While the god jumped up and down with excitement, the invisible camera shifted to the right moving Anubis out of frame and to a smaller woman on the roof of the colosseum. She waved, "Hiya... I'm gonna answer mod questions like this... kinda fun having your own insert, you know?"

The lady looked down to the still happy egyptian god, "I myself would speculate that they put him against Rasputin, death against the man refusing to die, but then again we have to keep in mind that Odin and Loki are definitely fighting still too. I don't know who they'd be up against though, Loki maybe against Nostredam and Odin against Kintoki." She sighs.

"But I'd also like to see Anubis go up against Häyhä, the sniper hunting the god so to speak. But my bet is on Rasputin."

blue beetle (2023) has what i can only describe as sharkboy & lavagirl swag if you’re wondering. it knows perfectly well that the sci-fi visual elements are hard to suspend disbelief on, so it embraces that fact with a rainbow of color gels, pearlescent luster finishes and blue lightning. it’s not “believable” by like, mcu standards, and it’s not trying to be, it embraces camp with open arms and looks so much better than if they’d tried to play it off straight.
