Someone asked me which MLP mini I used to make my Giddyup Nav. In the most Locked-Tomb-appropriate way, she is actually two ponies grafted together!

I took the head from a Hoity Toity (based on Karl Largerfeld!), then trimmed the ponytail and bangs down. The body came from a standard Twilight Sparkle that I straight up pulled the head off of! The Eightfold Word Lyctoral process of recombining them was achieved with air dry porcelain.

Denji inches forward with a chorus of shifting plastic and crushed rubbish. He brushes against the rifle in the process, and there's a moment where he pauses while Aki tries not to flinch. A second later, he's moving again. He's inches away from his head when he asks, "Aki? Is it really you?"

Aki doesn't want to open his eyes, isn't sure that he can bear to see how Denji's looking at him, but he finds that he can't keep them closed. With a faint, labored sigh, he opens inhuman eyes and murmurs, "Hello, Denji."

The club slowly empties until it’s just John and his employees, like it is every other night. They close up like normal, and the musicians clean up like normal, and John goes to his office to do paperwork like normal, and it’s all just—

It grates at John. None of this should be normal. Even if Arthur weren’t on his mind, there are too many things now that the club is emptied and it’s late that remind him of every horrible thing that happened here. His eyes keep straying to the spot on the floor where Arthur lay coated in Hastur’s blood, and even when he looks quickly away, the nausea it leaves in his stomach lingers. He can’t stop thinking about lilting Gnossiennes and the crack of a baseball bat and the flashing of ambulance lights. He can’t stop remembering the smell of blood in the air, the way his hands shook as he held his phone to his ear, the soft wheezing of Arthur’s feeble breaths.

And he can’t stop staring at the walls, brick and bare and wallpaper-free, and feeling guilt eat slowly through his stomach lining and into the soft tissue of his tender heart.
