Are your requests still open? I’d love a fic where the (AFAB) reader is in a situation where she’s forced to share a bed with Vessel (maybe she’s a musician who’s touring with ST and the hotel is short on rooms? lol I know it’s super cliche) and in the middle of the night he wakes her up by initiating sex? 🥰
This was so fun to write, thank you!! And thank you for being my first request/ask, I'll never forget it! Sorry it took me a hot second to finish. To be honest, I feel I got a tad carried away but I hope I did our lean bean of a man justice! <3

You were waiting in the lobby of the hotel your tour agent had booked, spinning your luggage case lazily by its extended handle. The staff had been frantic as your large group entered the building.
 IV was at the counter talking to the man who was clicking desperately at his computer. Something clearly was wrong with the reservation, but you were so tired that you really didn't care, you just wanted to slide into a cozy bed and sleep like the dead. It had been a long day, not including the show tonight and piling into a van afterwards.
Two of your best friends and bandmates, Alexis and Maggie were sitting on one of the lobby couches quietly showing memes to II. Vessel, III, and Liv, your bassist, were sitting on the bench right next to them. You all had gotten to know each other fairly well considering you inhabited a bus for numerous hours, watched each other practice, and went out to eat together.
You had noticed Vessel staring at times the past few weeks. You didn’t particularly mind the man was checking you out, it felt good to be wanted in a genuine way. You were not opposed to something new. You had become aware of him giving you glances that were a few seconds too long, a hand grazing just a little slower, him waiting for you so he could walk with you to wherever you were going.
And the teasing and bickering, god, it never ended. You didn't expect any different, being in close quarters with four boys and your three raunchy best friends, it was a constant war. You didn't quite know how to navigate these waters with Vessel though, it had been quite a while since your last boyfriend.
Your attention was brought back by IV walking back over to where you stood, a grimace on his face.
“Something happened to their booking system, they’re overbooked and we're going to have to share rooms until tomorrow.”
Some sort of seniority took over his voice, “Maggie, Alexis, Liv you can share the two-queen room, II, III, and I will share the other. That leaves you and Ves with the last king room”, he said pointing between you and Vessel.
Your eyes could’ve popped out of your head at that moment, but you schooled your expression hopefully before anyone noticed. You looked over to your bandmates and saw how Liv wanted to protest, but closed her mouth before she could say anything, knowing it was futile and everyone was too exhausted to care. It was nearing 3am and you were only spending two nights here before traveling again.
Vessel's eyes instantly shot towards yours, a small smirk forming on his lips, his arms crossed over his chest. Those lips.
“I guess it's you and me, then, love.” He gets up, standing to his full height before grabbing his duffel bag from beside him. The rest of the group rises and gathers their things, IV giving out key cards in silence.
You look at your girls, bidding them goodnight with a small wave and suddenly your hands are empty. Vessel had taken it upon himself to steal your suitcase and start walking towards the elevators.
Startled, Maggie giggles behind you at your expression. Breath leaves your mouth in a sort of sigh and laugh, and your tired legs begin to move in his direction. He is already in the elevator, keeping the door open for you.
“Damn your long legs.”
He turns to you once the doors shut, “I hope you have a little bit of energy left in you,”
You look at him confused, “What do you mean?” You know what kind of tone he has, a playful, flirtatious one that makes you blush.
“I guess you'll just have to find out, won't you?” the doors open to the new floor and he darts out, immediately walking in long strides and searching for the correct door. You try to keep up, watching him try the key card on the fifth door down the hall and entering. You walk into the blackness of the room knowing he's just in front of you. He nearly giggles as he turns on the bedside lamp and watches your face scrunch up at the sudden light.
“You could at least warn a girl,” you yawn. Just as described, there is one large plushy looking king bed in the center of the room, a tv mounted to the wall, a little breakfast counter, and a door ajar on the other side, the bathroom.
Vessel drops both of your bags at the end of the bed, “Okay, me first, I need a shower.” he announces. You scoff and nod anyway, both of you taking out your pajamas and toiletries you'll need to set them aside.
Vessel puts his hand on your hip from behind you, the boldest move he’s made yet, “I’ll be quick” is all he whispers near your ear. The warmth of his hand lingers on you even though you hear the door shut. You finally breathe again, you had stood frozen for too long. Is this really happening?
You finally search out the TV remote, finding some mind-numbing home renovation show. You watch a few minutes, zoning out entirely, before the knob of the door twists and you turn your head. Your eyebrows raise at the sight before you.
He is a little damp, clothes in hand, the last few water droplets running down his lean torso, hair scruffy from the towel dry he did before wrapping it lowly around his waist. You almost drool before looking back up to his eyes.
“My eyes are up here, darlin,” he smirks. You feel your entire being light up red hot before you want to implode for getting caught staring at the very… enticing area that he is putting on display. It's not like he wears those pants for no reason at shows, it leaves little to your imagination and he knows it.
You jump up with your head down, grabbing your things and dipping into the bathroom without another word. You shower hot, needing an excuse to be as pink as you were with that fine man that you had been roomed with. Your pajamas were just an oversized Sleep Token shirt and a short pair of plaid shorts.
After scrubbing the day off of you, you change into your pajamas before your hand hesitates at the knob. You breathe out. We are just sleeping. We aren’t even anything yet. Why am I being so dramatic about this?
You summon all of your courage to open the door and look out to see Vessel in bed, scrolling his phone, the room only illuminated by the TV. You put your leftover toiletries and laundry on top of your bag before plugging in your phone and pulling back the covers on the other side.
Vessel looks over to you, “Come here, love”, opening his arms to you. You snuggle into his side and onto his chest, as his hand rubs up and down your back. You involuntarily let out a little sigh of relief, finally you can rest. You fall asleep like that, him holding you close and warm.
You wake up a few hours later, having turned to your side in your sleep, one of his still around your middle and the other under your neck.
You move slightly and become aware of something pressed against your ass. You immediately hold your breath.
You slowly breathe out, and try to inch yourself away. His arm tightens around you. Oh shit, he’s awake.
Like he reads your nervousness, he starts to kiss along the back of your neck to the side, underneath your ear. You shiver at his warm breath.
“Hmm, I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it with your ass backed up to me darling.” You smile and blush at his words, knowing the effect you have on him. He grinds a bit into you as his hand slowly moves towards the waistband of your shorts.
You realize your shirt had bunched up just below your tits just as his other hand reaches up and runs through your hair, long fingers pulling just enough for your head to move back. You turn to your back when he easily grazes over your clit and you clench your thighs together. Vessel gives you a little growl in your ear and your thighs cave open as quick as your resolve.
“I've wanted you for so long, sweet thing, and I've got you all to myself now.” His fingers move in slow, small circles over your clit and your hands go to his bicep, grabbing at him for more. You let out a small moan as you lose yourself in the feeling of warmth of both of his hands touching your body and the building starry sensation in your belly.
You reach down towards his stomach, caressing down, trying to burn the feeling of his skin into your mind before coming into contact with the curls of his hair. You hesitate slightly and he quickly attacks your lips, like he's reading your mind again.
You continue on to wrap your hands around his long, hard dick and begin tugging on it. He smiles against your neck and brings his other hand up under your shirt to massage your tit before pulling your nipple taut and thumbing over the hard bud forming. He does the same with the other while his fingers work their way into your wet cunt, one slender finger at a time.
You are getting impatient now, kissing his lips and neck, sucking his soft skin into your mouth to leave your mark. He lets out a whimper before seemingly regaining control of himself. Noted for future reference.
He slides down your body in a quick moment before licking up your slick cunt, making you nearly cry out. He tongues your entrance before making his way up to your clit and practically latches on. You claw at the bed sheets beneath you eventually finding his grown out hair to pull. You don't know if you want him to stop or if you want more, this is so much better than your own fingers. You buck up into his mouth and he locks his arm around your thighs to keep you from squirming away. That feeling in your stomach is burning.
He makes a few deliberate swipes of his tongue in succession over your clit and he watches that you come undone beneath him. Your eyes roll back, your hips tighten, and you gasp out his name. He keeps his tongue flat against you, tasting your cum before coming up to kiss you.
The moment you taste yourself on him is the moment you feel him press against your swollen pussy. You moan into the kiss, wanting more of him. He grabs himself to properly press his dick into you. He does it slowly, making sure you savor every inch.
“Please, please, Vessel, please”, you beg him.
“Please what, kitten?”, that slow devilish smirk comes back with a vengeance on his wet lips.
“Please fuck me, I need you to fuck me.” You mumble out, embarrassed but full of anticipation.
He thrusts into you fully, making both of you moan out curses. Ves sets a pretty quick pace but makes sure to hit the one spot inside you that makes your pussy tighten around him on every pass. He bottoms out, touching the beginning of your cervix and you see his eyes roll back.
“God, you are better than I ever imagined.'' He reaches his hand down between the both of you to play with your clit again. This time though, your orgasm is quick to approach with him inside of you. His fingers move swiftly as you grind yourself down onto his cock to meet his every thrust.
You are scratching down his back trying to find purchase with how full he makes you feel. Soon enough, the pool of white hot in your belly is overflowing again and he changes the angle just slightly, fucking you through your orgasm. You moan out knowing your pussy is clenching around his dick in a vice grip. Just as you cum around him, he settles deep within you and his fingers dig into your hips. His thick ropes of cum spill into you and he pulls out to leave your cunt messy.
You open your eyes half-lidded after a moment, trying to catch your breath, “Jesus, did you… did you plan that all along?!”
He smiles wide at you, “Which part, the room sharing or the me-getting-you-to-myself?”
“Either?”
“The rooms being short just happened to play into my favor, but I was plotting to get you alone this weekend, my sweet kitten.” He pecks your lips before moving to the bathroom to get a warm towel for you both.
You sigh out as you watch him, “I didn’t know what I was missing out on, really.”
You hear his sweet laugh as he comes back in, gently running the towel over your pussy, cleaning you up. You squirm a bit but are easily distracted by the kisses he leaves on your inner thigh. You let out a small yelp when you feel teeth graze and a quick nip before he pulls away.
He slides in next to you again, pulling you close, “If I have it my way, you’ll be mine forever.”
“I’d really like that,” you murmured against his chest. You feel him press his lips to the top of your head before you fall back into a satisfied dreamless sleep.

The Haunting of Sleep Manor: Chapter I
Tumblr media
For years, Sleep has promised Vessel that he would find a safe haven for himself and the other vessels, a home free from judgement and ridicule where they would be free to be themselves. Through his dreams, Sleep showed Vessel a beautiful home, the perfect solace for the four of them. When Vessel sees Langley Manor listed for sale in a local paper, it feels as if everything is finally falling into place.
Only Langley Manor is more than meets the eye, with plenty of secrets yet to be uncovered.

Tumblr media
The realtor had expressed great concern on the phone with Vessel, insisting that he should come to view the home before making any final decisions. But when he continuously refused a formal tour, she decided it may be best to just keep her mouth shut and accept her commission, letting him discover the truths of Langley Manor for himself. What she didn’t know was that Vessel had visited the property, though not physically, on many occasions. Sleep had taken him there through his dreams, guiding him through its halls, showing him glimpses of what he believed to be a refuge for himself and the other vessels. A place where they could commune with Him in peace, free from the judgemental eyes of prying neighbors and passersby; the desolate region surrounding the manor allowing them ample privacy. When Vessel saw the familiar facade listed for sale in the paper, he dialed the number immediately, not hesitating to purchase the home from his dreams.
They didn’t have much in the way of worldly possessions, so all of their belongings packed neatly into one moving truck. The four vessels of Sleep squished together in the cab as they barreled down the quiet country road. Vessel was humming along to the radio, II lightly drumming along with his fingers against his thigh. IV’s mind had wandered off, his eyes slightly glazed over as he took in the passing scenery, III snoring against his shoulder. At last, they could see the wrought iron gates of Langley Manor, their new home looming at the end of the drive beyond. Vessel veered off the road, pulling up to the gates and shifting the truck into park, causing III to stir from his slumber.
Vessel hopped out of the driver’s door, unlocking the padlock with one of the many keys from the keyring he’d received from the realtor’s office the day before. The old house came with a ridiculous number of keys, he couldn’t even begin to imagine the various secrets locked away inside the home. Sleep wouldn’t have selected just any home, he was sure there was something more to this place than meets the eye. He pushed the gates open at last, quickly making his way back to the truck. The gravel driveway crunched beneath the tires as they entered the grounds of Langley Manor, the vast expanse of land that surrounded the manor house sprawling out in luscious greens before them. The manor house itself stood four stories high, its once bright red brick walls faded beneath years of direct sunlight to a muted rusty hue. Vines of ivy crept up from the ground, draping the house in a shroud of green. Despite the slightly dilapidated exterior of the house, Vessel felt his heart leap in his chest. He could hardly believe that he was finally here, that any of this was real.
They all clamored out of the truck, taking a chance to stretch and breathe before they began to even think about unloading their things. III groaned as he finally stood upright again, his legs severely cramped from the five hour drive from the city. II came to stand beside Vessel, glancing up at his obscured face with careful eyes as he watched Vessel tilt his head back to take in their new home, a deep sigh escaping his chest. II had become skilled in reading his body language over their years together, but there was something new in him now, something II had never seen before. When Vessel turned to look at him, the brightness of his smile made II’s heart skip a beat as he realized what that new emotion was. It was hope.
“What do you think?” Vessel asked softly, eager to hear II’s thoughts on their new home.
“It looks perfect,” II replied, shifting his gaze to look back up at the imposing structure before them. Vessel’s smile spread into an all out grin as he turned his head to see IV staring up at their new home in awe.
“Sure beats that dinky old cottage!” III exclaimed, walking up behind Vessel and II to throw his arms over their shoulders.
“Hey, at least that one was air conditioned.” IV argued, coming to stand on the other side of Vessel as the four of them silently admired Langley Manor. They all knew, as if Sleep whispered it into their ears Himself.
This was their home.
“Shit, Ves. This place is sick.” III added, letting out a low whistle.
“How far are we from town?” IV asked, looking to Vessel.
“About half an hour.” He answered, noting the way IV’s eyes lit up at his reply. As the newest vessel, he was still the most sensitive to the ridicule they were so often subjected to.
“He’s really blessed us this time.” IV mumbled to himself, noting the remains of a long dead vegetable garden to the side of the house. He silently thanked Sleep that they wouldn’t have to venture into town too often for groceries if they could grow some of their own.
“I can’t believe this is ours.” II said in quiet awe.
Vessel felt tears pricking the corner of his eyes, feeling a wave of satisfaction roll over him. He’d finally done it; he’d finally fulfilled the promise he made to the boys so long ago to find them a safe place to call home. They’d tried to build a home for themselves many times, though they always wound up getting chased out of town. People tended to fear things they didn’t understand, and no one ever bothered to try and understand the reasons behind their masks. Not that he expected it to make much difference, he doubted many of their previous neighbors would have been particularly receptive to the message of Sleep. It pained him that the others trusted him so fully to lead them, yet he felt as if he continuously led them in the wrong directions. He’d begun to doubt the visions Sleep had shown to him, and began to believe that maybe there was no safe place for them at all. But finally, here he stood, feet planted firmly on the ground before the home that Sleep promised to them, the home that He told Vessel would be theirs.
“Well, what are we waiting for?” Vessel said, making his way up the front steps. He singled out the master key from the jangling keyring, wiggling it into the deadbolt lock. When he heard the click of the lock disengaging, he turned back to the others before opening the front door, their eyes bright with excitement.
“Come on, let’s see it!” III encouraged, bouncing on the balls of his feet impatiently. Vessel shook his head, laughing quietly to himself as II elbowed him in the ribs. Vessel then dramatically pushed the door open, stepping aside to let them cross the threshold first.
III immediately went up the staircase that led to the second floor, shouting something about wanting to investigate the bedrooms first. IV took more tentative steps inside, being drawn straight to the library directly off the grand foyer. II walked in as if he was entering the home of a new acquaintance for the first time, hands folded behind his back as he admired the large crystal chandelier dangling from the ceiling, then decided to follow III up the stairs. Vessel paused in the doorway, taking a deep breath before he stepped inside.
The moment his foot made contact with the hardwood floor, an oppressive, stifling feeling came over his body. Once he was inside, the door slammed shut behind him, causing him to jump.
“Fuckin’ hell!” He shouted, turning back to look at the door.
“Everything okay?” IV asked, quickly emerging from the library.
“Everything’s fine,” Vessel shrugged, examining the door. “Door’s just real fuckin’ heavy I guess.”
“Suppose we’ll just have to be careful coming in late, then.” IV responded, taking his own look at the large wooden door.
“You want to check out the kitchen?” Vessel asked, and IV nodded his head. “C’mon, I’ll show you.”
As he led IV down the familiar hallway Vessel couldn’t shake the feeling that they weren’t welcome in this place. That oppressive feeling he felt when he first entered wasn’t entirely unfamiliar to him, and he felt a pit forming in his gut. Ever since he surrendered himself to Sleep, he’d found himself particularly attuned to the spirit world. He had become sensitive to the energies of souls that had yet to pass on to the Other Side. Over the years he managed to train himself to ignore it, but something about the way he felt in this house was different, stronger, as if the spiritual energies were amplified. But surely the house wasn’t haunted. There was no way that the house they had dreamed of and waited so long to find would be haunted. Right?
As Vessel pushed open the door to the kitchen, his heart plummeted. Gathered around the kitchen table was a group of five translucent figures. IV gasped when they entered, and for a split second Vessel thought he might see them too, but he instead made a beeline to countertops, investigating the slightly outdated appliances that came with the home. Vessel stood rooted in his spot, eyes locked onto the gaggle of ghosts. One of them, a woman in prim regency attire, scoffed as she watched IV draw nearer, not yet looking at Vessel. She had an air of authority about her, and Vessel assumed she was the matriarch of Langley Manor during her life based on her polished look. Her hair was pinned neatly atop her head, her dress perfectly unwrinkled as if she was ready to sit for a portrait.
“Oh wonderful, more cultists.” She sneered, shaking her head, her eyes scanning IV from head to toe.
“Hey, they might not be like the last ones,” A man said hopefully, watching IV carefully as he examined the pantry space with an almost childlike glee. “They seem nice enough, right?”
“That one’s scary.” A little girl’s voice piped up, and Vessel could just barely see her small hand pointing at him from behind the leg of the kitchen table. He felt a pang of hurt in his chest at her words, his shoulders slumping.
All the ghosts turned to observe him, freezing when they felt the weight of his gaze staring back at them. The man who’d spoken, a tall man dressed in dark coveralls, took a tentative step forward, eyeing Vessel suspiciously. When Vessel took a small step backwards, the ghosts’ eyes widened.
“Can you see us?” He asked, and Vessel nodded, eyes flitting over to IV, who was now opening and closing the various cabinets, checking for anything that may have been left behind by the previous owners.
“He can see us!” The little girl shrieked, shrinking back behind the table leg.
“We want no part in… Whatever it is you’re here to do. We have enough problems of our own and I’m tired of cleaning up your kinds’ satanic messes.” The woman said as she placed her hands on her hips. Vessel just shook his head, not speaking as IV returned to him, eyeing his distressed demeanor carefully.
“Hey, you alright?” He asked, clapping a hand on his shoulder.
“Yeah, no I’m fine,” Vessel reassured him with a half-hearted smile. “Just, uh, think I’m tired from the drive.”
“Are you sure? Because you don’t look so hot.” IV said with concern, eyes narrowing at the beads of sweat forming on Vessel’s neck.
“Just feel a little out of it, is all.” Vessel shook his head, eyes darting behind IV’s shoulder to watch the ghosts, who were still eyeing him with suspicion.
“Well, let’s find you somewhere to lie down.”
Vessel let IV lead him out of the kitchen, casting a final glance behind him at the ghosts as the door swung shut behind them. He took a deep breath and followed IV to find II and III.
Well this should be interesting. He thought to himself.

Summary: A rough tour cycle is weighing on Copia and Ivy just wants to help in any way she can.
Ivy pinched the bridge of her nose as the blank document on her computer screen mocked her. It was times like this when she wished she had never been promoted to handle the tour’s PR. She had been trying to write a statement to present to fans after the disaster of the day for the last hour. Between the weather and the rain-destroyed equipment, that night’s ritual had to be canceled. On top of that was the venue’s mishandling of communication between the banned and the fans. And that was all after having to release a statement about the cancellation of the two Florida rituals because of a hurricane. She couldn’t put into words how devastated everyone was.
The door to the tour bus was slammed open and then shut again. It made her jump, but she calmed herself when she saw Papa Emeritus IV brushing fat droplets of water from his black shirt. Copia’s once combed-back hair was messy and wet, and his skull paint was starting to run down his face. He looked ruinous and Ivy couldn’t blame him one bit. The day was a disaster.
“I told those motherfuckers to tell the fans we had to cancel the show,” he growled as he flopped down on the sofa opposite her. “They gave me the run around with the legal bullshit and left all those people standing in the rain.” He ran this hand over his face, smudging the pain even more. “Our fans deserve better.”
Ivy frowned. “This isn’t your fault. This isn’t the Ghost project’s fault. If anything it’s the venue’s fault. We voiced our concerns about the weather when we got here this morning. And the rituals in Florida? We didn’t know a hurricane would happen when we were working on the schedule.” She knew he was upset and frustrated over having to cancel three shows in a row. He had been in a mood for the last week, ever since they had to cut a show short because of weather and issues with a venue, and now after today, Ivy thought he might implode.
He looked up at her. “I know you are trying to be kind and help, but it isn’t helping so please stop,” he snapped and then immediately looked guilty. “I’m sorry, mi amore , you didn’t deserve that.”
Ivy let out a sigh and shrugged. “It’s fine. I get it. You’re furious. I’m furious. Today was a shit show.” She stood and walked the short distance to him, sitting next to him on the couch and running a hand up and down his back.
“I just can’t believe what a nightmare this tour is turning out to be,” he grumbled, his floured fingers curling into fists. “ Cazzo …”
“Is there anything I can do to help?” She asked. She could feel his anger rolling off him in waves. She had never seen him so upset before. “Anything to make you feel better?”
He turned his head to her and for a second searched her eyes before taking her face between his hands and bringing her lips to his. The kiss was hard. Their teeth clashed and Ivy thought her lips might bruise. She didn’t stop him though. He needed this and she wanted to do anything she could to make him feel better.
“This won’t be gentle,” he all but growled against her lips when the kiss broke. “If it’s too much–”
“I’ll use my safeword,” Ivy finished looking into his eyes. “Do whatever you need. Take whatever you need. I’m yours.”
He let out a deep growl before standing and picking her up around the middle. She wrapped her arms and legs around him as he carried her to the back of the bus where their bed was. He wasn’t gentle about dumping her on the bed and she let out a squeak of surprise. She watched as he began to strip off his clothes and toss them aside. He was already hard and Ivy licked her lips as a flood of liquid heat went straight to her core. Her hands went to the button of her jeans but he batted them away.
“Don’t you dare,” he said, a hand slipping under her shirt. He grabbed her breast and squeezed it. “You don’t get to deprive me of this.” He removed his hands and roughly pulled her pants and panties off in one go. He then tried to take her shirt off but when he got frustrated with the buttons, he ended up ripping the shirt off, the sound of tearing fabric filling the room and sending buttons flying everywhere
“I liked that shirt,” Ivy pouted.
“I’ll buy you a new one,” he grumbled as he unhooked her bra. He tossed it onto the pile of clothing resting on the floor before pushing her flat onto the bed. He crawled onto the bed so that he was braced on his arms hovering over her. She looked up at him and trembled in delight at the look in his eyes.
Copia pressed another bruising kiss to her lips, biting her bottom lip before kissing down her jawline and neck. Ivy let out a soft gasp as he bit and sucked at her skin. She knew her neck would be marked up in the morning but she didn’t care. Her arms wrapped around his neck, holding him close, but he pulled back and peeled her arms away. He took both her wrists in one hand and pulled her arms over her head.
His mouth went back to her neck, trailing kisses and bites down to her chest. Taking one of her nipples between his lips, his hand squeezed and massaged her other breast. She let out a low moan as his tongue flicked over the bud. Before Ivy could relish in the feeling, his mouth was moving further down her body. She could feel his teeth grazing the sensitive skin of her thighs. She resisted the temptation to thread her fingers through his hair.
Just when she thought Copia would torture her with his tongue on clit, he sat back on his knees and looked down at her. She let out a small whimper at the devilish glint in his eyes. Her body ached for him.
He pushed her thighs open wider. “You’re so wet for your Papa,” he said, his hands rough on her skin as he moved to grip her hips, pulling her closer. He lined himself up and pushed into her. There was a pleasant burn as he stretched her and filled her. A moan left Ivy’s lips as she wrapped her legs around him tightly and pushed him deeper.
Copia said nothing and wasted no time as he thrust into her hard and fast. He hadn’t been kidding when he said it wouldn’t be gentle. It wasn’t painful, but it wasn’t the lovemaking she was used to with him. Ivy knew she would ache in the morning and the thought made her smile a little.
“Fuck,” she moaned as he pounded into her. Her head fell back and her mouth open as her moans slipped from her throat.
“Sì, è giusto la mia piccola puttana,” Copia growled as his cock pushed in and out of her. The sound of moans, grunts, and skin slapping together filled the sleeping area of the bus. His pace never faltered as one of his hands left her hips and came up to squeeze her breast. She let out a small whimper at his touch, causing him to smirk. “You make such pretty sounds for me.”
Ivy could feel her climax building as his cock continually hit into her. She felt the searing heat pooling in her, ready to release, but before she could, he pulled out of her. She groaned at the loss but didn’t have time to voice a complaint as he turned her over onto her stomach. He leaned over her, burying his face into her neck, kissing and biting before he nipped her earlobe.
“Get into position,” he growled, sending a shiver down her spine.
She eagerly lifted herself up onto her hands and knees, her fingers digging into the sheets of the bed as he positioned himself behind her. There was a sharp sting on her ass as he slapped it and began to knead it. A soft moan left her as she felt his lips leaving a trail of light kisses down her back before he slammed into her again, nearly pushing her forward into the headboard.
“Copia,” she moaned as he began his unrelenting pace once more. “Please…”
“Please what?” He grunted, his hands gripping her hips so tightly she thought there would be bruises.
“Need to cum.”
“Not yet,” Copia said, his cock burying into her as his hand left her hip and came to her front. He began to rub her swollen clit, making her gasp. “I’m not finished with you yet.”
Ivy cried out, her knuckles turning white from how hard she gripped the sheets as he continued to pleasure her. “Papa, please, I can’t—” She needed release so bad it hurt.
“Then cum for me,” he commanded. “Cum on my cock.”
She felt herself tumbling over the edge, her walls squeezing his cock as his name left her lips over and over again. He continued to fuck her through her orgasm and it wasn’t long after did his thrust begin to slow and become erratic. She felt his cock pulse in her before a low moan left him and he was spilling himself into her, rope after rope. He lazily thrust into her a few more times, muttering praises in Italian she couldn’t make out, before slipping out and collapsing next to her on the bed.
Unable to hold herself up anymore on her trembling arms, Ivy dropped onto her stomach, turning her head to look at him. His hair was a mess and his paint was smeared and running worse than it was before. He got up and disappeared into the tiny bathroom before coming back with a warm damp washcloth. Copia helped her clean up before laying back down on the bed. He stared at her, his breathing still a little labored as he moved a strand of hair from her face.
“ Mi amore ,” he breathed. “I was not too rough?”
“You were wonderful. I enjoyed it,” she said softly with a smile. “How do you feel?” She turned onto her side, resting her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beating hard and fast.
“Better,” he said an arm wrapping around her shoulders and holding her close to him. “I am still upset, but it’s not as bad as before.”
“That’s good,” she said. “Some sleep will help.”
“Ah, cara , there’s still work to be done. We haven’t finished drafting a statement.”
“It’s late, it can wait till morning,” she said, pressing her lips to the 666 tattoo on his peck. “Sleep, it’s been a long day.”
Copia’s lips pressed a kiss to her forehead as her eyes grew heavy and drooped closed.
mi amore-my love Cazzo-fuck Sì, è giusto la mia piccola puttana-yes that's right my little whore cara-darling

Land of the Free and Home the Wayne pt 4
Another chapter today cause I’m a queen.
Previous Chapter
Masterlist
Chapter Summary: Bruce takes the kids to Wayne Enterprises for a tour. Too bad the Waynes never get a break.
The drive was peaceful and there wan’t a lot of talking in the limo with the batkids, Jon, Chloe, Marinette, Sabrina, Adrien, Nino, and Nathaniel. The other limo was total chaos. Screaming, crying, swears, curses thrown in Marinette’s direction, threats, and some of them were even mixed together, like swear curse threats.
They arrived at the tall building in the middle of the city that loomed down on them like the Eiffel Tower. Marinette couldn’t wait to get inside and look around but Lila fell out of the limo next to Marinette and started crying.
“Miss. Bustier Marinette shoved me and I think I broke my ankle,” Lila whined making Jon step out of the limo with Damian and right before the teacher could reprimand Marinette for her behavior Damian interjected.
“Uh, no she didn’t you fell out of the limo on purpose to make Marinette look bad in front of us. The only one who looks bad now is you.” Damian grabbed Marinette by the wrist and took her to the front of the group and grabbed Lila’s shoulder.
“There’s a lot more where that came from liar... oops I meant Lila my bad,” Jon said skipping off to catch up with Damian and the rest of the family.
“This behavior will not be tolerated on the tour so please keep your problems with each other out of these two weeks,” Bruce said already feeling a headache coming on.
They walked inside and Dick, Tim, and Jason all walked over to a special elevator. Dick tried to take Mar’i but she insisted on hanging out with Jon.
“We’ll meet up with you later, Tim said he was gonna show us something right Timmy?” Dick asked and Tim nodded. They had some work to do in reality, they were going to research all of the students and see if there was anything sketchy about any of them.
“Ok boys just don’t bother Barbara she’s been through enough today and she said that quote “if I see any of your boys, I’m quitting my job for good this time.” So just stay away from her office,” Bruce pleaded. He needed Oracle to do her job otherwise he wouldn’t be able to solve cases as fast.
Bruce pulled the kids over to the tour section trying to keep all of them together. Jon and Damian seemed to be filling Mar’i in on something and he didn’t like that his kid was keeping secrets from him. He’d have to pry it out of Jon later the kid wasn’t very good at keeping secrets like Mar’i and Damian.
An AI voice started speaking as the elevator started climbing the levels and at the last floor a huge bang caught the group off guard. Jon surveyed the shaft and there was someone inside who had cut one of the wires and he moved tot he front starting pry the doors open and Bruce moved up too as well as Mar’i. The three got the door open and the students and teacher rushed out but Jon was stuck in the elevator as it fell 82 floors down.
Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin burst through the windows and caught the elevator with their grapplers.
“There’s someone in my building and I want them out now,” Bruce said translating to his kids: there are a bunch of teens who could get hurt, we need to figure out who’s behind this.
“We’ll take care of it Mr. Wayne, Red Robin go get that kid, Red Hood you stay with them, and I’ll go through the shaft to try and find that guy,” Nightwing said and Mar’i and Damian ducked off to get changed.
Red Robin dropped down the shaft and looked at Jon who was groaning on the floor.
“Did that hurt?” Red Robin asked and Jon just nodded. “Yeah 82 floors is a bit much huh?” RR helped Jon up and to the back room to get changed.
Nightwing chased the culprit and was joined by his daughter and Damian.
They stopped and saw Harley Quinn throwing aside a comically large set of wire cutters. “Where’s Jok...” Nightwing was cut off by a swing to the head from the man in question.
Nightstar’s hands lit up green and Robin pulled his sword out.
“Aw kiddos no need to be so rude, Uncle J just wants to put a smile on your...” Nightstar threw a star bolt at him burning his shirt.
“You know there are innocent kids in this building who just wanted to take a field trip right?” Nightstar asked rolling her eyes. Nightwing stood up and got into position next to his two favorite kids.
“Well you should probably find the bomb that I hit in this building then first!” Joker said laughing before getting a kick to the throat by Nightwing and a leg broken by Nightstar.
Harley went to help her puddin’ but was cut short but a foot to the ribs by Robin.
“Yeah, don’t even think about it.”
Nightwing put a finger to his ears. “Did you guys hear that, there’s a bomb in the building.”
“Superboy’s here, he said he can hear the ticking but since Mr. Wayne put lead in the walls, he can’t see where it is.” Red Robin responded internally cursing his caretaker.
“I can hear it but it might take me a second to get to it,” Superboy said through the coms and Red Hood had his turned up so the class could hear it while he just lounged around feet up.
“Aren’t you going to do something about this?” Alya asked panicked.
“Nah, the others can handle it, all they need me for is intimidation and speaking of which. Sit down you brats and stop freaking out...” Red Hood was interrupted by screaming on the coms.
“What’s happening over the Red Robin?” Nightwing asked.
“We found the bomb, unfortunately I can’t disable it and it has twenty, nineteen yeah it’s got seconds left.”
“Screw it.”
“Superboy where are you going!” Red Robin screamed and Superboy never responded but the students saw a red blur flying into the sky with a large device and then saw a giant explosion.
“HOLY SHIT!” Red Hood yelled running to the stairs and down as fast as possible. The students then saw the same blur falling out of the sky and Marinette ran out of the room, transformed, and swooped in with enough time to save him from hitting the ground.
She placed him down and Nightstar and Robin where the only ones there to see it.
“Superboy! Can you hear me?” Robin asked shaking his friend. He was still breathing.
“Wait, who are you?” Nightstar asked grabbing Ladybug’s wrist.
“I’m just a hero trying to make her way in this world just like the rest of you,” Ladybug said before swinging away and the older three of the Batfamily ran over to the sidewalk and Superboy coughed up some smoke and rolled on his side.
“I’m never doing that again,” he said and the bats all let out a sigh of relief.
“Come on, let’s get you back to the manor,” Nightwing said picking him up and carrying him to the batmobile which had arrived a few minutes prior.
The students had all gone back to the manor too after getting a small history lesson. The kids had all come up from the batcave except for Jon who had stayed behind for a while.
Adrien and Marinette were sitting in one of the various living rooms talking about how reckless she was using her powers outside of Paris and almost getting herself exposed.
“It was scary Adrien, I thought that boy was going to die, I had to save him,” Marinette said face in her hands.
“You should get some sleep Marinette, tomorrow is a new day,” Adrien said and she got up and walked to her temporary room flopping into bed.
Adrien sat in the chair for a while longer and he heard a noise and saw the clock open and Jon step out rubbing his face before putting the glasses back on and noticed Adrien and looked at him in horror.
“Did you just walk out of a clock?” Adrien asked and Jon panicked and pulled Adrien to the nearest door before opening it up.
“Of course it’s a damn closet, well whatever.” Jon pushed Adrien in and held a hand over his mouth standing on his toes to reach. “You can’t tell anyone what you just saw and if the Wayne’s knew about this they would kill me!” Jon whisper yelled in case there were any other students taking a late night walk around the manor.
“Yeah, I won’t tell anyone, I promise,” Adrien said starting to figure things out. Jon relaxed and buried his head in Adrien’s chest sighing. Jon and Adrien stood there for a few seconds before Jon stood up “straight” and pushed the door open and saw Damian standing in the living room and he looked over at them.
“What were you two doing in there?”

Little Rose ch. 5
Tumblr media
Warnings: cursing, angst, fighting, overdose, flashbacks(if that’s a warning?), a happy ending..
A/n: I wrote down what this chapter was supposed to be focus on, but I got to writing and the focus changed. This fanfic has really fucked up the original timeline of the band, but it’s fanfic so you gotta do spin offs. Not sure how long, I’ll keep writing for this fic. I love this universe along with my others, I’ve created since bringing my work to the public. I’ll stop talking now. Hope you enjoy! :) sorry i missed any grammar errors, what should be warning. I was starting to have a migrane as I was finishing editing.
I loved being on tour, seeing the world, watching my brother and his band doing what they enjoy so much. This tour was different from any other before, Erin, my sister-in-law is pregnant. Axl had updated me about her and my peanut, Erin had braxton hicks the last couple months. Peanut loved kicking the hell out of her ribs all through the day and night, heartburn from hell, swollen ankles, sore feet. Poor Erin was exhausted and she wasn’t even due for another 3 weeks. Axl had been on edge, worrying that he would miss the birth of his first child. Their manager told him that we would be back in  LA around a week before she was due. It had helped him some but he was still on egg shells, Axl’s behavior was affecting the band. They never seen him so worrisome before, sure that time I had the flu and food poisoning at the same time. We’re all still so young, none of us really knew what to expect with his daughter on the way.
Duff was in the shower, I was sitting at the table that was in our room, looking over dates. Some many shows and interviews, I don’t see how they function this shit especially on tour. “Hey Pumpkin, what are you doing over there?”, Duff said. I looked up to see a white towel low on his hips, “Just passing time. Get dressed, you’re dripping all over the floor”, I said. “When is baby Rose due again?”He asked. “Huh oh uh”, I flipped through the planner. “September 24th, if she’s not stubborn. Poor Erin is miserable right now”, I smiled, thinking of Erin all swollen belly, waddling around, mental cursing Axl for making her pregnant. “Izzy and I are betting against Slash that Axl will faint when he’s in the room with Erin”, Duff grinned. “Don’t do that. They’re both scared having their first kid”, I sighed. “I’m sorry I already put 30 bucks on Axl fainting and Erin crushing his hand”, Duff stuck his tongue out. There was a knock on the door, Duff walked over to answer it.
“Hey Izzy”, Duff said, shutting the door. “Hey Izzy, sleep good?”, I asked, shutting my planner. “We need to talk, Jane”, Izzy gritted his teeth. “What now?”, I sighed, trying to read his body language for signs of withdrawal. Izzy was gonna speak but he fainted, He hit the floor hard and started jerking around. “Izzy!”I ran over to him and tried to get him before he hit the floor.
I looked over at him, his lips were blue, he was fighting for air, his heart was beating hard as I felt his chest. “Shit!”I started to panic, I looked at Duff. He was stunned and rubbing his chest. Possible overdose and panic attack, great. “Duff, baby. I need to breathe okay? Breathe with me”, I said. “1,2,3 and breathe out on 4. Duff, I need to call the front desk and have them get the paramedics here”, I said calmly. Duff walked over to the phone, “Izzy, come on wake up”, I looked for bloody track marks or a needle stuck in his clothes.  “Ma'am, I need you to move for me. Your friend needs help”, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see a tallish, dark haired behind me. “Yeah, sorry”, I said, walking over to Duff. He tears in his eyes, his breathing was out of rhythm again. “Duff, baby I need you to focus on me, okay? Izzy is gonna be alright. Hey look at me”, I whispered, rubbing his arm. “Miss?”, a tiny femme voice asked. I tore my attention from Duff, “Yeah?” “What’s your friend’s name?”She asked. “Izzy Stradlin, 26, April 8th, 1962”, I realized what she was doing. “Okay thank you. What happened? You two didn't take anything right?”
“He came into our room, said he needed to talk to me about something, he collapsed before he got to me and said what he needed. We didn’t take anything. I’m just gonna save you and your partner trouble. Izzy is on heroin and some sorta pills”, I said, looking at Izzy being pulled on the stretcher. “Alright, thank you. I’m sorry you two witnessed his overdose”, She gave a small smile. “Thanks. I have to tell my brother what happened and we’ll be at the hospital”, I said as Izzy was pushed out of the room. “What the hell?!”, I heard Axl yell. “Janiee!!”He rushed into the room. “What happened to Izzy?”, Axl yelled. “Knock it off, you’ll trigger another panic attack for Duff. Izzy collapsed when he came in here, apparently it’s an overdose according to the medics. Axl, I’m so scared”, I cried, Axl pulled me into his arms. “Shhh, it’s okay. We’ll go see Izzy when we can. I’m not gonna let him join the 27 club a year early or ever”, Axl brushed my hair.
The doctor finally told us what happened to Izzy, he swallowed his entire pill stash, overdosed into a coma. Highly recommend we cancel our show this week. “You can go see him, but one at a time”, the doctor said. “Janie, you go”, Axl gave a weak smile. “Alright”, I turned the knob and shut the door behind me. Izzy laid still on the bed, wires stuck in him, IV bag by his beside with other machines. His face was pale like a ghost, he looked skinnier than usual. “Izzy, it’s me Janie. Can’t believe you overdosed, I thought you were wanting to get clean. You were over the heroin shit and you started pills. Please wake up Izzy! I need you just a bit longer, you’re my big brother. Who else is gonna listen to me when I’m pissed off at Duff?”, I held his hand. Machines just beeped and oxygen was flowing in his nose. “I read where coma patients can hear what’s going around them. I hope you can hear me because I want you to know that I love you very much. Please get better soon. I’m gonna go now, Axl will be pitching a fit if he doesn’t get to see you”, I smiled.  “Normally you would bitch if I hugged you without asking, but tough shit”, I walked up his bed, to hug him. I held Izzy to me the best I could. His heart was still beating fast, but was slower than this afternoon. His bourbon, smoky, vanilla scent was comforting as always but I was the one having to comfort him.
“You okay?”, Duff asked. “Oh yeah, I just hate seeing him like that”, I said. “I’m gonna see him now”, Axl whispered. I slid down the wall and brought my knees to my chest. Duff pulled me into his lap, “Is he gonna be okay? He looks so pitiful, Duffy”, I asked, holding his hand. “He’s a fighter, little scrappy but yes, he’ll be okay. I know you told him to get better, he always listens to you. Izzy bitches about it but he does it anyways”, Duff whispered. “Yeah”, I smiled a little
 “Now, Janie, I have a friend coming over. Please don’t bother us, I don’t want the little sister crap.”, Bill said. “Alright Billy, I’ll stay out but I wanna meet the poor soul that decided to be friends with you, chicken legs”, I rolled my eyes. “Fine, you can say hi but then you go to your room or go talk to Amy”, Bill groaned. The doorbell rang, “I got it”, Bill said, racing to the door.  “Hey, glad you could make it.”, Bill said. “Hey. Sorry it took so long, mom wasn’t at home. She doesn't like my brothers to be alone”, a voice said. “I understand that. I have three siblings”, Bill laughed. Bill’s friend walked in as Bill shut the door. “This is my younger sister, Janet, but we call her Janie for short”, Bill said, rolling his eyes. “Hi”, I blushed. “Hi yourself. My name’s Jeff, but everyone knows me by Izzy”, the brown headed boy said. Izzy was looking at me, I felt weird and pulled my sweatshirt sleeve down. “Alright, Janie. Leave now”, Bill said.
Another flashback
I was searching for Bill, he was nowhere to be found. “You promised me that you would bring me home, Billy”, I cried even more. My boyfriend had broken up with me because he wanted Jackie Anderson, head cheerleader. I passed the bleachers heading towards home. “Janie?”, I heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Izzy with the stoners(his buddies) and Pam Macy hanging on his arm. “Hey, what happened? You’re crying”, Izzy threw his cigarette bud down and walked towards me. “Eric broke up with me. Said I wasn’t good enough and that I wasn’t a cheerleader, he wanted to be with the head cheerleader instead.”, I tried to hold my tears back. “I’m sorry Janie, he was an asshole anyways. You’re a good girl and any guy would be lucky to have you. It’s his lost and Bill and I hated him.”, Izzy reached up to pet my hair. “Thanks Iz. I’m gonna go home now”, I tried to push by him. He had my wrist, “Come on, I’ll take you for food. My treat”, Izzy smiled. “What about Pam?”, I asked. “You’re my favorite girl and you’re heartbroken, I gotta pay attention to you now”, Izzy smirked.
“You’ve never listened to the Stones? Janie!”, Izzy threw his head back groaning. “I’m sorry that my step dad thinks that rock n’ roll is devil’s music”, I said. The bell rang, someone had walked in. “Janie! There you are!”, Bill said, rushing to our table. “Bill, lay off. I found her”, Izzy said. Bill looked at my face, “What happened? You were crying” “Eric broke up with me today for a cheerleader”, I said almost crying. “She passed the bleachers and I saw her. I decided to bring her for food”, Izzy said. “Thanks Izzy. I’m sorry about Eric, he was just an asshole anyways”, Bill pulled me into his chest. “Izzy said the same thing”, I said. “I know, I was at the meeting”, Bill laughed. I looked at Izzy and smiled. He winked at me.
That was when I realized  Izzy was the older brother I always wish I had besides Axl. He was protected and took care of me, I love him for it. “Janie”, Axl said. “Yeah?”, I looked up at him, Duff was holding his hand out for me. Management had come to me about Izzy overdosing well fainting in my room. They wanted to know if I knew what caused Izzy to swallow his entire pill stash. I decided to turn on the radio for a while, sure enough ‘Paint it Black’ came on. First Stones’ song Izzy showed me, it was in his car when he brought me to smoke weed with him near Chicago.
It had been 96 hours since Izzy was in a coma, he finally woke up and we all rushed to the hospital to see him. “Janie, you go in first”, Axl said. “Why? He’s your best friend”, I sassed. “Lady’s first”, Slash grinned. “Fine”, I walked in. There was a nurse taking Izzy’s vitals when I walked in. “Are you family?”, The blonde nurse asked. “Baby sister”, Izzy answered before I could think of something. “Oh well. I’m done here for now, you can come see your brother”, She smiled. “Thank you”, I said. “Hey Kid, just woke up from a killer nap”, Izzy joked. “Jeffery Dean! You fucking overdoesed because you decided to swallow your pills like candy. Don’t joke about that, you could have actually died. You know what? Fuck your joke, you had us worried to death. Izzy, you fell in mine and Duff’s room in front of us. You came in and said you had something to tell me. Duff barely closed the door before you collapsed on the floor”, I was fuming. “I’m sorry Janie. Management told me to get rid of them, housekeeping found one of my stashes. I panicked.”, Izzy said. “So instead of flushing them like a normal person you popped them like Tic Tacs like some manic?”, I rolled my eyes. Izzy stayed silent. “Your turn Ax”, I said walking out.
Axl and the boys walked in and I decided to go get a coffee from downstairs. I walked up to the nursing station, “Uh hi. Do you have any idea when Izzy Stradlin is being discharged?” “Hi, what’s the birthday?”, a petite brunette smiled. “7-8-62”, I nodded. “Looks like he needs a doctor to talk to him about his overdose and a last check up then he should be released maybe this evening”,She said. “Are they gonna send him to rehab?”, I asked. “Looks like it might be possibly, he was in a coma for 4 days”, She said. “Are you his girlfriend?”She stood up. “No, more like the baby sister he never had”, I gave a small smile.  “Janie?”, Steven said. “Yeah? Izzy okay?”, I walked over to him. “Izzy’s fine, but we need to talk to you”, Steven said. “Okay”, I followed behind. “Listen, this is your sister, friend and now girlfriend talk not our assistant right now”, Steven stopped, before we reached Izzy’s room. I nodded my head. Everyone was sitting down, Izzy was lying down. “Hey”, I shut the door.
“What happened four days ago was hell, we almost lost Izzy. After, you left Izzy told us how you yelled at him for his drug stash. We’ve made the decision to go to rehab together”, Axl said. “That’s great, but you have a kid on the way.”, I said. “We’re going after she’s born, pretty sure Izzy is going first anyways. We’re gonna go to the same place together”, Axl reassured. “Not to be a bitch, but why was I brought into this. This is a band thing not the singer’s sister and the band”, I looked at Izzy. “You’ve been here since the beginning, we value your opinion”, Slash finally spoke up from leaning on the wall. The doctor came into the discharge Izzy, the band went different ways.  “Seeing Izzy overdose in our room, you run to him with fear in your eyes. I realized that I don’t want that to be me and you freaking out”, Duff said. “Not sure what to say, but I really hope you guys get clean and stay clean. I don’t want to lose my boys so soon”, I hugged him. “You can’t get rid of me that easy, Janie”, Duff held me. “Good, I don’t want to get rid of you yet either”, I said, inhaling his scent.
Izzy got discharged and we flew back to L.A. before Erin gave birth. Almost 5 days that we got back, Erin gave birth to the new addition to the Guns N’ Roses’ family.  Sarah Aless Rose-Everly, 7lbs and 4oz.

Could you do an a-z for dating dean please? I loved tom’s! 😍
i really enjoy writing these :) ive got a george one requested so i will be doing that later. hope you enjoy this one anon :)
a - argue
like the mature adults you guys are, any argument results in silent treatment till one of you realises your fault and apologises. sometimes it takes other people to point out your mistakes, but in the end you would talk it out, make compromises and understand your differences. a little goes along way with you and dean.
b - body (his favourite body part of yours)
dean likes your hands. he likes how they move to cup his face when you kiss, he likes how your fingers move effortlessly across your keyboard when you’re typing, he likes how they wrap around things ;) he likes how they fit perfectly in his and he likes how they run over the surface of his back.
c - care (caring for each other when you’re sick)
you both spend a lot of time away from each other, as he is away filming a lot and you are at uni or doing coursework. when you do get to spend time together and it happens that someone is ill, you’re still going to spend as much time together as physically possible. you’ll spend the day in bed, wrapped up warm. If you’re ill, dean wants to treat you like a queen. under no circumstances are you to leave the bed, unless it’s for the toilet, and even then, he keeps an eye on you to make sure you don’t pass out on the way. he’ll cook you food and bring you painkillers as often as needed. when he’s ill, you’ll do mostly the same, perhaps try and move him to the sofa or go for a walk for some fresh air.
d - dates (what do you guys do?)
to the start of your relationship, dean preferred to take you on high key fancy restaurants, but once you were comfortable settled together you’d go on cafe dates in-between lectures or just stay home and watch movies with some takeaway food.
e - engagements (how he proposed)
dean had taken you to venice for your birthday, and spent the entire week spoiling you,as he usually would much to your protests. on the last night before you flew home, you went for dinner and on the way home, he took you to a cute little bridge, tucked away from the main town. whilst you were distracted by the stars appearing in the orange sky, he got down on one near and called out your name to gain your attention.
f - friends and family (do they like you/him?)
his parents loved you. his mum and you often cooked together whenever you visited for dinner, or you and his dad would talk about politics or the football. His little sister liked having a female around that was closer to her age, you were more of her friend than her sister-in-law. your parents liked dean, he was the most respectable boy you’d ever dated and they could see how happy he made you. out of each of your friendship groups, you both were the longest to be single, so your friends were just happy to see you not crying over some failed fling.
g - gifts
as dean was away for filming a lot, he often wanted to remind you of how much he loved you by getting flowers delivered to your house and when he was done filming, he’d sometimes brought back bits of set or props that he thought you would like. being a broke student meant that sometimes the only gift you could send would be some lovely photos specially for him ;)
h - how you met
often, your uni would use it’s rooms to host interviews for press tours, or q&a halls. the uni offered pay for a group of people to set up the rooms and pack up at the end so you volunteered. tt was here you ran into george and dean as it was a 1917 q&a. they were lost so you helped direct them to the room they needed to be in. dean actively stalked you down after the interview and asked if you’d want to go for coffee with him and you hit it off from there.
i - intimacy (how often are yall getting down)
whenever, wherever. he’s down. the amount of time you spend apart just builds up your need to be together, so you grasp at any chance you can to be physically intimate with one another. it’s when you’re bored of a tv program, or he’s wearing a suit, you get the gist.
j - jealousy
you get fairly jealous as dean works around and with a lot of people you believe to be better, prettier, that yourself. as much as dean reassures you, you can’t help yourself from wondering if he’d ever leave you for one of the actress he work with. dean doesn’t tend to be massively jealous, but the more time he spends away from you, the more jealous he gets. he fears that you will find someone who can be in your life more permanently and physically than he can.
k - kinks
dean likes edging/control. he loves to see you struggle to contain your release until he says so, and he loves to take you beyond the point of pleasure till you’re literally begging to cum.
l - long distance
with dean working away so much, long distance gets hard. Sometimes he manages to come home for the weekend, but he could be gone for 3 months at a time. every night, you facetime or call each other whilst just going about your daily routine together, as if he was there. just hearing each others voices daily was enough to keep you going till you saw each other again.
m - moving in
there was never really a point where you moved in with him. your stuff just started manifesting it’s way into his house, to the extent you’d spend ages searching your room for it only to realise you’d left it at dean’s. once you were going into your second year at university, you’d been with dean for almost a year and he just kind of suggested that you live with him to avoiding massive bills for uni halls, but everyone knew it was a ploy to be able to spend more time with you.
n - nights out
as a student, nights out were key to social engagements. so, your group of uni friends and their partners would head out to a local pub and spend the evening chatting drinking or playing darts. you’d both stumble home at the early hours and wake up several hours later with a pounding hangover.
o - open with each other
whilst he was away, it was hard to be fully open with each other, knowing that anything bothering you would just upset each other further as you couldn’t be with each other at the time. once he was home, however, it was easy to spend hours wrapped up together talking about anything that was on your mind.
p - pda
neither of you are particularly into massive displays due to the public eye being on you more often than not, but a simple hand hold or peck didn’t go amiss. dean preferred to save all of his affection for home, where he could properly show you how much you meant to him.
q - questions (what you talk about late at night?)
let’s be honest, you would go into any massively deep conversation it’d be more along the lines of “how was your day? what did you do?  did I ever tell you about the time that...” but it was the small moment s like that that counted.
r - reproduction (do you want kids?)
not at this point in time, as it is the start of your careers and you’re both pretty young but you had discussed it a little. if it was to happen by surprise, you’d both embrace it but one day down the line you fully plan to have atleast a child if not more.
s - surprising (what surprised you about him)
the simplicity of his happiness. it doesn’t take much to make dean smile, or let out a little laugh but every time he did you feel a surge of happiness rush through yourself. to see him happy made you happy, so you’d strive to do that as much as humanly possible.
t - together (what you do together)
you guys like watching movies, which isnt surprising given the nature of deans job. you also like to spend quite a lot of time in the bedroom ;)
u - under the influence (drunk vibes)
it was rather common that you’d be out separately, you out with uni mates or him with co stars. drunk calls were the best, both of you becoming the funniest people alive whilst intoxicated. when he chose to stay home and you’d make you way back, fumbling to get the keys in the lock subsequently waking him up, he’d come to you and put you in bed. he’d make sure there was a glass of water and painkillers and a bowl near your head. you’d do the same, but drunk dean is flirty dean and whilst you were trying to change him into sleepable clothing, he’d make comments like “at least by me dinner first”
v - vacations
a lot of your holidays were spent on set with him, but sometimes you’d go abroad to malta or somewhere remote. you preferred quiet, adventure holidays than expensive beach holidays.
w - wedding
you had the cutest wedding ever. it was in this converted barn, with both your families and friends attending and the reception was basically a massive party in very fitting taste for you and dean.
x - xray (when he’s hurt)
dean injured himself on set of 1917, where he slipped down a trench and twisted his ankle fairly bad. because of it, he was sent home for two weeks to recuperate, where you literally tended to his every need. you brought him food, drink, medication and care to the point where he literally had to make you spend time on your other work rather than him for some time. normally it would just end in you falling asleep, cuddling on the sofa, in your living room.
y - you (a random headcanon)
you’d had a long and bad day at uni, so you came home stressed out of your mind, muscled tensed and a pounding headache. the moment you stepped foot into the flat, you bag dropped to the floor and shoes kicked to the side, you walked into the living room where dean looked up at you and sent you a small smile. he noticed the fatigue in your eyes and posture, moving to pat his lap for you to sit on. You found your way onto his lap, legs wrapping around his waist as he moved to lay down. you hands moved under his back to hold him properly and one of his arms snaked around your waist, the other moving to brush a hand through your hair. his head lifted up slightly to press a kiss onto the top of your head.
“bad day?”
“very. but it’s slightly better now.”
“you’re very welcome babygirl”
z - zzzzzzzzzzzz’s (sleeping routine)
dean would be in bed before you every night without fail as you’d be sat doing coursework till late. but he always stayed awake till you made your way into the room and held out his arms for you to climb into and rest your head on his chest. his hands would go straight to your hair and brush through them softly, lulling you into a deep sleep that he too would fall into soon after you.

David Bowie - Glass Spider Live In Montreal ‘87
From the Loving The Alien box
DB on audience expectations: “I guess that they come along to see whether I’ll fall down or something. I really don’t know. I know that they get what they consider is a really good performance. I think that over the years I’ve proved that I do my best to provide them with some new vision of musical information on the stage. So I think there’s probably that element in it, but I couldn’t go any further than that. I really don’t know what they want from me. I’ve never really been able to write for them. I’ve only written and performed that which interests me. So essentially they have an agreement with me and that’s great. I mean, I’ve lost audiences many times over the years, and they’ve come back for one reason or another. Ive sort of got that mutual agreement with them. If it’s not going very well then they stay away. Which is fair enough, you know.”
This tour was my first live DB show so it holds plenty of memories. Still, I skipped the 2007 DVD/CD from EMI, so I had only heard boots up until this box set inclusion. This triple LP, sounding fabulous as expected, was originally mixed by Bob Clearmountain and remastered in 2018 by Ray Staff. All instruments are balanced well, and overall I’d argue this is a better show than it gets credit for. Sure some of the spoken-word dialog breaks a little silly in parts, especially with no visual, but there are some pretty deep tracks in here. Absolute Beginners, All The Madman, Sons Of The Silent Age, Time and more. For all the movement and choreography that was expected of them, the band is very tight, tempo conscious, and extremely professional. The NLMD tracks rock as they should and remind that the original album’s production was a little tepid in that regard. Funny, hearing this version of Bang Bang, all I can think of is Tin Machine. I think DB telegraphs his future consciously as well as unconsciously in many ways.
This tour was an intense undertaking for it’s time and it’s influence is still impactful today on large venue productions. It was also packed with oddities. Bowie himself talked about the stress he took on as “dangerous” and it’s physical toll was obvious to his colleagues. The tour alternated between indoor and outdoor venues which offered unique challenges with the set itself and tricky audio considerations. There were crew injuries and a death, both from falls. A fan drowned in the River Boyne trying to swim to get backstage access to the Slane Castle show. There were multiple rioting situations and police clashes, one in Rome that had DB singing through tear gas. And on June 16th, a bomb scare forced their plane to return - which turned out to be a ruse by the local police chief to secure an autograph - about which Bowie said “that could only happen in Italy!” DB became engaged to one of his dancers, Melissa Hurley, during this tour, as well as fending off a false allegation of sexual harassment after a show in Dallas - a grand jury clearing him of all charges. Carlos Alomar suffered a serious leg injury that required a change in his character for the stage show/narrative - a “mad, limping Mad Max reject” as Alomar described it. Bowie claimed he was exhausted even before the debut of the show, so the ritualized burning of the Spider set after the last show in New Zealand had to be heavy. “It was so great - we just put the thing in a field and set light to it. That was such a relief!”
As is somewhat typical in the DB universe, fans were thrilled, critics were harsh - but that see-saw continues to move and now you’ll often hear fans dump on this stuff while critics dig deeper and pin a change-of-heart broach to their chests. Wherever you find yourself, there are some wonderful live interpretations of great songs on this record, and it’s legacy serves as a reminder that as effortless as David Bowie can make his craft appear, there is back-breaking and potentially soul-crushing hard work underneath.

"Warped tour here we come". You cheered as you started loading your bag into the tour bus.
"This year is going to be great". Chris kissed your lips.
"And why is that"?
"Because you're here and we can have tons of sex".
"That's the only reason"?
"No, I'm glad you're here with me. We get to spend time together and go to concerts like normal couples".
"That sounds truly romantic, Chris. I love you".
"I love you too". He kissed you again, picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder smacking your ass on the way to the door.
"Crazy goon, put me down". He threw you on the couch. You landed with a thud and your head landed in Ryan's lap.
"Hi there". You smiled looking up at him. Ryan was not impressed.
"Hi".
"Chris come get your girlfriend out of my lap and put her in yours".
"She's yours. I need a break she's been on my lap all night". Chris laughed as you gasped getting off Ryan.
"You liar. He's been in my lap the whole night".
"I really don't want to hear about your sex life. Please shut up".
"Oh Ryan, you love me".
"The jury is still out on that". Ryan chuckled as he went back to his phone.
"Babe, I'm going to lay down for a bit". You told Chris.
"You okay. Don't tell me you're getting sick we just started warped tour".
"No just tired. I didnt get much sleep last night". You winked at Chris as Ryan groaned.
"I'm still here hearing about your sex life".
"Good night". You kissed his lips and headed off to his bunk.
You must have slept for hours because when you woke up you were already there. The guys were walking around getting to know the band's that were playing.
Getting out of bed your head started to feel dizzy as you stood up. You quickly sat back down. Feeling nauseous and light headed you crawled back into bed and tried going back to sleep. You shrugged it off as the motion of the bus moving.
"Y/N"? Feeling a hand shake you a groan came from you.
"What"?
"You're missing all the fun". It was Chris.
"I'm not in the mood for fun. I don't feel good".
"What's wrong"?
"I think the bus ride made me dizzy and nauseous".
"Yeah that can happen if you haven't been on a long bus ride before. It will get better. You need anything"?
"No I'm good. Going to try and sleep some more".
"Okay. Rest well". Chris kissed your temple and rubbed your leg before leaving.
The night came Chris and the band were back inside they were up front talking and laughing. A very awful taste came into your mouth as you were sleeping. You tried swallowing it down but the more you swallowed the stronger the urge got to throw up.
"Oh fuck". You covered your mouth throwing yourself off the bed and leaped over the piles of bags and clothes in the floor and bolted to the bus bathroom.
Blech blech. The sounds of your lunch hit the toilet. Your eyes were watering and you throat burned.
"What is that"? Ricky asked, quieting everyone down.
"Everyone's here". Balz looked around.
"Y/N". Chris yelled sprinting to the bathroom. He knocked on the door.
"Y/N, you okay"?
"No". You gagged as a piece of food got stuck in your throat.
"I get you a sprite and some crackers". You heard him walk away.
"What's happened"? Ricky questioned.
"She's sick. I think she has motion sickness from the bus". Chris grabbed a can of sprite and a sleeve of crackers heading back to you.
"Hope she feels better".
Chris knocked again then came in. You sat on the floor with a rag on your face.
"Here you go". Chris popped the top on the can and handed it to you.
"Thanks". You cleared your throat. It was hurting and you sounded terrible. You haven't thrown up this much since the last time you got food poisoning at the seafood restaurant that Chris took you for your birthday six months ago.
"I'm sorry". He crouched beside you. Removing the wash cloth you eyed him.
"It's not your fault. I'm just not use to it like you are. I'll be better tomorrow".
"Do you need anything like motion sickness medicine"?
"No. Just leave me the bathroom, keep me in sprite and just love me".
"I can do that". He chuckled.
"Oh and guess what"?
"What"?
"Slipknot is playing one show here. They're the special guest".
"No f-ing way".
"So you need to get better. I want to take you to their concert".
"I'm already better. It's a date". You blew a kiss to him when he closed the door checking on you before he left.
Two days have past and you sickness hasn't stopped. Chris was getting worried but you just shrugged it off until you felt you threw up a lung. Your back hurt and you didn't feel like yourself.
"I'm taking you to the hospital". Chris grabbed your bag and started putting clothes in it.
"I'm not going to the hospital. I'm fine. This will pass".
"You haven't ate a proper meal in three days. You live on sprite and crackers. That's not healthy".
"Chris".
"Please go. For me"? He looked at you with those puppy dog eyes.
"Fine but under one condition".
"What"?
"You can't go". Chris shook his head.
"No, I'm going to be there. What if something is wrong"?
"Then I will call you".
"What if you dont have time? They will take you to surgery and I will never know".
"I'm going alone or not at all".
"Okay you dont want me to go the you're going with Ryan".
"Ryan"?
"Yes".
"Ask him, he's going to say no".
"Ryan will you take Y/N to the hospital"? Chris asked Ryan who was sitting in his bunk playing a game.
"Yeah".
"Ryan you're supposed to say no".
"You really need to go. I will wait out in the waiting room for you".
"Fine. Let's go". You groaned. Getting out of your nice warm bunk.
Ryan and you waited in the waiting room what seemed like forever but it was only twenties minutes. You had thrown up six times in that time. The nurse was afraid you would pass out.
"We are the only ones here what is taking so long"? Ryan bounced his leg.
"We might be the only ones you see but this hospital is probably filled with a lot of people. If you don't want to be here then you can go"?
"No, I told Chris I would take you and I am".
"I just hate hospitals".
"I know. Me too. Just relax and play on your phone".
"It dying". Ryan huffed.
"Here play on mine". You handed him your phone.
"Thanks".
"Miss Y/L/N"? A nurse called you.
"Here". You smiled at Ryan and followed the nurse. Ryan sat there quietly playing on your phone, texting Chris every few minutes with up dates.
"So miss Y/L/N, what brings you in here today"? Your doctor asked as she looked at your chart.
"I'm on tour with my boyfriend and we ride in a tour bus so the day we got to the site I got this feeling of nausea and I was dizzy. I thought it was just motion sickness but this has been going on for three days now, it's gotten worse and it doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon".
"Okay, lets take a look at you and see what we can do". You laid down on the exam table. She lifted up your shirt and started touching your stomach.
"I'm guessing you are sexually active"?
"Yes but we always use condoms".
"Are you on birth control"?
"No, I have really bad side effects in using birth control so I don't take any".
"Okay".
"I'm going to run a few test and see maybe something will show up".
"Fine".
The nurse came and drew blood and she hooked you to a IV you were dehydrated from all the throwing up.
"Everything has came back normal except one".
"Oh god".
"You're pregnant. Congratulations".
"What? How? I mean I know how but woah".
"I'd say you're about six months".
"Six months"?
"Yes".
"Can you get morning sickness after you find out"?
"Some have morning sickness through out the pregnancy and others only get it some on and off". "Why do ask"?
"Six months again I got food poisoning or could I have been pregnant at the time and it was just telling me and I didn't listen"?
"You may have been. Did you go to the doctor"?
"No. It was over in twenty-four hours".
"Then you may have been. It's highly likely".
"This is insane, really". Your mind was blown.
"Do you want to keep it"?
"Yes. Yes. I'm happy its just very unexpected thats all". "I came in here thinking I'm dying and I'm just pregnant".
"How did I not know"?
"The baby was probably playing hide and seek with you coming out at night and hiding during the day. Has you appetite increased"?
"Yeah but I was under stress so I thought stress eating".
"Well you're pregnant and not dying so you're boyfriend is going to get a shock of his life". She said with a chuckle.
"Yeah he is".
After the doctors you went to get something to eat. She had given you motion sickness pills to help you eat. Ryan was asking all sorts of questions on the way there.
"Are you okay"?
"Ryan yes. I'm just hungry". You said taking a bite out of your burger. "Mmmmmm, so good".
"Did she drug you"?
"No".
"Then why all of the sudden can you eat"?
"She gave me motion sickness meds and I'm pregnant".
"What"!!
"I'm pregnant and if you tell Chris before I do you'll never be able to play a guitar again".
"What"?!!! He was stunned. It wasn't even his kid and he was shocked.
"I'm pregnant". You took the last bite of your burger.
"I didn't know you two were trying"?
"We weren't. It just happened. Can you get me another burger"?
"Here you can have mine". Ryan handed you his burger.
"You think its a bad idea that I keep the baby"?
"No, I just can't believe that Chris is the first one to have a kid. I thought it would be Ricky or Vinny".
"Vinny? He's still a kid". You giggled.
"Exactly, they can learn to grow up together".
"Seriously though, I'm happy for you". He gave you a shy smile.
"Thanks Ryan".
"Now let's get you back before Chris has my head".
"Do you know the stage manager for slipknot"?
"Yeah"?
"Can you give them a call? I need to talk to them".
"Okay"? Ryan took out his phone and handed it to you. The drive back to warped tour you were planning something for Chris.
"Y/N". Chris wrapped his long arms around your waist.
"How did it go"?
"I was dehydrated and she just gave me meds for the nausea".
"That's all"?
"Yeah". You looked at Ryan who was hiding his face. He really couldnt keep a secret as big as this from Chris.
"Ryan"?
"Yeah, everything's good. But...". You gulped when Ryan said but.
"She has her appetite back so we may need more food". Thank God he didn't say anything.
"I figured she would. Im glad you're fine". "Are you ready to party tonight"?
"Yeah, I'm waiting for that date".
"They're about to go on. You want to head over there"?
"Yeah". You wrapped your arm around his waist his arm around your shoulder and walked to the Slipknot stage.
"Come on". You pulled Chris to the back with the Slipknot crew.
"We can't be back here". Chris sneaked in as you giggled.
"Y/N"? The manager waved you over.
"Wait, you know him"? Chris was in aww.
"Hey there".
"After the last song you can go on there".
"Thank you so much".
"No problem". He said with a smile.
"You're fucking kidding me? We're going on stage with Slipknot"? Chris was acting like a kid in a candy store.
"Yes".
"How"?
"I have connections". Chris kissed you hard and passionate.
It was the second to last song. You and Chris were rocking out to one of Chris's favorite songs. You're surprised Chris hasn't gotten whiplash but you'd worry about that later. He was is happy.
You could hear Corey tell the audience that the lead singer of Motionless in white is coming on stage with his girlfriend.
"That's your queue". The manager pointed to the front.
"Lets go". You grabbed Chris's sweaty hand and pulled him on stage. His face was frozen. He was nervous being there with a person he looked up to.
"Hi ya doing Chris"? Corey asked.
"Great". Chris mumbled into the mic.
"Wonderful, now this little lady has something to tell you". He handed you the mic.
"Chris, I'm having so much fun with you in this fairy tale and I think it's time we add a new chapter to it".
"I'm pregnant".
Chris starred at you with a blank expression. You understand that it was a shock but this was funny.
"You okay there pal"? Corey asked Chris who nodded and mumbled a few words.
"You sure, do we need a medic"?
"No".
"So, what do you think"?
"We're going to need a bigger tour bus". Chris ran his hand through his hair.
"Yeah but are you happy"?
"Yes. Fuck yes". He hugged you tightly swirling you around on stage.
"Give a round of applause for the new parents". Corey clapped. Chris quickly hugged him and squealed. You didn't know if he was happy about the baby or hugging Corey Taylor.
"I'm so fucking happy". Chris screamed, you giggled hugging him.
"I love you".
"I love you too". Chris kissed you sweetly with his hand on your belly.
Chris was truly happy until you told him that you were six months along then he fainted. He thought he had some time to get  things ready but the baby would be here in no time. The guys still couldnt believe that Chris was the first to knock a girl up and become a dad when you told them.

The Angel’s Share, pt 5
Tumblr media
Part I / Part II / Part III / Part IV
Eddie owed her Friday nights off for a month. Maybe two, depending on how this visit went.
Her train to the countryside the following Friday afternoon was just pulling out of the station when her phone had vibrated. She reread the text message again, hoping that maybe it would change upon second glance: Sorry, Kate, still dealing with half the staff getting over being sick. It was go in or close the pub for the weekend. Try not to kill him; there’s a lot of paperwork involved if you want to employ criminals.
Another text followed five minutes later: Let me live, too. Please? I’ve got kids.
“If by kids, you mean cats, then I guess,” Kate muttered, rolling her eyes and letting her head fall against the sun-warmed glass of the window, wondering how staunchly she would have to follow that last command. Eddie had probably purposefully waited until after the train had left before he sent the text so that she had no choice but to go on the journey, alone. She could turn back around once the train stopped, head back to London and pretend this weird arrangement never happened.
But that was the coward’s way out, and she wasn’t going to let the thought of spending the weekend at a stuffy, unbearably stiff country estate and distillery - if indeed there was one and Sharpe wasn’t bluffing - send her running scared with her tail tucked between her legs.
Two hours later, she stopped reading her book - a tight Swedish thrilled tipped for the Booker prize - on her phone as the scenery outside slowed, the gently rolling green hills stretching for as far as the eye could see. For someone born and raised in London, it was odd to see so much open space. Even the air smelled better, crisp and pure, as she stepped out onto the open-air platform. It was warm, clean, the faint smell of grass that had been freshly cut mingling with the less-than-pleasant smells of the station.
Hoisting her duffel bag over her shoulder and her large black purse over the other, she set off toward the taxi line. Just before the exit, though, stood several groups waiting for the arrivals of their loved ones. And one man, dressed elegantly in a fine black suit with a flat cap to boot - seriously?! - held a sign with her name on it.
“Just couldn’t help but show off, could he?” she grumbled at the man, strolling up to him. “I’m Katherine Adams. I’m assuming you’re taking me to the Sharpe Estate?”
It was hard to tell his age behind his sunglasses, but the driver’s smile was kind when he offered his hand to take her luggage from her. She only adjusted it on her shoulder more resolutely, waving in the direction of where she assumed the waiting car was parked.
“Yes ma’am. They are very much looking forward to receiving you. If you’ll just pop your baggage in the boot, we can get going.”
She followed him up to a sleek black car, clearly expensive at one point, although even her less-than-knowledgeable eye could see that it was a few years old. But the leather seat that she slid onto was comfortable and had clearly been well-maintained, cushioning and supporting her curves nicely.
The driver didn’t offer any conversation, which was just as well, as she was too busy attempting to enjoy the beauty of the passing trees and greenery despite the nerves rolling in her stomach. She knew nothing about the Baronet beside what she had learned from the occasional bit of gossip: he had an older sister, Lucille - unmarried the last anyone knew, he was the head of the business, and his father had squandered away a great deal of their fortune on his dreadful alcoholism. He hadn’t added much to it until recently, choosing to spend several years gallivanting around the world with demure debutantes and stunning socialites.
Kate was neither. But, that was besides the point.
So when the car rolled down the fine white avenue of gravel, shadowed by massive oak trees on either side, anticipation and anxiety manifested themselves in one hand rubbing lightly over the tight blue jeans on her thigh, the other tugging on the collar of her simple blue and black flannel she had left open over a black tank top. She hadn’t known what to expect for the tours, so her scuffed black boots sounded quietly on the floor of the car as she tapped her feet.
The house - if she could call it that - was massive, bigger than anything she’d ever seen in person excluding Buckingham Palace. Light brown stone comprised the outer walls, combining with the ivy that crept along some of the walls to suggest just a hint of wildness, and an age to the building beyond her lifetime. She caught what looked to be a few balconies interspersed on the second floor, along with many tall, thin windows peppered over the facade that hinted at the great number of rooms found within. Some windows shone, others looked untended.
She briefly caught sight of the great wooden front door opening before the driver stepped into view, opening her door and stepping wide to allow her to get out. She did so, smoothing her hands over non-existent wrinkles on her jeans, feeling like she wasn’t dressed nicely enough to even look at the home.
Surely they’ll realise I’m an imposter here. I’ll be back on the train in a hot minute.
Out of nowhere, a little boy ran up to her, face flushed and light eyes bright. He tugged on the pants leg of the driver urgently. “AndyAndyAndy,” he sang out. “Is that the lady Uncle Thomas was talking about?” he asked, pointing unabashedly at Kate.
Uncle Thomas? That was an interesting development. She got down on one knee, smiling at the fair-skinned boy. “I probably am. Is your Uncle Thomas around anywhere?”
“Gideon Sharpe! You cannot just run off when I’m talking to you!”
Kate lifted her gaze to the house to see a woman who could be nothing other than Thomas’ sister -  the similarities were just uncanny - striding towards them purposefully, her finger pointed at the little boy. Her tall frame suited her knee-length leather boots, navy barbour and jeans perfectly. About an acre of midnight dark hair was piled atop her head in a haphazard style that managed to look perfectly chic.
Opposite her, Kate felt like she’d been dragged through a hedge backwards.
Thomas’ sister scooped up the boy - Gideon. Her cool, assessing gaze swept over Kate, not unkindly, but without a smile. “Welcome to Allerdale Hall.”
“Thank you,” Kate replied, trying to inject some warmth into her tone.
“My brother’s no doubt at the stables. I’ll take you. That’ll be all thank you, Andy.”
“Yes ma’am.” Andy dug in his pocket and produced a small sherbet lollipop.
Gideon looked up at his mother from his position in her arms. “Can I? Pleeeeaaasssseeeee.”
Lucille rolled her eyes - and the typical long-suffering mother expression made Kate thaw to her a bit. “Go on, then.”
Gideon took the candy and thanked Andy. The employee got back in the car and drove off to goodness knew where. Another rich family? A huge garage for rich-people cars?
Kate dutifully grabbed her duffle bag and followed in Lucille’s wake as she and Gideon proceeded around the back of the enigmatic house - if a house could be called that. Kate imagined it as the star of some glossy period drama; the pretty facade with a hint of wild, the sprawling ivy alluding to both love and disrepair.
*******
God, Kate would be fit to be tied when Andy picked her up, Thomas thought, shaking his head with a smile as he mucked out stables.
They had a stable man for this job normally, but Thomas liked the hard manual work some days. It stopped him thinking of what his life had been like for those few dark years before he’d finally turned the family fortunes around. How he and Lucille had begged, borrowed and stole to keep from starving. When Lucille had worried that Gideon wouldn’t have a roof over his curly little head.
He wiped his forearm over his brow and pulled off the henley he wore, tossing it over his shoulder like a rag as he continued to work, shovelling the straw into the wheelbarrow. His muscles begged for mercy, but he preferred this labour to running on a treadmill in a gym. The circulated air in those places made him feel stifled; trapped.
“Uncle Thomaaaaasssssss!”
He recognised that urchin’s voice. Thomas turned just in time to scoop up his nephew with one arm as the boy barrelled towards him, all speed and no stealth. Gideon hugged him tightly and then grimaced. “Ew! You’re wet!”
“I’ve been doing sweaty work.” He lifted his gaze to see Lucille and Kate - a vision in a sleek black tank top and an open plaid shirt, the female lumberjack fantasy come to life in a very vivid way - walking towards him. He set Gideon down and leaned on the shovel he’d been working with.
“Your guest is here, Thomas,” Lucille said shortly. “Come on Gideon. Let’s go see what’s happening for dinner.”
“Bye Missus Kate!” Gideon called as he scrambled to run after his mother, grabbing her hand as they disappeared into the looming house.
Thomas tossed the shovel aside. “I’d have cleaned up if I knew you’d be early.” He used the henley to wipe his face and dab at the hollow of his throat where sweat habitually pooled when he worked.
Kate looked at him for a long moment. Once again he had the sense that she saw every part of him, who he’d been and who he might be in the future. She had an arresting gaze, and he liked it. “I didn’t know you did…. This.” She gestured up and down his long frame with a lax wave of her hand.
“Didn’t know I shovelled horse shit?” he asked quietly, a smile tugging the corner of his mouth.

unfinished brooke x katya hatefuck fic
hi yall :^) so ive had this sitting in my drafts for a WHILE and ive barely dented the actual planned plot but still i felt like it was kind of a waste of what i did write to not ?? idk do something with it? this was originally written for AQ’s rarepair event but irl stuff got in the way so it never got finished, and i kinda lost the inspo to finish it (for now? idk) so here it is, posted unedited in however it was when i last touched it
brooke x katya hatefuck, (well, planned, i obv hadnt written that far) inspired by pics of trixie and brooke together that one time they were weirdly hanging out a lot irl and that one outfit brooke has that looks like that one outfit katya has the polkadot one u know it
“Ugh, I swear, Vi! She really has something against me! I think she hates me!”
Katya punctuates her sentence with a flail of her arms for emphasis before flopping back onto her bed. Violet just rolls her eyes at her roommate’s dramatics, as per usual. This is the third time they’ve had this conversation this week.
“So she’s a little icy, what of it? It’s not like you’re not used to having a mega bitch around, you live with me,” Violet responds plainly, not even bothering to look up from her laptop, “and I don’t think anybody could hate you, Kat.”
Katya huffs at that. “No, I swear, she hates me.”
Katya Zamolodchikova is absolutely sure of three things in her university life: One, Trixie Mattel is her best friend. Two, nothing gets in between her and Trixie. Three, Brooke Lynn Hytes is absolutely making her best fucking attempt.
Katya and Trixie had met last year, Katya being a sophomore in visual arts and Trixie a freshman in musical theater, when Katya had accidentally crashed Ginger’s (kind of pathetic) attempt at being a tour guide for the freshmen of her course. They’ve only known each other for a year, but ever since then the two quickly became inseparable and a year had felt like a lifetime. All of their friends knew, and Katya held it close to her heart, that nothing could possibly stand in their way. That is, until the beginning of this semester.
Trixie had been elected as class representative at the start of their sophomore year, which did not surprise Katya one bit. But that meant that when Canadian exchange student Brooke Lynn Hytes had arrived for the semester, it was Trixie’s job to show her around and make her feel welcomed. And being that Brooke’s degree in classical dance meant her and Trixie had quite a few overlapping classes, the two hit it off and had gotten closer and closer since. It’s only half way through the semester, yet Katya feels as though she’s slowly becoming more and more of a background character in Trixie’s life. They still text each other when they can, but hangout times have slowly grown increasingly thin and so has Katya’s sanity. Not that it’s Trixie’s fault, of course…
“I can’t explain it. But I promise, it’s almost like she’s purposefully occupying Trixie from me! Every time it looks like we might get a chance to even just talk, she’s there coming round the corner asking Trixie for help in one of their classes or for show recs or whatever. And she always looks me dead in the eye, with her stupid fucking smirk, like she knows what she just did! I can’t explain the feeling I get when I see her!”
Katya’s hit full ranting steam now, half hanging off her bed still flailing as animated as ever.
Violet shuts her laptop and turns to face her. “Mama, sounds like you hate her. Sure it’s not just in your head because you’re jealous the amazon’s occupying your barbie?”
There’s a beat of silence. “Jealous? I guess?” Katya scrunches up her face and sits up. “I mean, how could I not be? With her stupid long legs and her flowing blonde hair, like god, Vi, she’s practically perfect! And have you seen her dance?”
Katya turns to pose her question, but Violet is just staring, giving her a look she can’t decipher. She continues,
“So then, fine, of course I’m jealous, but that’s because Trix is my best friend. I barely see her anymore, and when I do she’s always there and I just get so riled up! And I’m sure Trix has started to notice because god I just can’t stand it when she’s near, it just sets me alight in an awful way. I’ve never felt this way about anybody before!” And it’s true, Katya really does not think of herself as someone capable of fully hating someone else. But by god, is Brooke really testing that.
Violet scoffs, turning away to open her laptop once more. “Look Mary, all I gotta say is that that’s an awful lot of emotion for some best friend jealousy. Also, you have a lecture starting in ten minutes.”
Fuck! Katya checks her watch and immediately jumps up to scramble for her belongings, deeply thankful for her roommate’s type A tendencies yet internally chastising herself for allowing her ranting to consume her time like that. She quickly kisses Violet on the cheek and bids her farewell before putting on her boots and heading out of their dorm room to make her best effort to speed walk to class.
But as luck would have it, not that Katya has a lot of it, she quite literally walks right into the subject of their prior conversation. Well, speak of the devils…
“Oh! Trixie, hi!” Katya laughs, immediately reacting to steady Trixie from where Katya had almost knocked her over with the door. From the way she was standing, she figured she had opened the door just as Trixie was about knock.
“Katya! Thank god, I was worried you wouldn’t be in,” Trixie smiles back brightly, smoothing her fluffy golden hair back into place. (Not that it’s ever really out of place, Katya thinks to herself.)
Katya smiles at her, a sight for sore eyes she thinks, but when she realizes Brooke is standing at the end of the hall waiting for Trixie, her smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes. Whether Trixie noticed Katya’s tension or not, she didn’t let on. At least Brooke had the decency to wait at a reasonable distance.
“Uh, yeah, I was just heading out though,” Katya replies, trying her best to look sympathetic. She doesn’t mind that she’s running late anymore, just feels bad she even has to go. “But did you need something?”
Trixie looks equally as sympathetic. “Yeah, uh, listen, I’m really sorry. I know we haven’t been able to hang recently and I’m really sorry for that, midterms and all…”
“Hey, it’s alright, I knew you were busy. It’s no problem, really.” That’s a lie.
“But now that it’s over, let’s celebrate! Let me make it up to you? Be my date to the Edwards party tonight?”
Katya’s smile softens. As much as she was planning to trade in the party for a well-deserved movie night in with Violet and Pearl, she finds she really can’t say no to Trixie, especially not when she’s looking at her like an apologetic puppy. Whipped.
“Down for anything with you, Barbie. Meet you at the dorm hall at 8?”
Trixie squeals and picks Katya up by the middle, “AAAAAAAH yes!! See you bitch!!”
Katya squirms violently to be put down but laughs it off anyway. She really can’t be too mad at her best friend.
“Anyway, I gotta run, see you later Trix!” She rushes to hug Trixie quickly once more before escaping as briskly yet casually as she can out the door. This fails her when all semblance of casualty is lost as she passes the point where Brooke is, all tall and blonde and beautiful even just standing around. As she passes, her gaze quite obviously steels ahead to avoid looking Brooke in the eye, but she can’t fail to catch the quite obvious smug smirk the Canadian has posed on her painted lips.
----
Katya managed to make it to class with only 5 minutes late, thankfully just as her professor was entering the other door. She plops down into her usual seat with an audible groan and immediately drops her head in her hands.
Brooke. Stupid fucking Brooke Lynn Hytes. Lately, Katya’s wandering thoughts always go back to her. There hasn’t been a time where her idle time hasn’t been haunted by a certain ballerina chipping away at her precious concentration. She sees perfect long blonde hair, icy blue eyes, and tone legs that go all the way up.
If she’s being completely honest with herself, she is just a bit jealous of Brooke but not for the reasons Violet insinuates. I mean, sure, she misses Trixie to bits. But that’s only one of the many straws on the camel that is Katya’s completely rational anger.
It’s not that she’s perfect, either, but that sure adds another straw. Seemingly introverted, but able to capture the hearts of anyone in her path through quick and honest charm. Graceful and poised, where Katya is not, and tall and curvy, where Katya is not. Katya really doesn’t understand how someone can attend 7am dance classes with a flawless mug and still leave rehearsals with not an eyelash out of place, it’s inhuman.
No, it’s that no matter how much others testify on her behalf, Katya does not understand it. She doesn’t know what she did, but she has somehow done something to aggravate Brooke against her, and it bothers her endlessly that she doesn’t even know what she did to incur such spite. Katya doesn’t see any of the charm or kindness that others profess, only smug smirks and cocky passive-aggressive jabs and a seemingly passionate desire to find any way she can to poke Katya’s buttons and prompt some kind of response. She’s lucky Katya has a lot more self control than most, and she’s restrained herself from biting back thus far.
She thinks back to the first time she spotted Brooke, on the first day of the semester when Katya had gotten bored and decided to drop in on Trixie’s representative duties despite explicit instructions not to intrude. She had found her in one of the gardens of the student commons, and instinctively made her way to run up and tackle her before realizing Trixie wasn’t alone and stopping dead in her tracks.
Trixie was sitting next to someone Katya didn’t recognize, which was a surprise in itself because Katya knew next to everybody personally in their modestly sized arts college.  The girl was sitting next to Trixie on a bench, both hands holding one of Trixie’s own as Trixie appeared to animatedly be telling some story. Trixie then finally noticed Katya frozen standing awkwardly at some distance and paused in the middle of her speech to yell at Katya and becon her over.
“Katya! This is Brooke Lynn, a Canadian exchange student for the semester. Brooke, this is Katya, my best friend!”
Brooke lazily shifted her gaze from Trixie to give Katya the once over, glancing her up and down. Whatever she saw, she suddenly stood up and crowded into Katya’s space, gazing down at her intensely directly from the advantage their clear height difference gave her.
“Well, it’s certainly nice to meet you… Katya.”
And on her lips, the same painted red smirk. The same stupid smirk that would continuously haunt her until…
“Kat, you with us girl?” Hissed Pearl in her ear, jabbing her hard in the side.

GHOST'S TOBIAS FORGE ON FILM PLANS, COPIA'S FUTURE, "DARKER, HEAVIER" NEXT ALBUM
Bandleader also talks Metallica, Mercyful Fate, why a Ghost biopic would be "like premature ejaculation"
Tumblr media
The Gospel of Cardinal Copia began barely a year ago, his birth as the new frontman of Ghost neither virginal nor particularly miraculous. But there he stands, a religious man of style and mystery: left eye icy blue and blazing, dressed in fine liturgical threads, leading a band of Nameless Ghouls in silver masks through songs of plague and vermin, love and death.
In the eleven months since the beatific release of Ghost's epic fourth album, Prequelle, much has happened in the world of this wildly theatrical metal act from Sweden. The first of these events was the reveal of Tobias Forge as the living, breathing mastermind behind the masks and papal vestments. Though he's never explicitly stated as such, it's widely understood that it's been Forge all along behind the mic, disguised in corpse paint and/or latex masks, first as a series of consecutive demonic popes called Papa Emeritus (Nos. I-III), before reemerging in 2018 as the grimly debonair Cardi Copia.
Prequelle was a medieval concept album that became a hit, spreading the word of Ghost to a growing congregation, in the U.S. reaching No. 3 on the Billboard album chart, and the Top 10 across most of Europe. An American tour filled theaters and last year delivered Ghost to select arenas in Los Angeles, New York and Montreal. It was all a preamble to Ghost's upcoming Ultimate Tour Named Death, a true arena tour of North America, where the band will deliver a fully realized, theatrical rock show of stained glass and fireballs this fall, beginning Sept. 13th in Bakersfield. (Ghost is also openingfor Metallica this summer on a "WorldWired" European stadium tour.)
"For some reason and luckily for me, I have never really crumbled in front of challenges — maybe going to the dentist," Forge tells Revolver. "I've always got a kick out of doing challenging things. More than anything, it just forces me to go further."
youtube
As a lifelong devotee of Queen and Kiss, Forge is a true believer in the power of rock's epic sweep. Taking Ghost to its fullest potential as operatic spectacle is the ultimate fantasy-come-true for Forge, who birthed the band with few expectations a decade ago with a trio of satanic metal tracks.
"There were definitely moments where I had to walk into the arena in the morning and pinch myself a little bit: All these trucks are ours? All this is just for us?" Forge says of his experiences at the handful of headline arena shows Ghost performed last year in America. "I've always wanted to do this since I was a child. I've envisioned it so many times that I don't know really where the dream ended and it sort of went into reality."
Out of costume and out of character, Forge is a friendly and contemplative figure, a seemingly humble rocker and family man behind Ghost's larger than life image. And there is much still to be done as he heads into this final leg of Ghost's Prequelle cycle. To accompany the tour, he's just completed a new series of online video "webisodes" that dive deeper into the mystery of Copia through Gothic intrigue and comedy.
"There are a few episodes coming in the future that might bring some clarity as to who this fucker is," Forge says of Copia, without offering details. "My hope is that he gets to become Papa Emeritus IV. That is the goal. It just takes time and it takes effort. And that is what he's proving now."
youtube
The videos are an essential part of the band's mythology, and now Forge is close to realizing his ambition to create the first feature-length Ghost movie. If all goes well, the film will be shot before the end of the year.
"If it wasn't for the fact that I ended up finally being a musician, the one thing I really, really want to do in my life is cinema," Forge says. "Any chance I can have to do that, I'm definitely grabbing it."
There had been discussions about this over the years. As an especially visual band, with its own cavalcade of insane characters, the potential was obvious, but things often got stuck on the form a movie might take. "Most films about bands are biographical, and I see no reason to tell our story yet," says Forge, who still considers Ghost to be in its early years. "It's a little bit like premature ejaculation. You have to have a career first and then you can tell the real story, so that was never an option. And when you yank away that, what do you have? Well, that would be a fictional story."
He's confident that the story of the film has now been figured out, and would partly take place around a live concert. Figuring out the location, budget, etc. will make all the difference.
"The cog wheels are turning on that one," he says. "We're just trying to figure out a lot of the practicalities. Making a film is a big endeavor. Another problem that I have had over the course of my career is that I don't have a shit-ton of time. I am also a father of two kids and I'm married. I try to not to break my back. I've been so close so many times to overworking and I said yes to everything just because I was so keen on not losing momentum. I've learned over the years that it's really important not to do everything at once."
Beyond the film and the final leg of this tour, Forge is contemplating what comes next when he returns to the studio in 2020 to begin work on a new Ghost album. He's leaning toward a harder, riffier sound this time. He'll start in January and finish that summer.
"I want to make a different record from Prequelle. I want it to feel different," says Forge, being careful with his words to avoid misleading fans. "If I dare to say heavier, people think that it's going to be Mercyful Fate all the way ... but I definitely have a darker, heavier record in mind."
Prequelle, he says now, was "a little ballad heavy." The next one will lean more in the imposing direction of 2015's Meliora without repeating the same ideas. He's worked to make each album different, starting with 2010's gloomy, metallic debut, Opus Eponymous.
While the sound and message of Ghost remains rooted in the initial ideas he first had when he wrote the riff to "Stand by Him" as a mostly unknown metal player in Sweden, years before first trying on the pope attire. He's also made a point of evolving as a lyricist.
"I have always pushed myself to write the songs that we don't have instead of going back — it maybe would've been a smart move to just try to replicate Opus," he explains. "I can regurgitate. I grew up with metal. It's in my DNA, so I can formulate death-metal lyrics easily. But I try not to repeat myself on that.
"I like to make the Metallica comparison — where Kill 'Em All is a little bit more crude, on Ride the Lightning they started writing about more real things. It had more depth," he adds. "I'm not going change everything and just talk about politics, but I believe that if you have people's attention, you have responsibility to weigh with your words a little. Sometimes that is hard. I find that harder than the musical challenges."
Even so, the unexpected opportunity to take his vision of Ghost to ever larger scope across multiple albums and now onstage at arena-scale is a challenge he welcomes.
"I try to remind myself every day that it's pretty mind-blowing that we got to this spot. You need to try to appreciate 100 percent and do the best every day and nurture," Forge says, then adds with a laugh, "At the risk of sounding a little religious, this is a gift that you've been given."

Run For Your Life - Part IV
Tumblr media
pairing- George Harrison x Reader
warnings- So much fluff
year- 1964
Word count- 1.7k

Disclaimer/ AN-  So hi, this is the first fic I've published.  This is FICTION. So the timeline may not match up with reality.  For example, Julians not in it. So ignore that, and just enjoy the story for what it's worth.  Anyways, I'm so excited to release my first fic. If you guys have any questions, or comments or anything, please comment or as, don't be afraid to talk to me. Huge shutout to @iimplicitt she helped me edit, and such. Thanks so much girl!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
You go straight to the studio after breakfast with John.  John, and the other boys were caught up in the music, making sure everything was perfect.  But George's attention was on you. You would look at John to make sure he wasn't watching, then you would look George and let all your feelings out, blushing, and giggling.  He did the same back. It did result in you making awkward eye contact with John a few times.  You prayed that he didn't notice how flustered you were. It didn't last the whole time though, Geroge got caught up in a melody he was working on.  You didn't mind. Watching him working and concentrating on something was so precious. The way he smiled when he finally got it right was so charming.
      After they were done recording, John was too busy, fighting with Paul, again, so you went to George.
      "Hi love" he said in the same quiet manner that most of you conversations had to be in.
      "Hi, I really enjoyed watching you play" you said, complimenting him, "You're really good" you made your voice even quieter, "and you look really cute when you're focusing."  You watched his expression changed from casual to a redder more flustered look.
      "Y/n!" he whispered little louder, "not here. Strawberry Fields, in an hour ok?"
      "Ok, Geo" you agreed, "I'll see you then"
      "I can't wait, flower" he said smirking at you.  He called you flower. That was by far the most charming thing anyone has ever said to you.  Despite his dark appearance, and sarcastic tone, he can be so sweet. He was so hard to understand but you felt like you were starting to get to know his personality.
      The hour passed fast.  You took your time getting ready, putting on a red lipstick to show him something different.  You slipped out the door when John wasn't looking, and headed out.
       When you reached Strawberry Fields, you were amazed.  The backyard was closed in by a tall black fence. In the cracks of the fence grew huge vines, and a variety of flora.  The building was abandoned, and unkempt. Nature had claimed the building as its own. Humankind can spend so long building something up from the ground, putting all their best resources and knowledge forward.  But as soon as they stop maintaining their creation, the natural world claims it as their own.
      You slipped through a space in the fence.  You had known it was there, and so did every kid who grew up in Liverpool.  This was everyone's safe place. Despite the dark, gothic architecture, and the rubble that surrounded it, it was a safe place.  As you stepped in, you saw George sitting on a picnic blanket in the middle of the overgrown lawn. Inside the dark fence, the grass was shades of bright green and yellow.  He smiled at the sight of you and stood up. His hair moved in the wind, and his happy eyes were looking into yours. He opened his arms for you, and you ran into them. You were once again in one of George's hugs.  They were your favorite thing. His skinny frame was so nice to fall into.
       "I brought you Strawberries and wine, Love." George said through a smile.
      "How fitting" you joke, "Can we eat hun."
       "Of course flower, take a seat."
       You and George sat next to each other cross legged on the blanket.  He sparked a conversation about the recording session from earlier. He asked if you liked what they were working on.  You answered honestly and explained that you were so proud of them. It was crazy to see your own brother rising to fame.
      It didn't take long before George poured you a glass of wine, and started feeding you strawberries.  He was being so sweet to you, but the sweetness soon melted into something more. George laid you down on the blanket and started kissing you.  You didn't realize your dark red lipstick would soon cover his face and neck. You were both so caught up in each others touch that you didn't notice the sun beginning to set, or the crimson color that littered George's face.
      George brought his hands up right below your neck and wrapped them around you.  He was choking you without actually hurting you. His hands felt so good on your bare skin, and you let out a moan.  He pulled his face off of yours.
      "You good love" George asked, panting.
      "Yes, I'm amazing." You said, taking a moment to appreciate the fact that you were being pinned down by George's sizable hands, and slim frame.  Your body was limp and you were totally defenseless under George. And you loved it.
      You looked at George's face.  He was still panting and his face was red.  His face was also covered in your lipstick. He looked ridiculous, you couldn't help but giggle.  He laughed back. You looked down and noticed the bulge in his pants. You looked back up at his face and said "But are you good?"  George laughed.
      "Yeah I'm better than ever." he answered.  "Why, is there something wrong?" he asked looking around himself, and brushing off his shoulders.
       "No," you giggled, "Your face is just covered in lipstick." He quickly started wiping his mouth with his hand.  He had no luck in trying to get the crimson off his lips, it had stained.
      "I don't think it's gonna come off Geo." you said.  "And it looks like you got a little excited." You pointed down and his gaze followed.  As soon as he noticed what you were referring too, he gave you a toothy smile, and his cheeks somehow became even redder.  Geo let out a small laugh, and seemed a little embarrassed. He rolled off of you and laid next to your warm body. He let out a big sigh, before looking at you.  You looked at each other for a while. Your eyes traced all the lipstick you had left on his face, and you noticed how messy his hair had gotten. You leaned in and kissed each other sweetly.  His mouth tasted of strawberries, and his eyes closed so gently.
      Pulling away, he looked into your eyes and said "Your beautiful, truly."  He reached a hand up and stroked your cheek. You grabbed his wrist in response and rubbed his smooth skin with your thumb.
      You rolled over and looked at the sky.  The sky was becoming darker, but you had time before John would start to worry.
       "Please," George said, "tell me about yourself some more."
        "Well, I dunno," you said, trying to decide what to say, "I just finished my first year of university."  You turned back towards George, and looking into his sweet eyes.
      "What are you studying again?" he asked.
        "English.  I'm hoping to become a writer." you answered.
         "Why do you like writing" he wondered.
        "Well, I suppose it's because I like being in A world where everything happens for a reason.  When you write, every single sentence has a purpose, a reason. It's nice to think all the pain, all the hard times you've been through were for a reason." you said, gesticulating your words.  You really did like to write, it let you escape your world, and become part of your character's world.
          "Who's to say that everything doesn't happen for a reason in real life too?" George asked.
         "I don't know, I've just never believed that they do.  I've never really been spiritual like that before, y'know?  I just think were just here, living, not for any reason." you explained.
       "I think things do happen for a reason.  To me, the universe isn't all an accident, y'know?  I guess I just think more 'spiritually' than other people.  Maybe people get resurrected. Who's to say? It's just a nice way to think, and there's no reason not to think like that."
        "You're right, thank you for enlightening me"  you joked
       George giggled, then proceeded, "Think about it, things do happen for a reason, the earth is billions of years old, yet we managed to exist in this form at the same time."
         "You flatter me, Harrison."
        "Maybe that's my purpose."
        "You're too good to me" you said.
       He leaned in and kissed you softer than ever.  You could feel every crease on his lips. It was such a loving embrace that you felt strong feelings for him in that moment.  Not love. Love would come later. After you spend more time with him. But nonetheless, this feeling was strong, and had really made you fall for him.
      As the night went on, you and George continued your deep conversation.  He was so smart. He had obviously spent a lot of time thinking about life, and its purpose.  Overall, he seemed relaxed about it all. George thought that life wasn't very serious. He believed that we're all here to have a good time.  He didn't think much of tragedies. They were sad, of course, but pain is simply a part of life
       Some of his ideas were nieve, but so were yours.  You were young; it was only natural.
       The day started ending.  The sky became a darker shade of blue, and shades of pink and orange littered the heavens.
       "I should be going now, i don't want John to worry." you explained
      "You sure you have to leave, Love" George whimpered, "I'd love to see you again, maybe tonight?"
      "I don't want to leave you either, Harrison, but it's getting late.  Maybe I will stop by again tonight." you said, turning to him and winking.
      "Yes please." he begged.
        You both stood up, and wiped the grass off your clothes.  George picked up the basket he had brought with him. You both reached down to grab two corners of the blanket, and folded it together.
      " Should I walk you home, y/n?" he asked.
      "I don't think that's a good idea, what if John sees your face covered in lipstick?" you answered.
      "Ah, I forgot about that," George admitted.
      Before you parted ways, You leaned into each other for one last embrace.  As George stepped away you called him back.
      "Wait" you cried.
       "Yes, Love?" George said, turning around to face you again.
     "So, are we.. ya'know," you hesitated, "Dating now?"
       "If you want to, Flower." he answered lovingly, "I'd be honored to date such a pretty girl."
      As the words left his lips you walked back to him and held him tight.  You kissed George softly before speaking.
      "Then we're dating." you said softly.  You broke away from each other, and squeezed through the fence.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
AN- If you wanna be added to my taglist for this fic PLEASE tell me. If you liked it let me know, and if you didn't, tell me why. This part makes me blush so hard. I loved writing it. I hope you enjoyed it. Do you have any predictions yet? Cause let me tell you it gets crazy.

Last Waltz
The dance world is a harsh and short career for anyone that is brave, or lucky enough, to peruse it. Natalie had been dancing since she was five years old and had recently made it to the place of principal dancer for the San Francisco Ballet.  Natalie was a very skinny five foot five woman with long black hair and dark brown eyes.  The company was on their US tour and Natalie was preparing for another performance.  She put on her white leotard and white tutu and finally her pointe shoes.  Her black hair was up in a bun and all of her hair was slicked back.  Natalie’s long legs were covered in her pink tights.  The performance went on perfectly and it was time for the last movement.  Natalie was on stage alone waltzing across the floor.  Suddenly Natalie fell to the ground, the audience thought that it was just a part of the character that she was portraying.  The cast knew better, they quickly lowered the curtain and rushed to aid their principal dancer.  One of the crew members dialed 911 well the others saw what they could do to help.  Natalie was in a panic and was scared of what just happened.  She had asthma as a kid but had never experienced anything like this before.  Sara and Dave were the unit that were dispatched to the call they had a rookie paramedic with them for his first night on the job named Jake.  Upon arrival Natalie was lying on the ground gasping for air and clinging to life.  Her small body began convulsing on the floor as her body began to give out.  The seizures subsided after a few moments and her body fell limp. Dave put his two fingers on her neck to find a pulse but couldn't find any.  “I can’t find a pulse, start CPR and I’ll bag.”  Dave said.  Sara centered her hands in between the ballerinas breasts and began compressing her chest.  Dave grabbed the orange ambu bag and sealed it onto her face.  Every few seconds Dave squeezed the bag to give Natalie air.  After two rounds of CPR Dave took his shears and snipped down her white leotard to reveal her super skinny abdomen and A cup breasts.  Dave took over compressions and Sara instructed Jake to take over ventilation while she did what she could.  Sara attached the leads to Natalie’s bare chest and started an IV in her left arm.  As the monitor began to find any kind of rhythm it showed V-fib.  Sara took out the Zoll AED pads that were connected by a blue piece that went directly over the center of the sternum.  Sara charged the unit to 200 Joules, as the unit sounded off that it was charged Dave and Jake backed away.  Sara pressed the red shock button which made Natalie’s small breasts shake and her body to twitch slightly.  The shock caused Natalie’s heart to return to asystole on the monitor.  “We need to get her to the hospital asap.”  They grabbed the stretcher and rolled her onto the backboard before placing her on the stretcher.  Jake took over compressions as they grabbed all of their equipment and rolled her out to the ambulance.
As they loaded her into the back Sara decided to drive while Dave and Jake worked on Natalie.  As they pulled away from the performance venue Natalie was still in asystole.  Jake was doing compressions while Dave intubated and pushed a round of epi.  After a few moments the drugs started taking effect and Dave charged the AED to 300.  As the unit charged they backed away and shocked her for the second time.  Natalie’s chest rose slightly off of the stretcher and then came back down.  The shock had no effect and Natalie stayed in V-fib.  Dave took over compressions as the unit was charged again to 360.  With each compression Natalie’s chest caved in and her stomach extended slightly.  Natalie was so skinny that you could see the outline of her ribs and could see them compress while she was receiving CPR.  The unit charged and once again shocked Natalie.  Her feet kicked off the stretcher slightly and then her head lolled to the side.  The ambulance filled with the sharp tone of asystole as Natalie once again flatlined.  Jake pounded away at Natalie’s chest as he grew desperate to save his first patient.  Each compression was read on the monitor as the green line bounced up and down with her chest.  Dave pushed another round of drugs and continued to ventilate her.  Dave opened up Natalie’s mouth and slid the metal blade in before placing the ET tube down her throat.  The tube was secured with the blue holder and the resuscitation efforts were resumed.  The unit was charged to 360 again and a fourth shock was delivered.  Natalie’s pointe shoes clicked together as her legs lifted off the stretcher slightly.  The shock had no effect and CPR was resumed as the ambulance swung into the bay of the emergency room.
As she was rolled into the Emergency Room Natalie was under intense CPR.  They rushed her down the hallway towards the trauma room.  The nurses and other patients caught a short glimpse and were shocked that such a healthy woman was dying on the gurney.  As they whipped into the trauma room Sara gave the update. “Twenty seven year old female, collapsed during a performance she began convulsing upon arrival and then went into cardiac arrest.  We have performed continuous CPR and have shocked her four times.  She has converted between V-fib and asystole the entire way here.  We have given epi and Adrenalin.  She is intubated with a size 7 tube.”  Dr. Micheal began to take over “Alright lets lift on three, one two three”  The backboard was moved from the gurney onto the hospitals gurney.  The leads were connected to the monitors and showed V-fib.  “Charge to 360 and prepare to shock.”   The unit whined to life as Dr. Micheal removed the paddles and a nurse squirt conductive gel onto one of them.  After the unit charged he rubbed the paddles together to spread the gel.  He placed one just above the center of her chest and the other on her lower right side.  The team backed away.  “We’re all clear, shocking”.  Natalie’s small body jumped off the gurney and in a moment came crashing back down. The monitors spiked with the shock and then continued in a flat line.  The nurse centered their hands in between her breasts and pounded away rhythmically again.  Natalie’s entire body shook which each compression.  Her pointe shoes would click together every so often as her feet swung back and forth.  Her chest caved in each time the nurse pushed down on her chest.  The wheezing of the ambu bag became rhythmic as each squeeze delivered much needed air.  A round of cardiac drugs was pushed through the IV port and after a few more moments and rounds of CPR the green line started to bounce and show V-fib.  The gel was squirted onto the paddles once again as the unit charged to 360.  The paddles were placed on her bare chest and as everyone cleared off her body flew into the air and came crashing back down again.  The shock caused no change so compressions were resumed as the unit charged again.  The unit sounded off as they were placed back on her chest.  As the button were pressed Natalie’s long legs jolted out to the side and her arms flailed outward.  This shock caused Natalie to convert back into asystole as the green line went flat on the monitor.  “Prep a tracheotomy tray and push another round of epi please.”  Dr. Michael commanded his medical team.  Betadine was squirted over her left breast and her chest as aggressive CPR continued.  Dr. Michael took the scalpel and made the initial incision.  Blood began to pour onto the table and onto the floor as her chest was cut open.  There was a set of loud pops as Dr. Michael cracked her ribs in order to reach her dying heart.  The bone fragments were placed into a metal tin next to the bed.  Dr. Michael reached his hands into her chest and felt her heart.  Her heart was completely still.  He ordered another round of drugs as he began to squeeze her heart with his own hands rhythmically.  The monitor beeped in tune with each internal compression.  Her body now laid still on the table without the extreme force of CPR.  After a minute he let go and her heart began twitching.  Natalie had finally converted into V-fib so the internal paddles were readied.  The paddles were long spoon like metal rods.  He placed them into her chest and put them around her heart.  They defib was charged to 20 joules.  As they let go of the ambu bag and let it hang he pressed the shock buttons on the paddles and her body twitched slightly on the table.  There was no change so the defib was charged again to 30 joules and he used one hand to compress her heart as the defib was charged.  The paddles were placed back into her chest and the shock was delivered.  This caused her breasts to shake and her arms to flail out slightly.  The second internal shock had the same effect so they were charged for a third time.  Michael was growing desperate and didn’t know what else to do.  The defib alerted that it was charged to 30 joules so Dr. Michael placed the paddles directly onto her heart for the third time.  “Come on third times the charm”  He whispered to himself.  The shock was delivered as her arms and legs flailed slightly as her chest barely rose off of the table.  He looked to the monitor to see any effect.  The green line on the heart monitor traced across the screen flat as the monitor once again filled the room with a high pitched screech.  Dr. Michael slowly removed the bloody paddles and placed them on the crash cart.  He took out a penlight and shined it into her dark brown eyes that were now fixed and dilated. “Time of death 9:47 pm.  Thank you everyone for your assistance.”  Dr. Michael left the room as he went to talk to anyone who arrived for Natalie.  The nurses detached the ambu bag and the leads from her bare and bloodied chest.  They tried their best to get some of the blood off the floor.  A nurse unlaced her pointe shoes which revealed her long feet.  She placed a toe tag that draped down her foot.  Finally they placed a white sheet over her bare body.  Natalie’s sudden death came as a surprise to all including the medical team that desperately attempted to save her life.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Y/n) didn't know what else she could do.
There were only so many excuses she could give to Lily before the questions she started asking were ones that (Y/n) couldn't bypass anymore or respond to without lying. There was nothing in the world that she could tell Rosie that the three-year-old would understand.
Lily had been told that Roger had gotten worse and was in the hospital because he was sick and she understood that. She didn't know what was wrong with Roger except he had a bad chest so the more she kept asking the fewer answers there was for (Y/n) to give. It was beginning to worry the six-year-old that Roger hadn't come home yet and that she hadn't been allowed to see him since he was too ill.
In Rosie's little head, Roger was not here and she didn't know where he had gone. Telling her Roger was ill only worked when he was actually there so the toddler could cuddle up next to him and try and help by giving him hugs like he did her when she was ill. Telling her he was away because he wasn't well didn't work because she didn't understand. All she knew was Roger hadn't been home in almost five days and each day she would toddle around the house, looking in every room to see where her dad had gone.
It broke (Y/n)'s heart to find Rosie wandering around the house with tears in her eyes as she cried out for Roger but couldn't seem to find him. The worst was when the little girl sat in (Y/n) and Roger's bedroom looking around as she refused to leave. Somehow thinking Roger was hiding somewhere in the room and would come out at any moment to surprise her.
Seeing her like this made stones fall into the pit of (Y/n)'s stomach because if Rosie was this distressed when Roger was alive but in the hospital, what would have happened if he had died on that operating table?
What would (Y/n) have done if Roger had died like he was so afraid he would? Rosie was far too young to understand the concept of death, (Y/n) would walk around the house to find the little girl calling out for Roger every day whilst everyone else knew he was never going to walk through the door again. Rosie would be calling out for Roger every day and he wouldn't be able to come back and see her and soothe her little worried mind. The thought sent shivers up her spine as she silently prayed for Roger's recovery to be a good one. For him not to need any more treatment or for any future treatment to do its job once and for all. The drummer couldn't die, he needed to be here for his girls because his girls needed him.
Today had been the last straw.
"Shoes and coat on now, please. We're going out." (Y/n) stated, motioning her hand to the hallway where coats and jackets were hung up and shoes were neatly placed in the shoebox. Her eyes told Lily to just go along with her on this as she cradled a wailing Rosie to her shoulder. The three-year-old still not able to find Roger, she seemed to think he was playing a very hard game of hide and seek with her.
Going to the hall, (Y/n) slipped on her flats before sitting down on the stairs so she could put Rosie's dusty rose shoes on her feet and settle her matching jacket around her frame to keep out the biting cold. Her teeth bit down on her bottom lip so harshly she drew blood when she managed to put her jacket on only for Rosie to cry out at seeing Roger's many jackets and coats still hung up on his designated hooks. Her small grabby hands reaching out for one of her favourites which happened to be a dark green pullover jacket that Roger had a tendency to wear more than the rest.
Reaching out (Y/n) slipped the jacket from the hook, passing it to the toddler who clung to it like glue. Her wails turning to whimpers as she buried her face in the jacket, leaning the side of her head against (Y/n)'s shoulder as she grabbed her house and car keys.
"Mummy, where are we going?"
If the circumstances were any different, (Y/n) would have noticed how her heart picked up a little pace in its usually steady pace at the title Lily was beginning to call her now. But (Y/n) couldn't focus on that right now, she was trying to decide if what she was going to do would really be a good option for them.
"To see daddy." Lily was getting restless and worried with Roger not being at home, she was used to him going on tours quite often and working through the days until all hours but he was always at home at some point during the day. Whether it be in the dead of night or as early as the sun rising, Roger was home unless on tour and he would always be somewhere for the girls to find him. Now he wasn't it was concerning because Lily couldn't ring him like she normally could when he was on tour.
Rosie of course was distressed, not finding him anywhere after seeing him in the morning five days ago and then nothing. Roger hadn't been on tour for a while and in that time Rosie had grown up a little when on tour she didn't really understand or sometimes it didn't click that Roger had gone. Now she knew he wasn't here but she could find all of his things in the hallway, in the living room and all of his clothes were still in his room. So she obviously thought he was home somewhere but couldn't find him.
(Y/n) wondered if she could show Rosie a glimpse of Roger she would be satisfied that he was there because she didn't want to take the toddler into Roger's room at the moment. Lily was a little older, she could understand more that Roger was ill and (Y/n) thought she might be able to handle seeing Roger like he was. The drummer had IV and medication drips hooked into the veins in his hands and arms, he had monitoring stickers to his chest to check his vitals and a clip on his finger for his heartbeat. But the more concerning thing was the very pale baby blue tube going down his throat to keep his lungs in working order since they were taking a break right now.
Rosie wouldn't be able to understand that and it could distress her but Lily might just be able to handle that, if she couldn't then they would all leave. At least if they got a glimpse of Roger they would know he was being cared for and was alright for now.
The drive down to the hospital seemed to do some good for Rosie as she had settled down immensely. Her arms were wrapped tightly around Roger's jacket, clearly not letting that go anywhere at all. She had pulled the collar of the jacket between her lips as she breathed in Roger's scent, drooling on the jacket that she wouldn't let go of when (Y/n) picked her up as they arrived. No more tears were leaving her sore eyes as she seemed to be rather tired, her arm hooking around (Y/n)'s neck as they started walking into the hospital. Lily's hand tightly holding onto (Y/n)'s as she pressed herself to her mother's leg, her eyes wide as she was guided through the hospital to reach Roger's room.
(Y/n) stopped a few feet from Roger's room so she could bend down to be Lily's height, needing to talk to her before they went inside.
"Alright sweetheart, your dad won't be awake. He's on medicine that makes him sleep so he can get better but he will be able to hear you if you want to talk to him. The wires may look scary but I promise it's only to help him." Lily nodded, her lips curving into a very small, barely noticeable smile when (Y/n) kissed her forehead before standing to her feet again.
Her hand reached out to take Lily's, her other arm bouncing Rosie in her hip who had taken to stroking Roger's jacket like it was a pet. Lily wrapped an arm around (Y/n)'s leg when she let go of her hand to push open the door. Her heart beating out of her chest as she pressed her hand to Lily's back, encouraging her to walk into the room. (Y/n) thought Lily would have hung back, observed Roger from a distance for a little while to see what was wrong and what was attached to him. Instead, the blonde simply walked straight up to Roger's side, glancing to her mother before hopping up so she could sit on the side of the bed with him.
"Mummy...?" There was worry in Lily's voice as she pointed to Roger's hand, desperate to reach out and hug him but that looked to be too difficult so she wanted to hold his hand instead. Roger still wasn't wearing a shirt, but there was a rather large plaster placed over his chest with bandages wrapping around it. It was easier not to place a gown over him or a shirt because this way the nurses could clean his stitches and apply new dressings easier since he was comatose for the time being. There were a few wires connecting to his chest that slithered under the bandages.
An IV drip was connected to the vein on his left hand and another drip going into the vein on his right arm in the crease of his elbow for the medication that took away any form of pain he would feel from the operation. The tube keeping his lungs working was the more disturbing part but it didn't seem to be fazing Lily as much as (Y/n) thought it would.
"Go ahead." (Y/n) responded quietly, fighting back the tears in her eyes when Lily gently took Roger's hand in both of hers, avoiding the dull grey clip on his index finger monitoring his pulse. Lily slipped her fingers into the alinements between his own like he always did when she wasn't feeling well. Taking a seat on the chair beside the bed, (Y/n) sat Rosie on her lap, gently rocking the little girl to keep her calm as she turned her head away so Lily could talk to Roger. Not wanting to watch or listen if Lily didn't want her to, preferring to have a moment on her own with him.
After a few minutes, Lily stopped talking, instead opting to lay down in the small space beside him. Her head resting just below his shoulder as she held his arm to her chest.
"Who's this, Rosie?" (Y/n) mumbled, standing to her feet so she could move closer to Roger. Holding the three-year-old in one arm as she gestured to Roger with her other hand, gently brushing his hair back behind his ear as Rosie suddenly reached out for Roger, jacket still in hand.
"Daddy!"
Seeing her sister reaching out for him Lily pushed herself so she was sitting back up against his torso again, gesturing for Rosie to sit in front of her since there wasn't that much space on the bed. (Y/n) carefully set the toddler down in front of her sister who wrapped an arm around her middle to stop her from trying to clamber onto Roger's chest for a cuddle like she usually did.
Leaning over, Rosie gently patted Roger's shoulder as if to try and wake him up. Stopping when (Y/n) shook her head, pressing her index finger to her lips to signal that Roger was sleeping. Rosie nodded before moving the jacket in her hands, clumsily splaying it over Roger's chest and shoulders. Allowing (Y/n) to pull it over his other shoulder she couldn't reach due to the breathing tube being in the way. Rosie gently patted the jacket to either smooth out the wrinkles or just for good measure before she curled up on Roger's shoulder, continuing to pat just below his collar bone right next to his shoulder.
When it seemed about time for them to go, Rosie was fast asleep which made it that much easier for (Y/n) to scoop her up without any objections about not wanting to leave Roger just yet.
"Ready?" (Y/n) whispered, looking to Lily who gingerly held out her index finger asking for one minute with Roger alone. Smiling when (Y/n) nodded, running a hand through the elder girls hair before disappearing with Rosie to wait outside.
"I'll look after mummy for you until you come back home."
Five Ways of Saying I Love You
Pairing: Ben Hardy!Roger Taylor x Reader
Summary: Five ways that Roger shows her he loves her
Requested: No
Warnings: Swearing
A/N: Sorry it’s been a few days since I’ve posted anything - please let me know what you think of it! I love hearing what all of you have to say about my writing! And remember that I reply with my main blog @ijustreallylovezebras, I hope you all had wonderful days xx
Tumblr media
Roger wasn’t good with telling Y/N he loved her. She knew he did, and she knew that she loved him too - he was well aware of it as well, she was constantly reminding him. Roger just wasn’t good at saying it.
He could show it though, he was really good at showing it.
“I’m going to really miss you,” Y/N sighed, resting her head on his bare chest, tracing careful shapes onto his pale skin. Roger twined his fingers through her hair, gently tugging the knots out of it.
“I’m going to miss you too, Princess,” he murmured, lacing his free hand with her small one - the one that wasn’t resting on his chest. Y/N gave their hands a squeeze before placing a gentle kiss to his hand. “You could still come with me, the boys wouldn’t mind - they’d love it to be honest,” Roger said and Y/N moved her head to give him a sad smile.
“I can’t do that, Rog,”
“I know, it’s a nice thought though,” Roger sighed, squeezing her hand again.
“What time are you leaving, again?” She asked, cuddling closer into his chest.
“Six in the morning,” Roger groaned. “I’ll leave you asleep, Princess,”
“Don’t! I want to say goodbye to you,” Y/N whined, kissing his bare skin and Roger shivered at the action, a soft smile forming on his face again.
“Six is really early, Darling,” he pointed out but Y/N shook her head.
“It’s worth it for you,” she declared and Roger chuckled.
“You’re so cute,”
“I love you,” Roger hugged her a little tighter and he felt her smile against his chest.
The next morning, Roger woke at five, carefully sliding out from under his girlfriend, who was asleep on his chest. He brushed some hair from her face, smiling down at her, feeling himself falling further in love with her. He changed quickly, running a brush through his hair.
“Princess?” Roger whispered, gently shaking her shoulder. Y/N let out a quiet moan as she blinked her eyes open. A wide smile took over her face upon seeing Roger and she reached up to rub her eyes but Roger caught her hands in his. “Don’t wake up properly, Y/N/N, I’m leaving now okay? Go back to sleep and I’ll see you in six weeks,” he said, keeping his voice low and quiet before leaning to press a kiss against her forehead. Then he straightened up, turning to leave the room.
“Wait - Rog!” Y/N called, swinging her legs out of bed and running to him, jumping up to hug him from behind.
“Princess,” Roger laughed, turning around and hugging her back tightly. “I’ll miss you,” he said and Y/N looked up, eyes cloudy, and pressed her lips firmly against his.
“I’ll miss you too,” she whispered. Roger gave her a gentle smile, kissing her once more.
“Get some rest, Princess,”
“Rock the world, Rog,”
“Just for you, Y/N/N,” he murmured and then picked her up, placing her back under the covers and kissing her forehead. “Have a good day at work,”
“I love you,” she called quietly as he left the room. Roger turned only to blow her another kiss, the words drying up in his mouth.
When Y/N woke later that morning, a sadness weighed on her chest upon remembering the absence of Roger’s presence. She sighed and pushed herself out of bed, wrapping herself up in one of his jumpers that he had left behind. She trudged into the kitchen, and stopped, her brows furrowing at the appearance of a box on the table with her name scrawled across the top in Roger’s messy handwriting.
She opened it and her eyes welled up with tears at the image of dozens of envelopes each addressed to her.
Even though he didn’t say it very much, Y/N could tell that Roger loved her.
Since going on tour two weeks ago, Roger had called Y/N up every night without fail to talk to her and ask about her day, make sure she was okay and happy and not missing him too much. The last question always made her laugh, because of course she was missing him an extraordinarily large amount. But tonight Roger had warned her that he probably wouldn’t be able to call, as the boys were all going to a party that started straight after the concert, the time that Roger usually reserved for talking to the love of his life.
Which was why Y/N was confused as to why the phone was ringing.
“Rog? Aren’t you at a party?” Y/N asked as she furrowed her brows and tugged her hand through her messy hair.
“Yeah - I just missed you too much,” she could tell from the slight slur of his voice that he was drunk.
“I miss you too, Rog,”
“I felt bad for not calling you tonight,” he explained, sounding disappointed in himself. Y/N gave a quiet laugh, shaking her head.
“You have a busy life, Darling, you don’t need to worry about it,” she assured him and Roger whined a little.
“You’re too good for me,” he declared. Y/N laughed, shaking her head despite knowing that Roger wouldn’t be able to see her.
“That’s the opposite of true,”
“You’re perfect,”
“You’re so cute,”  she told him. “But you should definitely go enjoy your party,”
“I have more fun talking to you than I have at any party,” Roger informed her seriously and Y/N giggled at his words.
“If you don’t go to the party then you know Freddie will give both of us a hard time about it,” Y/N pointed out. Roger groaned.
“I just miss you so so so so so much,”
“I miss you lots too,” Y/N’s voice was quiet and Roger easily picked up on her sad tone.
“Don’t be sad!” He demanded. “I’ll be back before you know it,”
“I love you,” Roger smiled, as he always did when Y/N told him that.
“I don’t want to hang up,” Roger pouted and Y/N chuckled. Roger could almost see her shaking her head at him.
“Go and have fun, Rog, I don’t want to hold you back,”
“You never hold me back! I like talking to you!” He protested. Y/N covered her mouth to contain her joyful giggle.
“You’re very drunk, Rog,”
“Calling you was all I could think about,” he admitted quietly in response. Silence settled over the phone as his words sunk in. Y/N bit her lip to stop her smile from stretching too wide. “You’re all I think about,”
Y/N grinned as her took the box from the postman, nodding her thanks to him.
“Have a nice day,” she called after him as he set off back down her driveway. He paused to wave back at her but Y/N had already turned around, eager to open the package.
She had somewhat anticipated it’s arrival - Roger had been dropping hints for the past week, ever since he called her drunk only two weeks into the tour to tell her how much he missed her.
So she had expected something. A letter or a postcard. While Roger had provided her with a shoebox full of letters at the beginning of his tour, he always sent her either a post card or a letter when the boys neared their halfway point. He always admitted to her that he found his written word easier to express his feelings with.
Y/N rumaged through her kitchen draws and picked out a knife, slicing open the box with ease and folding the flaps over, being greeted immediately by the expected postcard.
She turned it over in excitement.
Hey Princess,
For some reason this tour I’m missing you now more than ever - from our conversations it seems as though you’re feeling the same. So I’ve been buying shit along the way that I thought would either cheer you up or make you think of me or laugh or something. Don’t want my girl missing me too much.
Always yours,
Rog
As always, he had signed off the note with a smily face and three kisses. Y/N beamed at the message, feeling her eyes brim with tears at the thoughtfulness of her boyfriend.
Inside the box lay a teddybear with a cheesy ‘I love you!” shirt on, a pair of drumsticks, one of which had been broken (this was accompanied by another note explaining how Roger had broken them in a show when he was missing her particularly much, a story that, while cute, Y/N didn’t believe for a second as she knew it was the pair that John had told her Roger through at Brian’s head during an argument), there was three of his button up shirts, a box of chocolates and two books that Y/N had been wanting to read for a while but had never gotten around to purchasing.
She stepped away from the box, holding the bear in her hands and hugged it tightly to her chest, letting out soft sobs as she felt the full weight of Roger’s love for her.
Since Roger had returned from tour a week and a half ago, everything had been perfect. Almost perfect. Y/N had been feeling as though she had hardly seen her boyfriend, he was always practicing with the band and, while she understood that the band was important, one of the most important things in Roger’s life, she had missed him.
After expressing these feelings to Roger the previous evening, he had invited his girlfriend to join the band at practice the following day, once Y/N had finished her shift at work. He had been feeling much the same as she had, if he was being honest. While he understood Freddie’s keenness to write the next album so they could start recording ASAP, he wanted nothing more than to spend a little while with Y/N in the comfort of their home.
She was his priority.
“Y/N!” John was the first to notice her presence as she awkwardly moved into the room. John and Y/N had always been close - the two more soft-spoken members of their band-family had gravitated towards each other in a way that Roger had only hoped they would.
Roger raised his eyebrows as the bassist was quick to cross the room and embrace his girlfriend in a hug.
“Rog said you were coming today!” John beamed. Said drummer stood from behind his kit and joined the two. Freddie gave a dramatic sigh before giving in and joining the group, seeing Brian placing down his guitar as well.
Roger was quick to place his arm around her waist and kiss her cheek. an action that she grinned at, leaning further into his loving touch.
“She’s my priority,” Roger pointed out to John.
“What about the band?” Freddie asked with a raised eyebrow, quickly hugging Y/N in greeting.
“The band’s my other priority, obviously. I play better with her here anyway,” Roger declared, winking at his girlfriend, who shoved his shoulder playfully, the action making him laugh.
“I’m already in love with you, Rog, you don’t need to flirt to bad anymore,” Y/N teased and Roger chuckled, kissing her lips.
“Has he even told you he loves you back?” John asked Y/N later, when Roger and Brian had both returned to their instruments, trying to fit the song together. Freddie was sat in the corner, listening to them with his eyes closed, calculating their next move in the song, as he often did.
“Yeah he has,” Y/N assures her friend quickly.
“He didn’t say it earlier, that’s all,” Y/N smiled at John, shaking her head a little.
“Rog doesn’t like saying it so much - but I know it anyway, he makes sure of it,”
“How’d you mean?”
“It’s the little things, Deaky, like inviting me here today, just so we could spend more time together, or like yesterday when he came home even just an hour earlier to help me cook because he knew I’d been feeling down,”
“That’s sweet,” Y/N’s eyes wandered over to Roger, as they always did. Her blond haired drummer caught her eye and offered her a playful wink, causing the smile to widen on her face.
“I’m just lucky I guess,”
Roger grinned when he entered his house to be greeted by the smell of a home cooked meal.
“Princess?” He called, slipping his shoes off of his feet. “I’m home!”
“I’m in the kitchen,” Roger followed the sound of her voice, smiling even wider as he saw her, wrapping his arms around her from behind and bringing her into a tight hug, feeling her relaxing back into his arms.
“It smells good,” he commented, spinning her around and kissing her. Y/N wound her arms around his neck, smiling up at him before leaning up on her tiptoes again to press another kiss to his lips.
“Thanks, how are the boys? Practice?” Her voice was quiet, content and the soft tones of it helped to relax Roger.
“Stressful - Freddie’s being a dick, he was late again, and then shit all over our ideas,”
“You didn’t fight him did you?”
“No,” Roger paused, mulling over his thoughts. “I don’t think it’s his fault anyway,”
“Paul?” Y/N asked and Roger nodded, leaning down to kiss her again.
“He’s changing Freddie,” the drummer sighed and Y/N gave a sad nod.
“Bring him back, Rog, I know you can,”
“I’m so glad I have you in my life,” Roger commented as he watched Y/N draw away from him, plating up dinner. She looked at him over her shoulder, smiling wide.
“You’re such a dork, how could anyone mistake you for a rock king,” she teased. Roger let out a laugh, shaking his head.
“I am a rock legend,” Roger was quick to disagree.
“Who likes to have his hair plaited,” Y/N was laughing as she placed the plates on the table. Roger squeezed her sides as he walked past her and she squealed away from him, glaring at her boyfriend who just gave her a cheeky grin in reply.
“I’m only a sap for you,”
“That’s... reassuring?” She questioned, cocking an eyebrow. Roger beamed and nodded.
“I love you,” he says suddenly. Y/N’s head snapped up. “I know I don’t say it much but I do,”
“I know you do, Rog,” she said, reaching over the table and grabbing his hand. “And I love you too, you don’t need to say it if you don’t want to,”
“It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just that sometimes the words don’t seem enough and... you can fake words,” he said. Y/N squeezed his hand tightly, never wanting to let him go.
“I know, Rog. But it’s okay, I understand,”
“You’re my favourite person on Earth,”
“You’re mine as well,”
