Janine stumbled. Felix’s speed--even checked to something almost-human--was a struggle to keep up with, especially in her shoes.
“Oh, here-” He checked himself at the last second to veer down a side hall.
She yelped and skidded, one of her flats flying off as she pivoted to keep up without his grip on her hand dislocating something. “Felix-!”
“What?” He wasn’t even breathing hard.
She was starting to. “Remember I’m still human, babe.”
A sheepish laugh and Felix did slow a little. “Sorry, I just want enough distance for this to be sporting.” He tossed a grin over his shoulder. “Y’know, since you’re human.”
Touché. Janine did her best to snort a sarcastic laugh.
Felix ran them through a couple more whiplash inducing turns, then just as Janine’s bare foot was starting to sting from running, he braked to an abrupt halt. “This’ll do.”
Janine chuckled as she followed him into the closet. It was surprisingly tight quarters given the size of this place. Wouldn’t they need more space for cleaning supplies? “Think he’ll find us?”
Felix laughed as he shut the door. “Assuming he actually cooperates and didn’t just say he would to get me to leave--watch your step, babe--yeah, he probably will.”
Janine gingerly shuffled to the depth of the closet, careful not to stub her toes on anything. “Then what’s the point of this...?” She smiled as Felix joined her with great care. The warmth of him pressed so close sent her already-rapid heartbeat ratcheting up a couple more notches.
“Think of it as... alternate combat training,” he said, and she could hear the grin in his voice. “It’s a chance for you to practice regulating your heart rate and breathing, in case you’re ever hiding and need to make it harder for a supernatural to find you. Even a few extra seconds can make a difference.”
“Oh, you’re the wrong partner for that,” Janine informed him, hand seeking his as she grinned wide in the pitch-black. He’d still see it. “My heart’s always racing around y-”
Felix cut her off with a finger pressed to her lips, other hand intertwining with hers to give a squeeze. “Ditto, but I hear him coming,” he murmured in her ear.
The extra-close proximity did nothing to help her efforts at calming her pounding heart or settling her breathing, but she still tried. Grinning against Felix’s finger as heavy bootsteps in the hall drew near enough she could hear them.
The pair pressed further back as the steps drew closer, holding their breath. Her heart was still pounding, and she wasn’t sure if it was from running or from Felix’s arm pressed full-length against hers.
The steps still slowed in their hallway. Stopped outside the closet. Paused in mounting silence.
Until a fist banged the door. Janine barely managed to strangle off the surprised yelp, felt Felix flinch next to her, his elbow digging lightly into her ribs.
“You sound like a pair of damn jackhammers in there,” Mason barked, the door not muffling his annoyed tone in the slightest. “At least make it a challenge. No wonder Nate was able to find you so easy after you wrecked his shit.”
They managed not to burst into matching peals of laughter until his footsteps had faded.
“Guess we’ll have to find someone else to help if we want to try again,” Janine mumbled, Felix’s finger still resting against her lips.
He slid his hand away, tracing her jaw with his thumb. “I think once was enough for today, babe.” He gave her hand a squeeze. “Maybe we should go talk about ways you can get better at this...?”
She smirked. From his tone, the talking part would be brief. “Sounds good to me,” she murmured in his ear, leaning close enough she could feel it when his pulse jumped. “One thing first; you help me find my shoe. Those are my favorites.”
“Deal,” Felix laughed, and he stole a kiss before edging forward to open the door, hand still linked with hers.

NOTE: This has been sitting in my drafts since literally late 2018, roughly 2 months after this video was posted on YouTube. I decided to finally post it... 5 years later. 👀
Harry = Chandler
Ron Weasley = Ross Geller
Hermione = Rachel
Neville = Joey
Ginny Weasley = Monica Geller
Luna = Phoebe
Ron = Ross and Ginny = Monica because they are siblings. You literally cannot have them in any other role because they are siblings. That's why I have their full names listed for just those two.
Harry = Chandler. Both are sarcastic and have a dark sense of humor. Both are insecure towards their main love interest and soulmate, Ginny = Monica. [In Book 6, Harry feels that the only way Dean/Ginny will break up is if he takes Felix Felicis. Even after Dean/Ginny break up, Harry still feels insecure because other guys ask Ginny out, and he wants to take Felix Felicis again to put the odds in his favor.] Both also get very jealous when another guy shows interest in, or dates, Ginny = Monica (Dean, Viktor; Nurse Dan, Richard, Don). Both are also Amazon Chasers towards Ginny = Monica. Both also fear how Ron = Ross will react to them falling in love with and dating Ginny = Monica. Both also have been best friends with Ron = Ross since the day they first met, and were roommates all throughout their years at school (Hogwarts; college).
Ron = Ross. Both get very jealous when other guys show interest in, or date, their main love interest, Hermione = Rachel (Viktor, Cormac; Paolo, Mark, Joshua, Gavin, Joey). Both also have a long-standing Will They Or Won't They relationship with Hermione = Rachel that lasts for literally the entire series. Both are also very happy that their best friend, Harry = Chandler, is dating their younger sister, Ginny = Monica, and become brothers-in-law by the end of the series. Ron is initially quiet after Harry/Ginny publicly share their first kiss, but after a moment, he gives them his blessing; Ross is initially angry to learn about Chandler/Monica, partially due to his life issues and taking medication for his rage, but after learning that they are sincerely in love, he gives them his blessing.
Hermione = Rachel. Both get very jealous, to the point of being petty and scornful about it, when their main love interest, Ron = Ross, dates or is interested in other girls (Fleur, Lavender; Julie, Bonnie, Emily, Jill, Katie). Both are also not very interested in playing sports compared to Ginny = Monica, who is their closest female friend. Both are also happy to ship Harry/Ginny = Chandler/Monica.
Neville = Joey. Academically, both are the worst of the sextet (Neville because, up until the sixth book, he kept using his father's wand and not his own true wand; Joey because he didn't care about school and focused more on having sex). Despite that, both show immense talent in one area (Herbology for Neville; cooking spaghetti sauce and baking cookies for Joey). Both are sensitive underneath the surface. Both are fiercely loyal to their friends.
Ginny = Monica. Both have three relationships total, where the first two lasted about roughly a year each (Michael, Dean; Richard, Pete), and then they marry their third and final boyfriend, who is their soulmate (Harry; Chandler). Both were also initially shy towards Harry = Chandler in their first official meeting. Both also get jealous, but not to the point of being petty or scornful about it, when other girls show interest in Harry = Chandler (Gabrielle, Cho; Wendy). Both are also Violently Protective Girlfriends towards Harry = Chandler (Ginny defends Harry from Malfoy in Book 2 and then Blaise/Cormac/Dean/Seamus/Hermione in Book 6; Monica defends Chandler from Janine in Season 6 and then their wedding photographer in Season 7). Both are also tomboys, hot-tempered, and enjoy playing sports.
Luna = Phoebe. Both are Cloudcuckoolanders who occasionally make their friends feel uncomfortable due to their antics and beliefs. Nuff said.

Deep End - Part 7

Overall Summary: AU/ Minho is the new accountant at Aura's work, and he's got his sights set on her. But what happens when her ex Han comes back into the picture.
Workplace romance with a blast from the past for Aura.
Part 7 Summary: Aura sees Minho after the date gone wrong. Office sabotage.

Coffee. She needed coffee. It was two in the afternoon, and Aura felt like a zombie. She’d managed to get through two meetings, drop off some clothes to the hospital, fix a technical glitch in the recording booth, and defuse a “debate” between Binnie and Felix. Autopilot my ass, she thought to herself. But the most important thing she achieved today was to avoid Minho. She hadn’t seen or heard him all day. Felix had told Hyunjin that he was locked away working and hadn’t left his desk all day.
She walked down the last of the stairs to the main foyer area towards the cafe. Was he avoiding her? She shook her head. He probably hadn’t even given her a second thought.
Boof!
Aura nearly fell over. She had been so deep in thought she wasn’t looking where she’d been going. She shyly looked up to find Minho standing before her. Shit!
“Oh, Hi Minho,” Aura started. Her voice didn’t sound like her own, but had a rather bizarre shrillness she didn’t recognise.
“Aura, are you okay?” Minho placed his hands on her shoulders, and leaned down to get a better look at her.
Aura stiffened uncomfortably. He was close. He was too close. She could smell his cologne wafting towards her. It smelled good. She didn’t want to look him in the eye, and she certainly didn’t want him seeing how crappy she looked today. She was sure she looked how she felt. Like shit.
“Minho, It’s a good thing I finally ran into you. I wanted to explain to you. About last -”
“Look. Aura. I,” he began and ran his fingers through his hair. “Come sit.” He ushered her to an empty bench in the foyer. “Look,” he hesitated. Aura felt sick. Whatever Minho was about to say it couldn’t be good.
“I think…maybe we should have some distance. You know, maybe keep things…professional. I - I feel it’s for the best.”
Aura’s mouth hung agape, stunned. “Wait. What?” she eventually managed. Minho wouldn’t quite meet her eyes and his expression looked pained. “I’m… I’m really sorry for stringing you along. It was wrong of me.” He finally met her eyes. “It’s not you. It’s me. I- I just can’t do this.” He turned and walked away, leaving Aura standing in the middle of the foyer unable to move and as though she’d been kicked in the guts.
Aura hid in the podcast recording booth for the rest of the day. She couldn’t think properly. She didn’t want to face Hyunjin and Binnie just yet. She would fill them in later. For now she just let herself cry. Fuck you, Han. If it weren’t for him then her and Minho’s night would have turned out completely different. Maybe? Maybe Minho would have fucked her in her own bed and still broke things off with her today? Fuck Minho. Fuck men. They’re all just a bunch of assholes.

Minho remained friendly and polite with Aura for the next few weeks, treating her the same as all the other staff. He didn’t go out of his way to talk to her, but if he had to interact with her he was nice about it. It almost made her more mad than if he acted like he hated her. At least if he seemed like he hated her then she could get over him for being an asshole.
“What a fucking dickhead.” She mumbled to herself while at her desk. She still didn’t understand why Minho had broken things off. He never did give her a proper explanation, and it looked like she’d never truly know what went wrong. Perhaps she was just a bit of fun for him? Or maybe he’d found a better option? That was probably it. She had seen than bitch Janine hanging around him an awful lot. What has she got that Aura doesn’t?
“She works in his department, of course she’s going to be seen close to him?” Binnie reminded her.
“Plus, he doesn’t look at her in that way.” Hyunjin added, looking up from his computer.
“What way?” said Binnie.
“The way he looks at Aura. He still looks at her like that when she’s not looking, you know?”
Aura’s eyes flicked up. “What are you even talking about?” But she knew, because she’d caught him a few times herself. Not that she was looking at him or anything.
“He still gazes at you, babe.” Hyunjin said with wide eyes.
“Well I wish he wouldn’t ‘cos that just makes things harder.” She mumbled returning her attention back to her work.

“Thanks for all your help, Aura. It’s meant a lot to us.” Keely smiled.
“Hey,” Aura reached across the dining table and squeezed Keely’s hand. “Of course. You’re basically family.”
Aura had popped by Keely’s home for a cup of coffee. Their Mum was on track to make a full recovery, but remained in hospital for now.
“So, how is Han?” Aura hesitated in asking Keely about her brother.
Keely offered a wry smile. “He’s… he’s doing okay. He’s still beating himself up about it, you know, blaming himself.”
“But why? He didn’t do anything wrong?” But as she said those words, Aura remembered what he’d said that night on the bench. “I was meant to pick Mum up from her appointment, and I was held up at the…”
“He was running late from his recovery mentoring session.” Keely explained. “I can understand why he feels the way he does… but,” Keely met Aura’s eyes. “I could never blame him.”
The two women sat in silence for a moment. Keely had dealt with a drunk Han almost as much as Aura. Who knows what she had to deal with after Aura left him? Keely stayed by his side when Aura couldn’t. Did Aura give up on him too easily? Is she a coward or a bitch for leaving him?
Why the fuck would Keely ever want to speak to Aura again after leaving her brother like she did? She almost felt like she shouldn’t be there, sitting in Keely’s house. Aura didn’t deserve her kindness.
Aura cleared her throat. “Recovery mentoring session?” she asked curiously.
Keely blinked, her mind elsewhere. “Yeah. He sees this volunteer guy every week at the rehab centre. They’d become pretty good friends, actually. Anyway he was with him the night Mum got hit.”
“Hey Sis!” The front door opened and Han walked in, interrupting the conversation. Aura’s heart nearly jumped out of her chest. She was surprised to see him, and even more surprised at the nervousness that arose as he approached them.
Han stopped in his tracks when he saw Aura sitting at the dining table. “Oh, Aura. Hi.” He said, his gaze lingering on her a moment longer than necessary.
“Hannie, have you eaten? Want me to cook something?” Keely said scurrying off to the kitchen.
“Food would be great, Keely.” He called after her but remained rooted to the spot
Aura swallowed nervously. “I… Um… Need to get going.” She made to stand up.
“Please, Aura. You don’t have to leave. Stay for some food.” He kept his eyes downcast, focusing on the floor just in front of Aura’s feet.
“I insist.” Keely called from the kitchen.
Keely’s rolled omelet was delicious, but the atmosphere was awkward. Keely did her best to drive the conversation, and Aura tried her best to be polite, but Han stayed mostly silent. Aura was confused about how he was making her feel. She thought time would help her move on, that she’d be over him, or at least feel indifferent. But sitting with him eating his sister’s cooking, it was clear that although her anger and resentment had faded, there were other feelings still there.
Was it just that he’d been someone she’d cared about for so long, that deep down she’ll always feel something for him? Or was it guilt that was doing things to her heart? Why did she feel a strong pull to be close to him? It was probably because she was still upset with Minho. Yes that was surely it. Aura was just feeling wounded and rejected, and Han just happened to be the only other man that was in her proximity.
But why does she keep looking at his neck and remembering the taste of it when she’d nibble on his skin? Or watch his hands and remember how skilled he was with them? How he knew exactly what to do with them inside her pussy.
Her gaze landed on his lips. She remembered the way they felt on her own lips. The way they’d kiss her entire body. The way they’d suck on her clit.
Aura felt flushed and ashamed. No. This was not right. This was not okay. Her eyes shot up to Han’s eyes. He’d been watching her too. Had he been watching her the entire time?
“I really need to go.” She said out of the blue and collected her handbag. “It was good to see you, Keely. Han.” She nodded towards him on her way out.
On her drive home, Aura felt nothing but sick with confusion and guilt. The more she was learning about Han and his recovery, the more she felt she could’ve done more to support him. Instead, she’d cut him out of her life in one swift moment. Where was her compassion? Where was her empathy? She felt like a fucking coward. And why was she feeling things for him? That was certainly not something she wanted to give her attention to. It had to be part of the guilt.
She smacked the steering wheel and cried out in an anger. Between her unresolved guilt about Han, and the feeling of rejection from Minho, Aura felt like the biggest fucking loser in the world. She wasn’t good enough. Simple as that. She wasn’t good enough to help her partner when he needed her, and she wasn’t good enough for Minho to want to be more than a brief fuck-buddy. Was there really something wrong with her?
She drove the rest of the way home in some sort of trance. She was fed up. Tired. Confused. She dumped her handbag on the dining table and went straight to her room, hiding under the covers and quite happy to never come out again.

“Morning people!” Felix announced himself as he entered Aura’s office.
“And how did we pull up after last night?” He scooted around behind Hyunjin and gave him a prod on the cheek.
“Ugh you stink, Felix! Get off me!”
“Last time I do a work thing on a Wednesday” Binnie piped up.
Aura laughed dryly to herself. “Yep, us folks at SKZ know how to go hard.”
Felix wasn’t listening, he was too busy staring confusedly at Hyunjin’s laptop screen. He scrunched up his nose. “Since when does your job involve watching Netflix?”
Hyunjin looked up at Aura and Binnie innocently. “I don’t know what you’re talking about”.
“What is it anyway?” Felix continued.
“Yeah what are you doing?” Binnie was now out of his seat and around behind Hyunjin, and stood next to Felix. They both squinted to see the images despite the glare.
“Uggh! Hyunjin!” Binnie said “Come on we have so much work to do.” He pouted and returned back to his desk, plonking himself down on his chair and then deciding to spin around on it.
“Binne, you’ll be sick, hun. Just.. stop, okay?” Aura said, then turned her attention to Hyunjin. “What are you watching anyway?”.
“K-Drama.” Hyunjin winked at Aura. “And I am working, Binne. It’s for my podcast”.
“We’ll have to watch one of these when I come over tonight.. You know ‘Netflix and Chill’.” Felix laughed at himself, thinking he was clever. He gave Hyunjin a peck on the cheek and then sauntered out of the office.
“Yeah we’ll see about that.” Hyunjin mumbled.
Aura sat quietly in her chair. Her head was pounding, and she felt deeply embarrassed to even show her face at work after last night. Holy shit. She massaged her forehead hoping to ease some of the throbbing. She didn’t want to recall last night’s events.
Chris had decided it would be a wonderful team building activity to all go out to the Karaoke bar.
“It’ll be fun.” Begged Felix when Aura said she wouldn’t go. Minho was going to be there and she did not want to run into him after his rejection the other day. But Aura ended up going along after her friends begged her. That was her first mistake. Everything went downhill after that. Aura got smashed. Aura danced and sang sexy whilst trying to give Minho a lap dance. Minho left the room. Ugghh! How fucking humiliating. But the worst part of the entire night was slipping into a side room so she could take a moment to die, where she ran into Minho with that fucking bitch Janine trying to climb onto his lap.
Fuck him, then. She took a sip of the water bottle on her desk and logged back into her emails. She clicked on a new email that was addressed to all staff. Her jaw dropped. There on the screen was a video of her from the karaoke bar singing and dancing in front of Minho. But not only that, underneath the video was a link and title that said “Aura’s secret podcast”. Aura clicked on the link and suddenly the room was filled with the sound of people having sex.
“Oh… yes… fuck… Oh God… like that…”
Aura’s face turned white as a ghost. It was an audio of her and Minho having sex. Her mind frantically tried to work out where this had come from.
“You like me fucking you on a desk at work, huh?”
“Yes… grrr… Come for me, kitten…”
Of course, the podcast booth. They must’ve knocked the microphone on.
Aura began to panic. Anxiety coursed through her and her body felt like it was on fire. She was going to vomit. She couldn’t breath, and she felt light headed.
Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Oh fuck.
Hyunjin and Binnie looked at each other and then to Aura. “Kitten?” Hyunjin gulped.
“Maybe most people won’t open it?” Binnie tried to sound hopeful but he wasn’t convincing. “I’ll ring Felix. He’ll sort it. Fuck. Aura. You need to speak to Chris. Whoever has it out for Minho is fucking with you too.”
Hyunjin reached across and patted Aura’s hand “It’ll be fine, babes.” he said gently.
How many people had heard it? Ahhh! she had to stop the email. Somehow. Was there even a way?
Aura opened the work chat and clicked on Felix’s chat icon.
Aura: Felix! WTF? Have you seen the email?
She scratched her scalp vigorously, waiting for a reply. Then ping!
Felix: Fuck! This is bad, love.
Aura: That isn’t helpful. What can you do?
Felix: Well, we can recall the ones that haven’t been opened, but the ones that have… Sorry.
Aura: Shit! Shit! Shit! What about the sender? How can I tell who sent it?
Felix: It’s from a main email, not a specific one. Let me look into it.
Aura: OK Thanks!
Suddenly, Aura was confronted with a bunch of “pings” from the staff chat. Had Felix figured it out already? She flicked the chat open. It wasn’t Felix. Instead there were ten new chats icons. Aura clicked on the first.
Jenny from marketing: WTF? Are you okay?
She clicked on another chat head.
Tim: That’s real bad luck.
Aura continued to click through the other chat heads. More of the same.
Tears began to well up in her eyes. She turned off the chat to off-line. Felix would have to call her or come in to give her an update.
She turned her browser back to emails. There were emails upon emails there too.
Everyone knew.

“Where the hell have you been?” Binnie barked at Felix when he finally walked into their office.
“Oh love,” he wrapped his arms around Aura pulling her into a compassionate hug. He peeled away and wiped her tear-stained cheek.
“Aura?” He finally said pulling up a chair beside her. He hesitated momentarily. “I know where that email came from.” he bit his lip, unsure how to continue.
Hyunjin looked wide eyed. “Tell us!” he demanded. “Who’s the arsehole, Felix?”
Aura waited for Felix to respond. The silence felt heavy.
“Don’t get pissed at me,” he began. “But it came from Minho’s account.”
Aura opened her mouth in disbelief. She was stunned She opened her mouth to speak. Felix raised his hand to hush her, “But… that doesn’t mean it was Minho who sent it.”
“What does that even mean?” cried Hyunjin.
“Well think about it.” Felix lowered his tone to continue “He definitely didn’t record the video from last night. Someone else had to have. It doesn’t make sense for it to be Minho. Why would he want the whole building hearing the two of you… ?” he waved his arms around.
Hyunjin scoffed. But Aura nodded slowly, considering what he had just said. He was right. No one would send that video out unless they wanted to humiliate both her and Minho. Why would Minho do that?
“Hmmm, maybe if we can find out who logged into the computer around that time, then we’d have a lead. I can’t believe such a fucker would do that to you Aura”. Hyunjin offered.
“You know though,” Felix leaned back in the chair. He scrunched his face thoughtfully. “When I was talking to Seungmin about those files he said got mixed up. Well, he mentioned something about Minho’s profile being deleted too.”
Aura and Hyunjin glanced at each other, wide-eyed. Aura was confused. “What do mean? What are you saying?”.
“Think about it.” Felix began counting on his fingers, starting with his thumb. “Minho’s profile and details were wiped from the database. The report Minho was responsible for was tampered with. A video of Min being serenaded by a woman who was wasted goes viral at work, and audio of you two… you know.”
“Fucking? You can actually say the word you know, Felix? You say fuck all the time.” Binnie stated.
“Fine!” Felix scowled at Binnie, “fucking.” Satisfied with his Sherlock skills, Felix relaxed back into the chair.
“But, how are we going to get to the bottom of this?” Hyunjin sighed.
Aura’s desk phone buzzed. Aura felt like she was going to be sick. “I can’t. I can’t answer it.”
“It’s okay, sweetie.” Binnie soothed and picked up Aura’s phone. “Aura’s phone, Changbin speaking…. Hmmm. Okay. I’ll let her know.”
“Chris wants you in his office now.”

Aura entered Chris’ office to find Minho was also there. He greeted her with a curt nod but didn’t speak to her. He looked as mortified as she did.
“Great. So now you’re both here,” Chris scratched his head. This was awkward for him. Never in a million years would Aura ever expect to be in Chris’s office for a reason like this.
“Chris, I know it wasn’t very… professional… for us to be using the workspace for… There’s no excuse and I wish to apologise.” Minho explained.
Chris laughed dryly. “I actually don’t care about what you two are doing, but really shouldn’t be doing it here. As your boss I need to be discouraging it.”
Aura glanced at Minho who looked awkward as fuck.
Chan sighed. “But... I’m more concerned about how an email with inappropriate content has been leaked.” Chris looked at Aura and then Minho. “I’m really sorry this has happened to you both. That I haven’t been able to protect your privacy. We’re looking into it, but I think it’d be best if you both took some time off.”
“What?! Wait.” Aura and Minho began to protest.
Chris held up his hands to silence them. “You can work from home. But, please, it’s best if you are both not here for the time being.”
Aura was furious and Minho was about to say something else, when a knock at the door interrupted him.
Felix cracked the door open, poking his head in. “We’ve found the culprit.” He announced.

Aura left the office building, but only made it as far as the park across the road. She plonked herself down on the park bench. She just sat, feeling completely numb. She would have cried if she hadn’t felt so exhausted and empty. Instead, she just closed her eyes and focused on her breath.
Everything will be fine. Everyone will forget. I will be okay.
She repeated this to herself like a mantra for the next ten minutes, but images of her work colleagues listening to her engaging in something so personal, so intimate overwhelmed her mind.
Eventually, she opened her eyes to find Minho sitting next to her. Aura didn’t know how long he’d been sitting there. She didn’t exactly want to see him, but right now he was the only one that had any idea of the humiliation she was feeling.
“How are you?” He asked kindly, concern in his eyes.
“Oh my God, Minho.” She shook her head. “Everything is so fucked right now.” She looked up at the cloudy sky and let out a loud breath.
“It is. I’m sorry.” He whispered. “So,” Minho continued after a moment. “They found out who is behind the… email… well who was behind all of it really.”
“Who?” Aura’s eyes widened.
Minho sucked his teeth. “It was Janine.” He said. “It turns out she applied for my position and when she didn’t get it, well…” he shrugged.
Aura’s mind went instantly to Minho and Janine in the side room at the karoke bar.
“Nothing happened with her, that night.” It was as if Minho had sensed her thoughts.
“It’s really none of my business.” She said flatly, glaring at him. She pretended she didn’t care.
“Look,” he shuffled closer to Aura, making her body tense. “I didn’t give you a proper explanation. About ending things so abruptly. I’m sorry.” He said sincerely.
Aura looked him in the eye. “You didn’t give me any explanation! I don’t know what I did wrong, or if you thought I was expecting, I don’t know, more than fucking in the office?” She felt anger rising in her body. “Just tell me why. So I know, instead of racking my brain trying to figure it out.”
Minho’s demeanour remained calm. Aura could feel his eyes on her, trying to connect to hers, but she couldn’t make eye contact. Instead she kept her eyes downcast.
“You know how I mentioned I volunteer for a program?” he began. Aura nodded, unsure where this was headed. “Well, it’s at a community facility where I am part of a program where we connect with and mentor those recovering from various addictions.” Minho paused before continuing. “So… I have this…. client, I guess you could call it. He and I have become really good friends over the past nine months. We meet regularly. Sometimes we talk, sometimes just hang out.” He cleared his throat. “You know how Han blames himself for his mother’s accident?” Aura’s heart stopped. She snapped her head up, locking eyes with Minho. What was he saying? How does he know this?
“Han was with me. He’s the person I’m mentoring, Aura.”
Her mind recalled the night when Han was on her doorstep. They had recognised each other. “I’m sure Han’s okay.”
“Why didn’t you say something earlier?” she demanded, fury in her eyes.
“I didn’t want to break Han’s trust.” Minho replied calmly.
“Is that why you had to leave all of a sudden that night?”
Minho nodded. “I tried looking for him too. But I couldn’t find him. I was relieved to learn that he was safe.”
Then it dawned on her. Han must have told him about some girlfriend that abandoned him in his darkest hour and never spoke to him again. She must have sounded like a selfish bitch? No wonder Minho didn’t want anything to do with her after finding out that the girlfriend Han talked about was in fact Aura. Panic pulsed through her veins. She couldn’t breathe. That’s why he broke it off with her.
“I have to go.” Aura needed to get as far away from Minho as possible.
“Wait. I haven’t fin-” Minho placed a hand on her shoulder.
“No. Minho. I can’t stay.” She removed his grip and left as quickly as she could, not looking back. There was no way she could stay and keep talking to him when she felt so ashamed of herself.

Progress on the Borg Siblings
Slowly but surely I am redrawing all the Borg siblings, I'm not joking these guys are taking like 6 hours each.
Chloe probably will be next because goodness only knows shes the biggest change, she went from head of security to partner of Echo Julian who's also known as Mr E, those two cause trouble constantly they are a hacking team that you do not want to mess with especially if you run off technology she is not the goody two shoes she was before.
I still got a lot of people to finish up because so far I have several Works in progress but the only finished ones are Violet Harriet Simone and Roxanne
Leaving Chloe,Xian, Artemis, Rebecca, Quixie, Cici, Felix, Janine,Freida,Penny Jennifer and Drusilla
At 6 hours each....it's gonna be interesting. But gotta get this done.

Prince Joachim of Denmark is breaking his silence on a family decision.
The Danish prince, 53, reacted to his mother Queen Margrethe II's decision to strip his four children of their prince and princess titles, which the Danish Royal House announced Wednesday.
"We are all very sad. It's never fun to see your children being mistreated like that," he told the national newspaper Ekstra Bladet on Thursday. "They find themselves in a situation they do not understand."Prince Joachim of Denmark
"I was given five days' notice," Joachim added.
The reporter responded that she thought he learned of the Queen's plans in May, prompting the sixth in line to the throne to explain that wasn't quite the case.
"In May, I was presented with a plan, which basically stated that when the children each turned 25, it would happen," Joachim said. "Athena turns 11 in January," he added of his youngest child.
"How has this affected your relationship with your mother?" the journalist asked.
Holding for a moment, looking emotional, Joachim replied, "I don't think I need to elaborate here," and turned to walk away.
In a statement to B.T., another national outlet, the palace insisted that the announcement should not have come as a surprise.
"As the Queen stated yesterday, the decision has been a long time coming. We understand that there are many emotions at stake at the moment, but we hope that the Queen's wish to future-proof the Royal Palace will be respected," a spokesperson for the Danish Royal Palace told the outlet.
Doubling down on his argument in his own remarks to B.T., Joachim stated, "I was given five days' notice of this. To tell my children that on New Year's their identity will be taken from them. I am very, very sorry to see them uncomprehending about what is happening over their heads."
The father of four — who is dad to sons Nikolai, 23, Felix, 20, and Henrik, 13, and daughter Athena, 10 — added that he's mystified why everything was accelerated.
"I simply don't know. I originally asked for time to think and give my feedback. That would also be taken into account," the Danish royal told B.T., adding that his kids were having a hard time processing the change.

#9 The Ghost at Dawn’s House: Chapter 2
Dawn gets spooked by her old farmhouse.
Dawn starts out by comparing she and Sharon to Felix and Oscar from The Odd Couple. But while Sharon isn't a slob like Oscar (I beg to differ), she's hardcore absent-minded (which I don't remember Oscar being) and a total pothead. Dawn also claims she's neat...yeah, that changes later on. Though I guess anyone's a slob when they're living with Richard and Mary Anne. At this point, Dawn doesn't think Sharon and Richard will end up together because she's too busy working. Shake a leg, you matchmaker!
This is also the book with the hedgeclippers in the living room. Was Sharon trying to mow the carpet?
Dawn runs out into the barn to look for Jeff to help her with dinner and while she's wondering if people have died there (as you do), Jeff jumps out and scares her.
They make a dinner of salad with cottage cheese, pineapple, peaches, and coconut topping and heat up a vegetable casserole, which they always seem to eat in earlier books. In this book, Dawn says they're just health food nuts and she’s not a militant vegetarian like she becomes later on.
Anyway, the house was built in the 18th century (the year changes from book to book) and Dawn is convinced the house has a secret passage. Claudia lent her a Nancy Drew book, The Hidden Staircase, which put the idea in her head. Holy foreshadowing, Batman!
Sharon appears, startling Dawn yet again. For someone who reads a lot of ghost stories, she's on edge a lot! Sharon takes off her glasses and places them in an empty butter dish (empty because she used it all to grease the driveway last time she was high I'm guessing) and they go outside to have dinner with Jeff. But have to go inside right afterwards because it starts thunderstorming! D'oh!
So what does Dawn do at night when there's a thunderstorm outside? Why, read only the hottest ghost book in Stoneybrook! She said she was on the waiting list for it. It's called Ghosts and Spooks, Chills and Thrills: Stories NOT to Be Read After Dark. And no, it's not a real book. Anyway, as Dawn's reading “The Hand of the Witch,” the lights flicker and she freaks out and thinks there's poltergeists in the house.
A window rattles (because, you know, it's windy outside) and then Dawn hears a tap on the wall and she screams bloody murder. Sharon comes in and calms Dawn down. Houses moan when they settle, it's windy out, of course the electricity's flickering in their old house. She tells Dawn to put the book away and go to bed and she leaves to go back to her Pink Floyd album and secret stash. Dawn immediately switches some lights on and it takes her hours to fall asleep because she thinks she hears someone moaning. It's probably Charlie and Janine in the Secret Passage.
