“Do you remember when you told me that your friend was sick and I promised that he was going to be okay?” You asked, he nodded “I’m not going to promise you something like that again, we both know that it would be a lie for me to do that.” Leorio sighed as he looked in the direction of the hospital and you stood. “Look I have to go but let me know if there is anything that I can do for your friend okay?”

It had been a couple of weeks since everything had happened and Leorio told you that Gon was okay and Killua was taking his sister on a tour of the world because she hadn’t really seen much of the world, you offered them a place to stay when they got to your side of the world because you didn’t have any mission for the next couple of weeks and so that was why there was a loud banging at your front door. “Leo you know you don’t have to try and break my door down!” You yelled as you walked to it and finally opened it.

“I wasn’t even knocking that hard.” Leorio dismissed you as he walked in, you looked at the younger kids that were behind him and smiled.

“I’m Gon!” One of them cheered.

“Killua.” The next introduced himself “and this is Alluka.”

It was part of the HxH Game crossover event I 've decided to take part in.

About this au, some things are changed some stayed the same but just so you know, characters are kind of based on:

^Phoenix Wright - Leorio, aspiring defense lawyer, he wants to protect those whom people are averting their eyes from. He more or less willingly gets mentored by the stupidly smart brat Killlua who seems to know any law term and norm. They banter a lot but actually become decent friends.

^Maya Fey - Gon, a spiritualist of a world-renowed family Freecss with traditions. The rumors say they can contact the true spirit and connect with the netherworld. Has been saved by Leorio and Killua both, joins hands with them afterwards

^Edgewotrth - Kurapika, got mentored by the Zoldycks on how to become top prosecutor. He's utmost driven to not let any true criminal go unpunished. Gathers renown until the day he'll be able to catch Phantom Troupe and bring justice to the fallen, has a companionship with Killua bordering on sibiling bond

^Mia Fey and Franziska mix up - Killua, he has a pivotal role in leading Leorio's carier and actually becomes his mentor after triyng to cut off his ties to his inheritance as the Zoldyck heir, a true tycoon of the prosecution world. During trials if he decides to participate he takes on a role of a consultant.

As you can see, though Leorio is the titular attorney, Killua is the glue connecting everyone in here. But that just leaves all the more unresolved conflict because he hides the truth of his heritage. He found Leorio by chance and he got impressed by him after a second third take with the attitude he has, how it's not about money but bringing the truth to the table, pretty much opposite of the Zoldycks. I'm not good at writing but I'll try to say few things about their cases? It's more or less basing of "The Trilogy"but with the spin of HxH characters being themselves, it sure would reflect in the plot,

-A case about mysterious animal being spotted, the legendary Chimera Ant! Gon is a huge deal on this case because his spiritualist power call back to the wilderness and all the instinct one gets from it.A lot of logic/belief topic going on here and killugon spotlight

-A case of murder on the "Hunter X" movie plan, it's related to Gon because he was there to meet the main hero, Kite, his godfather. He gets roped into the investigation and is considered suspect for some time before

-Another case in which Gon is the main suspect. Since he's from family of spiritualists, vibing with the nature and otherworld. So when there's a case against him Killua is determined to find his innocence. Even if it means going against Kurapika. That's also the case that showcased Leorio and Kurapika's banter and whatnot so major old marriage leopika vibe

-There's a huge final case in which member of the PT's is murdered and who would have guessed, Kurapika is found bloodied on the crime scene. This is a very turnaround case because the one responsible for prosecuting it, is no one else but Killua after he disappeared (made a tactical retreat) from Leorio's side. Perhaps family pressure? Illumi blackmailing him? Being ashamed of 'tricking' Gon and Leorio and leaving Kurapika to deal with everything alone? All of the above, because now he stands against everyone he grew to be fond of. Eventually, the true killer gets found giving a chance to mend strained bonds, by joining hands in catching the real culprit all along that was hiding among the witnesses. The fake group member [wink] -Ps, Netero's just playing along for the trial's sake even if he's got the truth like way earlier, he's not naive, but likes seeing 'entertaining trial' as long as it's goes the right way eventually

-Leopika & killugon featured, all aged up, imagine lots and lots of banter and sexual tension in the court

Minute

"Leorio!!" you yell out looking for him in his apartment worry welling up within you.

It had been a while since you had seen him. With school and work taking both of your times up you barely had time to see each other. But today when you called him to meet up on his day off he seemed off.

Something about his tone and how his voice held no true emotion, filled you with dread as you headed over to his house.

"Leorio...please answer"

You walk into the living room finding all of the lights except one-off. The single light cast a dim shadow over the room allowing you enough vision to see his sleeping form on the couch.

His lanky body barely fitting on the small couch as his head slightly hung off the edge.

You smile relief washing over you as you say he was somewhat okay. You walk over to him crouching down to meet his head lifting it up as you woke him up.

"Leorio wake up bub. C'mon, let's get you to your bed" you quietly told him causing him to groan arms reaching out to you pulling you on top of him.

"Leorio" you squeak trying to get out of his grasp.

"Shh s'okay just sleep" he murmurs to you nuzzling himself into your neck as he turned to his side letting most of his body fall on top of you.

Your arms wrap around him cradling him into you as one of your hands gently massaged his scalp lulling him back to sleep.

"Okay...but just for a minute" you quietly respond smiling as you let yourself fall asleep.

If you’re angry at them

Kurapika

-Is very sensible and mature about the situation.

-Wastes no time in coming to you and figuring out what the issue is, or if he already knows why you’re angry, he offers a solution to the problem.

-He listens intently to you as you vent to him without any interruptions, and will also express his feelings in a way that won’t upset you any further.

-Kurapika hates you being angry, especially if it’s at him, so he’ll do everything in his power to make it right immediately.

-However, if your anger is concerning his dealings with the phantom troupe, Kurapika’s sensibility morphs into stubbornness and he tends to become biased with his own feelings whenever you bring up the subject.

-You would probably end up pointing out how unhealthy it is to obsess over finding and eliminating the phantom troupe which makes him feel outraged/betrayed and he’d probably end up saying something hurtful in response.

-And when he’d finally come back to his senses and realizes the hurt now on your face, he’d feel ashamed with the way he acted and would excuse himself to think about the situation.

-He’d come back to you later and will apologize and will pinpoint exactly what he said/did to stress that he knows specifically what’s bothering you. He would compromise with you if you’re still upset with his goal at hand and would try to consider your feelings whenever he became too headstrong with his vengeance.

Leorio

-You and Leorio often get into petty disagreements on the daily, but it’s never enough to make you that angry.

-So when Leorio finally manages to push that button that makes you snap, he’s shocked at how livid you become at him.

-Leorio is very stubborn and his ego is so big that it’s difficult to admit whenever he’s in the wrong. Because of this, the problem doesn’t get solved right away and the two of you remain irritated and cold towards each other as the days go by.

-Your behavior towards each other would eventually began to eat Leorio alive and it genuinely pains him to see you upset or ignoring him whenever he passes you. This will in turn make Leorio be the first to cave and apologize to you.

-He’d probably give you a gift, maybe a teddy bear that says something cheesy like “I love you beary much” or a card he made himself that reads “I’m sorry, please love me again.”

-And If he did something really terrible, he’d suck up his pride and would wear a worlds biggest idiot T-shirt with an arrow pointing up at him just to prove to you how much he regrets the way he reacted.

-You start to notice that he’s literally stressing himself at this point to make it clear that he’s sorry and you figure that he’s had enough punishment once you see all the effort he’s putting in to make things right again.

-When you do accept his apology, Leorio sighs in relief and will immediately start crying dramatically about how much he’s missed you.

-After that, you guys promise to always talk out your problems whenever something upsets the two of you, and you seal the deal with a kiss on the lips.

❀ sleepyhead❀ [killua x reader]

Prompt: Killua using Y/N's lap as a pillow.

I used a prompt generator for the idea and I liked this one a lot. Take note I added some plot so it ain’t just a short scenario. ^__^

The five of you, Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio and you, had to spend the time that Leorio gambled in the Trick Tower in a room.

All of you were doing your own thing. Leorio was taking a rest on the couch with his blue suit-jacket off and tie undone. Kurapika was busy reading a book from the bunch he found. Meanwhile, you were busy trying out Killua’s skateboard along with Gon. The two boys were teaching you how to ride the skateboard.

“I have never rode a skateboard before. This is nerve-racking.” You admitted, watching Killua set the skateboard down on the floor for you try.

“You can do it [Name]-chan! Just do what Killua told you, relax.” Gon cheered for you, giving you a thumbs-up. He just had to insist Killua for you to try his skateboard first before him.

Killua nodded in agreement and gave you a reassuring smile. It was the same smile that he flashed at you when he first met you back at the First Phase of the Hunter’s Exam. The same smile that made your heart melt and chest fuzzy all inside. “Don’t worry too much, it’s not like you’re gonna die [Name].” He stifled a laugh. “Come on.”

A sigh escaped your lips, “Fine, whatever.”

You shakily raised a foot and slowly got on the skateboard. Both of your arms were stretched out wide in the open space as you attempted to keep your balance. The skateboard rolled back and forth ever from your weight. You were actually doing quite good, you still haven’t fallen off.

“You’re doing great [Name]-chan!” Gon praised you.

“Are you just going to stand there?” Killua laughed which made you feel uneasy and flustered at the same time. His laugh was contagious. You were pretty sure your face was flushed in a shade of red. His laughter was cute.“Come on, move! Use your foot to slide you forward.”

“Okay, okay.” You took your right foot off the skateboard in order to slide it against the floor to give you a boost to move. However, as soon as you lifted a foot. The skateboard suddenly rolled backwards causing you to lose balance and fall frontwards. “Crap--!!”

Lucky for you, Killua was in front of you and he caught you right on time before you could hit the ground. You couldn’t make out the look on Killua’s face because you had your head resting on his shoulder with his arms around you to support you. You hear Gon snicker at the two of you. You and Killua looked like you were hugging each other.

“S-sorry!” You stammered, immediately pushing yourself away from Killua. Now that’s when you saw the look on his face. His cheeks were dusted in pink, he had an amused expression though. He shook his head at the sides and coolly ran his fingers through his silver-hair

“Pssh. It’s nothing!” He claimed, faking confidence. “I guess skateboard ain’t just your forte huh?”

“I just told you but you and Gon didn’t listen.” You huffed in annoyance, face still a bit red from earlier’s incident. You turned your head to Gon, “Your turn.”

You and Killua watch as Gon attempted the skateboard. You watched in surprise as the skateboard flew in the air and hit Leorio in the face. At least you didn’t do too bad unlike he did. What a relief. You and Killua stifled a fit of laughter, you two were trying your hardest not to laugh as you two watched Gon get scolded by Leorio.

The three of you were banned from using the skateboard after that so you looked for something else to mess with being the teenagers you are. The three of you ended up playing a game that Killua taught you and Gon in order to kill time. After that, you started to play with Gon’s fishing rod along with them.

But eventually the three of you had gotten tired after messing around. You had just finished changing into a comfortable shirt for the mean time. You turned your head to see Leorio snoring on the couch and Kurapika leaning by the wall with his head in between his legs as he slept peacefully. Your eyes continued to wander and eventually you found Gon fast asleep on the futon. Then there was Killua who was still wide awake. He was doing some neat tricks with his skateboard.

You decided to walk up to him, “Aren’t you sleepy?” You asked.

Killua got off his skateboard with a finishing trick before turning his attention towards you. He smiled and shook his head, “Not yet. You?”

“I’m not yet sleepy either.” You said, taking a seat with your knees on the other futon that was laid out on the floor. You futon was located on Gon’s right side.

Killua placed away his skateboard, placing it down besides Gon’s bag that was located in the corner of the room. He trotted towards his own futon that was beside yours and took a seat as well. He turned his head to face you, watching you comb your hair to get rid of the tangles.

You could feel his gaze on you even if you weren’t look straight at him in his piercing, ocean eyes. You could feel your face burn red again at thought of his gaze on you. The way he smiled and stare at you made you melt and weak on the knees. Everything about him was so intriguing. He may be an assassin, well, ex-assassin but he had this soft look.

He actually looked a cloud because of his hair.

Your eyes snapped wide as you felt something tap your shoulder. You lifted your gaze to see Killua, his face leaning against his knuckles as his elbow rested on his thigh. “You alright?” He asked, a smirk tugging on his lips which made your face contort into a look of confusion.

“Um, yeah? Why?” You managed to say.

“Your face is red. Are you blushing?”

You hung your head, letting your loose hair cover your face and for extra measure, you covered your face with your bare palms. “NO.”

You heard him laugh.

“Yes, you are! Why are you so red, [Name]?”

You bit your tongue and shook your head.

“I’m NOT.”

You heard him click his tongue. You proceeded to shield your face with your hands and loose hair. You didn’t dare to take a peek of what’s going on as the atmosphere grew silent. You hoped he’d leave you alone and just sleep on his futon.

Your ears perked at the sound of shuffling. ‘He probably went to sleep already did he? God I hope he did, that cheeky bas- WHAT IS THAT?!’

You swear you felt your heart drop for a brief second as you felt something lay on your lap. It was fluffy and it was tickling your thighs. Suddenly, your hands were swatted away from your face by force as you felt something grab your wrists and the next you knew, you were staring into a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes. Killua was laying his head on your lap as if it’s nothing at all, he had that smug look written all over his face as he met your gaze.

“There you are.”

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Your heart was practically racing to the point that it could rip out from your chest if you fail to contain yourself. So many thoughts and emotions were running across your head right now. They were all mixed up altogether. You looked like a fuse that was about to blow in short notice.

“Laying on your lap obviously.” Killua said bluntly. “It’s pretty comfortable actually.”

Let’s just say, you fell short for words. You weren’t actually uncomfortable. In fact, you didn’t mind Killua using your lap as a pillow. You were enjoying it to be honest. You have never been this close to him before so it was a whole new experience for you. But it was so sudden that it caught you completely off guard.

“Hey.” You mustered out after a couple of seconds. “Killua? Oh--”

Silence.

It took you a moment to realize that he had released your wrists and he had shut an eye already. Killua had fallen asleep on your lap. You stared at him intently, observing the tranquility that his face held as he softly snored in his sleep.

You sighed, tucking the loose strands of your hair behind your ear. “Liar, you said you weren’t sleepy yet. But look at you, sleepyhead.”

The two of them talk as they walk until a yellows haired and a tall man wearing a suit approaches them “Where did you go?!” The Man in the suit scold Gon “sorry I got lost” Gon replied while scratching the back of his head, the Yellow Haired Man turn towards Leah and Straightforwardly ask for her name “I'm Leah” She Replied and the Yellowed Haired Man introduces himself as Kurapika and the Man wearing a Suit introduces himself as Leorio

When the Exam has started the Four of you run following the Examiner through the Strange looking forest. As you all Running you haired some Screams not too far from your location “What is that?” Leorio Ask “It must be the Others” Kurapika Replied along with his Panting. Hours has passed and At least the half of the Candidates were now gone and Leah On the other Hand was still running along with her Panting because she can't handle these kind if things but she doesn't wanted to gave up

While they're all running Kurapika and Leorio was Left Behind and it make Gon and Leah worried and suddenly a white haired Boy the same age as God Approaches them while Riding on his Skateboard “There's no point of worrying the others” He said in a Nonchalant Manner, Gon on the hand tells the Boy the he couldn't just leave his friends behind because that's what friends do “You're Interesting. what's your Name?” The White haired boy ask “I'm Gon and the Child Besides me was my Friend Leah. what's Yours?” Gon Ask “Hmmm I'm... Killua” He Introduced. Gon smiled Widely until a familiar Scream caught your attention “Leorio” You said Running back “Leah!” Gon Calls you out “What's wrong with her? She doesn't run back” Killua Said “*Smile* See you later” Gon Followed Leah and Killua Sprinted out “That Two kids must Crazy” The Bald Man commented “Yeah.. They're” Killua replied

When Leah and God Arrived at the scene they spotted a countless Body of the other Candidates on the ground

The Clown Looking Man Walk towards them. Gon prepare his Rod and Attack the Man only for it to hit into the side of its head, the Magician turn his attention towards Gon with an amused face “Ohhh A Rod? How Fascinating” He said and the. Suddenly Leorio came out from nowhere and attack the man but the Magician punch him that it'll send him flying

Gon attack the Magician again but this time it catches him holding him by his neck, Leah on the Other hand was In Rage that she didn't noticed that her Power was leaking out only for the Mischievous Magician to Noticed it. “Are you here to save your Friend?” The Magician Ask “What a good Boy” The Magician Added before letting out a smile and Drop Gon on the Ground “Well Its good to have friends right?” the Magician approach to Leorio and Pick it up before turning his attention on Leah “Put Him down!” Gon Commanded “Only if you catch me” He said before disappearing in the Foggy forest

When Leah calms Down she approached to Gon and Ask him if he was alright and Then Kurapika appeared

Leah knows that this is not the First and the last she will meet the Magician so she needs to get ready

After the Hunter Exam Leah Went with Killua and Gon to the Heavens Arena to join and earn some money and to train too

Leah was more Bonded with Gon than Any of her friends and she Hates/Love Killua because he was annoying a and keep pestering her

When the three of them got registered they started their fights. Day after Day the three of them gets better and better until they've reached the 200 Floor. There's only limited time for them to get registered and when they got there a Strange Aura stops them from continuing. “What's happening?!” Killua Ask “I don't know!” Gon Replied “There's something prevents us from walking further” Leah Said. The Aura makes Leah Realize who it was “Hisoka!” She said. Hisoka was sitting on the end of the Hall “Hmmm... We meet again” The Mischievous Magician said “Didn't know that the three of you would come here” He added “Hisoka!!!” Killua shouted out angrily

Hisoka let out a breathy Laugh not noticing that Leah was now besides him

Leah's Body was now covered with light as much her eyes. She Constantly control Hisoka's Body and hit it on the Wall

Gon and Killua was very amused with and thinks that it was Awesome

Hisoka was now on the Ground bleeding and Leah was still wearing her Power as if she was waiting for Hisoka to Stand up and fight back

Killua and Gon thinks that Hisoka gradually loses his consciousness but into their surprise Hisoka let out a breathy Laugh As he was happy about everything “She was so right about you young girl” He said and Leah Was si Confused “what do you mean?” Leah Ask him and Hisoka just laugh at her that make her to be enrage more, Leah Pick Hisoka's Limp Body again and Slammed it on the Ground so Hard and it make him spit out some Blood, Leah doesn't know why she was enraged about suddenly and why she couldn't stop herself from hurting Hisoka

After awhile a hand grab Leah's Shoulder and throw her against the wall “You're.... La-Late” Hisoka said “Forgive me” The woman said before turning her attention to Leah

The woman Walk towards her and grab her Jaw “Didn't expect to you to come In here” The Woman said “Who are you?” Leah ask but woman just ignore her before putting her down

When Hisoka Get back into his feet he Wraps his arm on the Woman's Waist and Drag her into the Dark Hall. Gon and Killua rush towards her side asking if she's alright but Leah just nodded out still looking that dark hall where the woman and Hisoka dissappears

Leah was left puzzled and wondering who's that woman is.. She seems familiar but why?

I imagine Leorio as a street rat and the reader as a young man who works as a tailor. The fic would involve the reader and Leorio getting to know each other despite Leorio trying to steal from him.

you sighed, opening up your shop with a yawn leaving your lips. you weren’t in any mood to come into work as you had fallen asleep rather late and knew you had to be up early the following morning.

“morning Hanna,” you whispered to your assistant. she gave you a small wave as she saw the tired look written all over your face, “what has you so grumpy in the morning?” she asked, setting down a cup of tea on your wooden desk, making sure to put it on the coasters.

“fell asleep late and didn’t want to get up in the morning,” you replied, making her laugh, “ahh, I thought you were busy with Leorio last night,” she joked. you gave her a roll of your eyes before throwing a wad a paper at her, “haha, very funny,” you joked before taking a sip of tea.

“well, you better shake off any grumpiness you have,” she said, “we have a few suit fittings and we can’t be off our game today,” you sighed knowing what she was saying was true. you knew your life as the most famous tailor in the city would have you running around here and there but recently, your shop was getting busier and busier.

after you drank down the tea and got out your tools for the day, you sat outside, expecting your customers to come in anytime soon. the day was a bit brisk, nothing you couldn’t handle though. the wind was making it slightly chilly but with the sweater you were wearing, you knew you’d be okay.

“morning ( your name ),” you heard Leorio’s silk voice say. you jumped slightly, one at the fact that you hadn’t heard Leorio coming but two at the fact that your fact that Leorio had wrapped his arms around your shoulders, “morning,” you replied not as enthusiastic.

Leorio laughed, seeing the way you tried to avoid his eye. Leorio sat down next to you, trying to hide the fact that his clothes had gotten dirty the night before. the street he placed himself to sleep at was dirtier than usual and got his grey pants all dirty.

“shouldn’t you be working?” Leorio asked, seeing a few customers come in. you instantly whipped your head around not noticing the amount of people that had walked in within the time that you were talking to him, “shit,” you whispered, not bothering to talk back to Leorio as you ran inside.

he followed you inside of the store and sat down at the small table you had available for people to sit at. Leorio sat down, watching you fit people into their suits. Leorio couldn’t lie, the way you would bend down, stretch to reach something had him smirking.

Leorio was never the kind of guy to shy away from his feelings. he found you attractive. very attractive to be exact but he also knew that you had known about the few instances where he would steal something here and there. it wasn’t anything too big, usually it was just a pair of shoes that he would sell so he could eat but every now and again, he would only steal a tie or a shirt.

your clothes were very high end. you did a lot to get clothes from other countries to sell to those who were considered rich. you did have a lot of money from your job but the money that you did save was only to be used in extreme situations.

a few times you had considered giving Leorio money so he could stop stealing from you. part of you did care that he did steal from you because you worked hard for the clothes and merchandise you sold but another part of you knew that it was hard to live where both of you lived.

your family wasn’t considered one of the rich families in town. your family struggled a lot to put food on the table. sometimes you even went days without eating because the food in town would be too expensive to afford; however, once you learned how to sew and eventually studied a bit about learning how to tailor clothes, the guy who had taught you everything you knew gave you his shop when he passed.

you were honored to have such a store be given to you. you knew it was hard to even get one to run without failing but now that you had been running the store for the better part of two years, you knew all your hard work paid off.

you had met Leorio about a year and half after you were given the store. at first you were a bit hesitant on actually speaking to him. he seemed like the kind of guy who would only use you for money but once you started to get to know him, you knew that sort of charisma he had only came from the fact that his charm was the only thing that worked on people.

every now and again, you would turn over to Leorio to see what he was up to. he would talk to those coming into the shop and convince them to buy whatever it was you had up for sale. every so often when someone would forget to pick up something, you would put it up for sale after a few weeks.

you knew Leorio did this as his way of apologizing for stealing things from you. Leorio made sure that the things he did steal in order for him to survive weren’t high end. he would steal things that were cheap or fall apart easily. since Leorio stole them and never said where he stole them from, your store would never catch heat for it.

“what’re you still doing here?” you asked a little later on in the day. Leorio was sitting on the same chair, playing with a few spare shoe laces that were lying around the store, “bored and I still wanted to spend time with you,” he playfully said.

you rolled your eyes jokingly as you heard Hanna giggling from the other room. you paid no mind to her as you felt Leorio grab your hand and run his fingers across the palm. Leorio always envied how soft your hands were. besides the few scrapes and cuts you would get from the needles, your hands were almost perfect.

“well, it’s reaching two in the afternoon and i’m starving,” you told Leorio a while later, “i’m going to buy lunch,” you added on. Leorio smirked knowing that whenever you said this, you would always buy something extra for him, “I’ll take a sandwich,” Leorio murmured.

both of you got up from the table as Leorio had said that hew as going to do a few things before you got back with lunch. just as the two of you were about to separate from each other, Leorio grabbed your hand and placed a kiss on your semi-rough lips.

this had been the first time that Leorio had ever kissed you. you just hoped that Hanna wouldn’t come out now because you knew that if she did, she would never let it go. Hanna always thought that you and Leorio were perfect together. aside from the few mishaps that always happened between the two of you, she knew you and him would be great as a couple.

“where did that come from?” you asked, feeling Leorio play with the back of your hair, “don’t know,” he replied, “just felt like it,” he added on, giving you a playful smirk before placing another kiss on your lips.

“see you in an hour,” Leorio said one final time before exiting the shop. you sighed, not knowing what do to, “see ya,” you whispered. not even a few seconds later, Hanna walked out of her tiny office, a giggle leaving her lips, “don’t think that I didn’t hear what he did,” she confessed.

you grabbed another paper off your desk and threw it at her, this time she completely dodged it, “it’s cute!” she said before running away before you could throw another wad of paper at her.

you knew that if Leorio kept up his antics, she would never let it go and a part of you did not want Leorio to stop.
