I wish everyone who gloated about how Nate’s future at West Ham was due to fail - how he was bound embarrass himself at West Ham, the players would never respect him,he’d never be a real coach and the only way he could ever redeem himself would be to be utterly humiliated and brought ‘down a peg’ first - a very *~*smug grin*~*, because he’s known as the hottest coach in the league! Pundits are still praising how good his tactics are! His team beat Zava! Context* tells us Nate is killing it at West Ham! In his personal life he’s taking steps towards combining humility and confidence; he’s got better self-help routines and is forging a genuine connection with someone he really likes!

And it turns out that Nate didn’t need to be humiliated or ‘fixed’ by someone else in order to be a better person; he just needed to step away from a situation that at that time wasn’t good for him! And recognise on his own what he did wrong with Ted, and make steps to look after himself! Who’d have thunk!

Okay, so I am not aware if this is old knowledge or not, however I was looking around in the Library of Congress' Hamilton papers and I came across Laurens' December 18th, 1779 letter to Hamilton, (in which he expresses that Congress wants to choose him over his nomination for Hamilton to eventually head to France). What's caught me by surprise is this:

Between "good citizen" and "I returned to Philladelphia..." there are roughly four lines of writing that are crossed out (the markings being downward loops through the middle of the writing). What has made me very curious about this however is the omission of a note that this writing was crossed out in the transcript of the letter within The PAH.

I suck at reading handwriting (yay visual impairment) but like... if anyone has any idea what this crossed out section might say, I'd love to hear about it.

i really like the headcanon of Nico having astraphobia/brontophobia, mainly as like a result of the whole thing of Zeus hunting down his family for like a week until killing his mum cause I imagine that would be Slightly Traumatizing (especially since from his perspective it wasn’t that long ago). But also it kind of pairs as a bonus continuation of the theme with Big 3 kids not handling certain elements of the other Big 3(/children of Kronos) well (Percy afraid of flying [Zeus], Hazel getting seasick [Poseidon], Thalia afraid of heights [arguably Hera], etc etc.)

...But also, like. Yknow. You could totally do an OHSHC with it.
