Steven universe AU, a lighter au where steven was born with his eyes being pink and diamond shaped.

The cluster was meant to emerge before, when Steven was just three, so the Crystal gems had to face it alone, and when Peridot arrived, she found Steven, being just a baby.

The diamonds were contacted, and both Blue and Yellow went on Earth, and found both Greg and Steven, while the Crystal Gems were taking care of the cluster, and Greg, having basically no idea of what was happening, got separated from Steven and took to the zoo.

In this AU, White Diamond was the most attached to Pink, and she knows much about both her and sometimes she even listened to her rambling about humans, and she, when she went into Steven's mind, understood that he wasnt pink diamond, but a blabbering underveloped human with too.many necessities, but still had the diamond gem.

So she put Steven into the care of selected Gems such as the Embers, that are basically the only Gems meant to know things about humans as they were created as nurses for the zoo's humans, in fact, they are the youngest gems.

A pearl that was programmed especially for his human necessities.

So Steven was raised by the gems on Homeworld, he considers family the Diamonds and his Pearl.

The diamonds, other than White, are trying to understand Pink's actions.

In the mean while, the Crystal Gems believe Greg and Steven are dead, Greg thinks Steven is Dead, Steven knows nothing about what a dad is.

Yay.

But one day, Steven, on his palanquin, goes on Earth, as he learns more about the previous pink diamond, he is taught that he is a creation of Pink Diamond, but he doesnt have the concept of son.

Its a complicated story, make questions, as many as you can because my story writing skills are much less than what i like to say.

pink diamond is a character i am constantly thinking about and turning over and over in my mind. i wish we got more of her. i think the depth of her character was greatly overshadowed by the popular bad faith interpretations of her character present by the end of su future.

One more Moonstone redesign to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the show this year!

I wanted to clean up the details and the general style I use for him to make something more in line with the show. I always kind of struggled with his hair, but I think I have the hang of it this time. I want it to look kind of like a comet.

In the main series, Moonstone would oversee a White Diamond colony that detains wayward gems, develops new tech and scouts potential locations for new colonies. The rejuvenator was developed at his colony.

In SU future, his colony ceases normal operation and opens as a place of general residence for any gems who need it. He visits earth often and enjoys exploring snowy mountains.

Similar to White Diamond, he can telepathically connect to other gems and alter the data within, be it remotely controlling them or erasing/resetting them altogether.

He was created as a gift from Pink to White while she was campaigning for her own colony, with the intention that more would be produced after Earth was completed. This would never come to pass, so he is currently the only one in existence as the methods used to create Moonstones died with Pink.

How would Steven act with another diamond hybrid?

//Depends on the hybrid and their personality!

//If it’s a yellow diamond hybrid that acts like Yellow would (raised on Homeworld), he’d have a passive aggressive relationship with them. If it’s a hybrid that was raised on Earth, he’d immediately start being a nuisance every chance he gets.

//If it’s a blue diamond hybrid raised on Homeworld, or raised on Earth, he’d be friends with them whichever way it goes; though depending on that hybrid’s personality he’s either going to tease them constantly, or “encourage” them to follow his every word and whim. Or be like that one annoying older sibling who won’t leave you alone (but you know they care about you)

//Any Pink Diamond hybrid usually immediately gets bullied, he believes he is the only and the best pink diamond cut there is out there. Though if that pink diamond hybrid is taller and stronger than him (think kenji-benji’s old Pink Diamond AU, if anyone knows of it!) he’ll be a little intimidated, but pretends not to be and still tries to be mean himself. After all, he’s the more superior diamond! But also, if it’s a pink diamond hybrid like in the Perfect Steven AU or Homeworld Steven AU, he’d at least try to be friends with them. (My Steven canonically looks up to Azul’s Perfect, and feels like an older sibling figure to Homeworld Steven)

//White diamond hybrids…. He’d likely avoid interacting with them at all if possible. If it’s a Steven like @/thechekhov’s Steven, and that Steven actively attempted to befriend him, he might warm up to them slowly, but for the most part, just the sight of White’s gem, if visible on any Steven, will cause him to shut down and be scared (for now). Although he would be comfortable around my own take of White Diamond Steven, were they to meet.
