From the orange of October,

my mind always associates,

months with colors and numbers.

* I see November as nine, idk why. Do you know in the Roman calander there were only ten months and November was the ninth (I recently discovered this) and, the colours, I think it's just how my mind works. And, I always visualise people constructing wooden houses in November, idk why. I remember, I had a tables book and on the back page of the book, every month was written with different calligraphy, colors and pictures. Those pictures are still fresh in my mind. I believe the source of my imagination about months and associating them with numbers, colors and people comes from there. Idk... Imagine.. it's November, the ninth and the skies are see green and people are constructing wooden houses,and also there is a river flowing nearby. There is different world in my mind. Lol.

A Brief Guide of the GP Barber Babies

For those of you who love the Barber Babies in my Growing Pains Series like I do, I figured I would share how I envision them. I'm sure many of you have already seen this, but in case you haven't, here we go!

By the way, this is also a quick guide to their ages. I have to make a couple of tweaks to certain stories, but for future reference, Bianca (BiBi) is three years older than Katrina (KitCat), and six years older than Aurora (Rory/RoRo) and A.J. There is also a three year age gap between KitCat and the twins.

First up, is little Bianca around the age of 3-5 years old. This is sort of how I imagine her in some of her little one-off stories before the other kids came into the mix.

And then we have all the little ones just slightly aged up, with the twins RoRo and A.J. being somewhere in the toddler stage. Which would put BiBi at approximately 8 or 9, and KitCat around 5 or 6 respectively.

And here they are the way I've imagined them as teenagers, with the twins being approximately 14, give or take a year depending on the story. That places BiBi around 19 or 20, and KitCat at about 16 or 17.

we cry "the innocent women and children" to appeal to the masses, to try and force their sympathy, but the men and boys are innocent too.

I have seen sons crying out for their mothers, their fathers, their siblings. I have seen them break down at the loss of their families. I have seen them cling to their dead and grieve.

I have seen fathers cradle their dead children, seen them kiss their faces and hold their little hands. I have seen them faint with grief when asked to identify the dead. I have seen them carry their sons and daughters. I have seen them fasting to provide what little they can for their families.

I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.

I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.

the men are innocent too. the men and boys are being hurt and killed too. the men and boys are grieving too. the men and boys are scared too. the men and boys are fighting to save their people too. the men and boys deserve to be fought for too.

before it was like, "what a horrifying thing to do to a human being! to take away their autonomy and privacy, all for the sake of profits! to create fake scenarios for them to react to, just to retain viewership! to ruin their happiness just so some corporate entity could harvest money from their very humanity! how could anyone do something so evil?"

and now it's like, "ah, yeah. this is still deeply fucked up, but it's pretty much what every influencer has been doing to their kids for a decade now. probably bad that we've normalized this experience"
