Hello ms bubble wizard mage maam', I was just wondering what are your thoughts on magolor regarding how he's apparently **highly aware** of all characters to ever exist in the kirbyverse
Also its become a trend where god is replaced with NOVA in the expressions... Do they know?
Ello ello!
I like Magolor a lot, but he is omniscient? That's news to me. Is there a source for that? :O Unless you're talking about that Magoverse trend I saw floating around a while back- I didn't see much but what I did encounter reminded me of all the different Sans Undertale AUs out there. Hehehe Magolor is quite versatile! What fun.
And I know people use Nova as an expletive when writing Kirby characters! It's cool!
I use profanity in real life but I personally try to not associate Kirby characters with it in the works I make. I want to diversify the vernacular of the citizens of Popstar so I made a small list of expletives I thought of, lol. They should have a variety of things to yell out when they stub their feet or an apple falls on their head! So I get randomly inspired out in the world and I make sure to write them down!
I remember seeing someone have the characters use expletives based on food, like for example, "For the love of shortcake!" or things like that. That idea's fun!! (If you are the person who had this headcanon and are reading this please tell me so I can credit you for it!)
Does anyone else have expletives/exclamations they write for Kirby characters? Please share them if you do heehee. It makes the world building feel more fleshed out and creative >:3

the majority voted for me to not photoshop and just work on the valentines day art to be posted later in the month. and yea I will do that. but I already started photoshoping regardless. so happy belated birthday Grelle!!
I was originally making William into Sebster, plus Nardo's face shape worked a lot more for William than it did for Sebs, and could I have just imported a whole new face in there? yea, but it would have taken longer, may not have looked great... plus I accepted that in the end, I do afterall headcanon Bassy to be Grelle's side toy while Will is her main. so she would want this.

It's very interesting trying to find blogs to follow for cherry alive bc like. Things we like: pink, ribbons, flowers, pretty clothes, baked goods, cute things, fairies, feminine stuff, cottagecore aesthetics, etc etc etc
Things we DO NOT like: misogyny, thinspo, 'i'm just a girly girl who needs a boyfriend to take care of me' (and related), traumacore, lana del rey inspired stuff (her music's fine, the way it's been turned into an aesthetic online bothers me), nymphette stuff (Yikes TM), tradwife stuff (extra Yikes TM), etc etc etc
Like a lot of pink themed blogs have content we find viscerally upsetting and completely antithetical to what I'm trying to make this space into. On my former account I saw a lot of posts criticizing the whole "girlblogging girl dinner" thing but I didn't see a lot of the original content they were responding to. Now I've seen it and I do not like it! I like femininity and fairies and flowers and sunshine. One of my deepest desires in a relationship context is actually a dynamic that includes a certain amount of being taken care of. But like. In a chivalrous butch/femme way not a weird 'girls are incompetent' way. I like so many things that are aesthetically adjacent to a lot of stuff I hate, but at the same time completely opposite from it. Because for me it's about healing and embracing joy and whimsy and magic and sunshine and hope and art, and, to a certain extent, how that stuff interacts for me with gender and femininity and finding joy in my femininity again. It's not about this bizarre 'i'm just a weak little girl' and/or 'i'm a violent girl who's cutesy and cruel' or whatever all that nonsense is. It makes me so sad to see honestly. Like. Idk what you're doing, I'm having fun. You should maybe try it too.

I've been in a creative frenzy these past few days and I went from just having a vague idea of just a regional map for my dnd campaign, to suddenly having a rough topological world map almost finished. It's in the cahill butterfly projection because it's easier to ideate in and I cannot be asked to account for much distortion so I just decided to make the world fit easily onto the projection. I'm not gonna be too anal about the tectonic realism but my goal is for someone with like a bachelor's in geology to be able to take a look at this and think it at least feels truthy (and you can see some of my sketching of what the tectonic activity is)
next step: atmospheric circulation
next next step: oceanic circulation
next next next step: climate zoning
next next next next step: drainage basins, rivers, and hydrology
next next next next next step: major eco-zones
next next next next next next step: major cultural zoning and fitting in the other cultures I've thought of but haven't mapped yet onto the map
I desperately need sleep

New OCs! Johannes Havener and Arthur Allen respectively.
Once, they were enemy commanders with a very strong mutual respect. Now, under the new leadership of the Amalgam (a fictional space empire in a verse I’ve never really posted about in detail), they have not only become allies, but lovers.
Their dynamic is one of growth. With one being emotional and the other being more of a thinker, they sometimes clash, but their opposing natures compliment each other more often than not. Arthur’s straightforward nature and methodical way of acting has made Johannes feel safer hanging up his arrogant persona and allowing himself to be vulnerable and authentic. In turn, Johannes’ strong emotions have helped Arthur get more in touch with his own.
On a funny note, they also happen to be that ship dynamic that's like 'the most beautiful brown eyes you have ever seen x staring into your soul.'

I think in between having medium level body dysmorphic background noise since elementary school and the annoying mouse critic voice in my head doing comparison studies 80% of the time, it's really a step forward that I'm now able to look myself in the mirror and say: okay. Let's start with this: I'm glad I have this body. I'm going to treat it well. I may not like the way it looks at times, but it's mine.
