I love Breyer's LB/PP Unicorn, but he seems to primarily have been produced in varying shades of white, while other unicorn models usually show up in various pastels. I decided to go a different direction, and gave him a makeover to a flashy black leopard appaloosa!

I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, because my reference was a leopard appy with a LOT of tickmarks on the "blanket" areas. But now that he's all done, I rather like the effect. As with my models in general he's on the stylized side, but that's okay. He's a very pretty boy and I'll be happy to look at him on my customs shelf until he finds a new stable.

A good friend on Twitter, Wildin, was kind enough to let me draw their beautiful red leopard appaloosa horse, Joker. ❤️🐎🐴 I was really feeling the need to draw an equine friend, so this was very kind of them. 😊
