Not dependent on another person for #APlaceToLive #APlaceOfEmployment or #AManToLoveMe ... #ImDoingMe ... #AllOnMyOwn ... One year ago, I found a place on my own and I pay for everything on my own and on time ... I was approached and landed a #NewJob due to my #ProvenWorkEthics making #MoreMoney with #RegularHours #FullBenefits #LessResponsibilities #LessStress ... No more 24/7 dealing with staff with poor work ethics ... After 2.5 years, No more love affair that brought me only moments of happiness. I didn’t understand until the end that his neurological thought process is so different than mine that we continuously clashed and I never felt like I was good enough ... It’s not his fault but I was dying with him as I tried to be supportive ... I will forever love him and one day we will be able to be friends .... So, Today is truly a New Beginning and it’s on me how I travel this part of my life ... there is #Freedom in not being beholden to others and starting fresh. I am #Grateful for my 1st home in Vegas (2 years), I am Grateful for my 1st job (3 years) in Vegas and I am Grateful to my first love in Vegas (2.5 years) ... Now, I am picking up a different book and starting the 1st Chapter at the Age of 60 ... ✨ In this episode of Sandee After Dark I recorded a real therapy session I had recently (just today). I started doing the work of healing my childhood trauma just about 3 years ago. I stopped last year and did my own private session with myself all alone. I did the hard work alone for 6 months and recently started seeing my therapist again. I thought it would be perfect to capture this moment of me sharing my private therapy session in hopes that it helps some one else start looking at herself differently and since my series on childhood traumas and how it can affect our adulthood it seemed fitting. I will always be authentic and vulnerable because I know my transparency isn’t for fame, likes, follows, or success. I am open in the hopes that I help another woman to not only see her amazing beauty but feel the amazing power she’s had all along but have been holding herself back. Life is full of nothing but challenges, challenges that you can chose and others throw at you. A quote that have stuck with me for years that as late has become something for me to focus on “Life_______death, It’s not the start of the line, nor is it the end of the line at death, it’s the line in the middle that matters.” I will not lie I have anger issues, I have control issues, and a few others that are mind over matter. Several years ago I went through anger management classes, at first I thought they was stupid and that is not me. Yea I’ve never hit or attacked someone out of anger, I’ve put a few holes in walls, I’ve broke a few appliances and remotes. One thing I have learned is that most times we can’t see our own faults, we target others and sometimes others will use us as a target. Learning to move on and look in the mirror is your biggest change. Learning what temper is. Life was never meant to be a self inflicted pain. Some will attack you because they know you will help them light the fire.
