you're not cute you're adorable
(definitely not nova)
Thank you!!!
Btw, should you ever have a crush, dear Anon, then this crush should definitely think at least 5000 times whether he wants to reject you.
Because you are ultra sweet and nice! :)
(And if he breaks your heart, I will jump out of the display and break his arm)

I have a friend whose, like, 7 for 10 on reccing me things I end up eally liking, but he always does so in a way that's almost designed in a lab to make them sound unappealing to me. Just incredibly vexing dynamic.

I'm sorry but this just pisses me off (Not Hunt obviously, but Bryce)
Bryce rant incoming which you can just ignore and I'll probably delete later
But Bryce just puts all the blame on the Asteri. And yes ultimately they are to blame in the larger sense of things. But Bryce plays a direct role in leading them down the path that results in Hunt, Ruhn and Baxian being caught. It was her need to find out Danika's secrets with no thought to the consequences, her idea to go to the Eternal City. And she takes NO personal responsibility for it at all!
Hunt is blaming himself for everything that's happened. Even when it's not his fault at all. When we're in his pov he's constantly drowning in guilt, thinking about how he should of done more, he should of tried harder, he should of been better, how it's all his fault this happened and that his friends suffered.
And then Bryce does none of that. When we're in her pov she doesn't really show any major guilt. I can't think of any times when she blames herself like Hunt does. And I'm not saying she should be wracked with guilt. But a normal person, a good person, will usually feel bad and will feel guilty and blame themselves to some degree when something bad happens and people they care about are hurt, regardless of how big or small they're involvement is, or even if they're not at fault at all, case in point Hunt being wracked with guilt even when it's not his fault.
And to make it worse she acknowledges that Hunt warned them, warned her. But that she disregarded it and would of done it no matter what.
And then she has the audicity to say she doesn't regret it. And she thought they were on the same page. ON THE SAME PAGE!!?? Hunt made it clear in hosab that he didn't want to go down this road again, that he didn't want to get involved. YOU just didn't listen Bryce. And yeah Hunt's an adult, he can make his own decisions and he could of said no and not gone. But of course, OF COURSE!! he wasn't going to let Bryce go down that road alone, because he loves her, and doesn't want anything to happen to her, and wants to protect, so of course he would never desert her. But that doesn't mean he wanted to do it!
For Bryce to be that unaware of Hunt's feelings, when he explicitly stated them. For her to be that disconnected from her mate's feelings that she's surprised that he wasn't really on board is kinda unfathomable to me. Just that complete lack of awareness really does make her look quite selfish/self centered.
Anyway sorry, this post is a mess but I just had to vent
And then when Hunt mentions the consequences he and his friends faced, Bryce makes it about her pain. She's hurt that Hunt mentioned that they suffered. And the worst part is, Hunt then regret's it, he regrets saying something that hurts Bryce, because he cares about her and feelings. And she does not consider his feelings to the same degree
It just pisses me off

I gotta work through this. There were two doctors and four people with guns and still. And STILL. He got knifed. What The Fuck. Bramothy this is 100% on you. This did not need to happen at all.
Jonathan baby i am so proud of you and i will never love a character as much as you. The way he scared the men off with just a look, threw that whole box of dirt on the ground singlehandedly, and then – at the sight of that fuckboy's terrifying triumph – he fucking Killed that old man!! with his badass, razor sharp kukri knife!!! YES!!!
But what the fuck... What the fuck. Why did Quincey have to die 😭 it's so stupid
I will be angry about this.

People who don't restart/replay video games I will never understand you.
I am on my tenth? playing of SWtOR and I just figured out how stronghold design layouts work, how dye module previews work, what veteran means for the flashpoints (hint. it doesn't mean you've played it a lot so you can skip the cutscenes and just do the battle... I did have to abandon that one lol), how to properly use legacy storage, and how to successfully utilize crew skills with multiple characters. I was doing zero percent of this my first several plays. This makes my most recent two characters the best characters I have ever made. I haven't finished any of my play throughs yet, but my first several I really didn't know what the hell I was doing so they weren't good characters anyway! And I know as I get farther into these two's games I will probably learn even more things to apply to later characters. All this means I am enjoying the game significantly more now than I did when I started playing 4 years ago (jesus. I did not realize it'd been that long).
Personally, I think this is how games were meant to be played. This is exactly how I played Dragon Age Inquisition, and my only finished play through was probably something like my 15th character. I just think games were meant to be started and stopped a few hours in and restarted over and over again until you have the beginning memorized and completely understand the game mechanics, and then you can go through and play the whole game (though you should probably restart again around the middle of the game a few times just to be sure lol).

*pulls pillow off my head* ok done screaming. so how about that Zeb cameo in The Mandalorian today, folks? anyone else hold their breath for a second thinking "no, it's just a Lasat, there's no way--" before hearing Steve Blum's voice and going "OH SHIT OH SHIT IT'S HIM" and stopping the episode for a solid minute or two to deal with the overwhelming excitement and message their friend in all caps? or is that just me?

Vibes for my best girl Erza, please?
Ah yeah, Erza, let's gooo
Undefeated by Adelaide is very Erza-shaped. It simultaneously expresses how beaten-down she is ("back against the wall"), but also that despite all attempts, she is "still here standing tall, undefeated." Fear and victory are not mutually exclusive. Erza presses on, no matter the situation, and she manages to come out with glory, even if she gets scarred along the way. However, like the speaker of the song, the process is not complete, and the next step while "still rising" is "realizing self-love." While well aware of her capabilities, Erza does have that tendency to belittle herself. (See: TOH arc) Plus, the song has got these rich vocals and a regal-yet-badass air about it that just vibes with Erza, so yeah.
Surface Pressure from Encanto very unironically also reminds me of Erza. She puts so much on herself, and she takes it all so seriously. She put Fairy Tail, its protection and its image, on her own shoulders, and she doesn't put it down easily. Of course, most of it is self-inflicted, though everyone does see Erza as this paragon of strength, and that's an image she does uphold, to a degree, so there is some outside influence. Really though, Erza has that tendency to do too much and squish her stuff down into the repression box until physically ripped out of her. Girl really needed some more good cries, for health reasons.
