I saw this poster for a great lineup at the No Values festival in Pomona, CA. I noticed Sublime on the bill, but it was only when I shared it with my son, Dylan, that he noted, "Sublime? Not Sublime With Rome?" Scanning the internet, I found out that Bradley Nowell's son, Jackob, has joined the band. Apparently, they are now touring as Sublime for the first time since Bradley's untimely death. On the other hand, I did not find anything suggesting that Sublime With Rome has split up. Who knows where this is all going, but it could be a fun ride. Sublime is also playing at Coachella so perhaps we will see them at Riot Fest this year.

Anyway, that was a long winded way to say that I am kicking off the weekend by Doin' Time with Sublime!

She considers saying so when the others ask—when Lottie offers to do her hair, when Nat offers to get her drunk, when Mari looks her up and down and says, “God, Van, it’s not like you’ll be alone. We’re all going together, aren’t we?” She considers looking Mari in the eye, smiling politely (always politely, always so fucking careful to look the part), and saying, Go fuck yourself.
