(early in their friendship)
Jesse: How do you not know about this?? Do you live under a rock or something?
Petra: I do actually, wanna see?

every saiki k fan has to watch the live action. you dont get it. they had 5 dollars, 3 bad wigs and a dream. the 2 running manga gags around kento yamazaki ("the fortuneteller told me i will meet kento yamazaki!" "omg the fortuneteller told me i will date kento yamazaki" "does she not know any other celebrities") and kanna hashimoto (saiki draws teruhashi using his soul capture power and it her) were possibly the only payment those two got. they went all out on the absurdity by refusing do a single special effect seriously. some scenes look like playing dolls with pngs. saikis mom actually does an "its morbin time" title call joke. saikis dad seems to possess canonical, semi purposeful, semi instinctual power to speak calamities into existence with sole purpose to annoy and burden his son. teruhashi is MUCH more evil and MUCH MUCH more lovable its insane how endearing the portrayal is. it all looks so dogshit tho. still no clue all these famous actors worked on this fever dream of a movie. watch live action saikik.

@buriedabove for leon s. kennedy
unprompted: “ Where’s my Limp Bizkit t-shirt. ” It’s not a question, it’s an accusation.
𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻 as miriam busies herself with daily chores of their household. nonchalant shrug follows his question as another pair of pants is added to a growing pile of clean clothes.
❝ donno. haven't seen it. ❞
she's wearing it, fred durst's face resting on miriam's chest as his grin mocks leon from across the room.

Maybe I should've been an actress. I get lost in delusions and I don't like being seen as myself.

you know having seen a bit of spade white intro now ive fully come around to the unicorns just literally being a church. i think having a christian religious dictatorship made to exploit ppl in a world literally physically built in a way that renders christianity impossible (no heaven no hell you cant crucify someone for very long and just about everyone there has come back from the dead) AND which leans happilly into a murder happy culture (at least one of the ten commandments down and i dont think theyre doing great at some of the others either) is extremely very funny
if you wanted to sound snart (leaving that typo) you could say that the same way alice displays Alice Traits though entirely devoid of context (for example hates herself, but cannot recall why or for what reason) (ITS REALLY VERY SAD!!!) , quinn is displaying Noticably Christian Traits devoid of the context* and history** of irl christianity
*if there is wonderworld judaism, which i wholeheartedly believe there is, i really doubt unicornism was born from a sect within it like irl christianity was. i think it popped up fullformed.
**alice can recall that irl christians were involved in some sort of conflict a long time ago, but cant remember what. lmfao.

I know my taste in kdramas is not perhaps the mainstream so like
I am forever looking for more kdramas like: Strangers from Hell, My Country the New Age, Tomorrow
The Guest met that criteria (loved it), Beyond Evil was phenomenal, My Psychopath Diary was great, Crash Landing On You was and still is the only romance kdrama I loved to pieces (helped by a TON of great action and phenomenal ensemble Cast and Big plot about a lot more than just romance)
I tried My Crowned Clown which was close to a good fit for my tastes but a bit too slow moving/traditional plot in some ways for me (tho I liked the fake identity and lead character concept a lot and may eventually try and finish), The Kings Affection was just way too fluffy for me when I wanted grounded, Bulgasal is the closest to a good fit for me (I both love it and feel mixed just cause it's a very realistic take on my favorite genre when I'm used to my fave genre being a bit sillier like Tomorrow - but its still solid and I love the historical and present story and the horror/magic elements that is my JAM so I plan to finish it eventually), i hated Goblin so much despite the amazing premise of exactly what I like (magic in present day) because it's just sooooo fluffy among other things (and I'm just not big on mostly fluff/low action), I tried Tale of The Nine Tailed and it was okay and almost Horror enough to keep me but again just too fluffy for my tastes (and Tomorrow is fluffy too but like... tempers it with genuine death and fear and murderers and past lives and so it keeps a more up/down balance of fluffy to serious like Guardian does and Bureau of Transformer). Mmm I think my point is just... I would love to get into more kdramas but sometimes it's hard to find what will click with me in particular cause it's not always what's generally popular (especially because I can't do high fluff 95% of the time).

i'm dying with your anons, it makes my day 😂
they can be so sweet and funny and genuine tho like half of them will be just normal questions about me or my opinion on something or just telling me they love my blog or telling me about some show or movie or book they think i would like but then the other half will be just absolutely clueless and radiate weird vibes like i never know what im gonna get when i click my inbox its like what will i get today will the girls be normal today or will they be unhinged and clingy and need my permission to go to the bathroom 🤔
