I started doing pokemon teams for my main characters! Tion was first, this is his team~

A specially colored Hisuian Zoroark first and foremost. It fit with it's typing and ability to change how it looks, as this is something Tion can sorta do as a last resort. But also because of the description of how viciously it'll protect it's family.

Leavany was added on a similar note. Wanting to wrap all his friends in blankets and take care of them is very relatable for Tion.

Mimikyu is a favorite because of how hated Tion is for being a necromancer and a freak in ways I won't fully describe here, but still being caring and friendly.

Polteageist got partly picked for being a ghost type and partly because making tea and meals for his friends is Tion's favorite and most important job in his opinion.

Vileplume was also picked for the sorta 'alchemist' aesthetic it carries. But for the other end. Being clever with poisons and such is what Tion *prefers* to do with his necromancy to protect his friends and save the really freaky stuff as a last resort.

And finally Marowak, not just because the bone and skull aesthetic was very fitting, but because losing his mother in a tragic way.... Happened. Tion's not nearly as focused on revenge though.

Why is my Leavanny is scared of fire? She acts super paranoid when she's near a source of fire, she's been like this ever sense I got her as a Swadloon. How do I deal with this?

That's clearly some trauma from some kind of incident.

As someone who deal with this at times, let me help you out.

Do not try and force them to be around it, you'll only make it worse.

You need to support them when they are feeling down, because its not uncommon to catch your pokemon feeling depressed about something they consider a shortcoming.

Support your partner and let them know that they are not broken.

It's possible that they have a scar or have been heavily injured by something involving fire.

I personally deal with bouts of fear regarding fire, but I've come a long way since my accident and I'm dealing with it much better.

Whenever we get occasional forest fires we need to rescue a lot of wild pokemon and relocate them, some dealing with similar fears, most recovering but some don't always adjust back.

They have been relocated to rehabilitation centers or places they can live in peace in semi captivity, or occasionally they might be considered for adoption.

Your pokemon might have some fear fome a similar experience and now you need to take the time to learn about their needs and reactions to this situation.

It will be a time of growth, but I'm sure you can.

Gira gets Leavany because it's a friendship evo and it's Pokedex entry talks about them caring for other Pokemon

Yanma has a Rotom because hee hoo tech

Himeno has an Audino because they help out at Poke Centers

Kaguragi has a Greedent because... Food? Idk I ran out of ideas for him

12.25.23 reblogged a piece of thievul fanart the other day and went Hey Wait A Minute Tat Guy Looks Familiar which turned into a What Other Non-Boss Pokemon Would the Societea Have? thought experiment. might draw some stuff based on it later

was considering audino or chansey for the doc but comfey is also a pokemon associated w/ healing, maybe someone he picked up during oblivia? i'd consider thievul his ace over a standard healing mon, considering the importance of his criminal aspect, but he's probably worked with them before. kept kasa's ditto, think leavany would be a good partner w/ it making clothing + what have you out of leaves. kept hocus' crobat bc i couldn't really think of a good reason to get rid of it + a pokemon that evolves only with high friendship emphasizing how they're not wholly evil + supersonic attack to disorient enemies following with his theme of messing with your mind. zoroark feels like a self explanatory addition. uhhhh not really sure about arley. p confident in conkeldurr (vague architecture/material connection w/ arley being a woodcutter + conkeldurr's line being what it is), but not sure about his other partner... machamp for being the OG big fighting guy, pangoro bc i like how its pokedex entries say though it has a violent temperament and is the type to talk with its fists, it doesn't tolerate bullying and is kindhearted toward its companions - it's a nice charactization that could parallel arley's? (also pancham won't evolve unless another dark type is in the party and that'd be a fun little nod to thievul + zoroark's presence)- and crabominable just bc i saw it on the fighting type list and my mind got stuck on the idea.

It was hard to keep steady, especially when her master was behind the counter with his face up against her cooch. Helga had mentioned something about his tongue being magical, and she was curious and asked Tristan himself. Long story short, Helga was VASTLY underselling it! If you can call "A tongue blessed by Arceus" an undersell. "U-Um!" she panicked, stammering as she tried to lie. "I'm...not...not sure where Master Tristan is! Maybe...at work?" Arceus above, it was hard to get subtle and stay calm with that tongue doing its magic

Hi, I recently got diagnosed with Social Anxiety/panic disorder (people are scary!). What pokemon would you recommend outside of the normal Blissey/Chansey lines that could help with this?

Hmmm, well I'm not a doctor in any sense of the word, but a lot of protective canine breeds help.

If you like huge partners, Growlithe and Arcanine are protective and great companions.

I'll always talk up electric types like Manetric and Jolteon for being able to help people with neurological issues like seizures.

Social pokemon like Leavany are great as well as they are natural care takers.

Mr. Mime are well known to be extremely helpful for caretaking as well.

Also the Fennekin and Chimchar lines are excellent partners for protection and assistance, and they can be quite social so I would suggest them.

Of course whatever pokemon you gel with is a great choice, but you might want to get them trained and certified as an assistant or personal care pokemon before you simply just take someone with you.

Something that bothered me after replaying pokepark 2:wonders beyond

The park pad and the characters refuse to acknowledge familial connections, the closest thing is that krokorok "He is like a big brother to sandile." why not make them brothers

I allways thought zoroark was zoura's mother but in the story "My friend zoroark"

Leavany-"She treats sewaddle like her own child" again why not make them related, If it's just to display how kind leavanny is, fair enough

I thought beartic was cubchoo's father, to be fair the park pad entry doesn't say "Friend" or any other word like that so maybe

I thought timmbur and gurdurr were conkeldurr's children, Gurdurr's Parkpad entry "He cares for timburr in the cove area like his little brother"

Loppuny and buneary seem to have some familial connection but I can't figure out what

I thought scraffty and scraggy were siblings-Like beartic and cubchoo somewhat ambiguous

I thought gothita and gothirita were gothitelle's children

All of this I could look over but the most egregious case of this

Snivy and serperior, serperior is the queen, snivy is the princess-I'm at least 57% sure what a monarchy is and any time snivy refers to what should be her mother she is referred to as queen serperior, you might think "Maybe its just a manner of respect" snivy is an asshole and I highly doubt (at least in early in the story) she would show that level of respect to anyone

If you think some of these go too far into headcannon territory, your probably right

Hello! Back again with. My other dream!

This one is not was funny as the last one, but still worth noting

The first thing I see was a GIGANTIC and I mean HUGE alpha pkmn (can't remember what pkmn it was.)

Towering right out side Jubilife's wall, near prelude beach, but I also saw a huge lucario outside jubilife's gate the sky was all grey and foggy, and I was just doing my regular pla stuff, but the npcs actually interacted with me

Also there was this huge building made of leaves (not in Jubilife) and I remember I kept dying there but I kept going back. Idk why, but I think I was trying to catch the pokemon there. They looked like leavanny and there was an alpha too. I spent most of that dream trying to catch leavany or staring at the giant alpha pkmn

That sounds disorienting, and a little frightening! I get nervous around animals that are significantly taller than I am (horses scare me so bad) so being around alpha Pokémon and normal large Pokémon would kill me just by existing near me

But good on you for going about your duties anyway! I would’ve teared up a little during it lol

Oh ya, I should probably do this. So I'm Blu and I like bugs, like really like them, so much that I decided to open up a daycare specifically for them.

My team consists of: My Lil 3 legged bidoof named Nugget (The only non-bug-type on my team), Avocado, my shiny crustle that I hatched from an egg, Celery the leavany who is like a mom to my team, Burrito is my volcarona and is actually really sweet, though he's really protective of all the little baby bugs here, Lemon zest is my stubborn as hell galvantula. and finally, we have Tostitos my scolipede who is very kind for her species. Also, I'm the only daycare in Nacrene city so you should see me.

( I do acknowledge hybrids and crossbreeds, If you want to learn about the daycare just ask because otherwise, I will probably forget to post, as school is pretty stressful. )
