Writer Intro

About me:

Super into fantasy when writing and reading. Loves to enjoy lots of other genres in games/tv shows/movies.

WIPs:

Royal Road: Lost Roads (tentative, may change)

Takes place in a Celtic-inspired fantasy world. The world is currently in an ice age, and 500yrs previous one of the main characters had killed the sun, causing the cold to creep farther south. Through the centuries people have adapted well to the changes in their environment.

So far I've built the world, established the main group of characters, and written a couple of shorts. Not sure on the main story yet, or if it'll be like a serial, a series of shorts.

Collection of shorts (and eventually, hopefully a longer story) set in a celtic-inspired fantasy world. (spirits/gods/roundhouses/nature) Female MC is immortal. All four MCs are looking for their place in the world.

Immortal but mentally still a young girl, Madga wanders the world, running from anything that reminds her of her life before the death of the sun. After an accident that leaves her with a permanent illness, Ress leaves her children and tribe behind, wandering and training until she can earn back her role as a warrior and protector in her own eyes. Tuah beats her drum loud and wild. She's gone through the druidic training, but certain beliefs required of her leave her bristling. Cas'cerra is a warrior. He's expected to go out into the world for ten years to learn, and possibly gain a pack(a family). But he's content in staying home... that is until Madga comes back into his life; she hasn't aged a day since he last met her when he was a child.

How could you ever do this? Synopsis: Madga is travelling near Northern Suuroo when she comes upon a tribe that has drastically changed since the death of the sun. The air is thick and smells so bad that she has to cover her face, yet she can still feel the grime on her skin. What have they done?

...the touch of the wind. Synopsis: Madga discovers a long forgotten weapon.

I Don't Want To Fight Synopsis: A snow storm catches Madga off guard. Quickly seeking shelter, she runs into a group of Suuroo warriors... just before something comes out of the snows to attack them.

I'm gonna help her! Synopsis: Young Cas'cerra is visiting another tribe with his aunt and the dogs when he comes upon a girl in trouble. After fighting off her assailants he feels a connection with her and can't help but see that she's safe

They're Supposed To Help Us Synopsis: Tuah is in training to be a druid-bard. She beats her drum loud and wild without care. She followed the teachings of the druids, but when spirit attacks her friend and it shakes her beliefs and she begins to question everything they're taught her. It’s My Shame That I Can’t Protect You Synopsis: Ress is used to being a protector. She fights for her tribe and her children. But after a blow to the head she's sent south, away from the fighting and away from her purpose. She tries to be strong, tries to find something to fill the void, but nothing really works. Then one day a visitor comes and gives her an idea of how she can keep her life purpose.

Synopsis: Despite her hearing loss, Sophie still sings everyday after work at the café. There isn’t much to her life otherwise, that is until a puppy forces himself into it. Suddenly she can see the magical side of the world: spirits that share her bus route, doors that open to Otherworlds… and a man and a woman who are a little more than human and have their hearts set on her.

Books should have tags too! magical realism; main character has a hearing aid; inspired by ‘youkai’ and shoujo stories like Natsume’s Book of Friends, The Ancient Magus’ Bride, The Morose Mononokean, Kamisama Kiss, etc; a hopefully soft story with some action points; not romance heavy but there is some; mostly celtic mythology with a little bit of a few others here and there

Bell Chan

Ryu decided to stay in the tavern for that night. She doesn't feel like going home. In the morning Ryu get to work in the tavern. She was really anxious about what Bell's answer would be. She was preparing for a NO as well. She just wanted to get this over with. She decided to go home in the afternoon and ask him the answer.

Aiz was very nervous and anxious. Accidently Riveria slipped the fact that Aiz asked Bell out. Then it become a common knowledge among the Loki Familia . Loki was desperate, some are jealous of Bell, some are happy for Aiz, some worried for Aiz about the answer. Bell asked her time till evening. But she couldn't wait till evening. She just want to end this nervousness. She just prepared for the worst and went to meet Bell in the afternoon.

Freya was waiting patiently in the Babur tower. No news of Bell came out till the afternoon. She couldn't wait to see Bell in the girl form. She herself went to the Hestia Familia to see the result.

Bell wake up in the morning. Bell sit up with laziness. Bell felt really exhausted. Bell rubbed her eyes.

Bell noticed that his chest was feeling tight inside the shirt.

He looked down to his chest. He noticed that his chest was abnormally big as that of a normal size boobs.

He also noticed that his white hair have grown longer ( till the hips) and was so soft and fluffy.

Then he quickly unbutton his shirt. He saw boobs instead of his flat chest.

Bell was all red like a tomato ,panicking and sweating all over. His mind is going through many wierd thoughts.

He quickly checked weather his thing is safe or not. He found out that his thing is gone.

Bell " OH MY GOD... MY THING ... WHAT THE LIVING HELL... KAMI SAMA HELP...?

Bell noticed that he had a girly voice.

He don't know what to do. He quickly hide himself inside the Washroom.

Hestia and others respond quickly and come to check on Bell as they heard a girly voice from Bell's Room.

They couldn't find Bell in the room.

Bell cried out from the Bathroom.

Bell Crying and sobbing" How did l turn into this ? Who made me like this? I lost everything, I lost everything."

Hestia " Who is in this bathroom? Come out right now. Is Bell in there ? "

Bell " Kami Sama it is me. I lost my thing. How can I look in front of others ? I am ashamed . I want to die right now."

Hestia and others after listening close to the girly voice. They noticed that the voice was similar to Bell.

Haruhime " Bell sama, is that you who is speaking right now?"

Hestia" Bell Kun is that you? Why are you speaking like a girl ? Why are you screaming out from the washroom? what happened ? Open this door and let us in. ?

Bell opened the door. They saw a white haired beauty crying and covering herself in a bath towel.

Bell crying and sobbing " Kami sama help"

Hestia and Haruhime screamed" Ee... Eeeeeeee . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ."

Aisha was shocked and stunned to see Bell's new form. Hestia and other decided to help Bell. They summoned Amid to cure him. Amid was helpless as the curse was permanent.

Hestia cursed Hermes and Freya for doing this to her Bell. Bell becomes hopeless. Hestia and others calm him down. Bell had no other way but to accept his new form. He then tried on new girly dress which Lili and Haruhime brought from the shop especially for Bell.

Hestia blushing " Even if you are a girl you look really good in it. I mean you look fabulous. You look much better in this way.

Bell " Kamisama please stop. It's embarrassing. "

Ryu and Aiz reached health mansion at the same time. They stared at each other's face and wondered why the other had come.

Ryu" Sword Princes, why are you here? "

Aiz" I am here to visit Bell. And you are the Gale Wind aren't you? "

Ryu" You are not wrong, but today and from now on I will be different. He changed me a lot."

Aiz " Good for you then. You are not the only one he changed so far. He changed many people all along and that includes me. "

Ryu "Well I can see that on your face. But I want to ask you something this all time. Mind if I?

Aiz "Go ahead"

Ryu "Why did you reject him that day? I mean you mean a lot to him, yet you reject him. Why? Is it because he was weak back then?

Aiz " In my life I always make mistakes and drags everyone into my problem. It took some time for me to realize that my decision to join the Freya Familia was wrong. Instead I should have been with him. He proved me wrong not once but many times not just with his strength but also with his will power. I have decided, from how on I just want to be like him no matter what."

Ryu " A satisfying answer. So he is your hero too I guess."

Aiz " Yes , he is. But how did he become your hero anyway."

Ryu " For all the sins I have committed , time took its revenge in the form of Jura and that monster. I gave up to them. I throw myself to death. But Bell was arrogant and stubborn. He refused to give up on me even after he knows the truth about me. He fought to the death just for me. Bell returned my justice, my life and my family. I don't want to loose him at all. So I am going to make him mine no matter how many times he rejects me."

Aiz amazed" T-That's so bold of you."

Ryu " I guess we have the same feelings for him. "

Aiz with a determined smile. "Yes I do feel the same for him and I have no intension of loosing to you"

Ryu "In that case let me welcome you to the Health mansion as my rival".

Ryu just returned the smile and welcomed her.

Ryu and Aiz entered the Health Mansion. They saw a girl similar to that of Bell. She was so beautiful that she made both Ryu and Aiz to open their mouth in wonder. But they noticed that she was panicking and was nervous.

Ryu asked Lili" Who is she?"

Aiz " She seems familiar though "

Lili smiling " Just look closer and you can tell for yourself."

When they looked at her directly they saw the red rummy eyes.

Ryu " Wait a minute, is this ...?"

Aiz " BELL" .

Bell just nodded, ...

Ryu " Bell why are you wearing a girly outfit. Did something happen. You look so sad and nervous. But I must admit that it look really good on you."

Aiz " Yes you look really pretty".

Hestia " He.. no She is not crossdressing at all. From now on Bell will be a girl both internally and externally. "

Aiz " What do you mean by that?"

Ryu and Aiz become confused. Then they saw Amid, Lili, Haruhime, Rocky and Aisha nodding.

Then they look at Bell with a despair face. Bell also nodded shyly.

Ryu and Aiz " Ee... eeeeeee..."

Ryu " Wait Bell are you serious?, but how, that's impossible."

Then Aiz and Ryu looked at each other and nodded.

Ryu and Aiz caught Bell by their hand and dragged her into the dressing room.

Bell in a girly voice." W-what are you two doing? Where are you taking me?"

Aiz " You can't fool us, Bell. We are going to inspect your Body?

Ryu " Let us help you come back to your senses."

Bell " Wait wait Ryu san and Ais san l am serious. I am telling the truth. Please don't do this. It's embarrassing. Stop dragging me right now. I am begging you."

No body intent to stop them.

Bell's voice fainted after they closed the door behind them. After 10 minutes both Ryu and Aiz came out of the room silently with bleeding noses.

Ryu " Well that was too hot inside. "

Aiz could only nod.

After some time Freya came to visit Bell in Syr form.

Syr with a smile " Bell-san I came to see you."

Hestia was ragging and accidentally unleashed her divine power ( not an Arcanum).

Syr began sweating really hard.

She picked up the knife in the table and chase Syr around the house.

Hestia " Get you ass over here, you moron. I am going to burn you ass today."

How to Set Up a Kamidana

I just realized I had not put up this pretty central information!

What are Kamidana?

Kamidana 神棚 (literally "kami shelves"), are home altars used to worship kamisama. They are usually above standing eye level, though sometimes exceptions are made. If you live in an apartment, you can use floating shelves, the top of a bookshelf, etc. - the most important aspect is that the kamidana is placed high up, ideally at the highest location in your room. Kamidana should face east, south or southeast, and it is generally said that you should not set your kamidana up to face a butsudan (a Japanese Buddhist ancestor altar - don't go making one of these for your ancestors unless they were Japanese Buddhist). Also avoid placing kamidana above doors and near or in bathrooms. No matter where you live, if your kamidana is on the first floor and there is a room above it, it is good to write either the letter 雲 (cloud) or 空 (sky) in sumi ink on paper and place it on the ceiling facing down above the kamidana. An alternative is to purchase a kumoita 雲板 or a premade wooden cut-out letter of cloud/sky. You can see an example here:

The kumoita is the wavy shaped wooden board at the top/front of the kamidana. I was taught having the kumoita or the letter for sky or cloud is important since the importance of it is to show kamisama you do not want to step on them by creating a sky/cloud above them. Here is an example with a kumoita clearly visible at the top:

The branches at the right and left are of the sakaki 榊 tree, which are very important in Shinto. Some people use artificial sakaki branches, preserved ones or local evergreen tree branches. This is good to have, but not essential. The ceramics you see are called shinki 神器, and are not necessarily essential, but a dedicated set of dishes to offer rice and salt is very important, even if it is not specifically purpose-made shinki.

Offerings and Offering Vessels

The most important, standard offerings in Shintō are rice, water, and salt. Sake is only offered on special occasions. With all three of these, you must consume them eventually – usually one offers them in the morning and takes them down at night. You can offer once or twice a day, ideally before each meal. I usually store my offerings and put the water in my normal drinking cup to drink. You can also water your plants with the water. The rice can be cooked or uncooked, but if you are concerned about pests and such, you can pray and then immediately take it down. You can offer any kind of food to kamisama, but it is generally taboo to offer them meat (other than fish, which is usually offered whole) and it is definitely not good to leave bones, fur etc. on a kamidana.

Each shingu 神具, or offering vessel, has a name. Rice and salt are stored on the small dishes at bottom right labeled shirosara 白皿. Water is kept in a special lidded container called a mizutama 水玉, seen at bottom left, and the lid is left laying on its side like so:

The bottles at the left and right of the top row are for sake. They are called heishi 瓶子 and are left lidded. Most people only offer sake on special occasions, and others offer whole bottles of sake. There are several ways to arrange the ceramics, but it is greatly preferable that you arrange them as such: 1.米: rice 2. 水: water and 3. 塩: salt 4. 酒: sake

If you are placing your shingu on a tray, Ise Miyachu, a renowned manufacturer of kamidana and related accessories, has suggestions here.

Many kamidana, but not all, often have a sacred piece of hemp rope with rice paper on it called a shimenawa 注連縄 visible in the above examples. This is also common at shrines, and denotes that the area behind it is a sacred place. Shimenawa are generally changed yearly, like ofuda.

1: Shinkyō – sacred mirror where kamisama’s spirit can alight (not a permanent living place for kamisama, but still must be handled with respect)

2: Masakaki – a type of sakaki that includes references to the 3 sacred treasures and has sacred colors on it – the left masakaki has the sword, the right has the mirror and magatama 勾玉 jewel. This is an alternative (and somewhat fancier) than sakaki.

3: Mizutama - water container

4: Heishi - sake container

5: Hiraka/doki/shirosara – plates for salt and rice

6: Sakakitate – vase and vase holders for sakaki. You don’t need to have the box around the vase, as it's more decorative.

7: Kagaribi – candlestand. Note that the candles for these are rather specific (and come with holes) so I do not recommned this for people without regular access to Japanese candles.

8: Tōrō – electrical lamps. Usually one has either kagaribi or toro, not both.

Finally, the most important part, the core of a kamidana, is the ofuda. An ofuda can only be obtained at a shrine. You must never make one yourself. It is a slip of paper or small wood plank that has been blessed by the priests at the shrine, with the shrine's name on it. Most shrines require you to get a new one every new years (sending your old one in, or bringing it in person to be burnt and purified at the end of the year). This must be handled as a person if you travel with it, not placed in a suitcase. It contains part of kamisama, and is kamisama too.

Praying at a kamidana

First, have clean hands, gargle and be dressed. The general rule is to bow twice, clap twice and bow again, but this may vary by shrine or by sect/faith. You can pray or wish in your heart before or after you clap twice. You can also chant norito, which are sacred prayers. If this is not always possible, my experience as well as advice I have received is that kamisama will understand.

I wish Pagans would understand that Shinto is Open, But With Rules.

You can’t just take the pieces of this Faith that interest you. It’s been practiced for thousands of years. It’s a living faith with immense cultural ties, practiced in modern times.

Kami are not Gods/Goddesses, they are everything and everywhere. They are the rivers and the oceans, the laughter and sadness, the food on our table and the crops in the fields, our gratitude. That is why we don’t translate the word Kami. In other faiths in Japan, Kami is also used to refer to beings like God (Abrahamic), so that’s why it’s important when talking about Shinto in English, to not use the term God/Goddess.

Kami also have no rigid domains. A kami associated with the Mountains, does not mean they cannot help with healing. A kami associated with agriculture can help with romance. Kami interact with each other, and pass prayers along. They are not monolithic beings, they operate on their own. We treat them with respect, and they share their blessings with us. A parent-child, or teacher-student relationship, a vertical relationship.

The kamidana isn’t just some altar, it’s where Kamisama stays temporarily (unless you have a Goshintai then it’s permanent)! You have specific items set there to show optimum respect and reverence. Ofuda are where Kamisama enlights during prayers. Making your own is discouraged because the Ofuda is made in the presence of the Goshintai, so Kamisama passes their blessings to it. Same goes for omamori. When you obtain them from anywhere other than a shrine (or from someone who visited a shrine), they loose their virtue and protection. You also help support the shrines by obtaining them officially.

There are set rituals done for formally praying to Kamisama, because these rituals were passed down, and have cultural significance, choosing to ignore them and use another cultures practices instead is very rude. You can use pagan rituals in a separate space for Pagan deities, Shinto has no rules about practicing only one faith. But if you’re praying to Shinto Kami, the least you can do is learn how to do it properly, to show your respect to Kamisama.

Kamisama will hear your prayers even if you say them away from the kamidana , and will help as long as you are sincere and respectful.

Shinto is a wonderful religion, but you have to learn it properly, and engage respectfully. Just because it’s open does not mean you can do whatever you want with it.

Fully/mostly watched and enjoyed:

Ushio and Tora - FAVORITE dynamic, really like Ushio, short enough that I could finish and enjoy the whole thing without too much effort. Would even enjoy some more!

Rising of the Shield Hero - I think I finished the first season, but I'm not sure if there's more. Fun!

Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End - vampires! possession! drama!

Bleach - One of my first ever anime! Kind of fizzled out during the drudge of vs. Arrancar fights, but I'm excited for the new season. High nostalgia value, currently reading the manga.

Dororo - lovely and dramatic

Haiku! - very low stakes and lighthearted fun

Free - fun sports anime with fun character dynamics!

Satsuriku no Tenshi/Angels of Death - this is a weird one where the show itself is actually too far into the horror/gore for me to enjoy on its own but i read quiet like a fight and that propelled me through a good chunk of it. the amount of anime I've started because of good fic might be embarrassing if I cared.

Magi - the sexism was really over my threshold but in between that i had fun

K/K Project - kind of weird but i watched the whole thing in one night and cried. Suoh is one of my favorite character types and Kenjiro Tsuda is one of my favorite VAs.

Seven Deadly Sins - definitely not on my rec list given the sexism but the dude in red (Greed?) is My Kind of Character so i skipped through a lot of it.

Partly watched and enjoyed:

Isekai Izakaya - certain shows I really love, but instead of watching them all at once, I pull out an episode whenever I'm in the mood. I pull this one out whenever I want to chill and see delicious food.

Trigun - fun, more or less the same as above! More episodic type anime usually falls under this category for me.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless - another chill one that's firmly on my likes list even thought I haven't seen much of it

Mob Psycho 100 - REALLY liked the first season, haven't really been able to get into the second for whatever reason.

Kimetsu no Yaiba/Demon Slayer - Liked the first season! It doesn't quite have that special spark that makes me love it, but the lead is precious. I might continue.

My Hero Acadamia - I watched like until? season three? and had some kind of allergic reaction that has rendered me spectacularly indifferent. I enjoyed it at the time, though?

One Punch Man - kind of brainless fun for when I want the exact same thing repeatedly but in a funny way

Kamisama Kiss - Tomoe scratches a particular character itch for me but I keep getting frustrated by shoujo romance tropes I hate

Golden Kamuy - I really enjoyed the first season! and maybe season two, I'm not sure? I would like to finish this one sometime.

Rurouni Kenshin - the characters are a+ but some older shows are A Lot. I might try the manga instead?

Inuyasha

Lupin III - I've seen some of the movies and enjoyed them, seen some of the shows and enjoyed them! an ongoing watch

Jujutsu Kaisen - Yet Another Shounen Show, not much to differentiate it from shows like Demon Slayer, MHA, etc. Is there a genre for long-running battle-focused powerup shounen shows?

Ao no Exorcist - Started looking for the brother dynamic, got thrown off by the hostility.

Bungo Stray Dogs - for some reason I find this show confusing

Blood Blockade Battlefront - same as above. It's got the right chaos vibes but something's not clicking.

The Ancient Magus' Bride - I get bothered by shows where female characters are rendered permanently delicate by circumstance or tropes (one of the things I dislike in Yona) and when it's combined with romance it can squick me really easily. This kinda walked the line? Enough that I stuck with it, and it's absolutely beautiful.

Started and got bored:

The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat - Not bad, I'm just not particularly interested in the kind of isekai that's all about the lead being overpowered

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime - I lasted a lot longer watching this one, but see above! It was fun and lighthearted though, I might continue when I'm in the mood.

Sword Art Online - less bored and more baffled? I really liked the firsttttt....two? seasons? but then they kept jumping settings and I got frustrated.

Black Clover - eventually the shounen shows start to blur together and the first few episodes felt like Just More Shounen so I dropped it.

Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers-

Fate/Zero - or at least one of the fate/ shows

Currently watching (I tend to rotate between shows):

Sabikui Bisco - LOVING it, I really like Bisco as a character

Cowboy Bepop - exactly as good as promised

Mushishi - I think this'll be another show on the chillout list. It's gorgeous and just slightly creepy in a fun way.

One Piece - I made it to fishman island, I think, and lost my stamina 😅 Thinking about picking it up again, though!

Attack on Titan - more brutal than my usual fare, but sometimes I'm just in the mood for something horrifying.

Hi....Can I ask (if you don't mind), what are your top 10 favorite anime (until now)? And why do you like them? Sorry if you've already answered this question before....Thank you.....

Normally, I don't keep a permanent favorite because I watch a lot of animes since i was a child. And,when I start to like one a lot, it becomes "my favorite" in the moment. But there are certain animes that, while not necessarily the best, I was obsessed for a long time. it depends a lot on the moment I started watching it, how my mind was at the time and such. I'll name a few of these, but they're not necessarily favorites, and they're not in order. They're some that I've been obsessed with for so long that I'd look at and think about their content all the time, and until I found a new anime that made me feel like that, everything else seemed dull. (Also, I forgot a lot of animes names and all. i watched literally so much animes that i tend to forget( especially if this have just one season, since normally i watch in a day, watched, i mean, now i dont have the time;-;), and remember just when someone say its name/ show a picture of it lmao).

(Also, i will not say animes that are too new(like vanitas no carte) or ones that the adaptation wasnt good/ inferior in some way for me, but i was obsessed with the manga/manhwa, like tokyo ghoul, tower of god, promised the neverland, yuukoku no moriarty and such).

Naruto( one of my firsts animes, not the best, but will always have "that spot" in my heart);

Code Geass( i watched 2 times in a roll, the plot is just so good and well written. Its keep the quality until the very end. Its well rounded for real);

Mo dao zu shi(Its actually a donghua, but still... i am until now obsessed with it, tand its novel and drama. Wei wuxian is maybe one of my favorites protagonists of all time in all kind of media). I will even do 3 tattoos with 3 quotes from it and one quote that remember them;

D gray man( i watched just because I was bored, i wasnt expecting to find, maybe, the best shounen story. Its so good. Everything is on point. D gray man hallow/ kanda and alma arc will always be something that aches my soul). Soon, my tattoo of it will be done too, ( the 14th song);

Hotarubi no mori-e ( its a anime film. Its just... i have read and watched a lot of things way more sentimental and sad , but, for some reason, this really touched me. I am someone who pretty much almost never cry( already 2 years without cry), dont matter how broken i am. But, for real, I cried and felt a pain inside me with this story. I really cant explain why. And I will never know why was that story. Tattoo for that too, i hope ;-;);

Magi ( I love it. Still sad that dont have a season 3. I read all the manga already. Its gold! The best arc is just in the manga, and its something almost level chimera ants from hunter x hunter in psychological display. Is very good);

Kamisama hajimemashita ( That anime... I never laugh so fucking much with something. Its made me laugh, made me have good feelings. This is something that I will never forget);

Assassination Classroom( Ahhh, i remember that i had a lot of fun watching it);

Noragami ( still expecting season 3, like the clown I am).

Yashahime Translation: Real Sound Film Department Interview with Tadokoro Azusa

Tadokoro Azusa, Her Thoughts on the “Inuyasha” World That She Admired. Reading the Script for Episode 1 was “A Very Surreal Feeling.”

“Hanyō no Yashahime”, which depicts the next generation of the anime that is Takahashi Rumiko-sensei’s original work, “Inuyasha”, is currently being broadcasted on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV every Saturday from 17:30 (5:30pm on the 12-hour clock).

The protagonists of this work are three half-demons who carry the blood of a demon and a human, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha. Towa and Setsuna are Sesshōmaru’s twin daughters. Moroha is the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome but she grew up without knowing the face of her parents. What exactly happened in the feudal world that was supposed to have become peaceful after the permanent destruction of the Shikon Jewel. The mysteries are slowly being revealed and the story is visibly becoming more exciting.

This time, the Real Sound Film Department interviewed the voice actress who plays Moroha, Tadokoro Azusa.

When I got the role, I felt like “I had ascended to heaven.”

— Tadokoro-san, you play the role of Inuyasha and Kagome’s daughter, Moroha, and “Inuyasha” is what got you interested in voice acting correct.

Tadokoro Azusa (shortened to Tadokoro from here on): That’s right. It was a work that I loved, so my hands were shaking when they told me about the audition. That there was a new development in “Inuyasha” and that Inuyasha and Kagome had a child really surprised me.

— How did you feel (your) audition went?

Tadokoro: I acted with the intention that I put my all into it, but because I absolutely wanted the part, I felt nervous afterwards. That’s why when I got the part, I couldn’t believe it. I felt like had ascended to heaven.

— We heard that you jumped into a well before, thinking you might be able to go to the feudal era.

Tadokoro: The well was already buried so fortunately I wasn’t injured, but I really went for it (laughs)

— Now, you have time traveled to the modern era via the Tree of Ages’ passageway as Moroha, but were there any scenes that moved you deeply as you were acting?

Tadokoro: I don’t have a specific scene, rather it’s the episode 1 script. After watching the completed anime on screen when I was young, I was deeply moved that I was reading a script that had the lines spoken by characters from “Inuyasha”. I watched (the episode) on air in real time at home and hearing the voices of Inuyasha and the others on TV brought me be back to my younger days. Then hearing my voice afterwards. It was a very surreal feeling.

— Among them, we heard that Sesshōmaru was your favorite character. What was his appeal?

Tadokoro: First, Sesshōmaru has an overwhelmingly pretty face (laughs). At first, he seemed level-headed and hated humans, but after meeting Rin, you could see kindness slowly come through. I get wild ideas that for the few words he speaks, maybe this is what he was thinking? However periodically, he’ll say things clearly like “There’s nothing worth obtaining in exchange for Rin’s life” and I think that’s wonderful.

— Also, you decided to become a voice actress after admiring Yajima Akiko-san who did the voice of Kohaku in “Inuyasha”. Please tell us why you were taken by Yajima-san’s acting of Kohaku.

Tadokoro: Because Kohaku had to go through a lot of painful things, he came across as being absurdly prone to sacrificing himself. With Yajima-san acting as that Kohaku, it was as though there was more sorrow mixed in. It was a voice that made me go “I want to help him!” as I watched.

— Do you have any aspects that were influenced by Yajima-san?

Tadokoro: The biggest reason why I was drawn to Yajima-san’s voice and acting was because even in a normal everyday conversation, you could tell what sort of life that child went through. I thought I wanted to become that kind of a voice actress and when I met her once, I asked “How do you take on a role that has a thought process that you don’t understand?”

— What was her answer?

Tadokoro: “You know, I don’t know myself” is what she said. Because you don’t know, you continue to think about the feelings of the character you play and try to act in the same way. Actually, when Yajima-san played the role of a child from a wealthy family, she apparently stayed in a very expensive hotel for a week (laughs). Not only was I moved from seeing her acknowledge what she didn’t know and attempt to get closer to the role, I thought I should also understand the feelings of the person I’m playing without giving up.

Geeking Out During Recording

— The character you play, Moroha, is very expressive which makes her cute. If there is anything you are careful about while playing Moroha, please tell us.

Tadokoro: Thank you! Because she didn’t have an easy upbringing at all, she’s a very uncouth child. I’m conscious of that liveliness that always seems like it’s about to go off. It’s just that we purposely haven’t been told what’s going to unfold in the future actually, so it’s difficult in that sense. Not to mention Moroha’s emotions are constantly changing, so it’s hard for me to keep up (laughs). She gets interested in all sorts of things which seems hectic.

— However, it seems as though Moroha is the bridge that connects Towa and Setsuna.

Tadokoro: Yes. But in the end, those two are love dovey with each other so it’s sometimes lonely being left out (laughs). Moroha may seem like the type that acts recklessly at first glance, but she’s actually smart and surprisingly the most proficient in battle amongst the three of them. That sort of gap is charming. Plus, she has that sort of adorable idiocy like Inuyasha and Kagome’s cleverness, so I think that’s very powerful!

— Please tell us what you think of Towa who is played by Matsumoto Sara-san.

Tadokoro: While being a half-demon, Towa was separated from Setsuna when they were young and grew up in the modern era that she time travelled to. Furthermore, this time, she returns to the feudal era with Setsuna and Moroha, so I think she’s a complex character whose emotions are heavily swayed. From that Towa, I can feel Sara-san’s true sincerity or rather everything Towa says is what she truly feels without any ill-will which I think is cute.

— How about Setsuna who is played by Komatsu Mikako-san?

Tadokoro: Setsuna’s charm that Komatsu-san plays is her sharp appearance. I can slightly feel that cool face of Sesshōmaru’s after all; on the other hand, she exudes the cuteness of a girl. Through Komatsu-san’s acting, I think it’s wonderful that her cuteness of worrying about Towa, despite everything, comes through.

— What is the atmosphere like during recording?

Tadokoro: The three of us love “Inuyasha”, so we geek out! Since we also don’t know what’s to come, we speculate things on our own like “This might actually end up like that” (laughs).

— Every time an episode is broadcasted, there’s a lot of speculation that rouses social media as well. Please tell us what curious viewers should take note of going forward.

Tadokoro: If there are unexpected developments like “It’s come to that!”, then there will be developments that will make "Inuyasha” fans glad and at ease. The mysteries will slowly be revealed, so please don’t miss each episode.

— Within that, what are points to pay attention to for Moroha?

Tadokoro: Moroha’s past and the environment she grew up in will be revealed in a certain episode, and I think it will be an episode that will make her more endearing.

— Including the numerous roles you had outside of “Hanyō no Yashahime” and your singing career, I’m sure 2020 was a very busy year for you but looking back, how was it?

Tadokoro: With circumstances changing daily from the COVID crisis, I’m truly happy and blessed that I was able to expand my world in a new way. That’s why each job felt even more precious to me. I once again feel that I need to be serious about continuing (work) into next year and the year after that, so I feel pressure. It’s a feeling of “I can’t die out from here!”

— The state of the world was heavily shaken.

Tadokoro: You’re right… it would be great if we could all record together like before.

— Tadokoro-san, you turned 27 back on November 10th. What’s your goal for the new year?

Tadokoro: There’s my self-produced album, ‘Waver’ coming out on January 27th and my current goal is to become able to put into words how I think and feel.

— For example?

Tadokoro: For example, in daily life, to casually doubt something on TV or something a person says like “Is that really right?” or (say) what I was thinking. In a way, I put my current thoughts into songs which I compile into an album.

— You have stated that since the time of your debut you’ve always wanted to try playing a “young male” role, and lately you’ve been able to play a lot of young male roles, including Ryouma from “Kamisama ni Hirowareta Otoko” (By the Grace of Gods). Now once again, are there any roles you would like to try?

Tadokoro: I like foreign dramas, so I’d like to take on the challenge of dubbing a person who appears in a Western film.

— I think fans will look forward to the future development of “Hanyō no Yashahime” and your work.

Tadokoro: I would like everyone to wait while being excited. There are lot more things I want to say about “Hanyō no Yashahime” but it will get more exciting from here on, so please look forward to every episode. And I, Tadokoro Azusa, will keep pushing forward without coming complacent. Fans, please watch over me!

Summary: Siruko is going to kill Jiraichan for taking him to the stupid haunted house. But before that, he must escape it first.

A/N: Actually, the Mature Content warning is just me being paranoid. They don’t even kiss here, sadly. But there might be sexc (?) 👀 undertones. If you don’t care about that, go ahead and enjoy. [Title taken from a Billie Eilish song]

“iT wiLL bE fUn, siRukO-sAn! i’LL prOtEcT you sirUkO-sAn dOn’t woRRy!” Siruko seethes in anger, because if he doesn’t focus on that, he’s gonna piss his pants for real. He’s going to kill Jiraichan, he swears. There’s a moment of creepy silence, and he’s really scared to his bones. He doesn’t even want to take another step. Either someone’s gonna die because he kills them accidentally in his fearful state, or Siruko-san will of a heart attack.

He takes another peek from behind his hands covering his face. It was pitch dark, and Jiraichan and Quartetchi were long gone, leaving him behind in this maze of nightmares. Siruko hears the sounds of chains being dragged across the floor, metal against concrete making him grit his teeth. Nope nope nope, Siruko had to gather his courage. Whatever that was, he’s not gonna stay here to find out what it is.

One shaky step after another, he walks carefully ahead. So far, no one’s jump-scaring him anymore, after the zombie, the werewolf, and the man laughing maniacally, chasing him with a chainsaw and suspiciously looks like Hana-chan. His heart beats loudly in the chest, and he eyes with suspicion every corner and nook in case something jumps out again, not that he can see within this dark room. The light bulb keeps blinking erratically, its buzzing loud to Siruko-san’s strained hearing. All his senses are alert, wary of everything. Suddenly–

“EEEP!” Something touched him. Something definitely touched his butt. Siruko’s head whips around but he sees no one. He was so sure, he can’t be mistaken. Please please please kamisama get me out of here–

A soft chuckle behind his ear. Siruko turns around quickly, but no one is there. That— that can’t be his imagination.

“O-o-o-okay…” Siruko’s jaws tremble; he can barely get the words out. “Wh-who-whoever you arrrre– i-it’s s-scary I-I admit… yay-you-got me-scared-you’ve-done-your-job nowpleasetellmewheretheEXITis!!”

Something breathed on his neck; he can feel the coldness travelling down to his spine. Something snaps on Siruko’s mind.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!”

The purple head ran for his life, almost tripping several times. Another masked guy who was gonna scare him got startled instead as Siruko zoomed past him.

When his lungs were about to give away, Siruko stopped to inhale life back to his body. He breathes heavily, catching his breath. He was doubled over, clutching his chest, so he didn’t see the pair of red eyes staring at him.

“I–haaaah–I ssssswear *breathe in* —-i hate *breath out* haunted houses—”

“Then why are you here?”

“AAAAAAAAAA—-” A hand covered his mouth, cutting off his shriek. Siruko scrambles to get it off of him, his flight-or-flight instincts kicking in telling him to get away. “Sshh sshh shhh, it’s okay it’s okay, it’s me babe, it’s me, daijoubu…” A deep, sexy voice comforts, making soothing noises as Siruko struggles against a hard body.

When the words finally register in his terrified brain, Siruko calms down, shoulders slumping down in relief. Siruko recognizes his boyfriend, and the dark room just makes the red eyes glow dangerously but beautifully. He is momentarily mesmerized by Limone-sensei’s eyes and he forgets he was about to pass out.

“Smphnssiiii wrrrmmf,” Siruko whines, muffled by the hand covering his mouth. Sensei lets the purple head go once he was sure Siruko won’t scream. “Senseiii waaah!!!” Siruko clutches onto Sensei as if his life would be saved by this hug, afraid to let go. Limone-sensei rubs his boyfriend’s back soothingly, finding his almost-sobbing boyfriend cute. With his other hand, he pats his boyfriend’s purple hair reassuringly. Okay, so maybe Sensei is enjoying scared-out-of-his-wits Siruko, but of course he wouldn’t say that out loud. Siruko knows how to kill him.

“Yosh yosh, kowakunai kowakunai… Don’t be scared, I’m here.”

When Siruko finally recovers, Sensei lets him go reluctantly. He wipes Siruko’s cheeks with his beautiful fingers and playfully drops a kiss to his upset boyfriend’s nose. “Why are you even here? Can you walk? Let’s go somewhere private.” Suddenly they hear someone’s high-pitched scream in the distance and Siruko jumps out of his skin, holding onto Sensei’s uniqlo shirt tighter. Sensei would have blushed if he could. I should have brought him to haunted houses before. He hushes the alarmed whimpers Siruko made.

“Chencheeee… Mu-mu-muriiii…. I cccan’t—”

Sensei laughs lowly. “Hang on then, I’ll get us out of here.” Siruko wraps his arm around the teacher’s neck; a normal human would have choked with how tight his grip was, but Sensei wasn’t exactly normal. Sensei scoops him into a threshold carry easily, and Siruko has done this so many times before that he knows he has to close his eyes as a precaution.

After literally five seconds, they were outside, the crescent moon providing little illumination to the otherwise empty location. Sensei tries to let him down gently, but Siruko shakes his head vehemently. He’s not sure if he was gonna throw up because he was so scared or if it was because of Sensei's insane speed. Eyes scanning the area, the blue head finds a bench and strides towards it. He then pries Siruko’s death grip on his neck and sits him down carefully. Siruko knows he doesn’t have the strength to stand up; the adrenaline that made him run like crazy before was now replaced by weariness from all the shouting he did. He’s grateful to be sitting down; being scared is tiring.

“You okay now?” Sensei asks, massaging Siruko’s hand as Siruko tries to gather himself together and breathe. His heartbeat is still loud in his ears, but at least his knees weren’t shaking so hard anymore.

“Un.”

“I know you hate haunted houses, so what are you doing in the scariest horror house in all of Japan?”

Siruko’s eyes narrow threateningly. “Jiraichan.”

“Ah.” Sensei nods, needing no more explanation.

They sit there in silence for a while. The chilly air bites Siruko’s flushed cheeks, but it helps him regain his sanity. Siruko breathes in and out again to get the jitters out of his system. He finally gets his mind functioning enough to ask, “And what’s a real vampire doing in a haunted house?” He stares pointedly at the teacher, who smirks arrogantly.

“Part-time.”

“This? This was the part-time you were talking about?”

“Hana-chan.”

“Ah.” Siruko rolls his eyes, needing no more explanation. “Aren’t they gonna look for you?”

“I can make it back in no time. I needed to make sure you were okay first.”

Siruko fights the smile forming on his lips. Sensei was the most caring person in the world, and he’s touched. “If I ask you to kill Jiraichan and Quartetchi for me, would you? Please???” He turns on his pien eyes, but it’s never been effective against the vampire who has actual hypnotic powers.

“Omae bakagayo?”

“Tch.” Siruko mock-frowns. “Then at least kill that guy who felt me up. I’m not kidding, I swear someone touched my butt! It wasn’t my imagination, I’m sure of it.”

“Actually,” Sensei rubs his neck nervously, “That was me.”

“WHAT?!”

“Don’t be mad!” Sensei raises his hands in defense, as if Siruko can actually hurt him. Siruko glares, unimpressed. “You can’t blame me for not being able to keep my hands off of you.” Sensei tries to charm him with his smile. It didn’t work.

“SENSEI!!” Siruko crosses his arms angrily, feeling betrayed. “I WAS SCARED SHIT OUT OF MY MIND! How could you do that to me?!”

“Aww c'mon,” Sensei snakes his hand around the purple head’s waist, tugging him closer. Siruko stubbornly looks the other way. “It’s your fault. I was just doing my job scaring people, then you walk into my room looking so adorably frightened, the temptation was hard to resist.” Sensei noses the point where Siruko’s neck and shoulder meet, inhaling that sweet, delicious scent that always makes his mouth water. He nibbles the skin playfully, opening up the bite mark that has been permanently there since they started going out as a couple.

Siruko sighs in defeat, tilting his head as a silent permission. Sensei bites down a little hard and sucks. Siruko gasps, closing his eyes in ecstasy. The sensation of his blood being sucked was always so… intense and painful and pleasurable and scary. He becomes light-headed and weaker by each second. Yet, kaleidoscopic colors were bursting behind his eyelids. His lower region starts to take interest in what’s happening and warmth pools under his belly. There’s a reason why victims are always helpless against a vampire feeding on them, it’s like they’re injected with horny hormones and serotonin.

It only takes a few seconds, and Sensei laps the bite wound close. He licks his lips and savors the taste of his beloved’s blood on his tongue. With his heightened hearing, he can still hear the blood throbbing violently in his lover’s veins, and he waits patiently for Siruko-san to recover again.

“You’re so unfair.” Siruko murmurs breathlessly.

“Iyayaya, you’re the unfair one. You’re like a walking temptation to me.”

“OI! SENSEI!” Someone shouted and Siruko’s eyes flew open, jumping on his seat. The thought that their secret is revealed scares him a hundred times more than any haunted houses. However, it was just Hana-chan calling their attention from what looks like the employees’ back door. “STOP HAVING SEX AND GET BACK TO WORK!”

Siruko sighs in relief while Sensei responds to Hanachan. He looks in the other direction and sees Jiraichan and Quartetchi exiting the damned place, the pink head clutching Quartetchi’s arm so tightly it looks like he was gonna rip it off, and he looks so traumatized and pale. Siruko forgives the pink fairy in his mind; he can never get angry with him. It was probably for the best they left Ichihachi waiting in the car at the parking lot. Two steps in and the cat guy will faint.

“Go back to your friends,” Sensei chuckled. “I’ll see you later?”

Siruko pouts, hating that he has to leave his boyfriend’s side. “I don’t know, I’m still angry at you.”

“Then… what if I finally let you record my voice for your morning alarm?”

“Really?” Siruko’s purple eyes widen in delight. “REALLY REALLY REALLY???”

Sensei shakes his head in exasperation. Sometimes his boyfriend looks like an overexcited dog. “Just one phrase.”

“YATTAAAAAAA!”

Sensei face-palms and sighs. He doesn’t know if torturing Siruko-san a while ago is worth it in exchange for a stupid recording, but whatever makes Siruko happy, he guesses. He should have upped the ante and scared his dumdum boyfriend even more a while ago. Siruko was grinning from ear-to-ear now, and Sensei kinda misses the terrified, shaking uncontrollably Siruko who latched onto him tightly earlier. Ironic how Siruko-san is frightened of horror houses but not scared to date an actual monster.

“Happy Halloween,” Sensei mutters to himself sarcastically as Siruko kisses his cheek.

I found out that I became too dependent on stress to be able to write, and I’ve been staring at this document for three days because I couldn’t write it because I wasn’t stressed. " Come On ( Y/N____ )! I said I was sorry."

" I heard you, I'm not deaf Kurama. " I replied.

" Then please quit ignoring me and accept my apology. " Kurama begged.

" Well yes but- "

" Listen, I'm not mad at the fact that you are constantly surrounded by thousands of girls because they love and adore you. I get it, that is one of the perks of being a pop idol. " I said while my shoulders dropped slightly and I set the pot I had in my hand aside on the kitchen counter.

" Come on darling, you know for damn sure that is not true. You are the only girl for me and I can never get enough of you. " Kurama wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck as I unconciously wrapped my own arms around his back and pulled him forward to me.

" Oh Kurama, that's not fair when you do that. It's a foul play on your part. " " I know but that's how I can get you to forgive me easily and fast. Why don't you just admit that you can't resist me? " Kurama winked at me as his hands wandered a little lower below my waist.

" Hon, I never said that I couldn't resist you. " I grinned and kissed his lips.

" That's my little tengu..... " He purred a little while pulling my shoulder sleeve down a little.

" You're a tengu too silly. " I pulled away and backed away from him.

" I'm aware, why are you backing away? "

" Becuase if we continue this little session then we won't get any dinner nor any sleep tonight. " I replied while pulling my upper sleeve back up on my shoulder.

" I got my meal right here and who said I wanted any sleep? " He hugged me from behind so tightly that I couldn't even wiggle my way out.

" Don't be silly Kurama. We have school tomorrow and I want the ability to walk ok and not have bruises on 80% of my body. " I turned my head slightly to meet his eyes.

" So call in sick so that way I can have you all to myself when I get home. " Kurama nibbled on my ear and I accidently let out a small moan.

" Kurama....I said no. "

" But that moan you let out said yes. " He continued to nibble down my pride bit by bit.

" Kurama, I can't but I'll make it up to you. " I whispered in his ear.

" Now how about I fix our dinner, watch a little TV and then hit the hay? " I asked.

" Sounds good. " ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday Afternoon: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I walked through my High School hallways to get to the cafeteria and pursue to eat my lunch. I heard a big crowd coming through and figured that it must my boyfriend Kurama and his epic fangirls coming to trample me anytime now. I decided to ignore them and just have a peaceful lunch.

" Excuse me? "

" Hm? " I looked up to see an old familiar face above me.

" You're ( Y/N___ ), right? "

" Oh my gosh, Takahiro! Hey How have you been? What have you been up to? How are you here? " I kept asking questions because I was so excited to see my old best friend from when I was 12.

" Well I'm great now that I get to see you again here on a daily basis, I've been up to doing web design and moved back here to my old home because I've missed it and you so much and now I'm here talking to you. " He answered all my questions in one quick motion.

" I'm so happy that you're back, come on and let's talk. " I offered him a place to sit with me and we started chatting like a couple of crazy people. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kurama's POV: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to have lunch with my girlfriend today but the fangirls would not stop chasing me and giving my girlfriend the death look if she tried to come closer to me. I somehow managed to sneak my way to the cafeteria only to see my girlfriend getting close to a man I haven't seen around her before. He doesn't seem to be one of her male friends and I know because I've met them all. I walked a little closer and they were laughing like crazy, what could they be chatting about to make them laugh that hard.

" Hey ( Y/N_____ ), who's your new buddy? " I asked her.

" Oh hey honey, Kurama this is my old best friend Takahiro, Takahiro this is my new boyfriend Kurama. " She introduced me to him and I got this intsant bad feeling about him.

" It's a pleasure to meet Kurama, I see you all the time in music news. You are a big deal and I'm glad (Y/N____ ) got a good boyfriend. " Takahiro smiled towards me and I cringed a little.

. " So Takahiro, is this a permanent stay here or another temporary transfer one. " ( Y/N___ ) asked him.

" This is actually a permanent one this time. I'm glad I get to stay here. " Takahiro replied.

" That's great, I've really missed you and your advice over the years. "

" Well if you ever have any questions like you did last time, I'm always here for you. " I saw Takahiro hug my girlfriend. I don't like him at all.

" Well I actually have to go work now but how about we have lunch this weekend? "

" I actually can't, I got stuff to attend to this weekend but how about after school on next thursday? " " Sounds great. "

" Ok, awesome! I'll see you then. " ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your POV: -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------" So Kurama, how did you manage to get away from the whole group of fangirls who would trample anyone if they got close to you? " I smiled and rested my face on my hand.

" It's a mystery but it's not impossible love. " Kurama sat down and hugged me gently.

" I'm glad and what's the hug for? " I asked.

" Nothing, can't I just show my affection for the only one I love? " He replied.

" You can, no doubt about that but we're at school and there are rules about public displays of affection. " I replied while kissing his cheek.

" Oh don't be so strict and a goody goody. "

" I have to be a good girl, that's what you asked me to be a few nights ago, did you not? " I asked with a grin on my face.

" I did, didn't I? " Kurama replied.

" You did. "

" Damn, oh well. I didn't promise anything " Kurama kissed my neck and I giggled slightly.

" Kurama? "

" Yes love? "

" This sudden affection wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that Takahiro came back into my life and that he is a man who has needs just like any man does. " I asked.

" Are you suggesting that I'm jealous? " He asked.

" I'm not suggesting, I'm saying you are. " I replied with a grin on my face.

" Fine, so maybe I am. It's not fair though. "

" Who said that I or life had to be fair? "

" Good point. "

" Honey? "

" Yes? "

" Don't be jealous, he is not mine for the taking nor would I take him when my heart is already taken by the wonderful Kurama. " I looked at him and kissed him passionately.

" Thanks love, come with me please. " Kurama took my hands and led me to our school rooftop and placed me on the ground.

" What are you thinking Kurama? " I asked.

" I'm thinking that no cameras or fangirls are here so I can have you for the takening. " Kurama came closer and closer to me and caputered my lips along with my heart.

" Oh honey... " I felt so much love in my heart for this man that I felt like I wanted to let go of my restrains for him right here and right now and wrapped him in them. I kissed him over and over again while he was busy running his hands all over my body. I love this man.

" I love you so much Kurama. " I run my hands through his red soft hair.

" That's the first time you've said that darling. "

" I know and I will continue to say it for the rest of my life. " I panted slightly.

" I love you more (Y/N___ ). "

" Not possible. " I smiled in our kiss. We continued to make out until Kurama suddenly stopped in the middle of our little session.

" (Y/N___ )? "

" Yes? What's wrong? "

" Your wings are showing. " Kurama pointed out.

" Oh I'm sorry, my mind was focused on other things that the spell wore off.

" I guess I'm to blame for that. "

" You are but it's ok, thanks honey. " I tried to compose myself and focus so that they would disappear just in case someone came up.

" Come on, we can continue this when we get home. " Kurama helped me up on my feet.

" Good idea. " My wings disappeared and I walked with Kurama out from the rooftop and out of the school. We walked together back to our home and rested easily. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- " So honey? "

" Yes? " " This afternoon when you said that his heart wasn't yours for the takening, what did you mean by that? " He asked me.

" I meant that his heart was already taken by someone, his heart is taken by his wife. " I replied as I stirred the food in the pan while I was getting some more ingredients ready for our dinner.

" He's Married!??! " Kurama screamed.

" Yeah, I understand your reaction giving how young he looks. He's been married to her for over 4 years. " I explained.

" The dude is 17! He can't possibly be married. "

" He's 21, not 17. " I replied.

" Oh wow... "

" He does look 17, doesn't he? "

" Hell yeah. "

" Well don't worry about him. "

" How do you even know him? I've never even heard you mention him to me. "

" He was the first human who I told that I was a tengu and he accepted me for who I was, he also helped me out when I couldn't get a grasp on the concept of the human world. I never talked about him because his departure had me devastated and if I talked about him then I would freak out. " I explained.

" Oh I see. "

" Do you feel better Kurama? " I asked while setting the food from the pan onto our dinner plates and setting the plates onto the table.

" I guess but do you now that you've explained that? " Kurama asked me.

" I feel fine. " I replied.

" That's good but how about now? "

" What?- " I was cut off from Kurama kissing me the life out of me and me wrapping my arms around him. He broke off our kiss and looked into my hazy eyes.

" Better? "

" Oh much. " I kissed him back and hugged his waist. Kurama picked me up and we started to head to the bedroom.

" Now let me make my good little tengu feel something she hasn't felt in a while. " Kurama winked at me while I blushed.

" But what about the dinner, it'll get cold. " I asked.

" We could reheat and eat it later. For now, I'm going to enjoy my dessert first. " Kurama kissed my neck.

" O-Ok... " I blushed even deeper.

Introduce yourself I am Lonneke! But online I prefer going by the name Rumii. I am currently 20 years old and I live in the Netherlands. In my spare time I like drawing (of course), Cosplaying and Gaming. I used to be really into anime, And I still have favourites like Kamisama hajimemashita, Black butler and hetalia. But right now I am more of an artist/ gamer. In which I play alot of Overwatch, which would be my main fandom. and Story rich games like NieR; Automata. I love meeting new people, and especially other artists. Even though I tend to be a bit shy at first //especially in large groups Nonetheless I hope we can get along!! And Im very excited to try out zines. as I have never done them before. When did you start drawing? Are you a digital or traditional artist? I started drawing in last grade of primary school, so around the age of 11/12. I primarily started out traditionally, but quickly picked up on digital art. Mainly using MS Paint when I just started out. Next thing I know I had a drawing tablet and extensively used Paint tool SAI. So I would say I am a digital artist. Though I do traditional as well, but I don't upload traditional art as much. Do you use any traditional mediums? If so, which are your favorites? I have! for traditional work I just use whatever pencils I have around for sketching. Micron fineliners for Linearting. I don't color my works often, but have started getting some copic markers, pro markers and twin markers to try out. I like using the copic markers alot, they are very expensive.. but I can just feel how much better the quality is compared to my other markers.

(or viceversa) I highly prefer digital, mainly because it's way more easy to manipulate your works, edit any smaller mistakes without having to draw them over again. and from lineart on, nothing you do is permanent. Plus I can use way more colors than I can on traditional mediums right now. What do you think is the most challenging part about being a traditional/digital artist? I think the biggest challenges for me were getting accustomed to my drawing tablet. I mean it really takes some time to get used to the pressure, and it really feels different than draiwng directly on paper. and after that getting familiar with the drawing programs. I just switched programs again and I am still figuring out all the tools. So even though I think digital mediums make things alot more easy, it takes a long time to get everything out of it. even years later you can discover a function you never knew of. which will elevate your art even more. What inspires your pieces? I take inspiration from various places, I like doing challenges, or just fanart. but also alot from music. it can get me into a certain mood or I can just see a piece that fits with the music. and then try sketching it out while listening to this song. I also like looking around for special things like 'mermay' for example. Look at the themes and just try to imagine what kind of piece I can do with that.

image source: [X] Explain your "everyday" drawing process I kinda take I gotta explain how I get through an artwork? well, first of course I try to find my inspiration. Or I already have a vague idea of what I want to do. And I make a super super rough sketch. then I go over it and add slightly more details. My sketches are still usually very messy. but I love that when I lineart I can make everything pretty and detailed. and it looks better compared to the sketch. Which is obviously my next step. After that I lay down base coloring in seperate layers. Always starting with skincolor > Haircolor > eyes > bigger parts of clothes > smaller parts of clothes > details If I have background I try to go with the biggest parts like the sky or ground or whatever first. and move up from bigger to smaller things pretty much. I work very organized so I always have my layers in different maps. Usually one for each character, and for the entire BG. sometimes also different ones for different parts of the background. so it's easy to find back if I have to fix something in a certain part of my artwork. Besides this I also sometimes do more painted works, I have only done those in portraits so far. But in those I made the sketch > put colors below it > merge layers > start the shading part by part on top of it. usually working back to front on which colors overlap eachother Do you have an artist you admire (or more than one)?

image source: [X] What makes art interesting for you? For me it started alot as a way to vent my emotions. It calms me down to draw when I am sad, angry or happy even. I love being able to look back and see the improvement. and know that in 2 years I will once again look back at the stuff I am currently very proud of. and know I can already do so much better than that! This is really what keeps it interesting to me, I think. What do you do when art block strikes? //Cry// Jk, To be honest. I either try to break through and search for any inspiration. Or I just call it a day and go game or listen to music. In the last 1.5/2 years I have had a massive art block. I was dissapointed in my own art. didn't know what to draw anymore. and didn't see the point of continuing. Just recently I found a new art program. which in this case helped me get out of this huge slump. and I'm ready to be a bit more active. and get into new projects and broaden my horizon's in general What’s the most valuable art advice you’ve ever received?

Well, I haven't asked for alot of advice before. but a while ago I sortof got the advice to use references more often. After which I feel alot less afraid to do so. and feel like my works are getting alot better. and I find it easier to start on things after searching for pose or background refs

Hi! I'm an amateur horror manga reader and I was wondering if you can recommend me some good Gore/horror manga titles?

Guess it sorta depends on what kind of horror you’re into. I like a variety of things, some of which isn’t actually what could be considered *good* but I enjoy it anyway. So…

Anything by Rei Mikamoto: Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw, Satanister*, Reiko the Zombie Shop*, and Kyonyuu Dragon are the only ones in English.

Literally anything by Junji Ito. I think there’s another blog with a list of all his works.

Franken Fran (Medical / Body Horror with some Dark Comedy involved)

Alice in Borderland (Action-Survival, Psychological, with some Horror)

Dolly Kill Kill (Action-Survival Horror, gets more actiony as it goes on)

Crime Zone (Got axed, wasn’t that good, but the art is awesome and the gore is lovely)

TRASH. (Action-Horror, mostly a gore fest, deals with criminals and there’s a lot of fucked up sexual content)

Apocalypse no Toride (Zombies, Juvenile Prison, Body Horror that has personally given me nightmares)

Biohazard - Heavenly Island (has to do with the Resident Evil games, great art, zombies, girls in swimsuits)

Dead Tube (YouTube but for snuff films, gets really bloody, sexual content, good art)

Highschool of the Dead (zombies and fanservice, on permanent hiatus so don’t read if you actually want to see stuff completed)

Innocent (fantastic art, historical, deals with executions)

Hoozuki Island (more psychological, deals with kids on an island, has some sexual content)

I am a Hero (zombies, fantastic art, body horror, takes a while for it to really get going tho)

Kamisama no iutoori & Kamisama no iutoori ni (survival, horror, with so much dark comedy - it’s rather over the top in how ridiculous it can get but take my word for it, it’s amazing)

Kyochuu Rettou (well it’s horror if you have entomophobia like I do, survival, deals with giant insects, basically there’s a lot of eroguro in that the bugs seem to enjoy molesting the cast, the characters are irritating but honestly it’s enjoyable since the gore is very good)

Mahou Shoujo of the End (Zombie survival-horror except replace zombies with magical girls, then it starts getting confusing with some sci-fi shit but I was invested at that point)

Mahou Shoujo Site (by the same author as MSotE, little girls get magic sticks, bad shit happens)

King of Thorn (survival, horror with psychological elements, people have a fatal disease and get put into sleep capsules until a cure is found, then they wake up to a vastly different world)

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (mostly dark comedy and mystery, the horror elements come along later, but involves psychological elements)

Murcielago (Lots of violence and yuri content since the MC is a lesbian, there’s some mystery involved, but basically it deals with violent crime and a serial killer being the one to deal with it)

Ousama Game: Origins (a prequel, I liked it better than Ousama Game, horror, survival, basically a ‘King’ tells people to do a variety of shit and if they don’t they die gruesomely or otherwise get punished)

Rakia (religious horror, fantastic art)

Real Account & Real Account II (same story, just focuses on different parts of it, survival, people getting sucked into the digital world, social media stuff)

Princess Resurrection (has mystery elements, mostly involves monsters of the Universal Monster Movie variety, art gets better as it goes on)

Screaming Lessons (mostly focuses on grade school or middle school kids, each chapter is a stand-alone for the most part, has a very shoujo art style which can make the more horrifying images stand out in contrast)

Tokyo Akazukin (Red Riding Hood themed, a loli that’s immortal, body horror, gore, so much gore, but nicely drawn gore, the plot can get confusing but it’s fun)

Shiki (vampires, a small town, *interesting* character designs, mystery-ish, with horror elements)

School Ningyo & School Ningyo 2 (mermaids but not in the conventional sense, young girls hunt down 'mermaids’ to eat their flesh so the boy they like will like them back, bad shit happens if they don’t succeed)

Scumbag Loser (Invasion of the Body Snatchers if it was a manga, basically. Great art, creepy)

Wolf Guy - Wolfen Crest (werewolves, really violent teenagers, and a teacher who is really hot and has many horrible and graphic things happen to her)

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (psychological horror mostly, mystery, but it doesn’t shy away from using plenty of violence, the anime didn’t do it justice, has a lot of arcs and stories so you’ll wanna look up what order to read them in)

Umineko no Naku Koro ni (witches, psychological horror, mystery, again the anime didn’t do it justice and you’ll wanna look up the order to read it in)

Fire Punch (superpowers, post-apocalyptic, violent, I’m honestly not sure how else to describe it)
