Fuzzy's Commissions to Reduce Medical Debt!
I have wanted to do something like this for a while. I can't do much on my own, but maybe my art will help get some people out of a hole. After the commission sheets I will have more info and links.

NO
Robots/Vehicles

Anything I don't/can't do
Complex Backgrounds
How it Works
1. Message me so we can discuss exactly what you want and if I can do it.
2. Once we agree on the subject and price, donate through my Tiltify campaign for RIP Medical Debt.
3. Once the donation is completed, I will put you on the list and start working as soon as I can.
4. I will try and send a WIP shot to make sure I am going in the right direction. I'll send you your art as soon as I finish it. Please keep in mind I have a full time job and a family. Art is something I do for fun. I will get exactly $0 of what you donate. If you are looking for a quick turn around or a piece where you can do massive edits, then I am not the artist for you. This is for charity. Please keep that in mind.
If you have any questions, just message me!
Now... for the important stuff! LINKS!
Tiltify Link. Tiltify is mainly used by streamers to raise money for charity. I chose Tiltify because they are trusted by many people to properly get the donations to the charities and I don't have to deal with any of the money handling.
My goal is to raise $100 for RIP Medical Debt. RIP Medical Debt is a charity that buys medical debt for pennies on the dollar and forgives it. They have been around for a while and I trust them. For every $100 they forgive $100000 of debt.
Here is a link to see my creative pursuits
Here is my Art Fight page to see more examples of my work.

Canonseeker Update
Current Twitter alt: Onemorefanofshows (@camadnijuve)
Current Tumblr alts: iamafanofcartoons; onesheeptwosheepandachicken
Current YouTube usernames: Alicia Garske; Vernon Dokon
Current Discord name: dextercalliem#6439
DO NOT INTERACT. Block on sight and move on. This post is to raise awareness, not encourage harassment.
Canonseeker/Answerseeker is a known toxic member of the RWBY fandom. He has been banned/muted across Reddit, YouTube and Discord and hides in multiple accounts/usernames across Tumblr and Twitter as well, stalking blogs and harassing content creators. He will often use these accounts to deceive, usually pretending to be new to the fandom - in order to gain trust with unaware members of the community. You can read this doc for more info about his behavior.
His constant dummy accounts and attempts to evade bans and deceive other fans makes him hard to find, which is why myself and a group of others personally affected by his harassment have found his various alts across the internet and compiled them here.
If you are a content creator/artist, be very careful as he will try to act nice with you in the hopes of buying commissioned art, which he is known to not be able to pay for. If you create RWBY content on YouTube, mute him from your channel as he may act positive at first but will eventually start arguments and comment wars in your comment section, ruining your video's experience for everyone else. He also may DM you on Discord pretending to be someone else, often seeking pity and lying about being wrongfully banned from other servers, being harassed/doxxed, or someone "impersonating" him. Do not believe his fake narratives.
Be careful when dealing with him; he is a known liar and will use kind and encouraging words simply to help him gain favour with others to keep his new dummy account in good graces, but will turn against you once you call his bluff. Again, DO NOT INTERACT with him; just block him and make sure others know about his aliases.
Every time Canonseeker changes his alias, I will post a new update, along with a motivational quote for him in hopes that he will change his ways.
“When you see a good person, think of becoming like her/him. When you see someone not so good, reflect on your own weak points.” ― Confucius

heyy :) what i'm about to ask is a bit controversial but is there any way i can crack MCL? i really love the game but the AP and money system is so whack that every time i start it frustrates me and i have to drop it :/ and i can't even pay because i am from a third world country and unfortunately we're unable to have an international card lol.
anyways if there's any way i can play without APs i would really appreciate it :)
Dang it's really a bummer that it's impossible to buy APs from some places because of card issues I didn't know :(
Honestly, I don't think there's any way to "hack" the games, or at least I'm not aware of any. In the past many people used VPNs to pay less, it's impossible/more complicated to do it now and it wouldn't solve your problem anyway since you can't access the bank at all.
I think the only possible way to play in a less frustrating way for you is to cumulate all the APs and gold you can by logging in every day and wait for the 1AP promotions to play by keeping an eye on Beemoov's instagram. A single episode in latest years is worth around 1000 APs without the promotion meaning 50 days of continued logins, or 25 days with the promotion. If you own Rosalya's ring from HSL it gives you 1AP extra every day, which isn't that much but in a year it makes for 365 extra free APs.
Idk if you're an artist/writer, but if you are another option could be to offer commissions in the fandom and as payment ask people to login into your account (obviously use temporary passwords) and buy APs for you. I don't think this is strictly illegal so it could be something to consider, but of course you should trust enough the person not to run off with your account!

Thank you for pointing out about the complaints that’s been around with the recent audio. Ngl, I too felt like some people were being self entitled and this is not the first time this has happened. 💀
Yeah, I've blocked a few blogs that generally I super don't vibe with, but unfortunately tumblr sucks so their posts still show in the tags for me :/ and like... idk there's just some people in the fandom where I see the things they say and I'm like "it's sooooo obvious you didn't actually pay attention to anything in the game and just want it all to be the game in your head and are getting upset when it's not."
I see it especially with the way people talk about Ian (especially people who seem to think he took Sunshine for granted, despite everything in the Afterlife section proving otherwise). Like they're just... idk playing an entirely different game I guess? And then getting mad about the real game? Idk how to explain it.
But yeah that's why Moon and I aren't in the patreon discord. Me especially, I'm too fighty and aggressive sometimes and I know I couldn't read the ice cold takes of some of the more active fandom members without starting an argument. I just about keep it together when I see their dumbass posts in the sdj tag, in a discord server... oof.
But yeah, there's like... a specific brand of fans in the tag who clearly feel like they should get a say in how the game goes. Which, no. That's not how it works. Artists create things and you say thank you and either engage with it or move on if it's not for you. If you're not the one giving them their full paycheque then you're not entitled to tell them how to do their work.
I think like... as a freelance content creator (I know erotica and sex work are different from game creation, but still) I know how draining and awful it feels when people who aren't buying custom content try to tell you how to do your work or complain about the things you make. As if you don't have an entire audience and can't cater to all of them all the time. I had the same annoyance when they were pressured to change all of Bo's breeding stuff to seeding instead. They were forced to remove authenticity from a character because people couldn't handle something not catering perfectly to their individual comfort.
Anyway, every time people complain like that, I just like... idk I remember that when it comes to freelancers and artists, each individual member of the audience seems to think they're the person's boss. I wish more people thought about this sort of art the way they might think about... pottery, for example. If you found someone who makes mugs, and you loved everything about the mugs except for the handles, would you really demand that they change the handles on all the mugs they sell? Or would that be a dick move? I think everyone knows the answer to that, but they can't seem to apply that to non-commissioned digital art (games/writing/etc.).

Hi! Is it okay if I can request a positivity post for people who struggle with ptsd? ;-; I keep having flashbacks and I am constantly dealing with multiple triggers 24/7 for the last few months now and I’m so scared that I’ll never get better. I only get a few hours of sleep every night because I’m so anxious and on “high alert” all the time, I’m jolting awake gasping and then I can’t fall back asleep. I’m shaking everyday because my brain is always like “look out for the danger!” And I’m unfortunately in a position where I am unable to avoid my multiple triggers (certain clothes, certain colors), and the person who gave me this ptsd is someone I accidentally see online at least once a week, even though I’ve blocked them, they are a very popular fandom blog and they frequently buy commissions of themself… like maybe 15 to 20 commissions per month from all different kinds of artists. So I’m always seeing my abuser’s commissions, visual images of them floating around everywhere I go :( I tried taking time off of tumblr for 8 months, but my ptsd didn’t improve, I just felt lonely and I really missed uploading my own artwork ;-; but now I’ve stopped drawing entirely because I don’t find joy in drawing anymore.
I am surrounded by these reminders of what happened to me, and my only hope is to someday reclaim the triggers and to see them as normal things again, but I don’t know if that’s possible when I feel so incredibly broken and I see my abuser so often. I’ve never had to deal with this kind of thing before. I wish someone would sit with me and tell me everything will be okay, even if it might not be true. I went through all of it completely alone for a full year, and now I feel so numb to anything around me. Going to movies, restaurants, concerts, all of it feels so empty to me. I’m sorry for the vent, you don’t have to reply to this if you don’t want to ;-;
hi there, sweetheart !! first off, i'm so sorry that you're struggling so hard right now, and that you can't seem to escape anything that's making life so much harder. i have never personally dealt with ptsd in that sense, but i do have an ample amount of trauma, and you have my every sympathy.
i'm going to split your ask up into a few parts, if that's okay. i completely understand the fear of never getting better. dealing with so much mental anguish for so long is a trauma in of itself, and i'm so sorry. please know that there is a "better" for everyone. everyone's looks different, and comparing yourself to others who recovered quicker, or more easily won't help - because your situations are always going to be different. but there /is/ a better for you, and anybody else reading this. it'll take time, and will happen slowly, but you'll get there. i also really struggle with sleep, because of intense anxiety / nightmares. there are a number of OTC medications that you can try, have you? i know it sounds silly, if you're struggling so much, but sometimes simple answers help the most. i'm not sure where you are, but if you're in europe, you can order melatonin from the us, and of course in the us it is OTC. there's also a number of medicated syrups (nytol / night nurse / etc). melatonin can occasionally create nightmares, so please be sure to start on a tiny dose. if you have already tried these, speaking to a doctor may really help. i completely understand not wanting to bring up your ptsd, but there are ways to build up to it - including merely mentioning sleep issues first, and building a rapport with the doctor over a few weeks / months. sleep is so key, and getting something that helps you get rest will be instrumental !!
i'm so sorry your abuser is so popular. that's such a uniquely awful pain that i cannot even begin to imagine. is it possible for you to blog them, and the people creating art of them? it'd probably take a while, and be a bit taxing at first, but eventually you may see that your dash has less and less of them. i understand losing joy in the things that you love. it'll take a while to find the joy again, but this is something i have also experienced, and things will make you happy again. i don't feel equipped to advise on managing triggers surrounding things you love. but it may be worth trying to sketch something small and unrelated to fandom. is there a pretty tree you can see from your window? a cool house down the street? a cat lounging around? perhaps taking art away from the online space and the person who hurt you may make it feel more "yours" again. i'm so sorry that you've been going at this alone. no one ever deserves that. i don't know you, but i'm sitting with you right now, telling you it's going to be okay. there is more to life than this pain you're feeling right now, and there always will be. you will find joy in the things you loved again. you will be able to exist without reminders from your abuser, or if they happen, you will be equipped to deal with that. you will build a network of people to lean on, and that love you, and will be there for you. you deserve more than the hand you were dealt, and i hope you get that someday. emotional numbness is perhaps one of the most taxing things to deal with, but please know that this grey won't last forever. colour will bloom into your life again. there is more than this, and you deserve more than this. i am here with you, and you'll get through this.

It’s not like I have much of an audience regardless but my miraculous sideblog does have the most followers and my miraculous fanart does get the most attention. From a personal organizational standpoint it’s nice to have that partition from all my other reblogs but I kinda put myself in a corner because not only am I stuck with the separate blog that doesn’t allow diverse content, not even multi fandom, but also I chose a really generic url with no identifying features so I feel like people wouldn’t remember/recognize me. That my art style isn’t super consistent doesn’t help? Sometimes I feel like the privacy and anonymity afforded by using many different names is nice but when I start to think of my future and how I want to be able to sustain myself by selling my art it does my head in. every artist with dreams of independent success who gets their start in fandom (not that I’ve gotten much of a start at all) goes through that struggle and fear that no one will care about their original work; that is, that no one will like their work for its own merits. I need to make a name that can be a brand. I made the new art only blog and signature for that purpose but even then I remember how on tumblr likes and follows come only from the main blog. The other thing is how I think some drawings are not “good enough” for the Art Blog and I want to post them separately so I can have an extra quality filter. I guess “I’m a little attached to it after all these years” is not really a good reason against changing my main url (genuinely never thought of doing that until just now so I might do that)? I mean I don’t even hardly have social connections on main so it wouldn’t be a big deal.
Anyway lately i feel like I want to open commissions but I think that no one would buy. I know I’d probably have to underprice by a lot to start but even when I said for free I didn’t get many requests in my askbox so.. I used to think I should wait to hit a certain follower count like say 1000, or until I reliably get over a certain number of notes (Idek what makes sense, I rarely get over 200) before trying but I have no clue when I can hit those metrics and besides that seems silly when I remember I won’t lose anything by opening comms even if no one is interested now.
I just never really understood how to “do social media” it’s exhausting to try and I know I should but it’s frustrating and confusing. I know a lot of it is luck too, but I can’t help feeling like I’m always doing something wrong, or everyone else knows something I don’t.
Idk.. someone with more experience..

Thoughts about Eddie in the "Future"
Imagine Eddie didn't actual die, he just, popped into the future, our future in this AU world of ours (to/with you). He'd be living his best life because:
Warning: this is so long it's a crime. But you won't be sorry. All the happy thoughts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dnd:
I mean, his mind would be blown at all the new wonders added to Dnd, being able to play with people anywhere in the world now. Creating online Maps and the detail of the character building sheets? He'd be spending hours using them to build characters he probably won't even use to play because he created like 40 of them. The level of detail in custom DM/GM screens? pffft He'd lose it. Not to mention all the world building tools online now, His campaigns would be epic.
And He'd probably stream his campaigns, become internet famous.
He could create or order props, and costumes to be extra dramatic as he sat behind his DM screen or webcam.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fandoms:
He would sit, nearly wiggling in his seat with excitement, watching the Lord of The Rings trilogy. You'd have to get him the extended version. He'd spend all his money buying replicas of weapons and accessories. He'd get you Arwen's necklace, but we won't go there right now.
Eddie would be one of those fans who are SUPER picky about the Hobbit movies and the TV series. But at the same time he'd consume them like water while he complains about, loving and hating them at the same time. Crying about Tauriel and Kili because you know he would. Just sitting there sniffling, "I'm not crying, you are."
Just movies and series in general, there would be so much to get him into, and you would be watching his reactions more than the actual media. Star wars, GOT, Hotd, Vikings, The Matrix, Harry Potter (he'd want his letter so bad and would swear it's real), Dune, Narnia (he bought a wardrobe and is hoping one day his kids will find the door), you get my point by now.
...but Eddie wanting to be Jack Sparrow for Halloween after watching Pirates of the Caribbean.
He'd try and go to every Con that he could. He's cosplay, yes he would. He would want matching costumes. He would want the 3 days passes. He would buy flight tickets to get to certain Cons, he would go broke going to them. There would be that weird moment when he meets Joseph because our world is a different universe.
Joseph would be just quaking, they'd take pictures together, you'd be living your best life. No one knows it's actually Eddie, so Joseph just thinks he's an impressive look-alike.
He'd be reading smut and fluff about his favorites ships and characters at night when he can't sleep. He could be reading all of that with you. Digging through the vast gallery of amazing fanart with you. You could show him your hoard.
He'd collect Funkos and limit edition things from all the fandoms he loves. He would support Etsy artists by commissioning custom stuff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gaming:
Don't get me started on games. Eddie would be the biggest Elderscrolls buff, He'd play Daggerfall when most people complain it's outdated because he grew up on old school games. Morrowind would probably be his favorite, though. I can see him favoring Dunmer. When he plays Skyrim for the first time, he'll want to side with the Stormcloaks due to the opening scene and then find out they're kinda terrible and be like "fuck that" but he wouldn't want to join the imperials either because he doesn't want to offer any support to the Thalmore. Which means Eddie hunts down Mods, so he doesn't have to pick a side, and he can give the Thalmor hell.
In Skyrim, he'd also be joining the Thieve's Guild and the Dark Brotherhood because no matter how sweet our boy is, "WE KNOW" is too tempting not too and he'd be a completionist.
He'd be a Bethsda fanboy, excited about Starfield, lost in Fallout binge playing all the series of Bethesda games.
He'd be trying to build places from his Dnd campaigns and Hawkins in Minecraft, Valheim, and any other builder he could. He would recreate what he was homesick for In the Sims.
Let's be honest, no matter how you feel about it, he'd probably give Homestuck a try.
He'd play horror games and be scared out of his wits, probably holding you for the emotional support as he tries things like: The Forest (he'd try to build the two towers), Outlast, Slender, Amnesia, and you would have the best time ever playing Phasmophobia with him.
He'd be stuck on the Witcher, talk your ear off about it, then he'd want the books, and then he'd watch the show until he'd memorized all the lines.
Dragon age? Holy mother of Andraste, he would play the hell out of that series. Romance every character he could. He'd be a fan who was torn about "those" characters (Anders, Solas, Blackwall, Connor...looking at you lot) Both mad at them and still fond of them, it's a grey blurry blob of an area.
He'd be a Mass Effect kind of person too. He'd have fun in GTA. Adore Kingdom Come Deliverance, He'd have a breakdown playing the Red Dead Redemption series, the Stanley parable would have him in stitches as he does everything he isn't supposed to do, and you'd have the best time playing Goat Simulator.
Eddie would be a Pokemon player, and He'd play Guitar Hero just because.
He'd have a hoard of Mobile games, and ya'll.....he'd probably dabble in Otome's secretly loving them and then playing the cringe ones for giggles.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Music:
He might not like new music, but there would be some select bands he loves, and he would be a die hard fan. He would consume the old music and bands still, and go to as many concerts as possible.
His Spotify account would be a hot, unorganized mess of playlists. He'd follow all the start-up metal musicians on Spotify, TikTok, and YouTube.
He would be one of them. He would go viral in no time flat because Eddie Munson, and people wouldn't know it was actually Eddie. They'd just think Joseph got into cosplay and started his own band as Eddie, and somehow keeps up the American accent every single time.
Then people realize he's not Joseph eventually, but again think it's just an impressive look alike.
Eddie hoards guitars, get them signed as much as he can, he'd want all the up-to-date equipment. Probably have a studio in his man cave somewhere.
Eventually his band would probably start going on tour, he'd be actually famous, rocking with bands he grew up with and probably out somewhere being Joseph's twinsy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bonus:
He'd get more tats, probably of his new obsessions.
Eddie would be a foodie. He'd want to convert his own van to try van life, at least for a while. His tour buss would be a Schoolie tiny home.
He'd fuse 80s fashion and new fashion and be a complete icon, even though it's mostly comfy casual.
He'd be homesick constantly watching stranger things, and then befriending the cast of the show to try and fill the void a little.
Eddie would watch ST from season one and be amazed at just what everyone went through, the sides of things he never got to see. Our sweet boy would probably even feel bad for Jason a tiny bit. Be cheering his friends on whenever a fight scene popped up.
He's watch himself in that final episode and be crying with you for many reasons.
Eddie would try to get into shifting just to spent time with his friends again. But he wouldn't regret his new life at all, it's purely just a bit of homesickness.
We won't talk about the love stores and what he finds in them.
The cannabis and how it's legal in a lot of places. All the new strains, hybrids, oils, candies, edibles, are on a whole new level now. Weed lounges, he'd freak out seeing his first dispensary.
He'd try vaping, you know he would.
He'd be an obnoxious gif user, and it would be the best thing ever.
Eddie would abuse video chat and rarely just text or call. He wants to see your face and have his face in your face via screen all day.
He could get his diploma <3, and you could help him do it.
He'd know what it felt like to be adored, because almost everyone would. It'd probably be overwhelming.
Eddie would probably get all kinds of special treatment, lol
Imagine him arguing with those people who would try and shame him for "cosplaying" or thinking he had plastic surgery to look like Joseph. Just rage shouting, "I am Eddie Munson!" or "It's not surgery!" in the same tone as this is music.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This could go on forever, so.... I'm going to stop. Now. I just wanted to dream and invite you all to dream with me.

writing resources masterlist.
i have to admit. my first reason for doing this was to spite my brain because it wouldn’t write. so, instead, i made this.
so here. 160+ links. gathered from a million questionable google searches, and some more crawling through mobile chrome tabs for 11 hours. anyways, enjoy!
where to write!
some popular platforms:
google docs is my choice for writing. it’s free, auto saves, you can access your stuff on mobile, pc, tablet, etc., and great for multi person collabs + link sharing. but, you need internet to use it, and for big documents (upwards of 55k words) it takes a while to load on pc, and editing on mobile is damn near impossible.
scrivener is great too, and has the binder, which is great for organizing stuff. however, the mac version is way, way ahead of the pc in terms of updated versions. i mean, the pc version is still useable. and, it’s pretty expensive at $45 usd.
microsoft word is really popular, and used pretty much everywhere. there’s templates and you can save documents in different formats, and compatible with other microsoft office programs too. it’s also a bit complicated at the start, but tbh most software is gonna be like that. sort of in the same boat as scrivener, as in, it costs money. usually a subscription, but if you decide to buy it flat out, it’s even more pricy, but def worth it imo.
other writing platforms:
zenwriter 3 for windows and mac - $17.50 usd
focuswriter - free
libreoffice - free
credit to @scribeofred for help with this. she has an amazing writing blog that’s super helpful, so definitely check it out! and she’s a professional editor, so it’s coming from someone who knows what they’re doing.
writing by hand is great too. some people can focus better that way, or, if you have a drawing tablet, you can write get the feeling of writing, and have it digitally too.
of course, you could just type into your notes app, or ao3, or a tumblr draft post, but let’s not-
focusing!
spotify, youtube premium, and tidal are all great for listening to music. all of them, except for the free version of spotify, have a subscription.
but maybe music isn’t your thing! here’s some more stuff:
rainforme is a rain/thunder player with adjustable volume
coffitivity for café ambience
ambient mixer has a ton of different ambience, and even lets you create your own.
noisli has playlists for different situations and has a built in timer and editor.
asoftmurmur lets you make your own mixes with their own, generally nature-focused sounds.
tabletopaudio with a focus on fantasy/noir ambience
mynoise has a lot of variety in sounds, including a...black hole
forest is an app/extension that grows a forest, for however long you manage to stay off of blacklisted sites, and dies when you revisit them. good for studying or a distraction-free writing experience (if you’ve got the restraint for it), but if you need resources on hand to write, this might not be good for you.
moodboards!
wanna make a moodboard? lit! here’s some ways to get your images.
unsplash (my journalism teacher, out of all the people recommended it to us. regardless, it’s a great way to source copyright free and not-stolen images.)
canva is much the same with no copyright issues, and actually lets you design the board on the site.
adobe spark is also good and free.
now. pinterest. don’t get me wrong, it’s great for finding images. but it’s full of stolen images and all. so, maybe don’t source your stuff from there.
character development!
behind the name name generator for different ethnicities, includes other character info like physical stats, language, age, blood type, cause of death, etc.
16personalities personality test
character flaws
how to create a character profile + worksheet below
big-ass character sheet (that’s the name) for making a wildly detailed overview of your character.
the most epic character chart ever (again, the name), a 12 page chart for your character.
character archetypes
character questionnaire
a super in-depth questionnaire for all stages of your character’s life
character development
creating a look for your character!
so maybe you’re not great at drawing. that’s okay!
first off, there’s a ton of amazing, talented artists here, that you can commission to get a picture of your character done. i’d definitely point you towards them first, because you help support them, and you also get some gorgeous art too!
but if you don’t have the funds for that right now, here’s some generators, to have one regardless.
picrew’s really popular, so here’s some generators i found, with social media linked for credit:
sky: children of light character maker (i didn’t see any social media, just a link to the game’s terms of service) aka the one i use in my tumblr prof pic
among us character creator (@NetherHeartz on twitter)
icon maker (@lullindo on twitter/instagram)
another icon maker (tumblr)
character maker (tumblr, twitter, instagram)
girl maker (tumblr)
fantasy girl maker (twitter)
aesthetic girl maker (@rileydixondesign on instagram)
boy maker (@hellomadjackass on twitter/instagram)
another boy maker (tumblr, @GigiliJiggly on twitter, @gigili_jiggly on instagram)
western boys (@mosssygator on twitter)
and toyhou.se is great for storing your character.
prompt generators!
a list of different generators depending on what you need
pretty much the same as above
pretty much the same as above again
same again-
127 prompts if you’re writing about yourself
science fiction plot generator
random generators
map making!
cartographer’s guild is a website dedicated to map making, so a TON of resources on geography and landscape and whatnot.
inkarnate is for making your own fantasy maps, they have a free and a pro version but the free one is def enough to get going!
worldanvil is awesome for worldbuilding in general.
nat geo has an awesome interactive world map, with options to see a ton more info like population density, animal populations, language diversity, and just a lot of stuff in general for irl maps.

jot down ideas when you get them!
don’t force yourself to write, or else you’ll burn out. and that’s never good.
have snacks and drinks handy if you’re going to be writing for an extended amount of time. even if you’re not, your brain needs fuel to run.
so, drinks like tea and water. snacks that aren’t oily/greasy or crumbly (i mean, do you really want that on your paper or keyboard?),
and on that note, for god’s sake use the bathroom frequently.
if you have difficulty concentrating, get something like a fidget cube or something to help. or take a nap.
if you don’t think your writing is good at first, just keep. writing. it’s a skill, and the more you write, the better you’ll get.
beta readers and outside opinions are very helpful. and please, never antagonize them first.
first drafts are messy! and done > perfect the first time around.
probably more stuff but it’s been 11+ hours and i want to play skyrim already so take it.

Anons
After seeing yet another content creator get chased off for not fulfilling demands because they have a life outside of tumblr.
I want to be very clear. There are reasons I don’t do commissions, or take requests often, because I have dealt with the undesirables before. The ones who are impatient, wondering where their ask is, their request.
Thing is about that, it is a request. Not a commission. If a commission was asked for, it’s more of an incentive to do it because it’s a paid service.
But who wants to pay for writing? Certainly not alot of you. So that’s why you seek out the ones who do requests for free, and exhaust them down. It’s all “fun” because they’re doing it for free, specially the up and coming writers, those just dipping their toes into a space, trying to get personalities down, trying to figure their writing styles for a fandom.
The creators don’t take money because they’re shaky about their production. And seek validation for it, validation alot of them will never see because who compliments writers?
Writing is a freeing hobby. I won’t ever take money for it, but I will be selective of just WHO and what floats into my inbox. I don’t like something, it doesn’t get done. That’s the conditions of requests. It has to spark an interest into it. If there is no inspiration, it gets left till either inspiration happens or creators like me announce “Hey I can’t do this one because it doesn’t resonate with me. Sorry.”
I’ve declined asks/requests because I couldn’t write for specific characters. Or I chose not to because something went against my preferences. I enforce them left and right. (probably why I get less traction because I project this out there.)
I’m not easily manipulated, I don’t buy into guilt trips, I taunt every single pissed off person that tries to act like they’re entitled. I rip those ones to shreds.. I don’t allow this behavior to breed in my spaces. I curb it from the start.
Becoming nasty because someone doesn’t do your request? You prove the reason why writers are dropping and starting to charge for their creations the same way artists make people pay for the content they want. I know what my writing could fetch for me. I could easily see 50 for my big tier level stories. I could hide it all behind paywalls. But I don’t because it would make this a job instead of you know... a hobby. I refuse to take money for it, because I want it to remain a hobby.
But the level of harassment writers get is astounding to me. Like you know... we don’t have to do this for free. Then your wells dry up because you wonder “Why isn’t anyone posting for free anymore?” Because the people who harass the writers drive us off. I made that hard decision a few weeks ago to say “no” on three of the brothers for obey me, because they legit make me sick to write. I’m not sacrificing my mental health because someone can’t write for themselves their twisted bullshit.
So when you harass a minor because they don’t get your matchup out in a timely manner? Fuck you, you could easily do it yourself, and match with the character you desperately want. But that would mean doing it on your own.
What a concept that is.
I recall, there is a fandom I had destroyed every single thing I created for in Undertale. I hate that fanbase for how people treated each other. Let’s not have a repeat with Genshin? The only thing from Undertale I like is the music. Only thing. and original story itself.
But seriously, you know there are laws that protect minors more than adults? Specially on cyberbullying.
I went off a bit on a tangent but you’d too if you saw what pissed me off enough for it.
Also the highest rule I have within my blog and for myself is “I write what I want.”

How NOT to do Commissions
I have commissions from 4 artists. Two of them were an absolute dream to work with, they both had clear rules, clear communication, showed that they were consistently making the commissions. They were absolutely lovely.
The other two.
Well the first one I made the mistake of paying in cash. As I was at a con and it was before I had a credit card. However, though I waited a long time (and the product wasn’t quite worth the money I spent imo), I did get my commission along with the guy throwing in a free print for making me wait so long.
So I forgive that guy, he honored our agreement, and did try to make me whole.
So that leads to the last one.
I’ll just go over my experience because I think that’s the best way to go about it.
So, back in March I was high off of buying commissions from one of the lovely two artists I had commissioned. I was looking for artists who produced art in a different fandom so I was shopping around a little keeping it in the back of my mind that ‘hey my bdays coming up (Spring Birthday whoop whoop) I’ll buy myself some art as a present for myself’
I’m looking around, and an artist I started recently following comes out with this really rough sounding situation. They come out with the sadly very common post of ‘I’m in dire straits, I’m opening commissions, please help’
And my heart strings were tugged, so I was like. ‘Well I like their work, I’ll be helping them out and getting something in return for my money’
So the way to commission them was through patreon and let me say DO NOT do patreon commissions unless you are expecting a turn around within 3 months. After 3 months the creator CANNOT refund you and instead you’d have to seek a refund through other methods and agreements.
That’s my buyer beware there, so be very cautious as Patreon’s policy is like ‘oh well if they don’t deliver their benefits tough cookies’
So I reached out to the artist was like ‘hey I’m interested in commissioning you’ and I got a quick response of like ‘Great! That’d be wonderful’
I had a few questions so I asked some questions because I wanted to make sure the artist was willing to do what I wanted. And it was agreed upon I was told ‘expect this in May’.
So I paid...
And waited.
And waited.
At the time I was still very sympathetic so for the months after my initial payment, I dropped down to their lowest tier (and to also see their updates on Patreon), and held out hope that ‘oh well they’re going through stuff, I know what that’s like. I’ll support them and wait’
Well, I hit my breaking point in July and I reached out and I said ‘hey what’s going on?’
And I should note, everytime I had to reach out to them.
I had to ask ‘hey what’s going on?’ rather than receive updates despite giving THEM money.
And I mean EVERY time.
I talked to them in March, May, and then crickets then finally I started messaging them in June/July trying to find out what the heck was going on. I messaged them on twitter (which was where I initially talked with them) and only after reaching out to them on Patreon did I get a response.
I finally heard back from them where they assured me ‘oh yes I’d either do them or give a refund.’
And then I’ve heard nothing.
Finally after waiting 6 MONTHS since I first ASKED for this commission. I said ‘Look you promised me a product in MARCH, and told me a turnaround in MAY with not a PEEP since detailing WHEN you’d get to it. You had excuses for WHY you were busy (doing other projects, which is fine as long as you’re like saying WHEN you’re going to get to commissions) but that doesn’t count towards actually explaining when we’re getting what we paid for.’
Like I didn’t hear a DATE for when I’d get my commission since the initial date I was given of MAY.
It was always ‘I’m busy I’ll get to it, I have other commissions I need to get to’
And finally I just ran out of patience.
And so I requested a refund.
It is highly unlikely I will get my money back (and this is solely the commission money, the time I was in the lowest tier I know is a wash I just want the money I put that was EXPLICITLY for my commission).
Especially since this artist has proceeded to ghost me on Twitter and Patreon messages.
I’ve given the artist a deadline of a Month to respond to me and talk about how they’re going to make this right. Like I’m not like ‘give me this money NOW’ I just want ‘Hey, I’m terminating our agreement since you didn’t deliver, so tell me how you want to make up for this’
So after my experience with this. I’ve come away with two things.
1. Do not do commissions through patreon, unless the artist is consistent and has demonstrated that they will get your commission back to you. (see if other commissions are showing up as examples of their work etc)
2. Make sure you set at least a date of when to expect this commission by. This can be something like ‘turn around in 6 weeks time’. That way if the artist doesn’t get it to you by this point, you can reach out to them or hopefully if they are good, THEY will reach out to you.
It saddens me greatly that this happened to me, especially now I don’t think I’ll ever be inclined to respond to an artist doing ‘emergency commissions’ again because of how I got screwed. (unless they have clear deadlines or only want half payments with half paid after the fact, which I won’t demand artists do because I know they do get screwed, and they deserve to be paid for their hard work. I just want to make sure I don’t wind up with nothing like I now have)
I spoke with one of my friends who noted ‘at least your heart was in the right place’
But that doesn’t make me any less bitter.
Worse it just means whenever I see this artist post art rather than be like ‘oh such nice art’ I instead just feel angry and bitter and betrayed.
I will also say I don’t think this artist is doing it MALICIOUSLY, I think they’ve got a lot going on. But that’s no excuse for them making posts about their art but not even responding to ONE of my recent messages.
Even if it was to just DENY me my refund at least then I know they’re a butthole.
This ghosting me is just pissing me off worse.
And it leaves me unsure how to proceed. Do I post on their feed directly where others can see that I’m waiting for a response from them? Do I blast them with the receipts of our previous conversations.
Because the biggest reason I got sick of it was because there was no point where THEY reached out to me about my commission. They made no effort to be clear about WHY their commissions weren’t being done, and when I could actually expect it.
I already knew in the back of my mind I had like a hard deadline of like ‘Give it to me by December 31st 2021,’ which was y’know 8 months after I initially commissioned them which is imo more than enough time to ask for one drawing.
But since I couldn’t get any sort of ballpark estimates besides ‘I’ll get to it eventually, I’ll tell everyone I’m doing this or that’ (to which there was never a post made detailing what was going on with commissions as far as I could see unless for some asinine reason she made it for only CERTAIN tiers able to see that message)
And they finally stopped responding again, I just got fed up.
Literally all I wanted was to get it before December 31st and get a BALLPARK idea where it was at.
IF they had communicated better I would’ve been fine waiting. Instead I’m mad and wanting a refund.
What’s worse is they still have commissions as part of their patreon benefits. And despite still following their Twitter, not a PEEP about commissions.

Canonseeker Update
Current Twitter @ (NEW): Rememberyourchildhood (@pinkeagle25)
Current Tumblr alts: iamafanofcartoons; onesheeptwosheepandachicken
Current YouTube usernames: Eren; Alicia Garske; Vernon Dokon
Current Discord name (NEW): carol257#6439
NEW! Reddit alts: u/KreiaSensei; u/DarthArrenKae
UPDATE: Canonseeker is currently back on Reddit under two alts, which the r/RWBY mods have woefully delayed action on. u/KreiaSensei appears to be inactive now, but keep an eye out for the second.
(I also expect to receive hate anons again from Canonseeker and their legion of concerned, also anonymous "friends" soon after this.)
DO NOT INTERACT. Block on sight and move on. This post is to raise awareness, not encourage harassment.
Canonseeker/Answerseeker is a known toxic member of the RWBY fandom. They have been banned/muted across Reddit, YouTube and Discord and hides in multiple accounts/usernames across Tumblr and Twitter as well, stalking blogs and harassing content creators. They will often use these accounts to deceive, usually pretending to be new to the fandom - in order to gain trust with unaware members of the community. You can read this doc for more info about their behavior.
Their constant dummy accounts and attempts to evade bans and deceive other fans makes them hard to find, which is why myself and a group of others personally affected by their harassment have found their various alts across the internet and compiled them here.
If you are a content creator/artist, be very careful as they will try to act nice with you in the hopes of buying commissioned art, which they are known to not be able to pay for. If you create RWBY content on YouTube, mute them from your channel as they may act positive at first but will eventually start arguments and comment wars in your comment section, ruining your video's experience for everyone else. They also may DM you on Discord pretending to be someone else, often seeking pity and lying about being wrongfully banned from other servers, being harassed/doxxed, or someone "impersonating" them. Do not believe their fake narratives.
Be careful when dealing with them; they are a known liar and will use kind and encouraging words simply to help them gain favour with others to keep their new dummy account in good graces, but will turn against you once you call their bluff. Again, DO NOT INTERACT with them; just block them and make sure others know about their aliases.
Every time Canonseeker changes their alias, I will post a new update, along with a motivational quote for them in hopes that they will change their ways.
“When you’re anonymous, other opinions shrink next to the sounds in your own head.” ― Dan Groat

Red Commission Masterpost
Art Commission Prices
25 USD for a bust
45 USD for a Mid-body
65 USD for a Full Body.
+10 USD for a Simple Background, +20 USD for a Complex Background.
I charge +10 USD per extra character, however If it's for a pairing//characters I make content for anyway only a few extra character I generally will cut that cost. This clause is non-applicable to scenes of 4+ characters.
Nsfw pieces are +10 USD and there might be another +10 USD fee if the kink is one I generally do not produce for, or is particularly complex. You MUST be 18+ to buy NSFW.
For original characters you get a free bonus sketch sheet of what is essentially "me figuring out how to draw them" The sketches will range in quality and style, and are just bonus to what you’re commissioning.
Writing Commission Prices
Writing Commissions start at 1.50 USD Per Hundred Words (7.50 USD for 500 Words, 15 dollars for 1000 Words, Ect.) If I end up writing extra words, thats a treat and you won’t be charged for it.
I do not charge for multi-character fics, and I am willing to write for anything. However there might be a flat charge for complex kinks, or particularly taboo topics. However much this is depends on the kink in question. I specialize in relationship based writing, however am willing to write for any genre.
I hold the right to deny any commission for whatever reason I so choose.
I specialize in fandom writing (I’m particularly good with the Danganronpa 2 Cast, however am willing to write for any media I have knowledge on). I am willing to write for OC’s and self inserts, however need enough details on their personality and character to work with. Examples work best, however a really well thought out description on their personality is more than enough. If not enough details are given, I will deny the commission.
Writing Commissions will take longer depending on the length and complexity of the fic in question.
Terms of Services
Payment
Commissions are to be half up front, half after the sketch phase and thumbnail have been decided. Thumbnailing won’t start unless the first part of payment is received. All commissions are to be paid through paypal unless stated otherwise.
Progress
Thumbnails will be sent at the sketch stage, and multiple options will be given. After a thumbnail is picked, the second part of the payment shall be sent. All changes should be asked for at the thumbnail stage. If the piece is close to finished, only minor changes are allowed. If something is really bothering you, I might be willing to change it. However, major changes will cost an extra 5 dollars per change.
Copyright
I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the commissioner. This means thats I hold the rights to
Use the art to promote myself in any place or site
Display it and post it where I so choose.
If, for some reason, you would not like it posted you are welcome to request this. I will respect this. However, I still hold the right to do so should I need to.
The commissioner is allowed to use the art for personal use, claim their characters (But not the art) as their own. They may post the art to promote themselves and their characters, any they may use it in any noncommercial project you so choose.
You may not reproduce or reuse the art work commercially, or claim it’s creation. You may not remove credit from the piece, should there be any on there.
Purchase of commercial rights will come with a fee. We will discuss this fee and terms if the topic comes up.
Cancelling and Refunding
I, the artist, hold the rights to cancel and refund your purchase at anytime, for any reason. The commissioner may not demand a refund after I have begun the coloring stage of the art piece.
If you file a charge back against me, the artist, your right to copyright will be retracted from whatever I have worked on for you. You will be forbidden from commissioning me again.
ESC.
All personal records sent in the process of the commission will be kept on record for legality, and as proof of purchase. Your information will never be given out to third parties, and you have a right to ask I terminate any personal information not required for legal records.
For art, commissions might take up to three months, given the complexity and life circumstance. If anything pops up that may prevent me from working on it (Work, School, Health Concerns…) You will be notified as such.

Hot Takes Galore: A brief overview of fandom backlashes that influenced fanfiction writing traditions as I have personally experienced them:
In today’s segment I am going to talk about copyright infringement.
First let me preface this by saying I have only ever been in 3 fandoms, starting from 2008 and I have never been terribly active - like this blog has been the most active I’ve ever been in any fandom ever. I am not going to talk about particular fandom dramas because I am pretty clueless about that. What I am going to talk about is that friction between “reality” and online spaces that brought about changes that are still in effect today in the way fanfiction is written and perceived.
In 2008 as I was entering, nearly every piece of fanfiction had a disclaimer about the author not owning the characters, which were the property of Corporate Entity X, or Author Y, and also not profiting from the work in any shape or form. At the time getting money from writing fanfiction was a gigantic taboo, and almost no one did it, or advertised that they did.
But as I understand through convention culture printed writing did circulate in exchange for money (zines), and at least in Japan one could sell doujinshis (self-published stories and comics, often within the framework of another work) in certain events. Although this was largely considered “illegal” under copyright laws, and artists could be persecuted or blacklisted from entering the industry if discovered. That’s also why fanartists often to this day may screen where and when their work is viewed, and move to take down reposts, or call others to protest if artworks are circulated without permission outside of the artist’s page.
Older fandom people also hated authors that moved against fanfiction, a big case being Anne Rice, the vampire lady everyone - including me - copies when writing about vampires. And now I am going to talk a little about that.
Usually, writers, just sit somewhere cosy and write, and often they have no idea, absolutely no idea, on how to manage their writing properties - usually a lawyer does that, and lawyers want A Lot Of Money (A brief brush with justice and lawyers over a civil dispute I won, cost me 1000 euros out of nowhere, in a single day, and no I couldn’t avoid it because I was the accused one, so I had to appear with some representation).
So sometimes, quite often, it’s a lawyer that activates a writer or other artist to move against “smaller” copyright infringements, in order to make bank. And if one suffers such a case, they should make it as apparent as possible to the other party that they have no money, and the pressure will go away immediately. But even MORE OFTEN a small copyright infringement, may lead to a sequence of bigger ones, and ultimately the de facto loss of rights from one’s writing properties, and of course revenue.
And for a lot of published authors, they just don’t know for how long they can publish things - publishing houses that have them signed can close, book sales can drop, tastes change, personal problems, and anything else may mean that they could find themselves without a source of income at any point in the future, while they are aging and becoming more and more irrelevant.
A very famous case currently, is that of Alan Dean Foster, the writer who has done some novelizations for movies like Star Wars and Alien, and is no longer receiving revenue from that - while his wife is hospitalized and their family needs the income - because Disney absorbed the company that had signed the contract with him, and chose to not honor the previous contract. To make them pay he will have to go into a huge legal battle with a corporate giant, which he cannot afford. But they still absorb income from these novelizations.
But how does fanfiction tie into that, and Anne Rice’s case (which if memory serves right, also went through a series of personal problems, including her husband’s death during that time).
So for a lot of writers, fanfiction may be that tiny breach that may threaten their rights in the future from tresspases of distribution networks. Meaning, people write vampire fanfiction based on Anne Rice’s work? What if another publishing house used the template of her works (historical settings, bleeding orifices, religious themes, homosexuality and sexual trauma etc) and produced a royalty free series of such works with a team of professional writers that do not own the work - who often have less rights, like not owning the characters, or the storylines, participating in a very small scale, so their payment goes down etc)
And in this way EVERYONE SUFFERS. Big Name Published Author fades into obscurity and goes into poverty and payroll writers are horrifically abused.
A lot of hobbyists, and hobbyist writers whose sole dream is to be published in some shape or form, do not really care, and do not concern themselves with the legal aspect of creation, or the technical skill that it takes to produce writing on a consistent basis, which can only happen if you’ve got your basic needs covered. So they might see this type of backlash as inherently privileged.
But it’s not really a privilege, there has been a global recession in basic working rights for everyone, and lovers of fiction don’t have to condone, of course, attacks against them, but they need to put that kind of backlash in perspective. Someone did write the content you enjoy, THEY ARE NOT DEAD YET, and may have opinions on how it should be managed, especially when it pertains to their livelihood.
It’s a delicate balance that we all must keep in order to keep corporate regulations out of it.
For instance with the recent danmei explosion The Untamed brought forth, Ao3 was banned in China. Now a lot of you might know that this was caused by some real person fic involving the actor Xiao Zhan, which led to a whole other level of drama. But make no mistake this was a political act to protect the interests of the domestic publishing industry as it prepares to do an international opening that will bring in several billions from foreign markets.
Because Ao3 has been expanding as a platform globally it brings about changes, and in many cases steals readers away from traditional publishing, so it becomes unacceptable economically for a bunch of hobbyists to influence tastes, market mores, and create sensationalism around certain properties out of literally the blue. This is not a good thing for a lot of corporate thinking, they set the product and we are supposed to buy it. We are not supposed to go, it would look greater with a bunch of anal, and then put forth a million words altering the character of the intellectual property.
Why you ask? Again, because another publishing industry might choose to imitate the style of danmei fanfics and produce works that hijack readership, or lead to breach of contracts, making an unsafe environment for workers in this industry (Xiao Zhan’s case.)
Nowadays I see more and more fanfic authors coming out of their shell to ask money for writing in the form of donations, patronage and commissions, as fandom involvement is also becoming vastly monetized. The market of conventions coming into social media platforms. A strange more exists still in which while “legally wrong”, as long as money is not asked on the publishing platform (Ao3), it may not count as copyright infringement. But fanfic authors, may still be treated with hostility for this, for not “deserving” to profit from someone else’s properties, or even worse for “stealing” readership.
For instance a recent argument I have seen from lgbtq authors, is that they remain unsupported by fandom spaces, who often proclaim themselves as lgbtq or lgbtq friendly (something that is not true), but at the same time they are not looking for published lgbtq stories, or authors, or even treat these with open hostility, or a lot of bias.
Fandom is not comprised from “readers” in the traditional sense, definitely not friends of literature, and it’s free, no one really has to pay anything to read a published fanfic.  So it’s a pretty loose demographic with no set characteristics, and no interest in investing time and money in something for long. It’s an online social activity and not a readers’ movement, highly influenced by peer pressure and branding. It’s basically a gigantic group of people who don’t really do anything for no one, and may develop a parasitic connection to intellectual properties (I am sorry peers, it’s the truth).
And it’s perhaps the biggest counterculture scene at the moment in the developed world. To this day it treats even its own authors with tremendous suspicion, disregard and dismissal, meaning that even if someone can get some money and recognition locally through writing fanfic they are on thin fucking ice at all times for all the reasons but mostly attracting unnecessary attention to themselves and subsequently the scene.  A pattern that we will see is endemic to all forms of fandom backlashes.
So to this day in contrast with fanart, fan writers may not be compensated for their troubles, but may also be ousted from their domestic professional spaces for writing fanfic that may infringe on their intellectual property.
The thing is, for me, that fandom culture can become incredibly supportive of corporate practices that harm actual people (writers, they are people too) but when they realize that the same corporate practices may be used against them, it’s too late to realize that it’s not a lottery of who wins by crying more, and by the time that happens, a corporation or industry who has used them to do its dark bidding, can stop catering to them  because ultimately they have become again irrelevant once a well defined demographic of  readers and viewers has been secured.
So if you are going to do counterculture, at least do it right. Be respectful of the writers/authors of the content you consume and mindful of their troubles, do not generate public strife that brings in political regulation in favor of corporate interests. Become interested in writing culture, support your fanfic authors with lasting engagement in their work, even if it escapes the narrow confines of a certain fandom. It’s simple. Eat, live, pray, fuck, or something.
