Ok, I don't think anyone's done this yet, but imagine: Spiderverse!Herobrine feat.Rookie!Y/N

He's basically like my usual Herobrine is, but a Spider-man

Also again, spoilers for those who have not watched Across the Spiderverse

His Spidey suit would of course have the Iconic Spidey eyes, but glowy, and the main colors would be blue (same as his shirt), Indigo, and white (ofc with black accents). (Also angy Spidey eyes mood)

He's in the usual same style of animation that Miles, Peter B parker, and Gwen are. (Same with Y/N's) His framerate also changes. (24 fps for the default, 12 for fight scenes)

He'd be the mentor that ends up a tired exasperated father figure for teenage Y/N. (Think of a Tony Stark and Peter Parker dynamic)

He will deny the claim that he thinks of Y/N as his child, but he does, 100%. (Denial is a river in Egypt Hero).

Especially because Y/Ns bio father figure isn't really there. (He's kinda there, but he's not really that good. Idk)

Crossed arms and annoyed, Spidey, squinty eyes are pretty common.

His powers would consist of the same things Miles Morales can do (including invisibility), with added teleportation with a "cool down". (He leaves a blue trail behind when he teleports in 12fps, but it fades almost instantly)

He's been a spiderman for a long while. So naturally, he's the mentor and Y/N needs to do what he says. (Does Y/N do this? No. No, they don't.)

Him and Miguel Spiderman were at odds. Brine was always a lone wolf, "I wanna do my thing", kinda guy, and we all know that Miguel hates when people don't conform to the "canon".

Herobrine doesn't believe all the "canon" nonsense. He knows it's illogical, and multiple universes should have collapsed in that case. He tried explaining this to Miguel, with no luck.

Hero barely holds in a snort when he finds out a literal kid (Miles) has tricked Miguel. It's hilarious to him akjdhd.

"A STUPID ASS KID BEAT ME. HES GONNA RUIN EVERYTHING!" "A kid?" *Barely keeping in a laugh* "Are you LAUGHING AT ME?!"

I can imagine Y/N would be (enthusiastically) introducing new slang and phrases to Hero that Herobrine never bothered learning.

Y/N casually rambling while trying to catch a villain with Herobrine.

"Can you not do this right now?"

Should I make Hero the "Uncle Ben" or no? (Probably nahhh. It's better to make him lose someone, and that impacts his overprotectivness with Y/N)

Man is again, bilingual (English and Swedish). He comes from Sweden, but has a northern United States accent, considering it's where he spent most of his formative years.

His age is 34 in this AU.

*rolls eyes with a sigh* "Miguel, your logic is not making any sense."

He also consistently has these expressions all the time: (I.e: "Bish, imma strangle you.")

Man is the only one more intimidating than Miguel.

He has a "tired dad mode". This only ever happens when he's been awake for more than two days and has no more energy and is running off of coffee and regret.

i know Susie has a school id where it says the year 1993 - 1994 therefor she would be a senior in 1996 but I do not care. Susie is still a 16 year old and a sophomore in my eyes. I don't know how but to me it's not fun where they are all the same age and besides most people who Susie is 18 are kind of creepy.

I love spending a whole 25 minutes of my morning writing a response, and then having it completely delete itself before I could hit post !!! It's so much fun !!! I totally don't wanna cry or anything !!! Lol anyway-

God yeah, I honestly just completely disregarded that part of the ID :o) Like her last name and natural hair color? Cool ! But the dates,,, Nahhh I don't think so! Like, I get *why* BHVR had to age her up (I believe they had to do it with the canonical 17 year old fellas from Licensed shit as well), but eughgjdlkfs it's still annoying as hell. I just wanna know why video games have different... Standards (?) compared to books and movies, if that makes sense? Especially considering that she's a *Killer* (so no violence is done to her), and not a Survivor enduring the shitty events of the Trials. I dunno, it just feels dumb to me.

There's just something about the idea of this diverse friend group of teens (age, background, etc) that's just really intriguing to me? Like imagining how they all interacted Pre-Fog (both in and out of school) as well as how participating in the Trials effects each of them/their motives for actively following the Entity's orders. I dunno, I feel like if they were all the same age (still all younger than Frank considering that he was the oldest at Julie's party), it just wouldn't be as interesting to me. You can just mess around with the dynamics a lot more, and also it just makes a lot more sense for her to be younger than the other three story wise, or at least in the way I write her ig.

You can bounce around this idea by saying that Frank was 19 when he actually arrived to Ormond or when he met the rest of the Legion, and not when he got taken into The Fog, meaning that he'd be roughly 21-22 in the end instead, but ehhhdlfksj idk ? It kinda takes the fun out of the whole concept of this rebellious group of teens who drank and smoked n all that stuff (I'd like to mention that Alberta's drinking age is 18 when bringing point this up). Also I feel like it just opens a whole 'nother can of inconsistency worms unless you played around with their Lore a LOT. Like obviously you can work with their Lore however you please, I'm not gonna stop ya considering how much I've personally rewritten n' whatnot (mainly for consistency, but still)! It's just personally not for me, but you do you, boo 😘

And oh yeah, agreed, I find that a lot people use the "But she's 18!!!" to their advantage... Like,,, Fine, sure, whatever, but it still rubs me the wrong way seeing gross shit of her considering the fact that she was most likely originally a sophomore (aka roughly 16). Like again, BHVR backpedaled like they usually do and changed some lore yet again, so technically these people off the hook (ha), but I still get bad vibes from it. There's SOOOOOO many other characters, both Survivors and Killers, that you're free to do whatever your little heart desires with. But Susie? Please just leave her be :( I personally get uncomfy with that stuff with all of them tbh, especially since they're still high school students (Frank and Julie I'm more lenient with since they're my age), but that's just me ig. If Daddy BHVR says they're legal, then I guess people can just do whatever.

I will also take this time to say that I don't personally enjoy violence against minors (whether they're super young or on the verge of adulthood)! I find it interesting to see what drives these characters to do what they do, but I don't like seeing them in any gross situations, including extreme violence/gorey shit (like on the Final Destination end of the scale, if that makes sense). I'll never include any shit like that in my personal work, including both art and writing (my art is a lot more lighthearted, but my writing, although generally SFW, does sometimes include gore n shit). Just thought I'd throw this out there!

ALSO I'D LIKE TO ADD SOMETHING THAT DRIVES ME NUTS AS WELL !!! Julie, yeah? Her first cosmetic, Suspended, is quite literally under the Collection Name "Fairview Senior", along with Frank's (I still personally believe them to be a grade apart, but I thought I'd add that as well). But then,,, Saturday Slasher (aka the Bush Party recolor) is,,, Under "Sophomore Jitters" ????? What ????????????? Why ??? For what reason ??? Like they were literally released 4 years apart, just make a new collection or add it to a different one that MAKES SENSE ??? Whatever ig, I don't come to DBD for consistent Lore anymore (or anything consistent, considering how much they've fucked up with Julie and Susie's models lmfao, that's a whole other rant for another day), but it still drives me nuts :o)

Again, I'd like to clarify that a lot of my personal views on this subject are very related to how I, Miss Cherry Haysprite, your local Frank/Julie enthusiast, personally interpret the lore! Their lore is so damn inconsistent that at this point I've just given up trying to figure out what's actually canon or not (maybe the comic will fix some of this, but honestly I feel like it might make things more messy), so I just go along with whatever I think fits and respect everyone else's interpretation! Honestly, one of my favorite parts about Fanon Legion are the different interpretations and how people enjoy writing them, whether or not I actually like said interpretations or not! They're just a fun group of characters to work with and I love seeing how people prefer writing them, especially compared to my own thoughts and ideas! I'm just one person with her own lil spin on things :3c I just personally wish there was more consistency and less backpedaling in the Canon that we do have :( But again, what can ya do lmfao

MerMay 2022 Day Two Secret Meeting

It was an unusually hot day for this time of year. Chase rested his head on the rotted wooden boards of the old dock, closing his eyes. The sun was warm on his back. He’d have to go back underwater soon, since all this heat could dry him out quickly, but for now he enjoyed the feeling of it.

Suddenly, a rattling noise clanged through the still air. Chase jerked his head upward and looked over at the chain link fence that blocked off this part of the beach. There was a group of three human teenagers standing in front of it: two boys and a girl, all wearing colorful swimsuits. As he watched, one of the boys started climbing up the fence. 

Chase stared at them for a moment. They couldn’t seriously be trying that. There was a lifeguard well within sight. But apparently that didn’t matter to these teens, as the other boy and the girl started climbing the fence as well. It only took a few moments for them to get up and over, landing on the pebbly ground on the other side. Immediately, Chase ducked under the old dock, hiding from view.

The teenagers started walking along the beach, looking around. Chase tried not to panic. What were they doing here?! Had they seen him?! Were they going to get in the water?! This was horrible timing. He’d come here for a meeting, so he couldn’t just leave. But if they saw him—

As the three of them walked closer to the old dock, he could hear them talking. “No way, no way,” one of the boys was saying. “There aren’t sharks in this part of the ocean.”

“Well why else would they have blocked it off?” The girl countered, her hands on her hips. “I mean, it’s not as sandy over here, but it’s not, like, dangerous or anything.”

“Maybe someone owns it,” the other boy guessed.

“Nahhh, if someone owned it, they would’ve been using it,” the girl said. “Look at that dock. It’s all old and broken and stuff. They would’ve replaced it.”

“Whoa, that’s like...really old,” said the first boy. He walked over to the dock. Hidden underneath the wooden boards, Chase backed up further. “It looks like it’s gonna fall apart at any moment.” The boy put a foot on the dock, but stepped away when it creaked beneath his weight.

“Heh. Hey, how much could we pay you to walk all the way to the end of it?” The other boy asked.

“I have cash in the car, we could pay you right now,” the girl added, smiling.

“Hmmm.” The first boy considered it. “Twenty.”

“Deal,” the other two said in unison.

“Well, alright, then.” The boy grinned, and walked out onto the dock. The rotten planks groaned. Chase shrank back, almost completely going underwater with just the top of his head sticking out. If the dock collapsed and that boy fell, he’d definitely see him. There would be no hiding his tail or any other fishy parts. Sure, the other teens might not believe him, but they might tell people at their school, and rumors might get out, and that was the last thing they needed right now—Chase stopped his thoughts from spiraling any further.

He had to leave right now. He couldn’t risk it. But just as he was about to swim away, he heard a new voice shout “Hey!”

All three teens turned towards the sound. There was a woman walking down the beach, dark hair pulled back in a ponytail. “What’re you kids doing here?! You’re not supposed to be here!”

“Oh shit! Book it!” The girl shouted. Instantly, all three of them sprinted back towards the fence, scrambling to climb over it. 

The woman stared after them, hands on her hips and eyes narrowed. Only once the teenagers were back on the other side, running farther away down the beach, did she turn towards the water. “You there?” she asked, sitting down at the edge of the water.

Chase surfaced, swimming over to her. “You know, technically, you’re not supposed to be here either,” he said.

Stacy laughed. “Yeah, but they don’t know that.” She sighed. “Ah. Remember being like that? Idiots who thought they could do anything?”

“Of course I do.” Chase smiled softly. “But...” His expression fell. “It’s a lot less fun when you’re trying not to get discovered.” He paused. “So...how are things? Has anything happened on your end?”

“No.” Stacy shook her head. “TridentCorp has no idea we broke in. Well, actually, they do know. But they don’t know it was me.”

“Did Roxy get in trouble?” Chase asked. When they broke into the TridentCorp building to rescue Jack, Stacy had pretended to be her sister, who had been invited. That ruse had fallen apart quickly as the two of them had to run out of the building with rescued merms in tow.

“Not so far.” Stacy shrugged. “All she has to do is deny she knows anything. It’s not like I went disguised as her, it was just me, and none of those TridentCorp assholes have seen me before.”

Chase let out a breath of relief. “A-alright. That’s good. So...they're not after us.”

“For now, at least.” Stacy paused. “Even if they figure it out, I don’t regret anything. No matter what happens.” She reached out and grabbed Chase’s hand, squeezing it tightly.

Chase smiled a bit. “How are the kids?”

“They’re great. Busy with school and all that. We’ll come to visit around the Easter holidays.”

The two of them talked for a couple hours, catching each other up on events in their respective worlds. The sun had moved noticeably by the time Stacy headed out. Chase waved at her as she left, then headed out to sea.

Hidden on the shadowy sea floor, half-buried beneath silt and sand, a figure with glowing green eyes watched him swim away.
