rough on your poor ears that you had begun to bleed out of them.
"Oh my god, what was that?" Hinata asks you as she wipes the tears from her eyes.
"Were we drugged or something?" you ask as you look over at her.
"Uh, where'd everyone else go?" Takemichi then asks. When you look away from Hinata, you notice that nobody else is around. All the other people who had been at the festival are completely gone. The only ones left are you and your two friends. Not to mention that the whole place looks like it's been abandoned for years.
"Holy shit," you mutter as you stand to your feet. "What just happened."
Looking out across the town, you realize that the place you're now standing in is not the same place you were mere seconds ago. It's a strange world overgrown with vegetation as far as the eye can see.
"Um, where are we?" Hinata asks as she grabs onto Takemichi's arm.
"Tokyo?" he replies with uncertainty.
"It sort of looks like it," you agree. "But I swear it didn't just look like this two minutes ago. Or am I just going insane?"
"No, you're right," Takemichi tells you. "None of these crazy plants were here."
"And there were people. It was so loud before..."
"Before that buzzing, right? You guys heard it too?" you ask them.
"Yeah," they both nod.
"And now it's so quiet," you whisper.
"It's really weird," Hinata whispers back. "I have a bad feeling about this."
"What should we-" Takemichi looks over at you before hearing a loud booming noise from not too far away.
"What the hell was that?" you ask as you whip your head around in the direction of the sound.
"Something's moving over there," Hinata whispers to you.
"Like what?" you ask yourself as you squint across the festival area toward the main road. "That noise sounded like..."
Just again, you hear the sound again.
"Fuck, we need to get out of here!" you shout at your two friends. "That's a fucking gun."
"A gun?!" Hinata gasps, looking more terrified than you've ever seen her before.
"Run, let's go. Run!" you shout.
The three of you run away from the gunshots, only to hear more from yet another direction. As you run around, it seems as though whoever is out there, is starting to corner you in.
Eventually, you find yourselves standing out on the road. But you come to a sudden halt when you see a man in a black coat walking slowly toward you. He's got a shotgun slung over his shoulder which you can see clearly from this distance, even as he reaches for it and aims it in your direction.
"Behind the car!" Takemichi shouts as he grabs both your and Hinata's arms.
The second your body disappears behind the car Takemichi has dragged you toward, you hear a gunshot reverberate against the wall just beside you.
"Shit, what do we do?" he then huffs as he looks at the two of you.
"I don't know! Why are you looking at me like I've done this before!?" you whisper sternly. "Hinata, what do you think we should do?" you then look over at her.
"Split up," she whispers as she looks dead ahead.
"What? No way," Takemichi shakes his head. "I'm not leaving you two in this whacked-out place. We're sticking together!"
"Dammit, Hanagaki," you shake your head. "I think she's right. If we go our separate ways we all have a better chance at survival. We'd be a smaller target and we wouldn't attract as much attention."
"So what are you saying? We go our separate ways forever?" he asks.
"No, that's not what I'm saying at all. But I think for now, we need to be apart. It's not safe."
"Uh, guys," Hinata squeaks as she looks through the window of the car you're all hiding behind. "He's getting closer."
"We meet back here in one hour! You two got that?!" Takemichi looks at you both sternly.
"Yeah," you nod. "Go! I'll distract this asshole."
While your two friends run off in separate directions, you take in a deep breath and prepare yourself for what you're about to do.
You stand up from behind the car and face the predator nearby. Though you can see him grin when you stand, you can't see much more of his face hidden beneath his dark hood. But the second he picks up his shotgun again, your feet take off.
"Shit, shit, shit, why did I agree to this shitty ass plan?!" you grumble to yourself as you begin to run down a small alleyway away from the hooded man.
Just as you reach a corner, you look back and see the man is still following after you. Though before he didn't seem to be in much of a rush, he's starting to get faster. You, on the other hand, are beginning to run out of energy.
You continue to run through the back alleys until you come face to face with a dead end. You curse your stupid plan again but you're quickly pulled from your internal monologue when you hear the sound of a soda can being squished behind you.
With a gasp, you spin around and see the armed man standing a mere ten feet away from you.
"Who the hell are you?!" you shout at him. "What the fuck do you want from me?!"
The man doesn't answer as he gets closer to you. He slings his gun back around his shoulder and reaches into his coat pocket.
"Don't even think about trying anything on me, you sicko! I'll kick you in the balls so hard it'll make your head spin!" you shout as you watch the man pull his hand out of his pocket. The unmistakable shine of a pocket knife in his grip makes your heart fall into your stomach.
This is it.
The end.
You're dead.

Pairing: Sanzu x Fem!Reader
The Book of Salvation
The next weekend, your phone begins to ring just after midnight. You reach for it and answer with a tired voice.
"Y/N?" Sanzu's voice replies through the phone. "Did I wake you up?"
"No," you shake your head. "I've been up, working on the plot for my next book."
There's a brief pause after that before Sanzu adds, "Would you mind some company?" He continues to explain that he's just left the drummer's house and needs to vent.
A smile grows on your lips as you agree. "Of course. I'll send you my address."
"Thanks, Y/N. I'll see you in a bit," he replies before hanging up.
A short while later, a knock at the door pulls you from your work. You open it to find Sanzu standing there, his expression drained. Without a word, he pulls you into a tight hug, catching you off guard. You return the embrace, concern in your eyes as you ask if he's okay.
"I'm just happy to see you," he sighs.
As you let him inside, he begins to explain his frustration with his bandmates. He tells you that he had brought up the idea of returning to Osaka for a concert and they immediately shot him down. Apparently, they don't want to go there because they think they'll lose money from the small venue.
Sanzu scoffs at the thought, anger lacing his voice as he adds, "But what the fuck does it matter when we've got all the money in the damn world?"
"Sanzu..." you mutter, watching his jaw tense and relax. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah," he brushes it off, a heavy sigh leaving his lips. "I just... I just don't get why they don't appreciate where they came from, you know?"
You nod in understanding. "Yeah, I know what you mean."
"Sorry to bother you with this, Y/N," he shakes his head, a weak smile on his lips. "It's just that I didn't know who else to talk to about this and I figured that since we went there together... Well, I just wanted someone to understand, I guess."
"It's okay," you reassure him. "I'm glad you decided to talk to me."
"Thanks," he smiles. "Can we just watch a movie or something?"
"Sure," you agree. "I've got some snacks, too."
"Fuck yes," Sanzu grins, following you into the living room.
You pick a random comedy to watch and Sanzu flops down onto the couch beside you. As the movie begins, Sanzu stretches his arms above his head, letting one of them fall behind you.
As the movie plays, you can feel the stress of the week melt away, the warmth of the man beside you making you sleepy. After a while, your head leans against his shoulder, your eyes drifting closed.
When the movie ends, Sanzu looks down at you, a soft smile forming on his lips. Carefully, he shifts so he can scoop you up into his arms. You stir, but don't wake up, instead leaning your head into his chest. He carries you to your bedroom, gently laying you onto the bed.
As Sanzu tucks you in, your hand reaches out to him. He blinks, looking at your drowsy expression.
"Stay," you murmur.
With a quiet sigh, Sanzu sits on the edge of the bed, watching your eyes slowly drift closed again. His own eyes close for a moment as he breathes out, his shoulders relaxing. Then, he pulls his shirt off and crawls under the covers, wrapping an arm around you. He presses a gentle kiss to the top of your head, murmuring, "Good night, Y/N."
You smile and cuddle closer to him, sleep coming easily as you enjoy his warmth.
The next morning, you wake to find Sanzu's arm still draped over you. You shift, turning over to face him. "Morning, Y/N," he says with a grin. "Sleep well?"
"Yeah," you nod. "Did you?"
"Yeah," Sanzu nods, his arm moving to stroke your cheek.
"What time is it?" you yawn.
"Nearly ten," he replies.
"Damn, I slept a lot," you mumble, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
"Well, I think we both needed the rest," Sanzu shrugs.
"True," you sigh, shifting a little closer to him. "But it was worth it."
"Definitely," Sanzu nods, his nose brushing yours. You chuckle, enjoying the closeness of the moment.
"Do you have anything to do today?" Sanzu asks.
"Not really," you shrug. "Why?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out," Sanzu admits. "If not, that's cool."
"No, I'd love to hang out with you," you nod, sitting up. "Any ideas?"
"Let's just see where the day takes us," Sanzu shrugs, following suit.
"Alright," you smile. "First, I need coffee."
"Agreed," Sanzu chuckles, rising to his feet.

"And then what?" Nairobi asks after she and Amaya finish listening to your story.
"Well, ten minutes later he got a phone call, said it was really important, and left," you shrug.
"Aw, I'm sorry, Y/N," Amaya sighs. "That really sucks."
"It's okay," you shake your head. "At least it wasn't like we just hooked up and he left. It probably was really important."
"I can't believe his bandmates are being such dicks about going to Osaka, either. What the hell is their problem anyway?" Nairobi grumbles.
"It's not like it would be a huge loss," Amaya adds.
"God, how much is their net worth anyway?" you chime in.
"Ooo," Amaya gasps. "Let me look!"
Amaya, always resourceful, quickly pulls out her phone and starts searching. After a moment, she gasps in disbelief. "Guys, you won't believe this. Sanzu's net worth is 35 billion yen."
Nairobi's jaw drops at the staggering number. "Holy shit," she exclaims. "How much money could they possibly lose from Osaka?"
You shake your head. "Probably nothing significant."
Amaya's eyes light up with an idea. "Maybe they just need something to convince them to go."
Curiosity piqued, you ask, "Like what?"
Amaya grins mischievously. "We could create exclusive merch to be sold only at the Osaka concert."
Nairobi's face lights up with excitement. "That's an amazing idea! And we could all promote it on social media too."
"Yeah!" Amaya nods enthusiastically.
"Oh, but I don't have a website," you shake your head.
"I can help with that," Amaya waves it off.
"Okay, so I'm gonna guess that's a yes for the merch," Nairobi concludes, her tone amused.
"Hell yeah," Amaya replies. "What are we thinking? A t-shirt?"
"T-shirts and hoodies would be a good start," Nairobi agrees.
"Do you think you could draw something like that?" you ask Amaya.
"Definitely! You just run it by Sanzu the next time you see him and we'll get started on the designs!"
